Feng Shui Multiculturalism

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

The Canadian multiculturalism has delivered another blow on common sense. It was announced few days ago that the University of British Columbia has put on hold the plans to build a hospice on its campus. The reason for that were the objections of a group of Chinese people, who live in condominium building nearby. They believed that a building full of dying people will disturb the feng shui balance – their daily lives will be put in disarray due to the negative energy emitted by the hospice.

This incident may look insignificant, but it is symptomatic of the level to which our country has descended since the time when the philandering Mr. Trudeau shoved multiculturalism down Canada’s collective throat. At the time the issue wasn’t discussed widely, maybe people thought that he was opening the country to the best and brightest of the world cultures. Instead Canada was flooded with bizarre believes, which according to the dogmas of multiculturalism must be treated as equal to the Western culture.

In this case, according to the press, the Chinese condominium residents probably had two reasons to do what they did. The first one was the fear of dropping property values. Reportedly each one of them paid over one million dollars for their condominiums and they won’t be able to get that much when reselling them to the next sucker. But since you can’t count this as a legitimate reason, they played the multicultural card. Whatever the real reason, their behaviour is beyond appalling: to deny dying people a facility for your selfish reasons doesn’t put them very high on the scale of morality. If the developers were proposing a strip club or an Irish pub they might have had a legitimate objection, but to oppose a hospice that will be guaranteed to be quiet is really low.

But that’s the way the Chinese parvenus act: after making their money by selling substandard junk to the West produced by child labour or severely exploited workers, they think that the money they have gives them a free pass to do whatever they want. In China they would’ve dealt with the issue in a simple way by just making the demand to the local authorities who are dependent on them. Since China still hasn’t bribed enough politicians in Canada to follow the whims of those “Canadians”, they put into play the most stupid and primitive elements of the Chinese culture.

The funny thing about their demand is how they defended it. The Globe and Mail in its coverage of the case quotes a certain Ms. Janet Fan, apparently a spokeswoman for the group, who says: “It is all about cultural sensitivity. We came here as new immigrants with our own belief system. And in our beliefs, it is impossible for us to have dying people in our backyard.”

I want to stop for a minute and think about that statement. Saying that the woman is viciously arrogant would be an understatement. She and the people behind her can serve as a poster child of the essence of multiculturalism and what’s wrong with it: a group of low-life opportunists come to Canada with the goal to exploit it misguided tolerance with a primitive, stone-age worthy belief and they have absolutely no intention to adapt. The stupid Canadians must accept their belief, no matter what.

Feng Shui is a primitive superstition with no basis in reality. The fact that millions of people in China believe in it doesn’t make it more valid. And the fact that enterprising swindlers are selling it to naïve Canadians through the Learning Annex or the web doesn’t add more credibility either. After all, don’t forget that many millions in medieval Europe believed in witchcraft and you probably remember what was the result of that.

My first encounter with feng shui was long time ago when I used to work for a small hotel in Toronto owned by a Taiwanese family. They were Canadian citizens, but lived in Taiwan just like many other “Canadians” who live in their respective countries and remember Canada only when they need something from her. At least the Taiwanese family was paying taxes on their Toronto property.

One day we found a large kitschy painting in the hotel’s storage room.  It showed a picture of a river flowing toward the observer. We decided to hang it in the lobby facing the front door. The next month, the owners came from Taiwan for their regular visit. Upon entering the lobby and seeing the picture, the matron of the family started to yell something in Chinese. The Chinese girl who worked there explained to me that according to feng shui, water flow meant money. And by pointing the flow toward the door, we let the money go away. The picture must be facing the front desk where the money should go.

We moved the picture within minutes. Did it change anything? Not at all. And I didn’t need feng shui to tell you why. The hotel was run on a shoestring, with repairs done only if absolutely necessary, after finding the cheapest possible company in Chinatown. It was no wonder that we couldn’t charge any decent price for the stay.

You may say that the westerners are no better with their astrology and palmistry, but can you imagine how the authorities will treat anybody here who tries to justify his or her objection to something through astrology and palmistry? They will laugh them out. Yet they cave in when feng shui is used as a reason even though it is exactly as stupid as astrology and palmistry.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but weren’t the universities supposed to be temples of science and truth created to destroy the darkness of ignorance? Why then the University of British Columbia backed off under the pressure of an ancient superstition? Where they bribed by them? The answer is simple: if the condominium Chinese had gone to complain to the Human Rights Commission, it would have cost the university a big chunk of money.

Those commissions act exactly like the medieval inquisition, upholding the most bizarre beliefs and actions and charging institutions, businesses and individuals thousands of dollars just because they dared to oppose those beliefs.

Of course, the university should know that they may have a chance of winning because in the reverse discrimination scale of the Human Rights Commissions, the rich Chinese don’t have a very high status. They are not deprived enough, even though they are higher than the whites.

If the hospice was designed for overweight white Christian men with Anglo-Saxon names who have voted for Harper and they are dying of diabetes, there will be no chance of winning. The dying will probably be shipped in cattle trucks to the deepest rain forests of British Columbia to die in obscurity.

However, if the hospice was to be used by lesbian Haitian converts to Islam, who are dying of AIDS, the commission may decide that the luxury Chinese condominiums nearby are a far better option to house them.

That’s not funny. Things in our country have deteriorated to the point where the traditional Western culture is pushed systematically into the sewer of history and the quasi-cultures that are trying to take over have to fight with each other to establish supremacy.

Actually it will be funny for the Westerners to watch how those “cultures” devour each other. Many Muslims can firmly state just like Ms. Fan that they came to Canada with their own “belief system”. How long would it take before the Muslims demand shutting down Chinese restaurants, because the fumes of the pork cooked there offends their cultural sensitivity? And since they also have a strong belief in their righteousness, their demand should be granted. The anti-pork belief is as stupid as the feng shui belief so it will be hard to decide which stupidity is superior from the viewpoint of political correctness.

From the same point of view, an African witch doctor may ask for the same license as a Western medical doctor. That will be easy to justify: the Western doctor is a servant of “big pharma” who poisons his patients with useless chemicals, while the witch doctor is an oppressed shaman close to nature who mobilizes the natural forces to cure people (and he fights colonialism as a side business).

Isn’t anybody bothered by that monstrous travesty of justice?! Using primitive beliefs to fight dying people is a disgrace to that part of the Chinese community, which is involved in this incident. Where are the educated Chinese scientists and engineers to condemn what happened? It is natural to think that they would be above the superstitions. Their silence implies that they are not against the attack on reason. They probably feel comfortable when the culture that created the country they were willing to immigrate to is destroyed as long as their homeland’s superstitions are doing the job of destruction.

And what about the politicians? Olivia Chow, the most prominent Canadian politician of Chinese background hasn’t said a word either. Last year she went out of her way to confront the statements of the CSIS director Richard Fadden and even managed to censor his book, in which he stated that China is spying on Canada.  Everybody knows that China is doing that in many countries, including here. China maintains spies in all industrialized nations.

In her propaganda materials that she sends me often (I am her constituent), Olivia champions the cause of the underprivileged. Here is her opportunity to take the side of the dying people against the arrogance of the rich Chinese parvenus. Is she going to do it? Of course she won’t, if she keeps silent, she will keep getting those donations and would never be deprived of the precious Chinese votes.

Her son (or stepson or whatever) Mike Layton recently joined the family NDP business as a Toronto councillor from Trinity-Spadina. His first action in his new position was to waste the council’s time by involving it in a harassment campaign against MacLeans Magazine for publishing an article that supposedly offended the Chinese.  That is the second attack against the magazine after the Arabs sued it few years ago. Obviously, the multicultural police don’t like any objective discussion. Jack and Olivia must be proud of him for maintaining the family legacy of fighting against our country’s traditions.

Maybe we should remind those feng shui enthusiasts that it is not acceptable in Canada to justify your greed and arrogance with superstitions (at least for now, until the Human Rights Commission outlaws reason and logic). And as for the Layton-Chow family, they should be aware that their Chinese masters are not the only people who live in the Trinity-Spadina area. Catering to greedy parvenus who think that they can turn Canada into a miniature China is not a political strategy that will ensure the family’s political future, unless the thinking Canadians lose their minds.

Opening the door to that insane Chinese superstition will definitely bring a flood of even more insanity coming from many other parts of the world, which will eventually obliterate everything that our country stood for.  But probably that’s the not-so-deeply hidden plan of multiculturalism.

The Spoiled Jew-Hate Fest

JDL-protest-January-18

JDL protests the hate fest

The heavily advertised anti-Israeli event titled SPEAKING THE UNSPEAKABLE: EXPOSING ISRAELI APARTHEID AND THE VIOLATION OF PALESTINIAN RIGHTS took place this evening in Toronto. At the last moment, the location was changed from OISE to the George Ignatieff Theatre. As promised, JDL was there to protest.

The audience consisted of mostly white middle-aged people and students. There were very few Arab men and not a single hijab-wearing girl, who are usually a fixture at such events. That was very surprising: did even Muslims abandon that movement?

During the whole presentation, the voices of the JDL protesters who were determined to make their point, could be heard clearly inside.

JDL-protest-January-18-3

The speakers were sitting at a table on the stage covered with a white tablecloth with blue one on top of it. Ironically, the combination resembled the Israeli flag although it probably wasn’t done on purpose.

Originally there were 5 speakers scheduled to appear, but the only one who possessed some resemblance of credibility, the Toronto Star columnist Antonia Zerbisias chickened out and didn’t show up. Maybe she had the revelation that appearing with a bunch of loons was not in her best professional interest.

However, the rest had no problem appearing. They were Khaled Mouammar from the Canadian Arab Federation, Tim McCaskell (Queers Against Israeli Apartheid), Jenny Peto (Coalition Against Israeli Apartheid), and Vivian Douglas, activist from Students against Israeli Apartheid.

JDL-protest-January-18-5

The moderator, a feminist teacher of sociology from the Mississauga campus, started by stating that even after the Gaza “massacre” ended, the Palestinians are still discriminated, which caused the boycott against Israel to continue (at that moment Peto started to applaud followed by the most of the audience). The BDS movement expanded after the Gaza events. Then she read the list of the organizations, which endorsed the event, an odd collection of extreme leftists, self-loathing Jews, unions and Muslims.

To make sure that everybody understood that the insanity was the main rule of the gathering, she announced that she would conduct “equity chairing” – meaning that during the Q&A session in the end the first ones allowed to speak would be women, queers and “persons of colour”. Everybody caught using a camera or interrupting the speakers will be kicked out. Well, it was nice to know that the feminazi thinking is alive and kicking at the University of Toronto.

The first one to speak was Khaled Mouammar. He was presented as having been an activist for over 30 years. He even served at the Refugee Board and now he is the head of the Canadian Arab Federation. I suppose he is a Canadian citizen, but recently he lobbied openly against his own country when Canada took steps to get a seat on the UN Security Council (that was probably the best thing Khaled has done in his life, because Canada has no place in an organization controlled by religious fanatics and third-world thieves). Tokyo Confronts the Chinese Bully

Tokyo protests against China

tokyo-demonstration-december-2010

The sign is more than clear

 tokyo-demonstration-december-2010-6

A fascinating event took place in Tokyo last December. It was a demonstration against the Chinese provocation in the Senkaku islands area and the clumsy way in which the Japanese government dealt with it. Last summer a Chinese “fishing boat” confronted vessels of the Japanese coast guard. The captain was arrested, which made China furious and it demanded apology and compensation. The Japanese government caved in and released him without any further action.

The organizer was Gambare Nippon, an action committee for Japan.

Several thousand people gathered at one of the large Tokyo parks carrying Japanese flags. The demonstration was peaceful, the organizers specifically asked the participants to keep order. That wasn’t necessary, because the people were peaceful anyway.

All they used to make their point were posters and signs.

This was in sharp contrast with the anti-Japanese demonstrations in China organized because of the same incident, where they damaged Japanese restaurants and burned Japanese flags.

China's "civilized" protest

Every participant brought a flag and you could see a sea of Japanese flags were at the Tokyo demonstration (although I saw some Tibetan flags as well).

Then the participants marched through the streets of Tokyo, greeted and cheered by the people in the streets. There was no violence or hostility shown whatsoever, although they passed by few Chinese restaurants. Read the rest of this entry »

Global Warming Apocalypse Postponed until Year 3000

According to the latest predictions of the environmental “scientists” (link), the mankind is facing an ecological disaster if no measures are taken to put under control the green gas emissions, specifically the carbon dioxide.

Sounds familiar? Don’t we get that scare every day? No, this time it’s different. The scientists say that if we don’t take measures by 2100, we will suffer grave consequences in 3000.

So what happened to the imminent catastrophe that we were facing? I, like everybody else, clearly remember how Al Gore and the rest of the global warming scaremongers were throwing around warnings like ancient prophets just before the start of every major (and not so major) environmental summit. It was always the same – if we don’t build those electricity producing windmills everywhere, if we don’t stay in the cold, the planet will perish.

When you threaten enough times and nothing happens, you become a laughing stock to everybody. It’s just like with the preachers who thunder that the end of the world is coming soon. If that doesn’t happen, they lose all their credibility. That’s why some of them postpone the end to distant future.

Probably the environmental scientists followed their example. If they put off the disaster for the distant future, they can still scare people. Of course, the effect would not be as strong as before (when the end was scheduled for the next year), but at least they will be able to keep money from grants pouring in and nobody would be able to keep them accountable.

Obama’s Arizona Memorial Circus

The recent tragedy in Tucson, Arizona, where a lefty pothead shot and killed several people and wounded the Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, was marked by Obama and his administration at a special event in the city.

One may think that this was a nice gesture of respect for the victims, but in reality it was a slightly subdued continuation of Obama’s partisan politics. Let’s not forget that immediately after the shooting the Left began a smear campaign blaming conservatives for it. Their simple logic was that if a Democratic Congresswoman has been shot, the killer must have been inspired by Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin.

When the real facts about the perpetrator emerged, the Left grudgingly reduced the number of accusations.  So the event in Tucson was supposed to unite people, but the things didn’t work that way.

First of all, it took place at the University of Arizona, where most of the audience were college kids. In the good traditions of the Democratic Party all of them wore blue t-shirts so that nobody may forget who is in charge.

The university president set from the very beginning a tone of behaviour suitable more for a sporting event. The college kids were cheering and shouting all the time, as if they were at a basketball game. The only thing missing was a cheerleading squad behind the speakers and girls with short skirts and trays selling beer and snacks. Read the rest of this entry »

An Open Letter to Stewart Bell (National Post)

An anti-Israel event is planned to take place in Toronto next week. Here is a letter that makes sense out of it:

Dear Mr. Bell:

Re:  “National Post Story:  Controversial
anti-Islamic group plans rally in Toronto”

Let me begin by recommending that you take the time to read the Hudson Institute’s well researched, and balanced article “The English Defense League:  The New Face of Europe?” – A. Miller

http://www.hudson-ny.org/1562/english-defense-league

Negligent immigration, social policies, and trade deals, have created very serious problems throughout the entire EU.  Groups like the EDL, SIOE, etc. are putting their lives on the line, to defend freedom and Western civilization from Islamic Fascism, and are not enemies of democracy.  The real enemies of democracy are:

(1) Corrupt EU governments and politicians that have crawled into bed with Islamic Fascists, (reminiscent of those who did the same with Nazi Fascists) – betraying the citizens they are sworn to protect.

(2) Marxists in the mainstream press who continually whitewash the truth about Islamic Fascism;

(3) Academics in Universities, who willfully corrupt and brainwash students (sometimes using intimidation tactics) to serve their Marxist/Islamist agenda;

(4) Corporations involved in business deals with the Saudis and other Islamists; and

(5) Islamic Fascists, who are highly financed by Saudi Arabia, Iran, etc., and encouraged to wage War against the Infidel and the West.

Europe’s problems with Islamic Fascists foreshadow what is coming to Canada.  Islamic attacks against innocent people of all ages, races, and religions, have manifested into:  beatings that frequently cause facial disfigurement, or permanent physical and brain damage; kidnappings and agonizing torture leading to the death of the victim; murders by stabbing or beatings, etc; gang rapes of females from all age groups – including very young children and the elderly; forced prostitution of young school girls, etc.

Roving gangs of Islamist thugs are wreaking havoc and heartache, in every EU country.  They are encouraged by Islamist clerics and community leaders to view non-Muslims and Secular Muslims as fair game, because attacks against the Infidel are appropriate actions in Islam’s Jihad against the West.  Read the rest of this entry »

Lefty Loons Attack JDL

G20-riots-toronto-2010

The revolutionaries are ready to take over the world

neturei-karta-toronto-2010

Why don't we just shut down Israel?

Why is it that whenever I travel, I miss the most exciting events in Toronto? That’s what happened yesterday: as my airplane was touching ground at the Pearson airport, JDL-Canada was holding an event in support of the English Defense League.

So I missed the event, but there were enough people present there to tell what happened (see Blazingcatfur). Apparently as all members and guests of JDL were peacefully conducting their rally in the building, a small group of about 20 mad “progressives” in front of the Zionist Centre did their best to disturb them. Across the street they had another group with approximately the same number. While the police were trying to get the situation under control, few of those wackos attacked an officer who had to be taken to the hospital (reportedly with broken ribs). As a result several people were arrested.

Who were the people present there? Judging from the list of the organizations that endorsed the protest, they were members of the following:

anti-JDL-groups

It’s a nice list: insane revolutionaries, pro-Muslim activists, Arabs, self-loathing Jews and many others in between. The only odd fact is that the impressive number of 32 world-changing organizations managed to produce only about 40 protesters. It all sounds too familiar to me, I have seen them all before, which brings us to the pictures in the beginning of this post. I took both of them during the G20 Summit riots in Toronto last summer. Vladimir Putin’s Kangaroo Court at Blueberry Hill

Just before the end of 2010 it was reported the former Russian oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky, who has already been in jail for several years, was convicted if a new crime and sentenced to 14 years.

His previous sentence was handed down to punish him and his company (Yukos) for not paying taxes. This time he and his partner Lebedev were accused of stealing about two thirds of the company’s production (over 200 million barrels of oil) over a period of several years. The prosecutors didn’t bother to explain how they failed to notice that during the first trial. They didn’t answer the question about how the company was able to operate for years despite such a monumental theft.

Moreover, two weeks before the end of the trial, the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin openly stated in a TV interview that Khodorkovsky was guilty and would be sentenced (despite the fact that the Russian courts are supposedly independent).

That shows how important a role Putin plays in Russia’s affairs. He can influence the outcome of court proceedings just like Lenin and Stalin did in the good old times. The issue here is not Khodorkovsky’s guilt. He probably committed some transgressions just like the other Russian oligarchs: after all most of them became billionaires without any previous business experience.

They all were products of the shady period when Yeltsin privatized Russia’s natural resources industries at fire-sale prices. During Khodorkovsky’s first trial the masses in Russia applauded Putin for cutting off the tentacles of the “World Jewish Conspiracy” failing to notice that many others of the oligarchy were also Jews, yet the mighty president didn’t touch them.

Khodorkovsky’s problem was that he took the idea of democracy in Russia seriously. He thought that he could fight Putin politically and win. He was wrong.

Although a simple KGB officer (or because of that), Putin understood the Russian soul much better. After a short flirt with democracy after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Russian masses were too scared of living on their own; they needed again somebody to lean on. Putin was the perfect fit to fill that gap.

Now he is lauded as the man who restored Russia’s might after the dangerous experiments of the drunkard Yeltsin. Of course, he only restored the illusion of power, because with the media and the opposition under tight control, they feel the same old tranquility they had in the Soviet Union. In reality, however, from the point of view of the economy, Russia has gained very little. The country’s fiscal fortunes directly depend on the swings of the raw materials’ prices. The men’s life expectancy is only 59 years, lower than in the most third-world countries. The Russian army is only a shadow of its old self.

However, for the thinking of the average Russian all that is irrelevant. He can endure cold and hunger just for the illusion that his country and her wise leader can kick everybody’s ass.

It is excusable for the ordinary Russians to have such feelings for a mediocre KGB officer. After all, they have never ever had democracy in their country.

It is funny though how that mediocrity is eulogized by some Westerners.  There was a fundraiser recently in Russia, which Vladimir Putin attended. Among the participants were numerous movie celebrities, like Jeff Bridges, Sharon Stone, Goldie Hawn, Gerard Depardieu, etc. etc. You can see the video below.

Putin decided to express his artistic talents. He started with a piano solo, in which he showed the skills of a kindergarten piano school reject. Still not satisfied, he took the stage to sing. He performed Fats Domino’s Blueberry Hill. Frankly, if he were an ordinary person, his performance would have had him booed out even of a third-rate karaoke joint.

However, the most entertaining part of the video was to watch the actors’ reactions. Those supposedly highly skilled entertainers were applauding and clapping as if they were watching Elvis or Little Richard in their prime.  Sharon Stone’s glazy stare revealed that probably deep inside she was floating with Putin in a wet dream.

That’s not new. The Western intelligentsia had proven time after time that they would follow even the most pathetic and disgusting dictator, if he fights capitalism. George Bernard Shaw and H.G. Wells admired Lenin and Stalin, despite of being aware of their bloody crimes. Paul Robeson loved Stalin and even sent his son to study in the Soviet Union during the worst years of the 1930’s terror. And let’s not forget how much Oliver Stone admires Castro and Chavez.

One needs to question the sanity of those people. By fighting capitalism, they risk losing the millions of dollars that the “rotten system” provided for them. In a “progressive society” nobody makes much money other than the dictator and his cronies.

400,000-Year Old Palestinian Tooth Found in Israel

Actually, that’s not true. Or better said, it’s only partially true.

Israeli archaeologists really discovered such a tooth in the prehistoric cave of Qesem located in central Israel. The cave was discovered in 2000. They have never found human remains that old before. The oldest bones found before are only half that age.

The title is supposed to express my premonition about what is to be expected to happen with that discovery. The Palestinians are willing to claim as their own every artefact on the territory of Israel, no matter how unsubstantiated and ridiculous those claims are. That’s no wonder, since they desperately try to fill up with events their made-up history.

The Western Wall is Palestinian property and has no significance for the Jews.

The Dead Sea scrolls are Palestinian (they never bother to explain why the ancient “Palestinians” wrote in Hebrew).

The Rachael’s Tomb is a Muslim mosque.

No other, but Arafat claimed that Jesus was the first Palestinian martyr, although he didn’t comment on why Jesus visited synagogues so often.

There is no reason to believe that the tooth would have a different fate. Either Hamas or Fatah will state how it proves that the Palestinians existed in Israel 400,000 years before the Jews. Abbas will claim sovereignty over the cave and make it an inseparable part of the “Palestinian State”.

And the tooth will get its own museum paid for by the European benefactors of the Palestinians…
