Cutting Through the Web of Deception or the Legal Rights of Israel
No other country in the world has been so heavily and unfairly scrutinized as Israel. Everything about it is questioned: its borders, its army, the places where its citizens live, the ways in which it defends itself from invaders, even the right to its existence… Everybody feels that they have the right to lecture them: from the lowest sadistic terrorist, through the out-of-this-world socialist activists, to the Secretary General of the UN. And this is not just verbal criticism; things often turn ugly, like yesterday when Palestinian terrorists in the West Bank killed in cold blood 4 Israelis, one of them a pregnant woman.
Emotions cloud the clear judgment on both sides and facts are getting lost in an entangled web of lies. The voices of reason are rare, but they exist and sometimes you can listen to them. Today I listened to one of those voices: Salomon Benzimra (from Canadians for Israel’s Legal Rights, CILR), who gave a presentation organized by the Jewish Defence League. Although the issues he discussed are highly emotionally charged, he kept the emotions totally out of his lecture. Meticulously dissecting the long history of the problem of the Jewish state, he attacked the destructive deceptions spread by media, politicians, and academics.
Mayor of Mexican Border Town Killed
Another frighetning news from Mexico… The Mayor of the small town named Hidalgo, located at the US border, was killed today. He was shot while driving his car. His 4-year old daughter, who was with him, was badly wounded.
It was the same town where few days ago they found the corpses of 72 South American immigrants shot by the drug cartels. Shortly after that, two Mexican officials investigating the massacre went missing and later were found shot. Earlier today two car bombs exploded in the same town…
How is Calderon dealing with the situation? Is he still opposed to Arizona’s law that attempts to prevent his incompetence spilling into the USA?
Is Comrade Obama going to do anything to protect his citizens?
Or is he going to file another lawsuit against Arizona and return to the golf course?
Siddiqui’s Recipe for Peace –Don’t Offend the Terrorists!
I have always found Haroun Siddiqui’s columns in Toronto Star very entertaining. He has the funny ability to twist facts and concepts to the point where you wonder if he really means what he writes. It is not clear if he is clueless about what he covers or if the newspaper keeps him to stir controversy and bring in more readers.
He usually offers some simple idea, backed with questionable arguments, which in his world would resolve all complex issues. His latest column is not an exception.
Commenting on the recent arrests of four suspect terrorists in Ottawa, he takes on the enormous task to resolve the secret of terrorism in Canada. His solution is very simple and easy: all terrorism in Canada is rooted in our war in Afghanistan, if we leave, everything will be fine and dandy again. Read the rest of this entry »
The Little Muslim Mermaid or Islamization at Disneyland
A Muslim woman, who works for Disney is suing the company, because it wouldn’t allow her to wear hijab at work. Her position is restaurant hostess at the Storyteller’s Café in the Grand Californian Hotel in Downtown Disney. CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) has been heavily involved in the case and has organized demonstration at Disney with a whole platoon of hijab-covered women. Here is the video: Read the rest of this entry »
Canadian Idol Reject Turns into a Terrorist
Canadian authorities just made arrests in Ottawa. According to the information released officially, the people they arrested are going to be charged with terrorosm. For the outraged lefties: this was a result of a lengthy investigation.
It turns out that one of the suspected terrorists was Khuram Sher, who was a contender on Canadian Idol. Here is his performance:
What a performance! The Canadian Idol judges were so insensitive. Although he didn’t show exceptional musical talent, he should have been approved due to his marvelous Taliban uniform.
That should be a lesson to Canada: if you offend any weirdo (especially if it’s deserved) they may turn against you and you will be blamed for that.
And for the lefties who support cultural diversity: why don’t you take your case to the Ontario Human Rights Commission? The Ontario Inquisition will be more than happy to take the case of a singing Taliban and convincingly show that he was discriminated due to his attire (of course, the singing ability doesn’t matter to them).
Campbell Soup Canada – Proudly Halal
In a flyer for a major Toronto supermarket chain (distributed in the downtown area) Campbell announces that it proudly offers halal soup and other halal products:
Isn’t that great? So what about the other non-halal products? It seems now that you have to stack a pile of them, because they may be on their way out:
Seriously, if a food company makes halal products, isn’t it “haram” if it produces pork-based food? Or will it gradually get rid of them? How is this issue resolved from the sharia point of view?
Do the companies like Campbell in Saudi Arabia show solidarity and make bacon soup? Or probably, as usual, the West is showing its limitless tolerance without expecting any reciprocity…
Smitherman and McGuinty on the Wagon of Doom
It looks like George Smitherman is really desperate. The Ontario’s Provincial Liberal Party just endorsed his mayoral campaign. In normal circumstances, that would have been a marvellous news for him, but Smitherman never ran under normal circumstances.
His whole campaign was designed to show him as a fiscally responsible candidate, who would change the way the city politics is conducted. It’s my guess that with his popularity lagging behind Ford, he requested Dalton McGuinty’s support, but the latter opened again the jam-packed with skeletons closet, which Smitherman so carefully tried to hide until now. Kosher BBQ with the “Notorious” Rob Ford
Kosher BBQ with Rob Ford? Who would’ve thought that anybody would show up after the carefully orchestrated daily bashing by the Toronto media? Despite the smear, after 4:00 p.m. this afternoon the schoolyard of the Bialik Hebrew Day School was crowded, the school’s parking was full and there were no spots left on streets around and all that despite the cloudy and rainy weather. Toronto Media’s Game – Let’s Smear Rob Ford
It’s amazing to observe how much negative attention Rob Ford gets from the media in Toronto. The man who leads the Toronto mayoral race has been consistently attacked by most major papers in the city. The other candidates for the post have also swarmed against him, often forgetting their own political platforms. In a way, that’s good: if several city politicians consider more important the joint fight against him than explaining their ideas to the public, that shows his strength. Harper Finally Takes a Stand against the Tamil Smuggling
After several days of silence, Prime Minister Stephen Harper finally expressed his opinion. At a press conference in Mississauga, ON, he acknowledged that the Canadians are concerned about a whole boat of people who enter the country ignoring the regular immigration channels.
His stand is much better than the position of Count Ignatieff and “Taliban Jack” Layton, who would let in anybody who shows up at the border for any reason just not to spoil the Third World’s impression of Canada as being the most generous dumping place in the world. Read the rest of this entry »
Ontario – Liberty Seminar Hosts Threatened by Local Government with $50,000 Fine
It is hard to believe that something like that can happen in Canada, but it is true. Marta and Lech Jaworski, who on July 25 hosted the Liberty Summer Seminar, organized by the Institute for Liberal Studies, on their property in Orono, Ontario, are now threatened by the local municipal government with a hefty fine for alleged zoning violations. It’s unbelievable that a group of intellectuals can be treated like a bunch of illegal gamblers or drug dealers. Are they that dangerous??? Here is their press release (please click on the link at the bottom for more information): Read the rest of this entry »
Welcome to Canada, Tamil Tigers!
A ship carrying 490 Tamils, among which smugglers and possibly people linked to the Tamil Tigers, a known terrorist organization, had no problem arriving in Canada last week. Now we have another batch of freeloaders, who for a long while will be getting free food, free housing, and free healthcare. The government showed us once again that illegal migrants’ interest come far above the interests of its citizens and the people who wait for years to immigrate to Canada. What were they thinking??? Conference on Political Islam’s Effects: Polygamy, Niqab, and Honor Killing
A Conference on the effect of globalization of political Islam on women’s rights, in question with polygamy, neqab and honor killing took place in Toronto today, organized by the International Campaign Against Sharia’s Court in Canada. The speakers raised disturbing issues about blatant violations of individual rights in Canada in the name of multiculturalism and freedom of religion.
Man Wearing a Black Burka Robs TD Bank
Associate Press reported that on Tuesday, August 11, a man wearing a burka robbed a TD Bank branch located in Silver Spring, MD.
He entered the branch shortly after 4 p.m. His face was covered with long black burka. The intruder showed a gun and demanded money, speaking with what the police described as “a Middle Eastern accent.”
When he got his money, he left in a silver car, most likely a Chevrolet.
As of now, he still has not been caught.
Who could have thought that somebody in a burka could rob a bank?????
Muslim Terrorists Kill 8 Medics in Afghanistan
Just another mass murder in Afghanistan… Yesterday ten members of a medical group were shot in cold blood by Muslim fanatics in Afghanistan. Six of them were from the USA, one from Germany, and one from Great Britain. Two Afghani interpreters were also killed.
The organization, which sent them there (International Assistance Mission) stated that their task was to provide eye treatment to people in remote villages. The Taliban, who took responsibility for the murders, claimed that they killed them because they were “spying for the Americans” and “preaching Christianity.” Read the rest of this entry »
Halal Great Britain
It has been reported that starting from September thousands of school children in the Harrow area of London will be forced to eat only halal meat at school. That despite of the protests of many parents…
Supposedly, this is one of the most diverse ethnically communities in Great Britain. The sources state that the population is just under 50% Christian, 20% Hindu, 7% Muslim, and 6% Jewish. Read the rest of this entry »
Your Friendly Multicultural Exploiter
Recently Toronto Star ran a story about the labour conditions in Toronto’s Chinatown. Their main example was a woman, who came from China in 2006. Apparently, she didn’t start work until this year, because she was raising two young children. She didn’t speak any English, so her only option was working in Chinatown.
She found a job at a manicure salon, but then was asked to pay $400 deposit for the privilege to work there. On top of that she agreed to work seven days a week, ten hours a day and receive for that $25 daily wage. Eventually, she had to leave the job due to exhaustion. Read the rest of this entry »
SHARIA HEALTHCARE IN CANADA
The sharia law has taken another step forward in Canada. The most appalling thing is that this time it has been “applied” by healthcare professionals. In a nutshell, at Kingston General Hospital (Ontario) a new mother with complications from emergency C-section and her baby were forced to move out of a common hospital room so that a Muslim woman would be able to breastfeed her baby undisturbed. You can read the full story here. What added insult to the injury was the fact that the mother was also forced to pay $750 for using the new room. Read the rest of this entry »
“Mayor Joe” Pantalone’s Cricket Passion
The Toronto mayoral race is heating up. There are too many contenders and it is still not easy to pick the best one.
Recently I met Joe Pantalone at a charity fundraiser. I knew that he was a city councillor, but I wasn’t aware that he was running for mayor. I asked him which political party he represents. He answered that he was an NDP sympathizer, but as a candidate he was above all political parties. I tried to find out what he will do to solve the traffic congestion problem in Toronto, and he said that it won’t be much because the city gets only 8% of the taxes collected here. Al Gore and the Microbes That Ate the Gulf Oil Spill
It was reported three days ago that most of the oil spilled in the Mexican Gulf after the BP disaster miraculously disappeared. Actually, it wasn’t a miracle. Everything happened for perfectly natural reasons.
For starters, there were over 4,000 ships that were involved in the skimming operations, trying to collect as much oil as possible. However, they were not the major contributors to the solution. Read the rest of this entry »
Medieval Saudi Arabia Bans BlackBerry Functions
Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are going to ban the users of BlackBerry phones from instant messaging, e-mailing and web browsing. The ban, worthy of the spirit of the medieval Islam, which reigns there, is caused by the problem of too many users being out of control. The difficulties of monitoring and censoring their conversations threaten the “moral” Islamic pillars of the Kingdom. More about that here.
Halal Discount!
Great way to save on halal hot dogs in Toronto. At this hot dog cart (just across the street from the Jewish Community Centre on Spadina) you can get halal beef hot dog with pop for only $2.50.
If you are an infidel, you would pay $2.50 for a hot dog plus a $1 for pop, accrding to their regular prices displayed at the other side of the cart. It pays to be a believer.
I wonder for how long would’ve this sign survived, if it read:
“PORK SAUSAGES WITH POP FOR CATHOLICS ONLY, $2.50″
Bill C-556: Olivia Chow and the Disabled Immigrants
On the last day of the spring session of the Canadian Parliament Olivia Chow, an NDP MP from Toronto, moved to introduce Bill C-556, An Act to amend the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (exception to inadmissibility). You can find the complete text of her proposal on her website or in the Parliament’s records.
The purpose of the amendment is to stop the (alleged) discrimination against people with disabilities who want to become legal Canadian residents. As with any issue related to a disadvantaged group, any criticism of that issue could bring the anger of the righteous leftists upon the critic. Nevertheless, let’s see why Olivia’s idea is not good.
