Secret Islamic History of the Jewish Women according to Queen’s University
Richard K., one of Canada’s “bully bloggers,” posted a few days ago an article about a course offered at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
Thanks to him, many times before we have been alerted about some questionable and even outright bizarre ideas promoted by the education system in Ontario. This course is not an exception.
Its purpose is to present the Jewish women in a historical perspective. It’s all good and noble and the university should be proud of that initiative. But they are not that willing to share what that course teaches. When you go through the syllabus, one of the conditions that stands out is that the university doesn’t feel like sharing.
In the beginning we are warned that everybody attending should keep secret everything that’s going on:
To build an atmosphere of civility, trust, and participation, and afford reasonable privacy it is necessary and you are requested to abide by the following:
-no recording
-no cells, Internet, texting
-no visitors, no auditors
It seems odd that an educational institution, which operates with public funds, would keep in the dark the public that provides the money about what exactly they are teaching. A closer look at the syllabus explains why this is happening.
For some strange reason all the lecturers teaching the course are hardcore supporters of the Palestinian extremism and not that fond of the right of Israel to exist as a separate state. In his article Richard provides the background of those speakers. I just want to add a few points.
As I said, the course is taught by several people who speak on different topics, which are not even linked to each other. There is not much of systematic thinking taught throughout (if you ignore the systematic Jew-bashing). It looks like the administration patched up something ugly in order to provide money for speakers who otherwise won’t be able to get any gainful employment.
The lecture by Sylvat Aziz scheduled for Week 1 on September 11 is supposed to provide an introduction to the course:
• Intro, The Hijra in Islamic Imagination: Current realities and Context
Documentary: Transgenders (Intersex Communities)
I am totally lost about the connection between hijra and transgenders. Unless there are some secret verses in the Koran, I don’t recall any trannies accompanying Old Mo on his flight from Mecca to Medina. Obviously, the academic idiots who run our universities, have very little concern about the facts.
One of the stars of the course is Prof. Abbie Bakan. Her contribution:
• Considerations of ‘Anti-semitism’, Racialization, and Power”
Readings: Abigail B. Bakan and Yasmeen Abu-Laban, “The Racial Contract: Israel/Palestine and Canada” Social Identities: Journal for the Study of Race, Nation and Culture, vol. 14, no.5 (September, 2008), 637-660.
That woman doesn’t even want to call Israel by its name and thinks that anti-Semitism is just a social construct. She can contribute nothing but hatred to a course on the Jewish women. I saw her for the first time in 2011. At the opening night of the Israeli Apartheid Week 2011 her speech was entirely filled with bashing of Israel and the “Zionists”.
Compared to the other star of the opening night – Judy Rebick – Abbie Bakan is not a very pleasant person. While Judy delivers her Jew-bashing with the bubbly enthusiasm of a village idiot, Abbie looks and speaks like a guy forced to speak after eating a case of lemons.
If I didn’t know any better, I would’ve pitied the students who had to endure her presence in the classroom. However, after learning what is really going on at Queen’s University, I am convinced that Abbie Bakan is exactly what many students want.
Her course is just one of the pathetic results caused by imposing of the policy of “diversity”. That once great university has turned into a stinky cesspool, where they are supposed to take seriously and with respect any weird culture or worldview.
Thus Islamization has paved the way for the poorly veiled attack on the Western values. One of the issues of their magazine – onQ – for 2010, which creates the impression that only the minorities are worth writing about, opens with an article by a smiley hijab Muslima.
She casually states that the Scottish tradition of the university is not good and has to be changed. After whining about her Muslim “prayer space” being defaced, she pompously states she joined an organization willing to change Queen’s. (Was that the Muslim Brotherhood?) Of course, all those changes are in the name of building a “better community”.
Apparently, the advancement of the Islamic ferociousness on the Queen’s campus has been unstoppable since then. Recently a student attempted to exercise his right to free speech by placing a “wall”, where students could write whatever they wanted.
He quickly found out that there is no such thing as free speech at Queen’s University. The administration promptly shut down the “wall” and the security removed it.
They refused to provide their reasons, other than vaguely stating that it happened because of “hate speech”. Since “Free Palestine!” is probably not considered hate speech at that place, we may take a look at another statement.
Somebody wrote:
“Mohammad was a pedophile; he fucked 9-year olds.”
Regardless of the crude language, this is a factual statement. All Muslim scriptures proudly state that he married a 6-year old girl and had sex with her when she turned 9. From most points of view he was a repulsive pedophile. Islam is the only religion, which won’t condemn that pedophilia.
It looks like the Mohammad remark pissed off the Muslim fanatics on campus. They started discussing ways to take away the free speech wall, as their Facebook conversation shows:
Those rabid Muslimas have no problem shutting down anything that disagrees with their cult. And they are proud of that:
“I vandalized it as best as I could. Tearing it down and the campus cons will turn this on our head and make it seem like we are violent activists that university will take action against – not effective, unfortunately.”
And it seems that they managed to get the Human Rights Commission involved. There is no way to lose, because the human rights inquisitors are the most trusted ass-lickers of the Muslim fanaticism.
And I see that the campus “cons” are the only ones expected to confront a bunch of fanatics, who have respect for nothing but their stone-age cult. But even the “cons” couldn’t do anything, because the administration took the side of the cultists.
So that’s it, folks – if you thought that the course was some kind of an aberration, think again. In the current atmosphere, which defines Queen’s University, every anti-Jewish and pro-terrorist speaker will have a large and very attentive audience.
When you think that the same is going on in York University in Toronto (among other places), it’s hard to ignore the fact that the people who run and attend those universities (supposed to be the brightest) make all possible efforts to undermine our civilization by supporting destructive ideologies.
With such “bright” people in charge our future doesn’t look very bright.

The Case for Boycotting York University
The Jewish Defence League of Canada has called for a boycott of York University.
Many prominent members of the Jewish Community have donated over the years large sums of money to York University and many continue to do so. The JDL plans to picket outside the offices of such high profile members of the Jewish community to demand that they no longer provide material support to York University. The JDL boycott campaign against York University will start in two weeks.
It’s understandable why so many Jewish donors support that university – they still have the fond memories of it as a quiet place of high learning, which provided education to countless Jewish students. However, the transformation of York University into a place dominated by groups supporting radical leftism, Muslim extremism and Tamil Tigers terrorism, somehow escaped the attention of most of those donors.
While they still live in the past, trying to help, the current Jewish students are those who get the short end of the stick, being intimidated by the assorted idiots who control the student organizations.
It is hard to deny the contributions of the Jews to York University. If you take a look at the map of the campus, it’s hard not to notice that some of their donations were high enough to get buildings renamed in their honour.
I don’t know how much the Goldfarbs donated, but it is a well-known fact that thanks to Seymour Schulich’s generosity $27 million poured into York’s business school. That’s more money than what all the lefties graduating from York University will be able to earn during their lifetimes.
Here you see the Sherman Health Science Research Centre – it exists because another rich Jew, whose name is Barry Sherman, provided $5 million to start it. And there are many more like them, who have contributed tens of millions of dollars of combined donations.
You may get an idea about the problems here when you see that just a few blocks south of Sherman Centre is located the Norman Bethune College. Bethune didn’t contribute anything – he supported the forces of destruction. In the mid-1930’s he helped the communists in Spain in their attempt to establish a Stalinist dictatorship. Later on he switched to an even more despicable career, helping the murderous army of Chairman Mao to take over China.
Bethune’s heirs at York University are worthy of his legacy, betting on the PLO terrorism. And when the issues of Israel and PLO become central in the leftist worldview, all the Jews around them inevitably suffer, except the clueless ones who keep giving money.
The intimidation of Jewish students has been going on for years. Of course, it is clumsily disguised as “criticism of Zionism”, but anybody who has even the faintest idea about those people, can see that the term encompasses everything related to Israel and its culture. Every Jew, who doesn’t loudly condemn his or her culture (the way the weirdos from “Independent Jewish Voices” or “Neturei Karta” do) is presumed guilty.
In 2008 Dave Gordon, fed up with that intimidation, published an article in National Postoutlining the problems. He called the Jewish donors to reconsider their donations to York University, because their money financed anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli events.
The examples he referred to, painted a grim picture of the university:
“In November, 2007, York University saw several hate-filled incidents. Hasbara Fellowships organized an informational table campaign about Noam Chomsky. The table was swarmed by anti-Israel students, shouting “that Hizbullah is not a terrorist organization. The real terrorists are Zionists and the Americans.” A faculty member shouted “Gestapo!” at Jewish students. That same month the Campus Coalition of Zionists put on an Iran Awareness Campaign. Anti-Israel students mobbed the table. They then began ripping materials down, shouting and pushing students. These mini-riots were posted on YouTube.”
Even some of the learning materials reflected that hostility:
“In a York University course, “Introduction Critical Concepts: An Introduction to Politics” the textbook says, “Israel continues to use state terrorism in an attempt to subvert the Palestinians’ quest for nationhood.” This is a small sample of what happens regularly on just one campus.”
It was ironic that at the time the anti-Jewish groups operated as part of the student institutions, financed in part by the donors, while the organizations that were fighting anti-Semitism, like Hasbara and Betar had to rely on modest community support.
The publicity was enough to bring more scrutiny. The next year a commission composed of several Jewish organizations, among which were the United Jewish Appeal, Hillel, and Hasbara, prepared a report about the situation at York University.
It relied on “hundreds of submissions from students, faculty and Jewish community members after recent events at York have left many members of our community shocked and shaken,” the commission stated.
Their final report listed many cases of “intimidation, harassment, ridicule and virulent anti-Israel sentiment on the York campus over the past year.”
“We’re talking about offhand comments or scurrilous comments…unwarranted or unjustified political personal opinion that is not based on fact or is unrelated to the course that an instructor is teaching… We had one case of a [teaching assistant] who told a student who was wearing an Israel Defence Forces T-shirt to never come into his class again with that T-shirt on.”
The commission requested that York University establish a confidential hotline for students to report incidents of intimidating and offensive statements made by the academics. The interruptions of conferences and other events were also to be addressed properly by the security staff. The report also recommended that the University should no longer allow Vari Hall, a central meeting place for students, to be booked for political purposes (that didn’t work – the two major Jew-hate fests this year took place in Vari Hall).
Needless to say, none of the recommendations of the commission were implemented. The intimidation continued and in 2010 the university proudly hosted the Israeli Apartheid Week.
In the fall of the same year York University hosted an event, which made its anti-Semitism national news.
In November the notorious British MP George Galloway toured Canada speaking to crowds of his lefty fans. Other than being a Marxist scumbag who speaks with fake Scottish accent, he is a virulent anti-Semite and staunch supporter of the Palestinian terrorism. He even personally delivered wads of cash to Hamas. York’s student organization and its president Krisna Saravanamuttu were happy to invite him.
Naturally, the Jewish community was outraged. A local rabbi named Aaron Hoch condemned the event and urged his congregation to protest against it. Swift reaction came from the highest place – none other than the University President himself – Mamdouh Shoukri – came to the rescue of his pet anti-Semites. He threatened the rabbi with court action if he tried to interfere with the event.
Mr. Shoukri loves donors – in the publicity shots he always grins like a Cairo bazaar merchant who just managed to swindle a hapless Swedish tourist. But the grin disappears when he deals with ordinary Jews.
The Galloway lecture went on as scheduled, but due to the publicity, the Jewish students organized a large protest, supported by many people from the outside.
All the people who protested were squeezed in a small space (not unlike a ghetto) surrounded by police and university security. However, at certain point the people, supposed to guard the order, let inside Krisna and a few of his Muslim and Tamil thugs, who tried to start a fight with the Jewish students.
After I posted my coverage of the event, I was contacted by students with the request to remove some of the pictures. There were rumours that the administration would try to expel those who protested against Galloway. The anti-Semites won.
A few months later the news site of York University proudly announced that one of their major benefactors – Seymour Schulich – the guy who donated $27 million, was to be inducted into the Canadian Business Hall of Fame.
On this occasion Mamdouh Shoukri congratulated him saying:
“For more than two decades, Seymour Schulich has been an incredible friend and ambassador of York University. He is a tireless advocate for students, and is committed to providing Canada’s future leaders with a world-class education.”
Looks like it is not that hard to be a hypocritical ass-kisser at York University – after helping a major anti-Semite to organize an event, which intimidated the Jewish students, Mamdouh shamelessly praises a Jew, who has no idea for what purpose his money is really used by the university. Probably that’s how things work in Egypt, from where Mamdouh came.
Still no implementation of the measures recommended by the commission…
The systematic intimidation continued. Earlier this year at another large rally in Vari Hall student organizations demanded that the police leave their campus. York University has been plagued for years by sexual assaults and other crimes, but the way to combat them (as the speakers said) is through fighting poverty and decolonization of “native lands”.
Such an approach is insane enough, but even weirder was the participation in the rally of the Jew-hating club “Students against Israeli Apartheid”. They were one of the key organizers and even displayed a huge sign.
I still can’t figure out what “Israeli apartheid” has to do with a campaign to get police off campus. I didn’t see any Israeli police officers there. It is not necessary to look for logic – the whole event was used just as another opportunity to stick it up to the Jews and show them they will always be the target.
Then in March came the decision of the student federation to demand boycott of companies, which deal with Israel.
At an even larger rally in Vari Hall, PLO supporters, fans of Tamil terrorism and ordinary commies celebrated that decision. Israel was openly called a racist state.
The very few Jewish students, who had the courage to show up and make their point, were pushed around and intimidated by both the security and the anti-Semitic participants (you can see the video here).
A very good insight into the mindset of those people came from one of the speakers. A Filipino girl in hijab gave a fiery speech against Israel. Obviously she wasn’t that bright, because she read the whole thing from a few sheets of paper and the only phrase uttered on her own was: “Free, free, Palestine!”
In the parts of the speech where she wanted to express emotion, her voice turned into hissing (similar to the reaction of a cranky cat when you try to steal a piece of fish from her bowl). It was a clever approach on behalf of the organizers to select a minority speaker, because in Canada you are automatically considered racist, if you criticize the views of a “visible minority”, no matter how vile or stupid they are.
And her views were beyond stupid. Her main point, which she repeated a few times, was that she didn’t feel safe on campus until the BDS measures were voted. It’s hard to understand that – there are no IDF patrols in York University and Israel has no presence whatsoever on campus. How can she be threatened?
If she has a clinical case of Israel paranoia, she may need to see a psychiatrist, but judging from the applauses, most of the participants shared her views. And that’s the problem – those people get worked up over a faraway country, which is barely noticeable on the map and has very limited opportunities of influencing anything in the world.
As a Filipina she may have to feel indignation over the actions of the Muslim terrorists in Mindanao, who have been slaughtering Christians for decades. Or maybe she and her friends could focus on China, whose genocidal actions in Tibet and Xingjian dwarf anything that Israel and the Arabs have ever done to each other. Instead, they choose to blackmail a country they have never been to, deriving their information from lefty propaganda, PLO pamphlets and Pallywood movie crap.
There is no law against being stupid and ignorant. The problem starts when those stupid and ignorant people are students expected to become Canada’s “future leaders” (in Mamdouh Shoukri’s words). When somebody forms an opinion, which is based on wilful disregard for all facts, it is not difficult to imagine what kind of a leader he or she would become.
And that’s the problem with anti-Semitism – regardless of the forms it takes, it is always based on irrational premises, which wilfully ignore the reality. Those people are afraid of a real discussion and the best thing they can do after running out of arguments is to shout: “Free, free, Palestine!” or other similar nonsense.
The worst part of this is that the ignorant young people have been always used by crafty politicians as pawns in their games. The devastating “Cultural Revolution” in China became possible because Chairman Mao convinced millions of young people that their ignorance is superior to the traditions of their country.
The same happens in York University. Today they voted to boycott Israel, tomorrow they may vote to expel all the “Zionists” who disagree with the boycott. Where have we seen this before?
Those idiots have the right to be stupid, but the Jewish donors have no obligation to finance their anti-Semitic stupidity.
It’s time to boycott York University.

Comrade David McNally and His Jew-Hating Friends from York University
At this week’s rally at York University, which was organized to celebrate the decision to destroy Israel by economic means, Professor David McNally was one of the keynote speakers. You can enjoy his speech in the video above.
He is well known leftist, who sincerely believes that his prescriptions to resolve the world’s problems by applying the mouldy Marxist tools, could really make all of us live better.
At the same time, he finds pleasure in hanging out at events with such devout fans of the Iranian Muslim extremism like Ali Mallah and Zafar Bangash.
While socializing with those people, he promotes heavily in his teaching issues and fields, which his Muslim buddies may find disturbing:
“I am teaching four courses this academic year. In the Fall Term 2012, I’ll be teaching a fourth-year and M.A. seminar entitled, “Marxism, Feminism and Poststructuralism” and a graduate seminar on volume one of Marx’s Capital entitled, “Appropriating Marx’s Capital, 1” (In Winter Term 2013 I will teach a third-year course, “The Political Culture of Race and Racism” and a graduate seminar, “Appropriating Marx’s Capital, 2” on volumes 2 and 3 of Capital.)”
McNally is a curious case, because even in the times of Brezhnev it was hard to find scholars from the communist countries, who truly believed in Marx’s hodgepodge. Most of those were in the field to get easy money from lectures delivered and books published with the understanding that it was illegal to criticize them.
Islam is not big on feminism and poststructuralism, yet Muslims value McNally. It may look like a paradox, but the answer is simple – both sides have a pathological hatred for Israel that unites them (at least temporarily).
It’s delightful to see that McNally is loved by his students, who give him high ratings. So what is the basis of those ratings?
“This Guy Rocks!!! Awesome Prof, Awesome Lectures.., No Exams!!! Easy to approach and talk to.. Total Lefty which is cool in my books”
“great prof. heavily leaning towards the left, but it’s possible to live with that. no tests or exams!”
If we leave aside the spelling, which shows that the York University education is hard to trust, the main attraction of Prof. McNally’s courses appears to be the lack of tests and exams. (The lectures apparently don’t enrich the students intellectually, because they still express themselves at a grade-two level.)
That’s the dream of the lazy lefty. A useless subject like political science is easy enough, but the “prof” makes it even easier by letting everybody pass. It’s the ultimate communist fairness, where everybody is equal; everybody deserves the same regardless of work or ability. And why not? That degree is useless anyway, unless you get some parasitic government job, like a Human Rights inquisitor with a license to hunt Christians.
Why are we paying for all that?

Video – Jewish Students Intimidated at a York University Rally
This is the first video in the series that will cover the highlights from a rally that took place at York University on March 27, 2013. Braving the hostility and the calls for economic destruction of Israel, a small group of Jewish students showed up to make their point.
That didn’t work well. They were shouted at by the loony participants and moved around by the security.
“Zionism-Israel-Racism” – a Simple Message from York University’s Jew-Hate Fest
It was another excruciating day at York University. Yesterday I attended there a rally organized by Students Against Israeli Apartheid, called to celebrate the student federation’s endorsement of the boycott of Israel and demand that the university administration comply with it. Plus, I read the local paper, praising John Greyson’s new tranny film project and convincing men to switch to women’s clothing.
Nothing summarized the spirit of the event than the huge sign, in front of which most speakers stood. It read: “Zionism-Israel-Racism”.
Equating these three words demonizes Israel and everybody, who lives there, in the same way that the classic anti-Semites do. Israel and the Jews are not that popular at that university – the unholy alliance of Muslims, lefties and union activists never misses the opportunity to show that in different ways – from hosting the notorious George Galloway to the annual Israeli Apartheid Week.
The organizers tried to soften the anti-Israeli impression by featuring Independent Jewish Voices, whose big sign was also hanging from the wall (apparently the Neturei Karta nuts were not available).
Adding that tiny group to the York University anti-Israeli Kool-Aid cocktail is not going to fool many people. The only thing that group proves is that not all Jews are smart.
The latest decision about the BDS campaign is not that different from what happened in the past. Even Excalibur (the YU paper, which can hardly be called pro-Israeli) reluctantly admits that Hillel and Hasbara said they were not notified officially about the meeting of the student federation (YSF), where the motion was voted. The devious leaders of YSF even made sure the vote took place during Passover, thus eliminating the Jewish students.
There was even a petition to adopt the motion signed by 5,000 students (out of 55,000). Of course, the opinion of 5,000 Muslims and lefties (if the petition is real) trumps the opinions of the rest.
Over 100 people attended the rally and spent the time yelling and chanting against Israel.
The rally didn’t attract just fans of the Palestinian terrorism… oops, “struggle for liberation” – there were several people from the Tamil student organization of York University, proudly waving Tamil Tigers flags.
Obviously, the news that the Tamil Tigers are a terrorist organization still hasn’t reached the university.
The decorations in Vari Hall put up by the organizers were consistent with their anti-Israeli sentiments. One of them called to “drop fees not bombs” – I had no idea that York University was bombing somebody.
Another sign expressed rage over Gaza – “the siege continues, Gaza, apartheid, Israel”. Well, they somehow forgot that Egypt is also blocking Gaza; its government even destroyed many of the underground tunnels. Imagine how terrible the Hamas government is, if even their Muslim Brotherhood godfathers don’t like them.
The lefty taste for weird expressions of their “ideas” was visible all over the place.
The lineup of speakers was impressive – with representatives from a few kooky organizations united by their disdain for the non-conforming Jews. I caught most of the speeches on video and will put the best moments of them on YouTube, but let me just present the people who spoke.
A fiery girl from YUBSA, the York University Black Students Association, trashed Israel for its racism. She compared it to South Africa. It was curious to hear this from an organization, which offers to its members discounts from black-owned businesses (isn’t that racist?).
My old friend Mariam, who some time ago put a lot of effort to promote Muslim prayers in a Toronto public school, was ecstatic about the BDS decision. She also demanded that her tuition fees should not finance Israel.
A guy from CUPE, the public employees’ union, proudly stated how several locals of the union are already boycotting Israel.
A person from Independent Jewish Voices (not sure if it was a man, woman or two-spirited) assured the participants that most of the progressive Jews fully support the BDS campaign. He or she didn’t specify the number of those progressive Jews.
An especially interesting lefty specimen was a hijab Filipina, who spoke against the Israeli racism in such a tense and rabid way that her speech sounded more like a dialogue with a rattlesnake. She bore close resemblance with Michelle Malkin, but I shouldn’t remind you that appearance often lies. I am going to put her in a separate video.
It is hard to believe that somebody would challenge that screaming and hostile crowd. However, a small group of Jewish students showed up to make their point against the blackmail. One of the students was brave enough to wear a large Israeli flag; another one was handing out flyers with information about Israel.
Needless to say, many of the people present were hostile and not interested in any new information about Israel. Soon enough it turned out that regardless of how quiet they were, the Jewish students were unwanted. They were sent to the upper level of the hall, most of which was also occupied by an anti-Israeli crowd, although smaller.
That wasn’t the only case of harassment – I am not particularly liked by that type of crowd and this time I even got special attention from it. A creepy guy began to follow me with a camera, taking many pictures. He had that strange grin, which could belong either to a leering homosexual or a common psychopath. At certain point he came very close to me. literally shoving his camera in my face and almost hit my lens, as you can see in the sequence below.
He did the same to one of the Jewish students – following him with the same leering grin.
Eventually, we complained to one of the security guys. His “helpful” answer was that he is allowed to take pictures and there is nothing they can do. Obviously, the concept of harassment doesn’t apply at York University when the targets are Jewish people. I hope that creep took enough pictures for the Kristallnacht rolodex of the Israeli apartheid activists.
Banishing the Jewish students to the less-populated upper level didn’t stop the harassment. Soon enough they were swarmed by hijabs and lefties, who blamed the Israeli Jews for committing genocide.
The attempt to explain that Israel has never been involved in genocide was scoffed at. When one of the students pointed out that the Jews themselves had been victims of genocide of 6 million, the guy in the picture asked: “Who is counting?”
Very soon the lefties ran out of arguments and continued in the old way – by shouting “Free, free Palestine!” and other nonsense.
The guy who argued more than the rest looked strangely familiar. I recalled that I have seen him before – he was at the Idle No More event at SUN NEW (which I covered in a video), where he argued with Ezra Levant and when he ran out of arguments started shouting: “Ezra, you can hide, but we can see your racist side!” It was strange statement, provided that Ezra had no intention of hiding.
Before that I had seen him helping the illegal Indian occupation in Caledonia with Tom Keefer. He was taunting Gary McHale during his arrest.
It’s a small world for those lefties.
After that incident, the Jewish students were asked to move again. At the new locations, one of them, fed up with the whole thing, started to chant “Free Gaza from Hamas!” Other than being factually correct, the call wasn’t louder or more provocative that the Israel-bashing going on at the lower level. Yet the security showed up again to tell the Jews to shut up.
At that moment, a few of the Jewish students urged the rest to stop, because if they continue the confrontation, the crowd below would continue to harass them after the rally. Yes, that was the classic Jewish defeatism – if you keep quiet, the Cossacks may miss your house. I got the same last month in a comment to my post “A Madhouse Called York University”. A supposedly Jewish student chastised me that by criticizing Muslims and lefties I am destroying the fragile peace between the Jews and them.
It is sad that many people forget how fruitless such defeatism has always been. All Jewish accomplishments (including the history of Israel) show that success comes from asserting yourself, not from lying low.
Judging from the atmosphere in York University, anti-Semitism is just one of the facets of their progressivist agenda. I picked there a copy of Excalibur, the local rag, which had on its front page a sympathetic coverage of the BDS motion.
Along with that there were crime reports – a pervert masturbated in front of girls in a lab; a black guy stole a girl’s phone at gun point. Last month they had a large student rally against the police, which called to fight crime on campus by anti-colonialist and anti-poverty measures instead. It looks like that didn’t work out.
In an editorial the Editor-in-Chief praised the freedom of her paper, which lets you use freely the word “fuck” (I wonder if an anti-abortionist would enjoy the same freedom). Then I saw a full-page article about the new film project of John Greyson. If you remember, that professor, who hates Israel with passion, made two years ago (on public dime) a short movie, which tried to discourage Justin Bieber from performing in Israel.
The article, titled “York film professor uses TTC platform for social issues: John Greyson’s “Murder in Passing” discusses transgender, transit, and transmedia issues”, tells us the plot of the new masterpiece. A bike courier is killed on Toronto public transit property and a tranny detective tries to solve the murder, tackling many tranny issues in the process. Remember folks – we, the voiceless taxpayers, and the gullible York University donors are paying for that tripe.
Another full-page article urges men to wear skirts as an ultimate fashion statement (and I am not talking kilts here). The article “Androgyny from the runway to the streets: Women don boyfriend-blazers, jeans, and shirts, but when will men want to shop in the women’s section?” tries to convince men that they need to transition from faggy fashion to a full-blown tranny wardrobe. The author ponders the question about when that tranny fashion for men will finally spill from the runway into the everyday life. I wonder how that would be promoted among the York University Muslims students.
Without any doubt, the madhouse called York University is getting even madder – and there is no relief in sight.

Israel Truth Week Vigil at York University – Day 2
On the second day of the vigil at York University we saw more people from Jewish organizations that came to support the event organized by Mark Vandermaas.
Members of JDL-Canada brought to the event by its director Meir Weinstein stood with representatives of the Hamilton-based Never Again Group.
There were also a few people who were not associated with the groups, but came to express their support.
The reception was favourable – many drivers honked as a sign of support. A few people stopped by to talk about the event. We had a long conversation with a York University student, who explained the situation at the institution. He described one of the main events of the recent Israeli Apartheid Week – a presentation by an Israeli student named Noa Shaindlinger. Despite her citizenship, that woman held outrageous anti-Semitic views, twisting facts to make the Palestinian terrorism look acceptable.
When confronted by the Jewish students, who found her presentation offensive, she simply brushed them off without bothering to provide facts about her statements.
Despite the fact that such presentations are disguised as criticism of Israel and the Zionism, the bitter experience of many Jews is that eventually the “anti-Zionism” criticism gets so broad that everybody who is not ashamed to be a Jew becomes a target.
The need to confront and expose such views makes events like the York University vigil even more important.

Israel Truth Week Vigil at York University – Day 1
Today was the first day of the Israel Truth Week Vigil at York University. Scheduled to begin after the Israeli Apartheid Week (which actually never ends in that institution infested with anti-Semitism) the vigil’s purpose is to focus our attention to the problems at YU and express solidarity with the Jewish students.
The miserable weather – it was cold and rainy most of the time – didn’t stop people from different organizations to show their support for Israel. The signs, which the organizer Mark Vandermaas brought, explained in clear and laconic way why the idea of “Israeli apartheid” is such a laughable concept, which is designed to provide cover for anti-Semitism.
Of course, that kind of inconvenient truth is not welcome at York University, so the event took place outside of the compound (at the Steeles sidewalk). I should mention again that while such an event is viewed with suspicion, about two years ago the university had no problem whatsoever hosting George Galloway, an anti-Semite and supporter of the Hamas terrorism.
The university security kept watching us the whole time and even took pictures. Other than a few dirty looks from Muslims and lefties driving by, there were no incidents. Mark even established contact with a representative of Hasbara, the Israel advocacy group, which has a chapter at YU.
Tomorrow the vigil continues (with the participation of the Canadian Patriotic Society and other groups). Let’s hope that more people show up to make their stand against the hate.

From JDL-Canada:
The Jewish Defense League Calls On Our Supporters To Attend An Emergency Fundraiser For Blogger Blazingcatfur
Radical Muslims are attempting to shut down Blazingcatfur.
Monday January 7TH, 7:30 PM
Toronto Zionist Centre, 788 Marlee Avenue

LET US START 2013 THE RIGHT WAY. BLAZINGCATFUR NEEDS OUR FULL SUPPORT
Everybody who is familiar with the Canadian blogosphere knows who Blazingcatfur is and what he stands for. It’s a disgrace that in our supposedly free country Muslim fanatics and their friends are still capable of suffocating free speech.
People like him must be supported.
Without them we soon may have an “Arab Spring”…
Please go to his post for more information about his accomplishments and struggles…
Toronto Anti-Israeli Rally with Swastikas, Saudi Flags and Mockery of the Holocaust
Yesterday the ragtag crowd of anti-Semites and Israel-haters gathered again in front of the Israeli Consulate in Toronto to make their opinions heard. Frankly, I expected many more people, but it looked like about 100 showed up. It was the usual mess of people with totally incompatible views united by their common hatred for the “Zionists”.
The messy spirit apparently affected some of those who covered the event, because Toronto Sun erroneously attributed an anti-Israeli speech to Bernie Farber (the former chief of the CJC). It turned out he wasn’t there and somebody looking like him was to blame for the mishap.
JDL-Canada organized a counter-rally on the opposite side. Unlike the hysterical supporters of the Arab terrorism, which displayed only Palestinian and other Muslims countries’ flags, the other group proudly waved Canadian flags along with those of Israel.
The most popular sign among the pro-Hamas crowd was the anti-Semitic poster of Latuff, which they recycle for almost every event.
Years ago they used the same poster for the Israeli Apartheid Week going back to at least 2009 (from where I got my copy shown below). Isn’t it time to become more creative?
Actually, some of the participants in the hate fest tried to be creative, bringing signs and posters they made themselves. With the good intention to document their creativity, I crossed the street to take a few pictures. I didn’t go too far, because that idiot Ali Mallah, who was obviously one of the organizers, approached me with one of his assistants (dressed like a roadside worker) and told me in no uncertain terms that my place is not here and I must leave immediately.
Looks like I have bad reputation among that crowd. I didn’t want to get into a discussion about freedom of speech and assembly, so I left, taking only one picture:
I also managed to get a leaflet with a declaration of the “Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Canada” condemning the “bombardment of Gaza”. It brought fond memories of my old country, where people like Mallah and his commies were in power, deciding who would live and who would die. I’ll never forget how after every Israel war we had to gather in the school gym to condemn the “Zionists” and vote for sending a vitriolic telegram to the Knesset and the Israeli Prime Minister…
Unbeknownst to Old Ali, there was another person who crossed the street with me and since he didn’t know her, she managed to sneak in. Ilana took several pictures and kindly allowed me to use them in this post. All the people with signs proudly posed for her. She took the picture at the top, and here are three more. Somebody tried to equate the Holocaust with the Palestinian question:
Then there was another somber girl with hijab telling us with two swastikas that Israel and the Nazis are one and the same (This looks like Hebrew, does anybody of the readers know what the sign means?):
And no anti-Israeli rally is complete without the obligatory embarrassed Jewish individual:
They also had jihadi signs, which matched beautifully with the swastikas and the Latuff poster:
At certain point the organizational genius of Ali Mallah figured out that walking around with swastikas won’t make a good case for the “liberation of Palestine”, so the signs were quickly “fixed”.
Another curious artifact was the call for both Israel and Assad to stop “targeting children”. How you can compare the self-defense of Israel with the deliberate murder by Assad’s troops of over 20,000 people (mostly Muslims) is nearly impossible to understand. However, rational thinking has never been a part of the worldview of the idiots who go to those events.
The anti-Israeli crowd had every imaginable flag, except the Canadian. You could see Turkish, Iranian, new Libyan, Azerbaijani, and of course Palestinian flags.
A curious addition were the Saudi flags, which I haven’t seen before at such events.
How the communists and socialists at the rally could co-exist with the citadel of Muslim barbarism, which treats women like animals, is beyond comprehension. The most hilarious moment of the rally was to see the blonde Jewish girl standing with her sign next to the veiled woman holding the Saudi flag:
Nothing says more loudly “I am a dumb self-hating Jew” than standing calmly next to the flag of a country, which was the first to exterminate its Jews and into which no Jew is ever allowed.
At the same level of monumental stupidity were the homosexual activists, who showed up to condemn the “Israeli apartheid”, although they wouldn’t last ten minutes in any of the Muslim countries whose flags we saw at the rally, including Gaza and the PLO areas.
Another funny episode was to see the Turkish flag carried by a veiled gargoyle. About 100 years ago Mustafa Kemal Ataturk risked his life to free the country from the backward Muslim barbarism and banned those ridiculous outfits. Now they are back under the fanatical clown Erdogan. And the Canadian government is more than willing to bring those fanatics here.
The other side was well organized, even though fewer people attended the counter-protest. Unlike the Saudi commies, they had a simple and coherent message, telling everybody that Israel is a country, which is there to stay and has no intention to self-destruct for the pleasure of the psychopaths, who hate it.
A big hit among the participants became the signs that Mark Vandermaas brought (the founder of the Israel Truth Week). After going through the news reports and videos about the Gaza clashes, he designed signs, which exposed the lies that the other side was more than willing to sell as truth.
So that was it – in a few hours the odd crowd of Jew haters slowly started to walk out of the space in front of the museum, still shouting obscenities at us. They were preparing for some kind of a march, which we didn’t follow.
Was it worth it to confront those idiots? I would say yes. At the CIJR conference last week (where Tarek Fatah distinguished himself in a peculiar way) one of the attendees said that such counter-protests don’t make sense because they are embarrassing. I think they are important – no matter how absurd the position of the anti-Semites is, it should be confronted, otherwise they will win, following the old maxim that if a lie is repeated many times many people will believe it.

JDL to Confront in Toronto the Fans of the Hamas Terrorism
Today JDL-Canada is going to confront in Toronto the supporters of the Arab terrorists from Gaza, who are organizing a terror “love-in” in front of the Israeli Consulate:
“JOIN THE JEWISH DEFENCE LEAGUE COUNTER PROTEST AT THE ISRAELI CONSULATE IN TORONTO
THURSDAY NOVEMBER 15TH, 6:00 PM
180 BLOOR STREET WEST
ANTI ISRAEL HAMAS SUPPORTERS ARE HAVING A PRO HAMAS PROTEST AT THE ISRAELI CONSULATE IN TORONTO, WE ASK SUPPORTERS OF ISRAEL TO BRING ISRAELI AND CANADIAN FLAGS

http://jdlcanada.wordpress.com/2012/11/14/operation-amud-anan-pillar-of-cloud-launched-to-punish-gazan-terror/
Comment by Blog Administrator: January 2009, “Cast Lead”, was Israel’s response to thousands of rockets launched into Israel by muslims in Gaza. JDL was the only Jewish Organization that counter-protested against the 10,000 JEW HATERS who came to Dundas Square who marched through down town Toronto saying “slaughter the Jews” and giving Heil Hitler Salutes.
Please, DO NOT BE COMPLACENT. Stand with Israel and publicly make your voice heard. “THEY” come to Canada and live among us and today may be another opportunity to bear witness to the truth of who is your bank manager, co-worker, variety store owner, fellow student, barber, professor, nurse, taxi cab driver, politician ….
Recently, several articles have been posted on the JDL Blog in regards to Muslims who live in Canada who have defaced and dishonoured our Remembrance Day Memorials. “
This is not the first time the anti-Israeli forces had shown their full support for the murderers from Hamas. In January 2009 in Toronto over 10.000 Muslim fanatics and their lefty doormats marched through downtown saying “slaughter the Jews” and giving the Heil Hitler Salute.
And of course the usual suspects are involved in sponsoring and endorsing the Jew-hate fest:
“This demonstration has been endorsed so far by:
Faculty for Palestine, International Solidarity Committee – Greater Toronto Workers Assembly, Latin American and Caribbean Solidarity Network, Toronto Students for Justice in Palestine, Canadian Muslim Union, International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network – Canada, Women in Solidarity with Palestine, Students Against Israeli Apartheid UTM, No One Is Illegal – Toronto, Queers Against Israeli Apartheid, Gaza’s Ark, Students Against Israeli Apartheid – UofT.”
The most entertaining part is that the anti-Israeli queers are involved again, supporting the Muslim savages, who would gladly kill them. It’s strange, because the homosexuals go out of their way to sell themselves as clever and educated people, yet they can’t recognize who is on their side.
On my recent trip to Israel I used the Lonely Planet guide to Israel. Despite their lefty bias, its writers report correctly many important facts that are essential to your safety. One of those facts (on page 430):
“Gay culture is extremely hidden in the Palestinian Territories, and hundreds of gay Palestinians have fled to Israel for their own safety (although this has become increasingly difficult with tight border controls).”
At the same time, the homosexual flag can be seen displayed in many places in Tel Aviv. However, for the anti-Semitic trannies and queers the facts mean nothing.
The rest of us can’t afford to live in such self-destructive delusion. Let’s raise our voices in defense of Israel!

Al-Quds or the Rally to Get Rid of the Jews in Jerusalem – Now on Video
Last week I wrote about the Al-Quds rally, which took place right in fron of the Ontario legislature in Toronto. There were quite a few pictures in the post, but, as always, a video gives you a much better idea about what happened. Watch and listen – and decide for yourself whther those people can ever adjust to Canada and its values:
Israel Haters Chant in Toronto: From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free
Yesterday the annual Al-Quds rally took place in Toronto. It drew large crowds of supporters and opponents. Although the tensions ran high, the event was generally peaceful, although the obvious bias of the police against the Jewish protestors was disturbing (you’ll see more pictures of that later).
Started in 1979 by Ayatollah Khomeini, the world-renowned expert on bestiality and sex with babies, the event is a (not so) clever way of promoting the idea of taking over Jerusalem and turning it into a Muslim-dominated city.
Every year thousands of anti-Semites march all over the world with the demand to get rid of the Jews in Jerusalem. The peculiar thing about the Toronto event is that it takes place on government property – right in front of the Ontario Parliament. That is a good reason to scrutinize the event, because the ideas expressed in speeches in signs for the most part disagree with the official position of Canada and the opinions of the most people.
Thanks to the efforts of certain Jewish organizations and a few bloggers (especially Blazingcatfur), last year’s rally received a decent coverage, revealing the calls for eliminating Israel as a “cancer”; we also saw how many fans of Khomeini and Hezbollah live among us.
This year even more organizations, critical of the event, got involved. JDL-Canada vowed to organize a counter-protest during the Al-Quds rally. Faced with such strong opposition, the organizers tried very hard to look like noble humanists, but that is a very hard task to accomplish when the main point of your event is the violent Arab takeover of Jerusalem.
While the Muslim leaders attempted to improve their image, they still tried to push their old ideas, but this time they found a few Jews to do the dirty work. It’s a fact that you can always find a few scumbags to do things that are contrary to their own interests (the Jewish police employed by the Germans in the Warsaw Ghetto come to mind). While in the ghetto the urge to survive could justify such acts (to a very limited degree), in democratic Canada there is no excuse to serve the anti-Semites.
Sandra Ruch, a Gaza boat activist, talked about her attempts to get into Gaza and break the blockade. She announced that now they are changing their tactics – the gang is going to build a boat IN Gaza, which is supposed to break the blockade from within by exporting goods. I wonder who’ll be interested in home-made rockets and suicide vests, because that’s what Gaza produces.
A guy from “Independent Jewish Voices” (a group that organizes tiny demonstrations in front of the Israeli Consulate) didn’t even want to mention the name “Israel”. He referred to it as the “Zionist project” expressing confidence that the Palestinians and the “progressive” people will put an end to that project. His organization strongly supported the return of all the phony refugees, which will create one Palestinian-dominated country, where both Jews and Arabs will live in harmony (yeah, right…).
That sad picture was completed with two rabbis from Neturei Karta, the organization, which simply wants to get rid of Israel. Their presence was so important, that the organizers flew them all the way from Montreal. The rabbis apparently enjoyed the “Down with Israel” sign. Later on, when the participants marched to the US Consulate, the Neturei Karta guys led the people. It was actually a pathetic sight – two exotic rabbis paraded like circus animals to show how open-minded the Muslims are (I am sure under other circumstances, the rabbis would get a totally different kind of treatment).
The useful Jewish idiots made the task of their Muslim masters much easier. Now the notorious Zafar Bangash looked like a humanist, when he boasted that so many people from different faiths attended the rally (the truth was that the vast majority were Pakistani Muslims). He didn’t miss the chance to attack Tarek Fatah, although he refused to mention his name, because during the Ramadan he is not supposed to utter obscene words (what a shining example of inter-Muslim tolerance!). He thundered against the “fascist” mainstream media, which tried to shut down his rally. Later, when the crowd moved to the US Consulate, we were treated to a second speech, in which he said that the USA is deeply in debt that it would collapse soon and so will Israel. Then the Arab countries could unite and attack Israel to “liberate” Palestine. Nice program… Didn’t they try the same scenario a few times?
Comrade Ali Mallah, the union activist and an NDP star, didn’t forget to attack JDL and other Jewish “hate groups” for criticizing the event. He made the crowd chant: “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!” All Muslims were very happy to oblige.
As I mentioned in the beginning, the majority of those who protested against the rally were Jewish. It’s no wonder considering what fate the Khomeinists are preparing for them. However, there was also a large number of Iranians, who knew first-hand what the Iranian shia regime means. Unfortunately, those people get very little attention in the mainstream media.
Apparently, the impact of the sea of hijabs at the rally had to be softened by bringing in more “diversity”. That brought in a large collection of misfits and strange people. There was a guy from the occupy movement:
More self-hating Jews:
The boycott and divestment “crowd”:
One could see may “works” of Muslim art depicting the evil Jews:
I hear that Che Guevara was the greatest friend that the Torah, the Bible and the Koran could ever have:
We even saw a guy from the tranny community. He said he was here to support his brothers and sisters from Palestine. I wonder for how many minutes he would survive in Gaza in this outfit:
And then there was the communist lady, who is at every event selling her propaganda for a buck a piece:
The guy who proudly displayed Khomeini’s picture:
The racial “superamacy” sign:
And just like in Gaza, the Muslim hate indoctrination is in full force in Ontario:
No Muslim rally would be complete without the “Palestinian genocide” propaganda:
As I mentioned in the beginning, the police took the right of the Muslims to spew hate very seriously. They turned a blind eye on several attempts by anti-Israeli haters to provoke confrontation. I saw a few women (some Muslim) trying to start a fight. Each and every time JDL had to handle the situation by inviting them to leave in a very polite manner. At the same time, the police were very rude to the anti-Khomeini side.
A very disgusting case involved a dog. There was that gentleman, who brought a beautiful mastiff to the park. Despite its huge size, the dog was friendly and gentle. Yet, as we all know, one of the most barbaric features of Islam is the hatred for dogs. In Western Europe Muslims often poison dogs. Obviously, the police were eager to please the Muslims. They arrested the man, even though as of this writing it is still legal to walk dogs (on a leash) in public parks in Canada.
Later I learned that the dog owner was given a choice to be charged or to leave the event immediately without charge. He left, which was a victory for Dalton McGuinty’s sharia police.
Later on, when the Khomeinists marched toward the US Consulate, I spotted a lone cyclist carrying the Israeli flag. He was also wearing an IDF t-shirt, which made him suspicious to the sharia police. They followed him and stopped him several times. In language that wasn’t exactly polite, they demanded that he get away from the road, although he wasn’t doing anything illegal.
At the Consulate, a few people interviewed him about what happened.
To show who is in charge, the Muslims used the old Gaza tactics by bringing a shield of kids with signs to surround “the Jews”, while the adults kept taunting them from behind.
The rally ended with a warning from the leader that the Muslims should leave orderly in groups, because the Jewish “thugs” may try to get them.
It’s “nice” to know that anti-Semitism is live and well in Canada and nobody gives a damn about that…

FSWC Condemns the Approval of the Anti-Semitic Rally at Queen’s Park
The following is a press release of Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center about the Al Quds rally at Queen’s Park, scheduled for August 18, 2012:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center Says Approval for Antisemitic Rally by Hate Group at Queen’s Park is Offensive to Canadians
Toronto, August 8, 2012 – Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies (FSWC) is deeply disappointed to learn that approval has been given by Ontario’s Sergeant at Arms for the virulently anti-Israel, pro-Iran al Quds Committee to hold an anti-western, antisemitic hate rally at Queen’s Park later this month.
“Allowing this Committee to import the hateful dogma of the despotic Iranian regime to the grounds of the Ontario legislature is an insult to all Canadians, who are offended by a group of fanatics who pervert our cherished ideal of free speech to spout venom and to promote a profoundly anti-western, anti-democratic theology,” said Avi Benlolo, President and CEO of FSWC. “It is truly unfortunate that the principles of tolerance and inclusion do not extend to the target of their unbridled hatred – Canada’s Jewish community, which remains astonished that such groups are welcome in our public spaces.”
Sergeant at Arms Dennis Clark refused to discuss the antisemitic hate speech so clearly in evidence at last year’s Queen’s Park rally, when anti-Israel speaker Zafar Bangash shouted “”Inshallah I see that day when we, the Muslims, will march on Palestine and liberate Palestine . .. under Islamic law,” nor would he list the conditions by which the rally organizers must abide.
FSWC considers the endorsement of hate to be a matter of public safety and will continue to monitor the situation and pressure police, media, politicians and community leaders to review the laws that permit hate and the support of repressive Iranian-style shariah law free reign in Ontario’s public spaces.
“This is no longer a debate about free speech vs. hate speech,” said Mr. Benlolo. This is an insult to all Ontarians and a simple matter of right and wrong.”

JDL-Canada to Confront the Queen’s Park Al Quds Rally
Just like they did it last year, next week a bunch of Muslim fanatics and terrorist supporters are going to hold their “Al Quds” rally on government property. The whoring government of Dalton McGuinty obviously enjoys the extremists’ love – despite the videos of the last year’s event, showing people openly preaching hatred and anti-Semitism, nobody in his gang found it necessary to object to a second round of hatred.
It’s not just McGuinty – the so-called “conservative leader” Tim Hudak also diligently keeps his vow of silence over this issue. What adds even more mystery to the event is the fact that the identities of the organizers are kept secret.
However, you don’t need to be a psychic to tell who is going to attend the rally. The gentleman pictured above would surely attend. Zafar Bangash is one of Canada’s most faithful fans of the murderous Iranian mullahs. He is convinced that the Iranian theocracy is the perfect Muslim state. I am sure he’ll be there in the “good” company of like-minded fanatics.
JDL-Canada invites everybody, who is against the spread of the Iranian brand of Muslim extremism in Canada, to attend their counter-protest:
JDL Counter Protest
Expose and Confront the Al Quds Day Terror Supporters
Saturday (Shabbat) August 18,
2 pm- 4 pm
Queens Park, (University Avenue and College Street) Downtown Toronto
Join the JDL Counter Protest to Expose and Confront the Al Quds Day Terror Supporters. These are the groups that support Al Queda Terrorist Omar Khadr. Now is the time to take a strong stand. It should be understood thatAl Queda is a banned Terror group in Canada and all persons and groups that stand with Omar Khadr have disregarded that Terror listing. We must demand that support for Al Quedais a criminal offence in Canada.
United Anti-Semitic Church of Canada
Recently through the newsletter of the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Centre I learned about a document of the United Church of Canada dealing with their Israel/Palestine policy. The report is supposed to be presented in August 2012 to the General Council. FSWC criticized it as insensitive and deceptive on many issues.
That didn’t surprise me – there were not many points in the report that the church didn’t make before. About two years ago I lost whatever little respect I had for them. In October 2010 the Trinity-St. Paul United Church in Toronto hosted an event with George Galloway, a British MP. Other than being a slimy creature who got caught misusing charity money, he is also a vile anti-Semite (masking his position not that successfully as anti-Zionist), and open supporter of the Hamas terrorists (he collected money for them) and a devout defender of the theocracy ran by the mad mullahs of Iran.
I had to endure the event to record his speech. I covered it in detail in a blog post.
He openly advocates the destruction of Israel by flooding it with over 7 million Palestinian “refugees”. He is confident that we have to collaborate with Hamas, because they are the legitimate Palestinian government. He also thinks that he is not an anti-Semite, because he admires the “greatest” Jew – Karl Marx (I wonder if he has read what Marx wrote against the Jews in “The Jewish Question”).
Together with the church officials, they had in the church all kinds of lefties, Muslim PLO supporters and other sympathizers of the Palestinian terrorism. In the document that I am going to cover below, the writers mention several times the importance of the Christian love.
I wonder how Christian love could fit with the hostile slogans and signs, displayed in the church.
“Stop Terrorism, Boycott Israel & USA”:
Or the assortment of the Palestinian flag, the “Troops Out Now” sign with bloody stains, and the wordy call to “Free Palestine! End Israeli Apartheid! Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions.”
The place looked more like a club of the International Socialists; there was not much of Christianity left in the desecrated church. They may argue that they just provided a venue for Galloway, but giving space in a church to hatemonger like him is inexcusable. I don’t recall the Catholic Church in Germany ever hosting an Adolf Hitler speech event.
I hope this old event helps you understand who the UCC’s darling is (it’s not Israel, that’s for sure).
The following paragraph from the beginning of the report (dealing poetically with the Holy Land) could give you a hint:
“…this land has also been shaped by an awareness of the sacred and transcendent. Whether it is the night journey of Muhammad, the vision of Solomon, or the prayer of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, here heaven and earth have come close to each other.”
Notice the order of the religions – first comes Islam, THEN Judaism and Christianity is last. Jesus Christ lived and preached there; however, putting the Muslim religion before the Jewish is very odd. The only link Islam has with the Holy Land is the hallucination of Mo, the medieval goat-herder who never set foot there, that he flew to Jerusalem, but his delusion is enough to ignite his followers to demand full control over the area.
Meanwhile, not only did the Jews have holy sites there, but their own state existed in those lands for thousands of years. It’s ridiculous to compare both claims.
Then we read:
“Israel came into existence following recognition of the horrors of the Holocaust. There was wide support throughout the world for the creation of a Jewish homeland.”
Yes, the old tripe resurfaces again – the Jews got their state from the World War II victors as an act of charity for the butchery they were subjected to. Not a word about the Zionist movement in the XIX century, about the Balfour Declaration of 1917 and all the international decisions, agreements and practical steps taken long before WWII that eventually led to the restoration of the Jewish state.
As if the belittling of the Jewish history is not enough, the wise men of the UCC make things worse as they invent a glorious Palestinian history:
“It is also unacceptable to question the existence of a Palestinian people. To suggest that their identity has been recently manufactured or that the true Palestinian homeland is elsewhere ignores history. Palestinians have lived in Palestine for millennia.”
Well, they haven’t… The records of historians and travellers show that what was known as Palestine (name given to the land by the Romans after they expelled the Jews) was barren land of deserts and swamps, which didn’t exactly inspire the Arabs to move in there in droves, so their presence was never significant. The Jewish immigrants from the early XX centuries were those who cultivated that place through hard work and dedication. Only after the arable land became a fact, did the Arabs start to move en masse into what was supposed to be the future Jewish state as planned under the mandate entrusted to Great Britain (and the British sabotaged the process by silently approving the Arab immigration and restricting the influx of Jews through the White Paper of 1939, which had catastrophic consequences for the European Jewry). But of course those are only facts that mean nothing from the United Church’s preconceived point of view.
Things get even worse when the UCC explains its reasons for criticizing Israel on page 6 of the document:
“The working group also takes seriously charges that church actions disproportionately criticize Israel in comparison to other countries in the region or other situations globally. The working group believes that Israel can and should be held to a higher standard than surrounding non-democratic countries or authoritarian regimes. It is precisely because of Israel’s close identification with democratic ideals that it needs to be challenged on its policies around the occupation.”
This is one of the most entertaining parts – a tiny nation, surrounded by Muslim barbarians whose only goal is to destroy it, is required to act from a “high moral ground” as defined by the United Church people. It is the same mean approach, which is supposed to induce guilt in the Western countries, so that they can keep wasting money on useless third-world projects.
In the case of Israel the underlying point is that although somebody is trying to kill you, the deranged church people expect that you act with dignity and never resist – so when you perish, UCC can say “Wow, they all died with dignity”. We have seen this before – that’s how many Jews in WWII acted and now they are dead. I am sure if given a second chance, they would act very differently, just like the founders of Israel in 1948 resisted the Muslim invasion and built a prosperous state.
UCC won’t let Israel even defend herself. Here is what they have to say about the wall:
“There are strong arguments that security alone does not justify the location of the barrier inside Palestinian territory; if security were the only motivation, the barrier could be constructed on the Green Line. The working group is also not convinced that the separation barrier was solely responsible for ending suicide bombings. Suicide bombings ceased even though many sections of the wall remain incomplete. Other factors likely led to the cessation of suicide bombings, such as strict measures the Palestinian Authority implemented against militants, a ceasefire, and a widespread consensus in Palestinian society that violence has been counterproductive.”
The authors contradict themselves – they just said that Israel was surrounded with authoritarian and non-democratic countries. There is absolutely no evidence that those countries, after a collective meditation, found a nobler approach to Israel. And the notion that the “Palestinian society” found a consensus against violence is laughable. Israel reduced the violence by being stronger and taking all measures to limit the access of the militants to the country (the only language the Arabs understand).
“The United Church of Canada has consistently condemned all acts of violence by all parties in this conflict. Because of this position, the United Church has chosen not to comment on specific incidents of violence on either side over the past few years. Statistics about deaths and injuries are available and show a large and disproportionate impact on Palestinians.”
The church uses another mean trick to present Israel as the bad side. There isn’t a single word about the fact that the Palestinians have always initiated violence. Nothing about the daily anti-Semitic propaganda by the Palestinian media and the vitriolic indoctrination of school children with the ideas to destroy Israel.
And that’s not all – UCC attacks the Jewish character of Israel, brings up the Palestinian refugees “right to return” while keeping silent about the right of the Jewish refugees from the Arab countries to compensation.
Make no mistake – UCC is no more the church of sweet old ladies and compassionate Christians, it has been taken over by lefty political extremists to whom George Galloway is the new Messiah. Their mind-boggling worship of Islamic fundamentalism is unlikely to bring new people to the churches.
Years ago, in Canada we had a chain of department stores called Woolco. In 1994 they went out of business and were bought off by Walmart. I see the same in the future of the UCC – one day Saudi Arabia will buy all the empty UCC buildings and convert them into mosques. I am sure the General Council would cheerfully approve the move.

The Saddest Anti-Israeli Rally in Toronto
This was a busy week for the anti-Israeli “forces” in Toronto. Last Tuesday I stumbled upon their “nakba” rally, whose attendance was nothing to brag about, considering all the pro-Palestinian “luminaries” who spoke at it. It was painful to watch such a lacklustre event organized by a movement that claims millions of supporters in the civilized countries.
I thought things could not get worse, but the reality proved me wrong. Earlier today I came across another protest event at the Israeli Consulate, which was beyond sad. Unlike the “nakba” event, which included quite a few Arabs, this one was dominated by white Westerners (probably a good part of them Jewish), with just one token Arab guy holding a “Canada Recognize Palestine!” sign (I had to use my phone to take the pictures, sorry for the quality).
Other than calling for an end to “Israeli apartheid”, they also had a sign announcing: “Israeli Consulate Is Here”, needed just in case if the terrorists or the revolutionary masses of the world want to storm it. However, at the time nobody looked interested in that information.
It was really sad to look at those people, who wandered around like zombies, who have long ago outlived their glorious years, the 1960’s. Now they desperately try to find another cause that could make them feel alive again. I would suggest to them that boycott and destroy Israel is not that cause – recycling old Fatah terrorist clichés and tired communist propaganda is not going to create a mass movement. Those elderly ladies would be much better off if they retire the revolutionary rhetoric and concentrate on raising their grandkids (little bit of knitting and crocheting on the side won’t be bad either).

Palestinian Nakba Mini-Rally in Toronto (with the Usual Suspects)
The pin above (sold at the event) summarizes the nature of today’s nakba rally, which took place across the Israeli Consulate in Toronto. I had no idea it was scheduled for Tuesday. Compared to the last year’s noisy event, the attendance was much more modest.
As usual, the event was organized by the usual strange bedfellows –the International Socialists (who are actually hard-core communists), Palestine House, the Israeli Apartheid Week crowd, and the Hamas-supporting “celebrities”.
I saw the weird lady, who always carries a stack her comrades’ publications at such events. As always, she tried to sell me a communist paper for a buck:
The organizers brought a lot of signs (among which I saw “Zionism=Racism” and another one condemning the “racist state of Israel”) but they were wise enough to leave them near the benches in front of the museum and stick to their immediate demands:
Of course, the Palestine House guys were there. At far left you see one of their officials, who, at the opening night of this year’s IAW, delivered a speech promising that they are going to march next year into Israel and “liberate” Jerusalem and the whole Palestine:
Soon after him arrived the incredible Khaled Mouammar, the former president of the Canadian Arab Federation. He was definitely happy to be among his lefty buddies:
I also spotted in the small crowd Ali Mallah, the anti-Israeli activist (and BCF nemesis). He managed to combine in his demeanor both the pride of his influence over the movement…
…and irresistible charm:
As I was standing there, an aging communist lady next to me pointed at a young woman and explained with excitement that she was Eva Bartlett, Canada’s Rachel Corey, who often travels to Gaza to protest against the Jews and serve as a human shield when they attack the Palestinians (her husband is a Gaza Arab).
Eva’s face looked strangely familiar – only later I realized that I saw her at the opening night of this year’s IAW.
She was one the main speakers, who brought some videos depicting the plight of the Palestinian people in Gaza. Those films were some of the crudest examples of Palliwood’s fake propaganda, which showed false confrontations and shootings conceived and executed so clumsily that they could make an impression only on the die-hard lefty dimwits.
Miss Israeli Apartheid Week herself opened the event:
Then Khaled grabbed the microphone and switched to his usual repertoire of Israel bashing and Jew-hate rhetoric thinly disguised as an attack against Zionism.
At that point I left. I think it wasn’t only me who felt disappointed – maybe if Miss IAW, NDP Ali, anti-Zionist Khaled and Hamas Eva had something of value to say, they would have attracted many more people of their own kind. Hopefully, next year they may come up with something more entertaining…

JDL, Shimon Peres and the Fight against Islamic Terrorism
Earlier today JDL-Canada organized another protest against the planned return to our country of the convicted terrorist and murderer Omar Khadr. The protest took place in front of Toronto’s Sony Centre, where the President of Israel Shimon Peres was scheduled to speak.
Unlike the last week’s protest, which went practically unnoticed by the Muslims, today we saw a crowd of Arabs and lefties across the street.
They came up with the marvellous idea to seal up their mouths with duct tape, which kept things quiet for a while, but that didn’t last.
It was easy to spot in the crowd our old “friends” from previous pro-Muslim rallies. There was Miss TDSB, who last summer organized the event in support of the Muslim prayers in the Valley Park public school:
The bearded guy from the same event was there as well, although this time he chose to wear Western clothes:
The organizers of the Israeli Apartheid Week didn’t miss the opportunity to show up either:
And what “Palestinian” event would be complete without the useful lefty idiots? Here is one of the five or so protesters, who hang out every Friday in front of the Israeli Consulate:
Somebody from that self-hating group even brought a “Jews against Israel’s War Crimes” sign:
As I said, things were relatively quiet for a while, but the arrival of Shimon Peres and his entourage put an end to the silence.
The Arabs started to scream, chant and shout. After observing them for a while, JDL responded in a way that was more humorous than angry:
The “Palestinians” didn’t miss the opportunity to state clearly their political preferences. The sign calling for release of the child killers and terrorists from the Israeli jails was prominently displayed, although it called those people “political prisoners”:
They didn’t forget the flag with the Temple Mount mosque, which clearly showed what they intend to do with Jerusalem (I wonder what the Arabic words on the flag mean):
Everybody had a great time (at least those on the JDL side). Arabs are not allowed to have good time, otherwise they may offend Old Mo. There is one good thing about looking at those angry people – it keeps you on your toes and never lets you forget what the real intentions of those people are.

JDL-Canada and Friends – Standing Tall for Jerusalem
5 If I forget you, Jerusalem,
may my right hand forget its skill.6 May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth
if I do not remember you,
if I do not consider Jerusalem
my highest joy.7 Remember, Lord, what the Edomites did
on the day Jerusalem fell.
“Tear it down,” they cried,
“tear it down to its foundations”!Psalm 137
When these beautiful verses were recorded, thousands of years ago, the ancestors of the savage warmonger who created Islam were illiterate Bedouins who roamed the deserts. That’s why it was odd that Jews from Toronto and their friends had to confront Muslims claiming Jerusalem as their own…
The same Jerusalem, which is the eternal capital of the Jewish State… Jerusalem – the most Jewish of all Jewish cities…
Apparently, that’s the sign of our messed up times – earlier this year, following the initiative of the Arab terrorists from Hamas, a million people were called to march to Jerusalem to reclaim it for the Arabs. As it happens very often, history repeats – Hamas is willing to do to Jerusalem what the ancient Edomites did to it.
However, there is a slight difference. While in antiquity Israel wasn’t able to confront the mighty invaders and avoid the Babylonian capture, now the country is more than well prepared to deal with its enemies.
And I suppose that most of the Arabs and the lefties knew that and didn’t follow blindly the Hamas insanity. As of this writing, it appears that the march to Jerusalem has been an utter failure. Not many idiots approached the Israeli borders and even fewer tried to cross them.
The same happened in Toronto – instead of the hundreds of Arabs and their lefty buddies, who were supposed to show up at the Israeli Consulate, we only saw a few dozens of the usual assortment of the standard characters – hippy leftovers from the 1960’s, a few students desperately trying to join a group that likes them and very, very few Arabs.
The Jewish side was a little bit bigger, but when you consider the fact that the 14 million Jews in the world are up against over a billion Muslims, you may wonder why the Muslim cause’s supporters were underrepresented.
Other that the members of JDL-Canada, the rally included people from different backgrounds, who wanted to support the right cause.
You could see members of the Hindu Advocacy group:
Even the activists from Caledonia joined the rally. Just like the Jews, they have a first-hand experience in confronting extremists (in their case the extremists act with the provincial government’s blessing). I saw Merlyn Kinrade, the hero veteran from the 1956 Suez Canal peacekeeping mission, and Mark Vandermaas (from the Caledonia Victims Project) who recently started the highly successful Israel Truth Week, aimed at confronting the blackmail of Israel:
Later they were joined by Gary McHale from CANACE, one of the major moving forces of the fight for justice in Caledonia:
The participants were not shy about stating their opinions. Their signs clearly explained why the ridiculous Hamas claims were wrong:
In a short speech, JDL’s Director Meir Weinstein condemned the intended aggression and clearly explained that Israel is not going to sit and take the abuse. He also emphasized the constant efforts of the Muslim extremists in Canada to undermine the Jewish community. However, thanks to the vigilance of the Jews and the fair policies of the government, those extremists are not going to achieve their goals. Many of their organizations are a front of the Muslim Brotherhood, which tries to gain the same control in Canada as in the Islamic countries. They all will eventually fail, just like the anti-Jewish Palestine House, which was recently defunded by the Federal Government.
The confrontation was more or less civilized. The only odd thing was that when the Jewish side played the Canadian National Anthem, the “progressives” across the street and their Arab friends didn’t show much of respect – they kept hissing, booing and shouting. But that’s not a surprise – as Karl Marx used to say, “The proletariat has no homeland”, so hating Canada is just a part of their lives…

JDL to Protest the Global March to Jerusalem
Time: Friday, March 30, 2012, 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm
Place: Israel Consulate 180 Bloor Street West, Toronto
The Jewish Defence League is calling on all people of good will to defend freedom and stand outside all Israel Embassies and Consulates on March 30. Raise the flag of Israel high and proclaim your support for battle against Radical Islam.
Minister Jason Kenney – Statement on “Israeli Apartheid Week”
The Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, issued the following statement on ‘Israeli Apartheid Week’:
Like many Canadians I am concerned with the rise of anti-Israel activities on campuses across Canada, culminating in the so-called ‘Israeli Apartheid Week’ (IAW), which is often promoted in a manner that disregards the rights and safety of Jewish students and professors.
Universities are meant to offer an environment in which academic discourse can take place freely. Jewish faculty and students have the right to engage in this debate without feeling the need to conceal their identity, or to self-censor.
The irony of this week cannot be overlooked. While singling out the only liberal democracy in the Middle East for condemnation, the organizers of IAW ignore Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad’s brutal slaughter of his own people and the suppression of basic human rights in many countries around the globe.
Debate over Israeli policy is legitimate and encouraged through academic dialogue. However, there is a point at which well-intentioned debate is overrun by hatred and intolerance, creating a toxic environment that prevents meaningful dialogue on important issues from taking place.
;The organizers of Israeli Apartheid Week use the cover of academic freedom to demonize and delegitimize the State of Israel. In reality, this week is nothing more than an unbalanced attempt to paint Israel and her supporters as racist. This week runs contrary to Canadian values of tolerance, mutual respect, and understanding.
As Minister for Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, I call on all Canadians to reject anti-Semitism and all forms of racism, discrimination and intolerance, which are unacceptable and completely contrary to Canada’s fundamental values.
Michael Coren Interviews Mark Vandermaas and Stuart Laughton
Yesterday the Sun TV talk show host Michael Coren interviewed Mark Vandermaas and Stuart Laughton, focusing on their initiative named “Israel Truth Week”. Other than being very articulate and speaking with a true conviction, they impressed me with their sophisticated suit look. I said sophisticated, because so far I had seen them wear only the bare minimum of simple clothes that would make it easier to get into the police van when they get arrested.
I guess if they appear in those suits at DCE, the OPP and Ruby “The Red Riding Hat” would be less willing to detain them (don’t mind me, I am just fantasizing).
The point is that from all gentiles confronting the Israeli Apartheid Week, those two are some of the most qualified. Being on the receiving end of police indifference and aboriginal brutality, they have a first hand experience of apartheid – in Caledonia, where McGuinty the Coward gifted government land to a gang of junkies, banning everybody else – whites, Jews, Blacks – from setting foot on it, access based on race is a painful reality.
Comparing Mark and Stuart’s experience with the experience of the Arab citizens in Israel, who can go wherever they want, may show the absurdity of the IAW. Unfortunately, the idiots who maintain that event are far beyond saving, so let’s hope that the remaining rational people in Canada learn from Mark and Stuart what real apartheid looks like.
IAW Opening Night – the Same Hate, Only More Boring
The 8th Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) started last night with an opening event at the University of Toronto. It was much less enthusiastic than last year when the hall was packed and they didn’t even have seats for everybody. This year they attracted a much smaller audience, probably about 70 people, in a half-empty hall, including the same elderly people, who want to experience again the passion of the 1960’s, with a few progressive students; not many Muslims and only one hijab.
Even the speakers’ level was downgraded – last year they had Judy Rebick from Rabble and Abigail Bakan, who is a real professor at U of T. This year they invited some fringe characters to speak (and I couldn’t even find Rabble among the endorsers).
Still, the fighting spirit was there. In the short movie they showed in the beginning (the same we saw last year) the statement was clear:
“When people fight the occupation, it is not terrorism, it’s resistance.”
Just like the last year, the event started with badmouthing Canada as a “colonial apartheid country”, which exists thanks to the theft of land and resources from the “indigenous peoples”. And the girl, who said that, urged all in the audience to work diligently to decolonize Canada. (They can easily do that if they just leave the country.)
Then they announced that (for some strange reason) this year’s IAW emphasis will be on fighting the global imperialism. And like in a nightmare from the last year, they started by peddling the old petition about divesting from Hewlett-Packard, Northtrop, BAE and Lockheed Martin for their involvement in Israel. Over 100 faculty members already signed it (wasn’t the number the same last year?) and even luminaries like Judy Rebick supported it. Then they played exactly the same propaganda movie about the companies we saw last year.
Then we had to listen to an address by a representative of Palestine House, which wasn’t announced in the schedule (I have a separate post for that speech).
The first speaker was Justin Podur. According to the information about him, he is a Toronto-based writer and editor, who writes on political conflicts and social movements, primarily for Z Communications.
He started by saying that the recent statement of Norman Finkelstein about the BDS campaign was to be accepted as a friendly challenge to do a better job. (As you may know, Finkelstein, one of the staunchest supporters of the Palestinian cause, recently said that the Boycott-Divest-Sanction movement is a failure, it scares many people, who see it as an attempt to destroy Israel. This view is far from being a “friendly challenge”.)
Podur stated that his presentation will be a response to Finkelstein’s statement. It wasn’t clear what Podur’s real intent was, because he said that he would present the forced nature of apartheid through a series of maps. The first map showed a settlement in South Africa, where the area was divided between white people, Indians, and different African tribes. The division was imposed and maintained by force.
Then he showed a map of the railroad system of North America. Pointing at it, he said that because of their greed, in the 19th century the capitalists of Canada refused to use the US railways to transport their goods. Instead, they built railways in Canada, which ran East to West, destroying forests and lands of “indigenous people”. (This was one of the most idiotic statements I’ve heard for ages – how are the goods to be delivered within Canada, if the railways are only in the USA?)
After that we saw a map of the forests in Canada, combined with the Indian land claims – the mining, he said, was destroying the forests and ruining the chances of “native self-determination in the future” (not a word about who is going to cover the native welfare payments, if no industry is developed).
Then finally we saw an Israeli map, showing the settlements and the Arab areas in the West Bank. The “apartheid” should be ended by dismantling the settlements and allowing all “refugees” to return. Podur even had a solution to the return problem, which supposedly won’t affect Israel that much, developed by Salman Abu Sitta, an Arab architect and sociologist (you can read his book at plands-dot-org, sorry, don’t want to give him a link). Sitta works with 1998 numbers, which estimate the number of the refugees at about 5,000,000. That includes both registered with UNWRA and unregistered. Since the Palestinians are the only refugee group that constantly grows by both births and adoptions, the number now must be much larger.
Sitta says that the “refugees” can move to areas, where there are not that many Jews, like Negev and Galilee, and also around the cities and the towns. That would create a harmonious transition. I wonder if the author is out of his mind. That plan would’ve worked if people were chess pieces, but they are living beings, whose actions are determined by upbringing, beliefs and convictions. Doubling the population of Israel overnight with people, who have been exposed all of their lives to terrorist and fanatical ideologies, is not going to bring anything good.
The next speaker was a real Israeli. Dalit Baum, a lesbian “queer activist” was a “feminist scholar and teacher in Israel, who has been teaching about militarism and about the global economy from a feminist perspective in Israeli universities”. God save Israel, if most of the teachers there are like her.
First of all, every time she mentioned Israel, she called it “Israel-Palestine”, a sure sign of the one-country solution supporter.
She started off by bragging how she and other activists used to go for protests to the West Bank, where they were regularly shot at and sprayed with water by IDF. After going back to Israel, they suffered internally from having that “Jewish privilege”. Going back to Israel was probably better, because with her very lesbian look, I am not sure how long she would’ve survived among the Muslim fanatics in the West Bank.
She spoke at length about the apartheid and the BDS movement, but failed to provide convincing examples of success. She gave a complicated example with Lev Leviev, one of the richest Israelis – a bunch of BDS activists picketed his diamond store in New York. As a result, one of the public construction companies doing work in the West Bank, that he had interests in, didn’t receive credit and had to curtail its activities and drop projects in the area. However, that didn’t affect his private companies operating in the West Bank.
Then there was more confusion – the occupation costs billions of dollars, mostly for security and for the wall, but at the same time not only Israel, but also the Palestinian Authority benefit from those expenses. Israel was accused of stopping the exports from Gaza and destroying the industrial sector in the West Bank (did it even exist?). In her words, the purpose of the “Zionist project” was to reduce the “industrial competition from the indigenous people”.
The major strategy of the movement is to make the 20 richest families in Israel suffer financially. So far, the BDS people have been successful in driving one Belgian bank out of Israel. The final purpose is to turn Israel into an international pariah, the same way South Africa was treated years ago.
That woman left me wonder – how is it possible to hate your country that much?! And how could she be so ignorant? If the Arab fanatics ever take over in Israel, “queer Jews” like her will be the first to be exterminated. Obviously, progressive liberal arts education causes total mental meltdown…
The last speaker, Eva Bartlett, was presented as “an independent Canadian activist and freelance journalist who has spent long periods in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip volunteering with the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) and reporting from the ground.”
She brought quite a lot of pictures and video material, designed to prove Israel’s “state-sponsored terrorism” in Gaza.
She basically described the Israeli army patrolling around Gaza as a bunch of merry sadists, who shoot Palestinians for fun. There is a safety zone supposed to be 300 meters, but the army arbitrarily increased it up to 2 km in certain areas of Gaza. Supposedly, the farmers close to that area are often shot at. She had a movie to illustrate the situation.
The footage showed a group of “farmers” cutting grass. Among them was a Western activist with a bright orange jacket (the kind that the roadside workers wear) holding a speaker and observing the area. Suddenly, we heard something sounding like shots. Some of the people jumped, but none of them ducked or lied down, which would be the natural reaction. Even the person holding the camera didn’t change position. The activist started to yell through the speaker, facing the border: “Don’t shoot, we’re farmers!” The “shooting” continued, with all the people running around in circle. Suddenly, one of them screamed and dropped to the ground, supposedly he was hit. However, the cameraman didn’t go next to him to show the wound, but kept showing the others, who were screaming. (Wouldn’t showing a close up of the wounded person be a nice propaganda move?)
It was just another example of the Palliwood propaganda – a movie that can easily fool only dedicated lefties, who desperately want to believe in the evil of the “bloodthirsty Jews”.
Her pictures of the “mass atrocities” in Gaza didn’t show anything on a mass scale either. Then we saw a few destroyed buildings, which she said were razed by army bulldozers for no reason.
And that was the common thread joining all the presentations – the Zionists monsters tortured and mistreated the saintly Palestinians for no reason.
Not a word that the checkpoints exist to stop Arab terrorists from entering Israel.
Not a word that the wall stops suicide bombers from blowing up children in Israeli cafes and discos.
Not a word that the IDF patrols around Gaza because 10,000 missiles have been launched against Israel.
Not a word that all of those destroyed houses are either entrances to underground tunnels or missile launching pads.
Nothing strange about that – telling truth has never been a priority for the Left…

Palestine House – a Rogue “Charity” Defunded
The picture above was taken during a JDL protest at Palestine House following the brutal murder of the Fogel family and their little children by Palestinian security officers. It is a symbol of the confrontation that has been going on for years, with people and organizations demanding that the charitable status of that terrorism-supporting organization be stripped.
After ignoring the concerns of those who had collected extensive files of facts on the real activities of Palestine House (the blogger Blazingcatfur has contributed more than anybody else to revealing the truth), the Government of Canada finally took action.
On February 14 the Immigration and Citizenship Minister Jason Kenney announced that Palestine House had been defunded. It is not going get anymore nearly $1 million each year to fund its questionable activities.
Its leaders were quick to issue a statement that no convincing explanation was cited for the decision. What else did you expect? As usual the Palestinian activists rely on the ignorance of the Canadian public to spread their phoney victim propaganda.
They want to present themselves as that great charity that provides English as a Second Language (ESL) and settlement services to new immigrants. And of course, they don’t want you to know how heavily involved they are supporting the causes of terrorist organizations.
The laws in Canada are straightforward – if you are a charity, you must stay out of politics. David Suzuki had a quite unpleasant experience when he did those election commercials in support of McGuinty’s idiotic green projects, which are bankrupting Ontario. Since that tiny movie venture threatened the status of his beloved cash cow, the David Suzuki Foundation, our green fear-monger went out of his way to prove that he has nothing to do with the foundation, which bears his name.
Apparently, the people from Palestine House were not that smart – they never separated their pro-terrorist politics from the work they did for the immigrants.
Blazingcatfur has an extensive coverage on what the organization did over the years, but here is something from that list, which shows in a nutshell their political position. In October 2007 they organized and promoted an event titled “Palestine: The Canadian Connection in the Current Crisis”, and on their website made the following statement in support of Hamas (I think I don’t need to remind you that Hamas is designated in Canada and many other countries as a terrorist entity):
“Stephen Harper’s Tory government shamefully led the international community in imposing a siege on the Palestinian people for exercising their democracy under Israeli occupation, the first time in human history that sanctions have been imposed on a people under occupation. Since then, the US,EU, Canada and Israel have worked to bolster the regime of Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) as he works to negotiate away the historic rights of the Palestinian people to the delight of the Israeli apartheid regime.”
Can you believe that? If a charity says that Abbas, a former terrorist (whose only difference from Hamas’s leaders is that he wears a suit and a tie), is a meek Israeli servant, we really have a problem. Going against a global opinion, based on facts, just to defend a murderous organization shouldn’t be the position of a tax-funded charity in Canada.
Then the angry Palestinians brought in the heavy artillery – Haroon Siddiqui, Toronto Star’s resident islamist, wrote what he thought was a devastating article.
Using action movie imagery, he claimed that “Hitman Jason Kenney” stroke again and got the government involved in a new “scandal”. Here is what he said:
“In December, the centre received a letter from Immigration Minister Jason Kenney. He accused it of having “a history of taking positions that could be interpreted as extreme or supportive of terrorists and terrorism”.”
According to Haroon, Kenney cited three instances “that could arguably be seen as extreme”: map on the site showing the Palestinian state encompassing all of Israel; the celebration of the release of about 1,000 prisoners in exchange for soldier Gilad Shalit, among which were “convicted terrorists and at least one individual who murdered two Canadian citizens”; and the appearance of Abdul Bari Atwan, a “journalist” who once stated celebrate if Iran’s missiles hit Israel.
Of course, none of the other instances of direct support for terrorism are mentioned.
Here is the map in question, part of the Palestine House logo:
The whole Israeli territory is covered by a kafiya – you can’t get more blatantly hateful than that.
Haroon has a “good” argument against that interpretation:
“The “map” is not exactly a map. It’s a logo that shows the outline of the ancestral land of the Palestinians. It does not even mention Palestine. Still, if the minister has strong feelings, the logo can be dropped.”
There is no “ancestral land of the Palestinians”. Before the restoration of the Jewish State, the area was controlled by different countries and no “Palestinian people” ever existed there. This is a clear provocation – imagine if Turkey published a map, where Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Albania were covered with a Turkish symbol as an “outline of the ancestral Ottoman lands”. I can visualize the horrible scandal that would develop. Why should Israel be treated in a different way?
A curious glimpse into Palestine House’s consistent attempts to demonize Israel is provided by their Google listing. The listing, which appears after you search for “Palestine House”, is supposed to provide directions, map and a short description (called “at a glance”) to benefit the potential clients. Last year, as you can see in the screenshot below, their “at a glance” information showed the following:
Their position, which will be of interest to the customers, is clear: “Meir Weinstein-war criminal-jewish defence league”.
Earlier this month they came up with a new description:
At least they are consistent: “coalition to stop the war-palestinian people-war criminal-israeli occupation-israeli apartheid”.
And on February 14, they changed the description again:
Meir Weinstein appeared again: “Palestinian people-israeli apartheid-meir Weinstein-globe and mail-canadian government”.
Is it just me or do you think that all these are strange business descriptions for an organization, which is supposed to teach English and help new immigrants to settle in Canada? What kind of an immigrant would find such a description useful? Never mind…
Let’s get back to the article – to bring in some legal “credibility”, Haroon quotes Barbara Jackman, a Toronto lawyer who is suing Kenney over the defunding of the Canadian Arab Federation:
She told me yesterday: “Palestine House, as also the Canadian Arab Federation, have long provided ESL and other immigrant settlement services — a completely apolitical activity — and both were doing a good job. Their funding was cut not because they were not doing the job or not delivering the services but because this government and this minister, in particular, do not like their political views.”
If this is the advice she gives to the Canadian Arab Federation, they should get back their money from her. Ms. Jackman must decide whether she is a lawyer or a “progressive” activist. Following her logic, a neo-Nazi group has all the rights to apply for government funding, if they start an educational institution. I find it odd that I have to explain to a lawyer that political views matter very much, especially for organizations that rely on tax-payers’ money. If Palestine House wants to support Hamas, they can do it on their own dime, as long as they don’t cross boundaries of funding terrorism.
For some strange reason, another huge violation of the law remained out of the attention of everybody involved. A few months ago the Canadian government started a crackdown on people who obtained their citizenship by fraud; there were over 1,000 of them. In the course of the investigation, it was revealed that:
“More than 300 people who claimed to live at the same address in Mississauga are being investigated by the RCMP in what police suspect may be a massive case of citizenship fraud. The case revolves around an address located in the same building as Palestine House, a Mississauga centre that offers language classes and settlement services to new immigrants and also acts as an advocate for Palestinian and Arab causes.”
What’s going on? Is this a part of the “misunderstood” political views of Palestine House, to which different laws should apply? Or do they have some underground dwellings (like in Gaza) where they have accommodated those 300 “new Canadians”?
I don’t expect any answers from Haroon Siddiqui and Barbara Jackman on the issue, but as usual, the government keeps us in the dark about that massive fraud. Don’t the taxpayers deserve an explanation?

JDL-Canada Confronts the Muslim Hatemonger Conference at ISNA
Last Sunday JDL-Canada organized a protest against a conference, which took place at ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) in Mississauga.
The “stars” of the conference were several Islamic “scholars”, who openly opposed gays and Jews. I am not going into details, because the case was extensively covered by Blazingcatfur. What I want to say is that, like many other events organized by Muslim fundamentalists, this one went unnoticed by the mainstream media until a few bloggers made it public.
Even the gays took a day off from bashing the Israeli “apartheid” to confront this travelling circus – because of them, the Montreal appearance of the “scholars” was cancelled. In Toronto, the conference was initially supposed to take place at Sheraton Hotel. After they realized it wasn’t something that would improve their reputation, they cancelled it as well (despite the Muslim protests).
ISNA was more than willing to accommodate the “scholars”. That’s not a surprise – ISNA claims to represent all Muslims in North America, yet fundamentalism is their preferred form of Islam. The US branch of the organization was involved in a terrorist-supporting scheme, the Holy Land Foundation, determined to be an unindicted co-conspirator. The Canadian branch, although not involved in that case, is eager to support Islamist events. And they have their financial troubles as well – last year an audit revealed that they misappropriated over $600,000 of the donated money.
ISNA is also an indoctrination centre – this is the place where Mark Harding was sent for Muslim re-education after being sentenced for criticizing Islam. They even threatened him that they would send him back to jail, if he says anything bad about the “prophet”.
As you can see, that’s a lovely organization. The trouble is that it’s not the only one. There are dozens of Muslim centres like this one, which receive generous government grants, despite their anti-Canadian policies. Palestine House (located in the same city) recently openly celebrated the release of 1000 Arab murderers and terrorists from Israeli prisons in exchange for Corporal Shalit. Yet the organization is not held accountable – it even gets over one million dollars in grants from the federal government.
At the same time, the organizations, which confront Islamism, are not supported at all, they are even persecuted. Last month JDL-Canada was framed for supposedly planning to bomb Palestine House. Nine members were interviewed by the police without being presented with any evidence or explanations. It’s not hard to figure out who benefits from that intimidation.
That was the meaning of the protest – regardless of any intimidation, JDL-Canada and the other organizations fighting Islamism are determined to make their point and make it clear that the fanatics don’t have a free pass in Canada.
When we arrived, there was a short chat with the police on the technicalities:
As we approached the building, our friends from ISNA were already waiting for us:
Only SUN News covered the event (what else did you expect?)
Through signs and flags the participants clearly conveyed their message:
Even two dogs took part in the protest. I suppose the Muslims would see this as a form of cruel and unusual punishment.
Meir Weinstein (JDL-Canada Director) and Ron Banerjee (from Canadian Hindu Advocacy) gave short speeches. They both emphasized the hypocrisy of Muslim organizations like ISNA, which claim to be moderate and at the same support Islamic fundamentalism.
That definitely wasn’t a dull event. At certain point, a large group of Muslims approached the protestors. It happened very fast, so I am not sure what they wanted, but that was enough to bring in several riot police officers. After a talk, the crowd retreated.
Then a SUV with several young Muslim men with shaved heads approached the building. While turning toward the parking, two of them leaned out shouting obscenities. As soon as they parked, a bunch of mosque people ran toward them, probably to make them shut up (after all, the police were watching).
When the conference ended, I saw several hijab girls yelling and showing fingers to the protestors (they were too far to hear what they were saying). We also got a few fingers and swearing words from moderate Muslims passing us by in their cars.
There was even an attempt for interfaith dialogue. A hijab girl (probably a recent convert, she was whiter than Conan O’Brien) came to the protestors smiling and started a conversation. She was able to say only a few words about a thesis she wrote, when the angry mosque people ushered her back to her flock. I suppose they warned her that the Jews were going to eat her alive.
On our way back, one of the police cars at the protest followed our bus for a while. I guess if they did that to a Muslim bus, it would have been considered Islamophobia, but when somebody deals with Jews apparently anything goes…

Thousands of People, Including Jason Kenney, Attend a Stand with Israel Rally in Toronto
It was an incredible evening – over 3,000 people attended tonight the rally at the Canada Christian College. Organized by B’nai Brith, its purpose was to express the protest of those who stand for Israel against the unilateral declaration of Palestinian statehood.
The hall was completely packed, the balcony was full and despite the fact that they brought in extra chairs, there were many people who had to stand the whole time. That was a real multicultural event, with people from every race and many nationalities represented in Toronto, all of them united for a great cause.
Most of the people signed a petition in support of Israel:
Among the guests were Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism; Dr. Frank Dimant, Executive President of B’nai Brith Canada; Amir R. Gissin, Consul General of Israel in Toronto; representatives of Dalton McGuinty and Tim Hudak; Mark Adler, York MP; other guests and many Christian pastors.
The common thread in all speeches was the full support for the sovereignty of the state of Israel. It was stated that we need to take a firm stand against all the forces, which a trying to destroy Israel.
Here are some highlights from that memorable evening.
The hall is almost full half an hour before the event begins:

Jason Kenney delivers his speech. You can see his whole presentation at Blazingcatfur. I suspect that tomorrow the lefties and the Muslim fanatics would try to crucify him for it.
One of the pastors says a prayer for the wellbeing of Israel:

Mighty Rally in Toronto in Support of the Palestinian Terrorist State
Next week the terrorist Abu Mazen (a.k.a. the “Palestinian President” Mahmud Abbas) is heading to New York to get independence for his “country”, which he co-rules with Hamas.
There was a rally today in front of the Israeli Consulate in Toronto urging Canada to support Abu Mazen’s scheme. Judging from the flyers they were giving away, the event was organized by Women in Solidarity with Palestine and the International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network.
As you can see, despite the efforts, those organizations managed to bring in a frightening crowd of six people (including the token Arab).
Don’t forget that this Sunday allthose who realize the real threat of the Palestinian terrorism will have the chance to raise their voices.
Press Release of JDL Canada on a Recent Anti-Jewish Statement at York University
Yesterday, the blog Sassy Wire broke the story about an appalling anti-Semitic remark allegedly made by a York University professor during his class.
That doesn’t surprise me – I’ve had the questionable “honour” of observing how the Jewish students were treated when the psychotic terrorist supporter George Galloway was invited to speak at York U.

Muslims try to start a fight with the Jewish students during the Galloway appearance at York last year
Today JDL Canada issued a press release concerning this issue:

STATEMENT ON THE RECENT CONTROVERSY AT YORK UNIVERSITY
During the past 24 hours, a controversy has erupted over the comments of York University Assistant Professor Cameron Johnston who stated in his class that “Jews need to be sterilized.” York University has evolved into a campus that tolerates anti semitism. It is within this climate that a Professor was able to utter such vile hate. Below are some recent examples of anti semitism on campus:

Muslim Brutes Deface Toronto Synagogue
Ramadan is know statistically as the month in which the Muslims commit disproportionally high number of atrocities and terrorist acts. On one hand, that’s the way they want to shove the teachings of their false prophet down others’ throats; on the other hand, that’s the time when most of the donations are made, so the vandals and terrorists are best financed to fight the kafirs.
What is ramadan without a good Jew-bashing? It was just reported that the Beth Tikvah/Robbins Hebrew Academy building has been defaced. Some Muslim animal “decorated” it with a swastika and the slogan “Islam will rule”. This is a test for the Toronto authorities – are they going to take any action or just ignore the Islamic barbarity? Let’s not forget that on Sunday a photographer was assaulted on Dundas square by a rabid Muslim woman and the police refused to charge her.
Here is the complete statement of Rabbi Jarrod Grover from Beth Tikvah:
Dear Friends, I am saddened to report to you that our synagogue has been the victim of a pro-Islamic anti-Semitic vandal. Just about an hour ago, we discovered the attached spray-painted message across the southern wall of the Beth Tikvah/Robbins Hebrew Academy building. We have notified the police and they will draw up a report, and I also wanted to immediately notify our membership.
I have always been proud to be a rabbi on Bayview Avenue where there are so many synagogues, mosques, churches and temples. Our communities of faith speak from different traditions, but join together to promote acts of kindness, fellowship, and charity. This kind of hatred has no place on this street, in this city, or in this country. I call upon our Muslim neighbours, and all those outraged by these pictures, to condemn this behaviour and to speak out against anti-Semitism and vandalism.
This time of year is set aside to remember the destruction of our Temple in Jerusalem many centuries ago. Attacks like these remind us that we remain vulnerable so long as the world is still plagued by religious arrogance, intolerance and hatred.

The Blue Beret and the London Not-So-Free Press
Nearly 20 days ago, when the Blue Beret Mark Vandermaas began his vigil against London Mosque’s involvement in the Sea Hitler project, I was concerned that he would spend the good part of the summer standing there.
His pledge was to continue until Heap and Hamou, two prominent London loons sailing on the ship, are back in London. I calculated that after an altercation with the Israeli coast guards, they may need to spend some time and jail before being shipped back to Canada. So I expected to see Mark next to the mosque with his UN flag even as the first snow was falling.
The reality turned out to be completely different. It looks like Heap and Hamou will be heading home pretty soon. The whole “flotilla” project turned out to be a colossal failure, which was facilitated by the utter stupidity of the progressive people involved in it.
It is amusing that those people, who have such grand plans about making all of us slaves to their Muslim, environmental or vegetarian agenda, are so bad in dealing with reality. It took only the coast guards of the cash-strapped Greece and a group of merciless Israeli lawyers to ground them.
In a peculiar way, I feel sorry for Hamas. There were times when the left counted for something – Lenin and his rag-tag gang managed to take over a country. Even the camel-faced little terrorist Arafat knew how to pull off a murderous spectacle.
Now Hamas has to deal with a bunch of Western sissies, who have no idea about how maritime laws work, and who believe that the whole world shares their delusions. This year Hamas couldn’t even get a few Turkish criminals to “martyr” themselves.
With Mark standing at the mosque, the whole issue of the Canadian leftist psychopaths supporting Hamas is hard to ignore. You can consider him an embodiment of the conscience, which the mosque and the progressives lack.
His lonely stand has been supported by people passing by, by bloggers, even The Jewish Tribune and Toronto Sun wrote about him.
In his column, Toronto Sun’s founder Peter Worthington says that Mark Vandermaas’s protest has been largely ignored. That might be partially true – the local media in London doesn’t care that much about him. They even refused to write about his vigil for the lack of “readers’ interest”.
Yet, as a person who has spent most of his life under communism, I can tell when a person is attacked indirectly to reduce his publicity (that accusation made between the lines was a favourite communist trick).
On July 4, the local newspaper London Free Press published a very revealing article titled London area supporters raise more than $60,000 in aid . Although it doesn’t mention Mark or his vigil even once, it’s written to make him look terrible for opposing the “noble” Palestinian cause. What makes it worse is that the author Patrick Maloney has almost exactly the same name as the founder of one of my favourite bands – The Chieftains’ Paddy Moloney (that’s fine, I know the world is not fair).
The article starts with the bombastic statement that people in London have raised $60,000 to finance the Canadian boat to Gaza. It is hard to believe that here are so many idiots in the area willing to pay that much.
The “people of Canada” collected over $400,000, most of which, according to the article, went to buy the boat; another chunk went to funding the extended vacation of the lefties sailing to Gaza. A relatively small part of the money was spent on the real medical supplies. The funny part is that, if the organizers didn’t
want to go through that ridiculous Hamas provocation of “breaking” the Gaza blockade, they could have bought supplies for all the money and delivered them to Gaza through Israel.
Last week, during his visit to Bulgaria, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu clearly stated that all kinds of real humanitarian aid could be delivered to Gaza through the Israeli ports. Of course, such statements don’t fit the London Free Press pro-Arab agenda.
In order not to sound too anti-Semitic, the article mentions briefly B’nai Brith, which is opposed to the scheme, but then immediately goes into the last year’s incident with the Turkish terrorists. In order to keep the mosque happy, Paddy says:
On May 31, 2010, a Gaza-bound flotilla from Turkey was boarded in international waters by Israeli commandos — and nine Turkish activists aboard were killed. Both sides accused the other of sparking the violence.
Not a word about the Israeli soldiers being attacked and beaten by the Turkish criminals, which caused the Israeli reaction in the first place. Not a word about the overwhelming film evidence for that.
The next paragraph takes the cake. When the article discusses the motivation of the “progressive professor” David Heap to take part in this anti-Semitic venture, it quotes him comparing his mission with his father’s decision to leave Toronto to Alabama in order to take part in Martin Luther King’s civil rights march in 1965.
Forgive my question, Lefty Boy Heap, but can you tell me how many missiles did Dr. King launch against Washington? How many people did his suicidal supporters kill? You know that the answer is NONE.
I have never seen a more disgusting insult of the memory of the civil rights leader printed in a Canadian newspaper. To compare your father’s decision to support Dr. King to your decision to conduct a provocation, which benefits Hamas, one of the most disgusting terrorist organizations in the world, is a monstrosity beyond belief. That’s why today’s Canadian Left consists of a mob of pathetic losers, who can’t get any significant support.
A paper, which prints such thinly veiled anti-Semitic pieces, deserves all the attacks and protests they can get.
Apparently, Mark Vandermaas is at the same opinion.
Tomorrow, July 12, he invites everybody who supports truth and honesty, to express their point of view in front of the London Free Press editorial offices. It would be good to show them that the opinions of the mosque are not those of the people from London.
Please see Mark’s website for directions and details.
Mark, I hope they’ll finally hear your voice loud and clear…
