The gang of 57 Muslim countries in the United Nations, known as the Organization of Islamic Conference, managed to squeeze again (through one of the committees) a resolution designed to fight the “vilification of religions”. They stubbornly try to pass it every year, although the UN General Assembly so far hasn’t approved it. They are bound to do it again this coming December.

On the surface that sounds great, doesn’t it?

Finally there will be some protection for the little Christian lady, who drops her dollar every Sunday in the collection plate at her church or for the Rabbi, who is taunted by accusations that his small synagogue is planning to take over the world.

Wrong, I can’t imagine Pope Benedict XVI going through courts and lobbying all known politicians to punish his church’s enemies. Or the Dalai Lama scheming over different ways to make China accept his form of Buddhism.

However, there is a religion that will definitely benefit from that resolution in its attempts to enslave the world and that’s Islam.

There is a certain Muslim idiot in Scotland, who has harassed Burger King for years over a certain doodle in one of their logos, which resembles to him the name of his “god” in Arabic. The company so far has taken him seriously, trying to change the design. Imagine what will happen when he has the UN resolution behind him, he will be able to sue for millions for his hurt feelings.

Free speech in Canada is a rare commodity. Although guaranteed by Trudeau’s Charter, the same politicians who introduced it made sure that it doesn’t go to far beyond the Liberal Party’s agenda.

A certain Canadian lawyer, who shall remain unnamed for obvious reasons (I would identify him as balding and I hope revealing that fact is not considered libel) has started a personal crusade against speech he doesn’t like. Oops, crusade wasn’t the right politically correct term. He started a personal initiative against those who may intentionally or unintentionally offend or inconvenience a certain real or imaginary group of people or make that group think that they might be inconvenienced in the future or the speech in question may suggest that they should have been inconvenienced in the past.

Okay, my clumsy attempt to define the possible charges according to Section 13 of the Human Right Code and the corresponding sections of the Penal Code show how difficult it is to survive under those vague legal “definitions” when your “free” speech doesn’t fit the official agenda.

It is a shame, but with the current laws in Canada everybody can be charged for speaking their mind.

Well, this time that certain lawyer has gone after a prominent Canadian blogger, who is one of those thinking that free speech is still real. He is Blazingcatfur. People like him are representatives of the missing breed of the investigative reporter in Canadian media. Of course the mainstream media in Canada doesn’t need such people, we all live here in a multicultural paradise and every weird behaviour is just a nice piece of the rich tapestry of the multicultural madness.

However, for a very large number of people who pay the taxes that finance multiculturalism and are branded racists if they question the sanity of that situation, it is important to have somebody that can tell the truth.

Silencing people like Blazingcatfur is a travesty that if expanded will bring an end to our values and eventually to our civilization.

If you think that you prefer the traditional Canada as a home to individuals who work together and respect each other, as opposed to turning it into a medieval society, where the social problems are resolved by stoning and cutting off limbs, you may attend an event in support of Blazingcatfur.

It is organized by the Jewish Defense League of Canada and it will take place on December 1 at the Toronto Zionist Centre (788 Marlee Avenue).

There will be good food, a great opportunity to meet Blazingcatfur and make yourself a part of defending something that is bigger than you (and that’s free speech)…

According to recent information obtained by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation it turns out that many aboriginal politicians in Canada make substantial amounts of money (news here).

The statistics shows that 222 Indian chiefs and counsellors all across Canada receive more money than the Premiers in their provinces. And with 82 of them, the situation is even rosier – their income exceeds the salary of Stephen Harper.

If you think that the information was readily available and transparent as is the case with the other politicians in Canada, you will be wrong. The most interesting thing about the numbers is that it took the Federation over a year of repeated requests to get the salary amounts from the Department of Indian Affairs.

It’s no wonder, because bringing that information to the public hurts the traditional image of the Natives of Canada as perennial martyrs who still suffer the White Man’s evil.   

In a very blatant example of misuse of money, a certain chief in the Maritimes, who presides over a community of 304 people, has received $978,000 tax free. Read the rest of this entry »

What shall we do with all those billionaires? Do we have to exterminate them (financially) or can we use them in any way?

Those were the questions, which the student members of the Hart House Debate Club (University of Toronto) pondered during their session earlier this month. As a supreme arbiter they had invited Linda McQuaig, a (very) liberal columnist from Toronto Star.

The theme about whether billionaires are menace to society was discussed from two opposing points of view. The students were well prepared and had to speak extremely fast to fit into the short minutes allocated to each speech.

The first side stated that they are a menace. Their vast wealth buys politicians through campaign donations, because with the current practices in the election campaigns, you cannot be elected without money. Power corrupts – the politicians, who gained their positions through the rich, continue to serve them. Even the judges become corrupt as it was shown in the way Enron was treated in the courts.

Universities are also controlled through wealth. They should be subsidized by the government instead. Billionaires should not have the power they have now, because it is not deserved. For example, those who make billions trading currency should not be entitled to the power given by profits.

The other side defended the opinion that billionaires are important, because they donate money. Tax money is not enough for the different ventures and initiatives, so the gap is filled by billionaires. The money that Peter Munk donated to create the Munk School of Global Affairs is an example. Another one are the Warren Buffett contributions to the AIDS research. For the universities the money received from the government is not enough. It is also wrong to assume that the billionaires always win politically – example of that was Meg Whitman’s gubernatorial campaign in California, which she lost.

Then Linda McQuaig was called to resolve the conundrum.

When I attended the protest against Galloway’s speech last week, I had no idea what would follow. My thought was that it would be a protest like any other, where the students and other people would express their opinions and go home.

I wrote my post the same night and included in it the most interesting pictures.

A blogger who was there wrote the next day that he was not going to include in his blog the footage from the protest. He was told by the Jewish students that they feared repercussions for what they were doing. I didn’t pay much attention to that, thinking they were way too cautious.

Then I received several e-mails with requests to remove some of the pictures. Their reason was that they were threatened with legal action. There were no e-mails from the Muslims and the lefties, who organized the Galloway circus.

Then I read Ezra Levant’s column about  Mamdouh Shoukri, the President of York University, who threatened a Rabbi with legal action for calling people to oppose Galloway’s appearance.

Then there was the editorial of National Post, which revealed that the Jewish organizations at York were about to be charged with violations, which may bring expulsion.

I thought that Galloway and the Israeli Apartheid Week were bad enough, but it turned out the things were much, much worse. In the wise words of George Costanza, this thing is like an onion: the more layers you peel, the more it stinks!

So the events which happened that night started to fit into their places. The blatant anti-Semitism suddenly came to light.

First of all, the appearance of Galloway was not unlike an appearance by Adolf Hitler. Both of them have the same final solution for the Jews, with the only difference that Galloway expects the Palestinian Arabs to do the dirty job by moving en masse into Israel and destroying the country. In July we published a story about a Canadian white woman who was denied a government job because of her race. It was an appalling case of discrimination, which would never make it to the Human Rights Commission. Few days ago we received a letter from a reader, which made some great points about that post.

Since those are issues that need to be discussed in public, below we show the full text of the letter, followed by our comments. The only change made was to omit the reader’s name in order to protect his/her privacy:

I was reading the post from July 26th, 2010 entitled “Get Lost Whitey” by admiwrath and I had the following response. You want to discuss institutional racism? Have you even considered the consistent marginalization of aboriginal peoples in this country is the ultimate example of this practice? Maybe before you start complaining about the hiring practices of the Canadian government you should consider why it is that you are here in the first place.

 

Where ever you are in Canada right now, you are on stolen land. This land was stolen from aboriginal people through a completely absurd treaty process which was forced upon First Nations. Or perhaps you think this sort of blatantly racist treatment of aboriginals in Canada is relegated to the history texts. Not so, my friend. Many native communities have inadequate infrastructure: poor and over-crowded housing, over 100 reserves are on a “boil water” advisory or are without basic sewage and electricity. Aboriginal health is also generally poorer than that of the average Canadian: higher infant mortality rates, lower life expectancy, tuberculosis rates 8 to 10 times higher than the rest of Canada.

Many reserves also lack proper educational facilities (see Attawapiskat or Kasheshewan, Ontario). In fact, 1 in 4 First Nations children live in poverty compared to 1 in 6 children in Canada. Overall, the average Canadian gets services from the federal, provincial and municipal governments at an amount that is almost two-and-a-half times greater than that received by First Nations citizens. If you really believe that whites are somehow being treated unfairly, perhaps you should read the article, “White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack” by Peggy McIntosh, followed by “The Color of Supremacy: Beyond the Discourse of White Privilege” by Zeus Leonardo.

If these are not your thing, try researching the UN Human Rights Council’s condemnation of Canada’s treatment of aboriginal and other marginalized people. Canada was one of 4 nations which refused to endorse the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (the other 3 being Australia, New Zealand and the US…all of whom have substantial indigenous populations and essentially the most to lose from giving aboriginal people the same rights as everyone else). Now, do you really think that the government’s hiring practices are unfair? Don’t aboriginal people deserve some sort of leg-up after centuries of devastation? Just a thought.

You make some excellent points, which need to be discussed openly for the benefit of the Canadian public.

I am not complaining about the government hiring practices per se. What bothers me is that the government ignores a document called Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Supposedly, it was introduced to ensure the equal treatment of all Canadians, yet the Left with remarkable ingenuity violates the Charter by introducing more and more minority right, for which the silent majority is supposed to pay. A remarkable protest against a speech by George Galloway took place last night at York University in Toronto.

The speech was sponsored by Muslim organizations and approved by the university administration. York University is known for tolerating Muslim fanaticism. There have been cases, where Jewish students and organizations have been harassed. It even hosts the Israeli Apartheid Week, which is an excuse for promoting anti-Semitism and distorting the reality in the Middle East.

This time, however, York University sank to a new low. Hosting George Galloway, and open supporter of Arab terrorism, is totally inexcusable.

He is a man, who doesn’t have the best taste in choosing clothes:

But above all, his maniacal hate for Israel and the desire to help those who want to destroy that country have put him in hot water on numerous occasions. It is hard to believe that such a person could have any following, but he does.

The Left must have totally lost its ways, if a person like Galloway can serve as its moral compass. Karl Marx said in one of his books that “History repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce.” After the scary tyranny of Lenin and Stalin, the left descended to worshipping Galloway the Clown.

This is Galloway’s second visit to Toronto. Last month he spoke at Trinity-St. Paul’s United Church and promised that he would be back. At the time, there were fewer protesters, however, this time the protest was better organized.
There was a large group of people (probably nearly 300) in the building where Galloway was scheduled to speak. The majority of them were students, but there were also concerned citizens and people from Jewish organizations, like the Jewish Defence League.

The world media is bombarded almost daily with news and videos about the constant “suffering” in Gaza. Clowns like George Galloway and pseudo-scholars like Norman Finkelstein have built their careers on exploiting that information.

Rarely do we have people who dare question the authenticity of that news. One of those people is Philippe Karsenty, a businessman, media consultant and politician, who decided to abandon the tranquility of his life and pursue the truth about the Middle East. Other than clear conscience, he hasn’t derived any benefits from his pursuits.

He presented his findings on November 11 at the Toronto Zionist Centre. The event was organized by the International Free Press Society and their short introduction stated the importance of freedom of speech to protect the overall freedom in our society. The task is difficult. While people like Galloway get wide publicity, fighters for freedom speech like Vilks are ignored. During his visit to North America, all but one of his four events were cancelled due to alleged security issues, even FBI didn’t want to get involved. The city government in Edmonton has started a campaign to eradicate racism (H/T Blazingcatfur) with the active participation of the Human Rights Commission of Alberta.

One may think that the noble goal of that enterprise will be to target all forms of racism. However, when you read carefully the materials published online, it is very clear that the campaign targets mostly the white people. The racism is seen as something that only whites practice.

Probably in Alberta they still have few rednecks, who don’t feel guilty over something that somebody in the USA may or may not have done few hundred years ago.

Here is what they said to the stubborn white people:

“Racial “whiteness” is many things, but one of its consistent qualities is power. As people granted unearned privileges by our own whiteness, and as people who have likely harmed non-white people with our own whiteness, it’s our moral and ethical duty to find ways to combat racism.”

It’s clear and simple – if you are white, you are guilty.

To be fair and honest, I should say that after few angry letters and e-mails, the organizers removed that idiotic text. Yes, there are still few people left in Canada who won’t let anybody walk all over them.

Still, many other anti-racist recommendations are still on the side. One of the important ways to fight racism is through proper pictures:

Visuals. The pictures and other visual representations in our homes should truly be multiracial. Children learn a lot from what they see in their home environment.

Since that requirement is not likely to go away, I wholeheartedly decided to comply with it. Here is the multiracial, multicultural, extremely politically correct poster that now hangs in my living room:

Is it diverse enough? It has them all: Charles Manson, Bob Rae, Mao, Obama, Lizzie Borden, Osama, Jeremiah Wright, Shoko Asahara, Jack Layton, Nancy Pelosi, etc. etc.

I hope it will save me from the Human Rights Police.

In the next leg of his Asian tour, Barack Hussein Obama reached his old playground where he lived for years as a child, where he learned how to worship Islam and spread it all over the world (starting from America).

However, something unexpected happened that involved his feminist fat-fighting wife Michelle.

Indonesia’s Information Minister Tifatul Sembiring, a self-proclaimed Muslim fanatic, vowed not to shake Michelle’s hand, because despite being one of the most influential women in the world, in his world she is just a low-life kafir female.

A devout Muslim should touch only his wives, who are a little bit better than a despicable foreigner.

Although he was determined to ignore her, the videos of the reception show that he was forced to touch her hand. His comment was that she forced the touch on him. He was raped!

That’s another despicable and whining Muslim who officially states that he is treating women like garbage and nobody objects.

What if Putin refuses to shake her hand? He will be branded a boorish tyrant.

And the Indonesian Muslim savage can get away with it, because that is his “distinctive and sophisticated” culture. Actually, he is getting away with it, because if you criticize him, his country will blow you up.

I am not a fan of Michelle Obama, she is too much of a lefty for me. But despite that, she is a lady and she deserves respect. Shaking her hand is the least a decent man can do to show a respect for a lady.

What am I talking about??? Many Muslims can be “decent” only when they beat a woman in a “delicate” way that doesn’t leave scars on the face.

Doesn’t it make you feel like puking if the USA’s First Lady is treated like that? Can you imagine the ordeal the ordinary Indonesian Christians are going through?

When the dhimmi US president Barack Obama went to visit India, he didn’t anticipate any problems. He had all the right words, he had the politically correct opinion about jihad, but there was something he didn’t realize in advance.

Before his arrival, there were quite a few security forces arriving to ensure his safety.

One of those was Khan the Dog. His arrival caused a total uproar among the Muslims in India.

Did he have rabies? Did he bite some of the curry-stinking imams?

No, his did nothing like that. He is a well-behaved working dog. He is not a neurotic Chihuahua or a snotty Poodle.

The entire problem was in his name. The Muslims were furious, because he was called Khan. According to those ignorant Indian Muslims, that was a Muslim name. One of those weirdos said: “In Islam pigs and dogs are abhorrent and giving a dog a Muslim name is the ultimate insult. We are holding a meeting in Malegaon where we would raise this issue. We will give calls to our people through Masjids to protest against this. Muslims will not tolerate such an insult.”

If they had a little bit of intelligence, they would have known that the name Khan has existed long before their petty Arab warlord started their religion.

Since Khan is a working dog, who has earned his living by sniffing explosives planted mostly Muslim fanatics, he has questions of his own.

I asked those questions to my Muslim friends in Toronto, but they laughed me out, because all of them are too busy working to condemn a dog.

So, here are the questions addressed to the Asian Muslims:

Why don’t you work? Is it so difficult?

If you found some time to contribute to the world civilization, wouldn’t you find less irritation in a decent dog’s name?

When are you going to stop raping, shooting and burning alive Christians and Hindus?

Is whining a Muslim’s favourite pastime?

Would you be happier if the dog is called Obama?

Don’t you feel like idiots when you are the only ones who complain about a dog’s name?!

Of course, nobody would dare tell you how ridiculous you are, because you will probably blow him up, burn him, stab him, cut off his hands and feet, behead him, or apply any other of your rich arsenal of things that make people numb and scared.

Roshonara Choudry, a British Muslim terrorist, was sentenced to life in prison for the stabbing of Stephen Timms, a member of the Parliament from the Labour Party.

The crime was executed in the finest tradition of the Muslim taqiyya – hiding your true intention until you get the opportunity to destroy by surprise the infidel you hate.

She bought knives in advance and found out when he was meeting with his constituents. Then she went there, smiled at him and extended her hand for a handshake. Then she stabbed him. She managed to do it only twice, because the people around her stopped her.

However, when she was arrested, she calmly told the police that she was planning to keep stabbing him until he was dead.

What was Timms’s crime? He voted in support of the war in Iraq, that’s why Roshonara sentenced him to death.

Poor Labour Party, it can’t get a break… They flooded England with Muslim immigrants, who do not want to adapt to the Western society, yet get all kinds of welfare benefits. Instead of being grateful to the Great Labour Brother, they are trying to kill him. Read the rest of this entry »

During his current visit to India the US President Barack Obama had a meeting with the students of Mumbai’s St. Xavier College. At the meeting somebody asked him of his opinion about jihad.

True to his weaselly nature, he didn’t give a straight answer, but stated that “the phrase jihad has a lot of meanings within Islam and is subject to a lot of different interpretations”.

The reports go on to note that in his answer he very carefully avoided to say that he was against jihad.

He said that certain forces have distorted the meaning of jihad. And that was stated in the city, which experienced the worst Muslim terrorist attack in recent years, in which Pakistani Muslim slaughtered over 160 people, many of them foreigners.

Of course, that was more than welcomed by the Muslims in India, who rushed to confirm that jihad is just a struggle against injustice and (supposedly) doesn’t involve “killing the innocent”. However, it’s worth noting that “innocent” in their world has a very different meaning than in the West. Many Muslim clerics think that none of the Jews in Israel, regardless of age, are innocent and can be targeted any time.

The reports don’t say what the Indians thought about Obama’s jihad remarks…

He cowardly refused to confront the jihadi violence. But maybe his behaviour wasn’t cowardly, maybe he really meant it that jihad was good.

Probably that is his goal – when he is booted out from office in 2012, with his pro-Islamic views he will be the perfect candidate to lead numerous international organizations dominated by Muslims.

A Jimmy Carter with a turban…

It was reported last Wednesday that Israel’s ties with UNESCO were suspended.

The reason for that measure was that UNESCO or The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization decided to declare Rachel’s Tomb a mosque.

UNESCO demanded  that the Rachel’s Tomb and the Tomb of the Patriarchs, which is a site where other  Biblical Patriarchs and Matriarchs have been buried as well, be removed from Israel’s National Heritage list.

Both of them are located in Bethlehem and Hevron respectively and are an inseparable part of Israel’s over 4,000-year history. They existed long before the creation of the Muslim religion.

For those who follow the strange decisions of the UN and its “cultural” arm UNESCO that’s not surprising at all.

Both organizations are dominated by Muslim fanatics, who take every opportunity to demonize and discredit Israel. The rest of the votes belong to corrupt African dictatorships that have no interest in impartiality. Both organizations are totally useless.

Robbing Israel of her past is just a small part of the general anti-Judeo-Christian bias of UN. By bullying the richer countries, they are trying to extort whatever concessions they can get.

There is nothing new in that policy of UNESCO. In the past they were dominated by the Communist countries and their satellites (many of which were Arab countries). Their outrageous behaviour caused the USA and Great Britain to suspend all ties with UNESCO in the 1980′s.  That was an enormous blow, because both countries were large donors.

At the time, the Communist couldn’t stop whining and blaming the “imperialists”, because they didn’t have the money to match the budget losses.

The USA and Great Britain didn’t compromise, because Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher were leaders with self-respect and dignity. Now things are very different, these countries are led by the community organizer Obama and the pro-Muslim Cameron.

At present, UNESCO is sinking even lower. Last year when they were supposed to elect a new Director, after long deliberations, they left two contenders to compete: Farouk Hosny, an anti-Semitic Egyptian “artist”, and Irina Bokova, a Bulgarian Communist. What an amazing dilemma!

Bokova won, despite the fact that she came from a clan responsible for the suppression of the art and culture in Bulgaria. Her father Georgi Bokov was not only a press censor, but was also personally involved in the murder of a prominent Bulgarian anti-Communist journalist.

What can you expect from an organization, which considers such people as potential leaders?

It is more than clear that culture will be the last thing on their minds. Politics is all that matters to them. And of course, the “Palestinian Authority” is sly enough to take advantage of the situation.

Let’s hope that the leaders of Israel have the dignity of Reagan and Thatcher and stick to their decision. The attempt to strip Israel of her history is an attempt to destroy her present.

During this week’s mid-term elections in the USA, the voters in Oklahoma were asked to consider an amendment to the State Constitution, which will prohibit applying of international law and particularly Sharia Law in the state. Here is the text of the proposition:

“This measure amends the State Constitution. It changes a section that deals with the courts of this state. It would amend Article 7, Section 1. It makes courts rely on federal and state law when deciding cases. It forbids courts from considering or using international law. It forbids courts from considering or using Sharia Law.
International law is also known as the law of nations. It deals with the conduct of international organizations and independent nations, such as countries, states and tribes. It deals with their relationship with each other. It also deals with some of their relationships with persons.

The law of nations is formed by the general assent of civilized nations. Sources of international law also include international agreements, as well as treaties.

Sharia Law is Islamic law. It is based on two principal sources, the Koran and the teaching of Mohammed.

Over 70% of the voters supported the proposition.

Who would have thought that any other result was possible?

It is hard to support a law that requires control over every aspect of people ‘s daily lives . No reasonable person in Oklahoma would consider normal that the adulterers are supposed to be stoned to death. Or that a woman gets from an inheritance only half of what her brother gets.

Or that a woman is treated as a piece of property and she can make decisions only with the consent of her “guardian” (father, husband, older brother, etc.).

It will be hard to swallow the fact that in Sharia if you are gay, you should be put to death, if you convert from Islam to other religion, you will get the same punishment.

Of course, you may think that no reasonable person would accept such primitive and barbaric laws.

You are wrong. There is somebody who thinks that those laws are perfectly acceptable.

That’s CAIR (the Council for American-Islamic Relations). Shortly after the proposition passed, they filed a lawsuit against the State of Oklahoma to reverse it.

We should be grateful for what they did. You see, until recently they tried to present themselves as a wonderful organization that supports the poor Muslims. That support went as far as to demand that Disney’s uniform rules be changed to accommodate a Muslim fanatic.

After they filed that lawsuit, it is more than clear what they want. They want to repel the humane democratic laws established in the USA and replace them with the monstrous Sharia, which will make sure that if you are accused of theft, you will have your hand chopped off.

Thank you CAIR, now even the slowest people can figure out what we are up against!

During his visit to China this week, the Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty announced an “exciting” plan to provide scholarships to mostly Chinese students, which will cost $30 million to the Ontario taxpayers.

The details of the scheme are as follows: we, the taxpayers, will provide 75 students with $40,000 per year for up to 4 years.  In return, the students are supposed to say: “Wow,  you guys have great universities in Ontario!” That’s all he needs in return, because the program is supposed to “boost the profile” of the Ontario universities.

So, what’s wrong with that picture? The Premier apparently has forgotten that the province is in recession. The young people from Ontario are scrambling to find money to finance their own education. And unlike the Chinese students who will study for free and leave to never come back, the young Ontarians will work for their province after they graduate. Read the rest of this entry »

Do you remember the hostage crisis in Lebanon in the 1980’s? At the time, fanatics from what later became Hezbollah, abducted several Westerners  and held them as hostages for years.

One of them was Terry Anderson, a journalist, who in 1985 was abducted from a Beirut street, locked in the trunk and taken to a secret location. He spent six years and nine months in captivity and was released only in the end of 1991.

Well, as usual history repeats itself. Now we have the Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit in the same situation. He was abducted by Hamas terrorists in 2006 during a cross-border raid.

He has been kept at a secret location (probably in Gaza) ever since. As a condition for his release, Hamas wants from Israel to release more than 1000 convicted terrorists from its prisons.

All attempts to visit him or to communicate with him, made by diplomats and his family have failed.

Now Magen David Adom Israel has started a petition to pressure Hamas to allow the Red Cross contact with Shalit (in accordance with the Geneva Convention). The organization is a member of the International Red Cross Movement and Red Crescent Movement.

On October 28, 2010, Norman Finkelstein delivered a lecture in Toronto sponsored by CJPME (Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East). He is an American Jewish scholar, who has been a supporter of Hezbollah, Hamas and few other questionable organizations. At the event he proudly displayed on his jacket’s lapel a pin with the Palestinian flag (thus the title of this post).

For his support of those Muslim extremist organizations, they have bestowed upon him the highest possible “honour” in their hierarchy of values – that they consider him a non-Jew. That’s very similar to what Hitler did. In the cases when he reluctantly wanted to keep a Jew, who was useful to his regime, he used to resolve his moral dilemma by declaring him or her an “Honorary Arian”. That was the case with the conductor Herbert von Karajan’s wife, who was of Jewish background. We could only guess what would have happened to those “Honorary Arians”, had Hitler survived beyond 1945 and they were no longer needed.

The audience was the usual assortment of the types of people common for such an event. There were numerous ladies with hijabs (but unfortunately no niqab/burkas), angry looking young Arab men, tattooed lefties with purple or orange-coloured hair, nostalgic old hippies with white hair, and many others that wore different versions of that ugly chequered scarf, which Arafat utilized to hide his baldness.

Although the organization that put together the event claims that they are supporters of peace, the image they created at the beginning was anything but peaceful. The lady who opened immediately directed the audience’s attention to their website’s “BDS Centre”, i.e. the boycott page. Right now they are boycotting the Mountain Equipment Co-op for its links with Israeli companies. (So far the boycott has been an utter failure, rejected both by the co-op and its customers. No wonder, how can the lefty cyclists afford the higher prices of other bike retailers?)

Press Trust of India reports that the United States  will be spending the mind-blowing sum of $200 million per day on President Barack Obama’s visit to Mumbai, India.

That huge amount will be spent on security, stay and other aspects of Barry’s visit. It’s a remarkable achievement for the guy, who came to power with the promise to redistribute wealth and give dignity to the poorest of the poor.

It is hard to imagine how many years the American workers will spend to pay back the money borrowed from the Chinese for his trip to India. That definitely eclipses Michelle’s rendezvous to Spain.

About 3,000 people of his entourage, including Secret Service agents, US government officials and journalists will be with him. The spending has already started, because numerous officials from the White House and US security agencies have already arrived a week ago with helicopters, a ship and high-end security instruments.

Hey, Barry, what about the carbon footprint of your buddies and your staff? Who is going to pay the tax on that? What a stupid question! Of course, the people who work will pay as always…

Don’t you feel bad that Obama is not on the ballots tonight?

It was reported that the sister-in-law of the former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has converted to Islam.  Lauren Booth experienced her “transformation” while she was in Iran last month. As soon as she returned to England, she decide to act upon her feeling and become a Muslim.

After the conversion she said: “Now I don’t eat pork and I read the Koran every day. I’m on page 60. I also haven’t had a drink in 45 days, the longest period in 25 years.”

Unfortunately, the miraculous change loses some of its glitter when we consider that Booth has worked for a long time for Press TV, an English-language news channel of the terrorist Iranian regime. That also explains why she somehow missed to notice the hundreds of thousands of Iranians, who hate the rule of their little members-only-jacket wearing dictator Ahmadinejad. But what can you do? She needs to earn her paycheck.

Now she will be bugging Tony Blaire even more often than before. Before she was asking him to make the Al-Quds day (the Jerusalem’s takeover day celebrated by Palestinian terrorists) an official British holiday. After her conversion, she will definitely remind Blair that his conversion to Catholicism missed the point and that banning pork in England will help his salvation . In his new role as mid-East envoy he will be more useful, if he becomes a Muslim as well.

Obviously, the Muslim insanity runs in the family, because few years ago her sister Cherie Booth/Blair successfully contributed to introducing Muslim bigotry in the British schools by successfully defending the “right” of a burka-clad student to wear her monstrous garment in school.

Still, we are left to wonder what will happen to Lauren’s husband and her two beautiful girls, who as of this writing are not Muslim. Will she leave them to languish in darkness or is she going to use on them the friendly persuasive powers of the Iranian virtue police, with the choice, convert or die?

It’s a psychotic family, beyond any doubt… With these “wonderful” women at his side, how long would it take Tony Blair to convert as well?

I wonder why  I can’t imagine Sir Winston Churchill in the same situation…

Last week George Smitherman lost to Rob Ford in the Toronto mayoral elections. The margin in the results was very wide and well deserved. It was a no-brainer: Smitherman lacked any comprehensible plan. Beside that, he was supported by the mighty Liberal machine, which fact promptly reminded the voters that he was an inseparable part of the happy spenders, who are bankrupting Ontario.

His record as an Ontario health minister was difficult to ignore as well. Who can forget the eHealth money-squandering operation?

However, during the last days of the campaign another issue came up. It was Smitherman’s sexual orientation. Frankly, before that I didn’t pay much attention to it, but some bloggers already wrote about its possible implications (like Five Feet of Fury). So, the issue probably deserves further discussion.

An anti-Smitherman ad ran on a Tamil radio station, which specifically targeted his sexual orientation. There were also reports of flyers attached to election lawn signs, urging Tamils and Muslims not to vote for a gay man. (The attempts to blame them on Ford’s campaign were beyond laughable.)

Did homophobia play a role in Smitherman’s defeat? Yes, it did, but not in the way most people think. Read the rest of this entry »
