Is the Dirty Old Con Man David Suzuki Really Our Most Admired Canadian?

Today Yahoo News informed us that David Suzuiki tops the list of the most admired Canadians, according to a poll conducted by Angus Reid. It is funny to see the list – it will make you scratch your head and wonder how those survey parasites waste our money:

1. David Suzuki – 57%

2. Rick Hansen – 50%

3. Peter Mansbridge – 48%

4. Margaret Atwood – 34%

5. Justin Trudeau – 34%

6. Don Cherry – 27%

7. Stephen Harper – 23%

8. Elizabeth May – 22%

9. Stephen Lewis – 20%

10. Thomas Mulcair – 20%

11. Belinda Stronach – 11%

12. Pamela Wallin – 7%

13. John Furlong – 6%

The Yahoo article takes a few cheap shots at Ezra Levant, who has criticized Suzuki consistently. The poll must have been conducted at the CBC headquarters or in mental institutions to get that result. If that’s a genuine opinion of impartially selected Canadians, it shows the total bankruptcy of our nation. In that case, we are not far from electing an incompetent entity like the affirmative action “president” Barry Hussein.

What Ezra Levant showed (and the facts are available to everybody to see) is that Suzuki used ecological fear mongering to legally steal millions and millions of dollars in government subsidies, doomsday shows fees and donations from frightened consumers to his “charity” – the David Suzuki Foundation. That multi-millionaire, who preaches moderation in using the earth’s resources, owns four lavish homes and with his constant travels leaves bigger “carbon footprint” than most of us. And at least on one occasion he he demanded to be escorted by pretty young girls while giving talks at a university campus (the dirty old man’s dream).

In the 1970’s this first-class con man made a fortune from promoting the danger of a new global ice age. When the scam failed, he quickly switched to the global warming. Now this scam is also failing – contrary to the “sophisticated” climate models, there hasn’t been any real increase in the temperatures worldwide. By 2010 we were supposed to have over 50 million island refugees after their land disappeared under the water from the melted glaciers. Where are they?

Suzuki still keeps milking that deception – a few weeks ago his foundation issued another dire warning that the end is near, but Canada still has its chance to “stop the climate change” by taxing us more. As Mr. T would’ve said, I pity the Canadian fools, who think that the old con man should be admired.

The whole choice of personalities in the list is ridiculous. Where are the scientists or doctors, who contributed to Canada? We see the three major political parties’ leaders (Elizabeth May is a joke, not a leader). Then there is the political non-entity Belinda Stronach; the wicked witch of the Annex Margaret Atwood; the NDP mummy Stephen Lewis, who came out of his chamber to look for ways to bring more phony Hungarian gypsy “refugees” to Canada.

And what are Mike Duffy, Pamela Wallin, and Conrad Black doing on the list? All of them have been engaged in alleged or real misdemeanors. If they are so important, why didn’t Angus Reid include some heavy hitters among the candidates for admiration? Like Paul Bernardo, Luca Magnotta the Canibal, the crazy Chinese guy who beheaded his fellow passenger on the Manitoba bus, or even that piece of garbage, the Muslim terrorist Omar Khadr? I am sure that Khadr would beat in popularity Trudeau, Harper, and Mulcair.

Is the Canadian public embracing stupidity? Maybe very soon we will get our own version of the Honey Boo Boo show.

As I have said in previous posts, the Arab slaughter of thousands of “Palestinians” in Syria and Jordan, not to mention the expulsion of 400,000 Palestinians from Kuwait in 1991, is ignored by the media.

Their tunnel vision hatred for Israel only reveals their true colours – every time.

Not sure how the post above got into the Davis Suzuki piece. The following is from the Toronto Sun:

OTTAWA — Green sage David Suzuki has some expensive tastes for someone who wants to shut down the carbon economy within a generation.

QMI Agency has learned that Suzuki, who’s made a name for himself fighting for the environment and against development, owns four homes, including one property he co-owns with a fossil fuels company.

His primary abode is a sprawling mansion in the Kitsilano neighbourhood of Vancouver, worth approximately $8.2 million.

At Occupy Vancouver, Suzuki extolled the virtues of his anti-corporate agenda and condemned excess.

He owns another slightly more modest property in the Kitsilano neighbourhood. Its value is listed as $1.01 million.

Suzuki owns a waterfront property on the Quadra Island area off the B.C. coast, that appears from photos to be something of a cottage getaway, complete with boat dock. The property is valued at $1.1 million.

Perhaps most interesting is a property on Nelson Island of which Suzuki is one of several co-owners listed on a B.C. land title registry, another of which includes Kootenay Oil Distributors.

Nelson Island is predominantly forested with little economic activity and a tiny permanent population.

David Suzuki is an obnoxious liar & hypocrite. He probably paid them to have him as most admired Canadian. Something like how the academy awards are run.
