Well, only the first half of the title is true – at the recent G8 meeting Canada (along with the USA, Russia and Japan) informed the other countries that we are not going to join the second round of the carbon cuts insanity.

As of David Suzuki, it would have been nice if his outrage at that betrayal really forced him to move to Denmark, a country whose landscape has been “pleasantly” destroyed by the power producing windmills. Unfortunately, he is still here – where else, except in British Columbia, would he be able to find such a gullible audience for his environmental lunacy?

We’ll be condemned to watch for years to come his dreadful commercials promoting pigtail light bulbs, which are not only expensive, but also dangerous due to the mercury they contain.

Even with Suzuki remaining in Canada, the news is wonderful. The global warming scam has been mortally wounded. USA never took the Kyoto Protocol seriously – Bill Clinton signed it in 1997, but the Senate under him unanimously refused to implement it (ironically, the Agence France-Presse news claims that it was George W. Bush who refused the ratification, which is a lie, but in Europe Bush is guilty for everything).

The implementation of the carbon cuts in the Russian industry would be suicidal. Japan really tried to implement the requirements of the Protocol, but with the latest earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster, even the lip service to the environmental madness would be a catastrophe for the incompetent government of Naoto Kan.  The country must first survive before shoving any green fraud schemes down the throats of its citizens.

As of Canada, Prime Minister Chretien signed it to show our “moral superiority” over the Yankee brutes, but had enough brains to do nothing about implementing the Protocol. During the last election campaign “Whorehouse Jack” Layton and the mad professor Michael Ignatieff tried to resurrect it, offering increased taxes and other green schemes, but you all know what happened in the end.

Of course, the die-hard supporters of the scam like Germany and the Scandinavian countries would persist for a while. Germany is going to close down all of its nuclear power plants and restrict the other “dirty” energy sources. Its government is trying to promote “reduced needs” among the population. That’s a nice dream in the heads of their Green Party idiots, but just wait and see when the industrial output falls and millions of people become unemployed. With such mistreatment of its own population, Germany would pave the way for a new Hitler. Do we really need to live through that all over again?

The most entertaining part of those environmental doomsday predictions is that they promise the demise of the world by a certain date. And the date never comes… I collect books with the predictions of famous psychics (like Jane Dixon) which were published in the 1960’s and 1970’s – the common thread in all of them is that none of their prediction for the future of our world came true.

You may say that now we deal with environmental scientists instead of psychics, but the result is exactly the same. A funny article appeared in Guardian in October 2005 claiming that by the year 2010 as many as 100 million people will live in areas, which are under sea level. Over 50 million of them would be forced to relocate, because their lands would be submerged. Among other things, the article stated that New Zealand has agreed to take in the whole population of the Polynesian nation of Tuvalu.

Nothing of that came true – the human impact on nature even today is minuscule. However, can you imagine the billions of dollars transferred to the crooks from the United Nations by gullible nations (like Japan) to fight the” imminent disaster”?

Most of the money went into the bank accounts of corrupt Third World UN diplomats, financed useless organizations or was spent by the UN staff on first class flights, gourmet food and expensive whores. In mid-May a bunch of Indian thugs occupied a part of High Park in Toronto under the pretence that it was their ancient burial ground. Their excuse was that the bikers, who were conducting their (illegal) races in the area desecrated the “cemetery”. The mainstream press reported the incident and the City Hall provided the occupiers with a portable toilet and a tool shed for the shovels they were supposed to use to restore the grounds.

The newspapers quickly found out that the cemetery excuse was a hoax. However, nothing more would have happened, if the activities of that group – Red Power United – didn’t attract the attention of the alternative press. This is a criminal and racist group of Native extremists, who try to accomplish their goals through intimidation and terror.

Those events eventually alerted two organizations, which have been fighting the Native bullying for years – CANACE (Canadian Advocates for Charter Equality) and Caledonia Victims Project. They have stood for the victimized and terrorized citizen of Caledonia (Ontario) who suffered from the intimidation of Indian criminals supported by the Ontario Government and the Ontario Provincial Police.

One of the most amazing facts about their respective leaders – Gary McHale and Mark Vandermaas – was that they were arrested not so long ago for raising the Canadian flag in Caledonia. This is such a unique case, that they should report it to the Guinness Book of World Records – I have never heard of a situation, where the regular police of a democratic country would arrest two law-abiding citizens for raising the official flag of that country. Even the barbarians in Saudi Arabia wouldn’t do something like that.

The organizations scheduled a protest against the occupation for Saturday, May 28. It was supposed to start at the Grenadier Restaurant in High Park from where the participants were to walk to the occupied area.

 

There was something ominous in that event – the arrival of those people in Toronto reminded me of the appearance of the ghost of the Christmas future in “Christmas Carol” with the premonition of something bad happening, if we don’t listen to them. The only difference being that the bad things would happen not to the evil Scrooge, but to the hapless Bob Cratchit (Toronto is much closer to his character).

Of course, the mainstream media didn’t miss the event. A reporter from CBC (who looked native) showed up shortly after 2 p.m. and interviewed first Mark Vandermaas and then Gary McHale. The interesting thing about her was that she tried very hard to spin the protest into something insignificant – she said that the case was exaggerated, there was only an overnight stay by the Natives and then they were replaced by volunteers to repair the grounds.

 

I wonder if she received her education at the Pravda University of Journalism, but the truth is different – several days after the occupation started, I went there and saw the tents and the “Mohawk Warriors” flag with the Natives sleeping. I wrote about that here.

Mark was obviously used to such shallow provocations – he rebutted her points one by one. He pointed out that Red Power United has advocated for years criminal occupation, service disruptions and violence to achieve their goals, even though many Natives don’t support them. He asked what would happen if someone created a group named White Power United – they would be jailed right away. Yet the native criminals have been tolerated by the authorities for years. Why should they be above the law? He also mentioned that on May 23, 2011, Harrison Friesen (the thugs’ leader) posted a video that if the City ignores his demands, he will come back and build a camp in High Park.

 

According to Mark, the issue is the trend created – in Caledonia the occupation, which brought violence, started the same way, with a very few people starting it and the violent radicals joining later. Gary, who joined the conversation, added that once a precedent is established allowing them to occupy land without reason, they may start occupying residential areas. The reporter didn’t have much to say in response – you can’t manipulate a person who knows the facts.

Aside from the reporters, there were two representatives of the City, one of whom worked for the parks department.

Shortly after the interview, we all walked to the occupied area, followed by a large number of police officers on bikes.

 

 

When we reached the place, I saw that it was still surrounded by a fence, although the tents and the flags were gone. The City people stated that it was needed until the rejuvenation is completed, although initially it was announced that the fence will keep everybody but the Indians from the place (let’s hope that this is true).

 

I saw inside two guys with shovels working. However, here is what bothered me – when the “warriors” occupied the place, they were telling everybody that they were restoring it, but they didn’t do any work whatsoever (that’s why I called them “lazy Indians”). A person, who doesn’t like to work is lazy, do you have any objections to that definition?

Today we saw that the two guys finished just about 2 square meters of the ground, the rest was flat and dead as it was before. That’s probably one hour’s work – and I have the bad feeling that the parks department started the work right before the demonstration to show that they are doing something.

 

 

But don’t worry – I’ll be sure to go back to check if any work is done or if everything is a sham to keep that part of the park segregated.

After listening to detailed explanation from the City guys about they are going to do rejuvenate the area, we all left.

 

 

Upon leaving, both Mark and Gary talked to the police officers – both were pleasantly surprised by the civilized and polite behaviour of the Toronto Police. It was in a stark contrast with what the Ontario Provincial Police forced them to endure.

 

 

On our way back, I talked to Mark about the situation in Caledonia. There was not much to cheer about. The thugs were still there – now they own the whole lot with the housing development that the McGuinty government bought from the local residents. The Indians demolished all houses and left one where they live. All the utilities of that house are paid by the government.

A few months ago the local residents placed a small monument to commemorate the events that happened. Within minutes, the Indians destroyed the monument and burned the Canadian flag, while OPP were watching.

I can’t help but wonder: how much longer would the Canadians tolerate that double legal standard? A large number of the natives are “professional sufferers” who extort money from us in every possible way with the help of lefty loons.

The federal Ministry of the Indian and Northern Affairs is a huge welfare office, which gives away billions and billions of dollars to kill the initiative in the Natives and keep them in poverty. On the Ministry’s website it is stated that “In Aboriginal communities, Elders are keepers of traditional teachings and language. They are greatly respected for their life experience and wisdom, and members of the community often seek their counsel.” Yet those “elders” take huge amount of the subsidies for themselves. Last year huge misappropriations were uncovered - for example, an Indian chief of a community of about 300 people was getting over $900,000 tax free.

Is there any solution to this disastrous situation? What about treating all Canadians equally under the law?

We can simply abolish that money – wasting Ministry and let all Natives work like everybody else. Or if they want to keep their lands, the courts must decide all land claims once and for all. Once they have the territories, in which they even now consider themselves “sovereign nations”, they should start acting as such – developing their own businesses and agriculture without any welfare payments from us.

Maybe one day somebody in the government would get enough courage to tackle that problem, but I don’t bet on it…

It was a gruelling experience – stuck for over eight hours with a bunch of mad lefties in a poorly ventilated City Hall committee room and forced to listen to their inane ramblings. Unfortunately, there was no other choice, it was May 24, the day they scheduled the debate over the report to the Toronto City Council about Queers Against Israeli Apartheid (QuAIA).

The “progressives” and the activists of the “queer community” confronted the Jews and other people who didn’t like anti-Semitism.

So many signed up to make their points that Mayor Rob Ford had to cut the time of the presentations from 5 to 4 minutes. The issues to be discussed were whether the expression “Israeli apartheid” should be considered discriminatory and whether the gay parade must be denied funding if they allow QuAIA to take part in this year’s events.

 

 

The opponents of that sinister anti-Semitic organization included university professors, lawyers, professionals, a representative of CJC, JDL’s Director Meir Weinstein, the Jewish organization Kulanu and many other people.

The common thread in all of their speeches was the absurdity of the term “Israeli apartheid”. Speaker after speaker emphasized that there is no separation by ethnic or any other principle in Israel. The hospitals treat equally Jews, Arabs, and Christians. All parks and other public places are used equally by everybody, while the Arab countries, which QuAIA supports, discriminate against non-Muslims, and especially Jews.

The Arabs in Israel can vote and even elect their own parties, there are Arab members of the Knesset. They can serve in the army, hold government positions and serve as judges in Israeli courts.

 

 

Many facts were presented that while the gay movement accepts QuAIA, it ignores the plight of the homosexuals in the Arab countries, where they are discriminated, mutilated and killed. They have never been given any rights in those countries, while in Israel they are guaranteed full protection under the law. Israel even has two gay parades every year – in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

QuAIA is anti-Semitic in its nature – although they state they are anti-Zionist, they actively support the BDS movement, whose purpose is to destroy the Israeli economy through boycott and sabotage. The final goal of BDS is bring an economic collapse to the Jewish state, destroying it politically.

 

One of the presenters even showed pictures from the last year’s parade showing people from QuAIA having swastikas on their shirts.

 

All of those speakers were very articulate and logical.

Unfortunately, that’s not a statement I can apply to the other side. The lefty menagerie wasn’t completely in touch with reality. Instead of logic, you could see only emotions, divided into two distinct styles of presentation – the sob story and the militant Jew-hatred.

The sob story people chose to ignore QuAIA and concentrated on how heartless it would be to defund the gay parade. The militants went into a direct attack against the Jews, spewing lies with the hope that nobody would have the time to verify their statements.

 

Representative of the first group was a young man, who managed the volunteers at the parade. His point was that if there is no city money, many young people would never be able to get their volunteering experience at the gay parade. He didn’t mention QuAIA at all. Well, young men, women and unidentified, why don’t you get an experience by getting some REAL jobs?

Then we had that wacky Arab girl, who said that when Desmond Tutu visited Israel he said that the apartheid situation was ten times worse than in South Africa during the “real apartheid”. The statement caused a hearty laugh in the audience, but that’s the beauty of public presentation – nobody can check on
your statements. Is Tutu that senile now?

 

In a class of her own was an elderly woman, who was representing an organization of parents of gay youth. She had the looks of the proverbial “sweet old lady”, but there was nothing sweet about her views. She chastised the Mayor that since he signed recently some kind of a proclamation (no idea what that is) he should support the gay parade. According to her, many young gays, when “coming out” are ostracized by their families. So during the parade, her organization provides meals to them in a family environment to make them feel good.

My question to the sweet old lady is why do you do that only during the parade at taxpayer’s expense? You can do that all year long with your own money or through any gay charity. And of course, she didn’t mention QuAIA at all. Here is another question: if the young gays are so dear to her heart, why doesn’t she have the same feelings for the Jews? After all, organizations like QuAIA, which demonize Israel, provide the hate justification for anti-Semitism (currently in Europe, but soon to come to Canada).

 

Another one in the class of the shameless liars was Ms. Moore (in the picture with the Gaza boat t-shirt). In the beginning of her statement she stated that she represented 6,000 people from the Ryerson University student union (a hotbed of lefty wackos , which I had the misfortune to observe). Right after that she stated that she represented other organizations not able to attend – Toronto University, York University and others, so by the end of the first minute she claimed she was the voice of 240,000 people from Toronto. It is rare that you can see such a profound idiot in public. She attacked Israel to the best or her limited abilities.

She was wearing a Gaza boat t-shirt – that’s a boat project intended to violate Israel’s sovereignty and supported by the terrorist supporter George Galloway, the Canada Post workers union and other idiots. Noticing her message, Councillor Giorgio Mammoliti asked her what she was trying to say. She said she was willing to answer question about that, but there was no interest.

 

To acknowledge her stupidity, Blazingcatfur, who was standing next to me, booed her discretely. But that wasn’t discrete enough – the mainstream media reporters seated at the table in front of us gave him dirty looks expressing their utter disgust.

Another person from the sob story camp was “Susan”. The person had male physique, with male voice, but was wearing a dress and make-up. He/she/it identified himself/herself/itself as a “transgendered”. Unfortunately, she was the type of man who imagines that he is a woman – the horrible dress he was wearing and poorly designed make-up showed beyond any doubt that if you are a man who thinks he is a woman, the woman’s taste and finesse don’t come automatically with your delusions.

Anyway, “Susan” was upset that if the parade is defunded that would cause troubles for the “trans” – there will be no special housing for them. And if he had to go to a men’s shelter, he would be mistreated. Susan didn’t explain how the lack of parade money is going to send him/her/it to shelter. However, here is a suggestion for Susan – instead of acting like a freak, why don’t you acquire some skills and became gainfully employed? Then you won’t need shelters. And another message to the “queer community” – why don’t you lay down anti-Semitism and start educating the shelter bums and drunkards into accepting people like “Susan”?

It’s not going to work, because the Jews are a much easier target than the bums.

However, the most enlightening was the speech of Francisco Alvarez, who was a deputy manager of the gay parade. He also started as a sob story guy (at least he looked like a man). His iron-clad argument was that the parade must get funding, because the so-called Word Pride 2014 depends on it. That’s some kind of a world gay parade, which the Toronto homosexuals agreed to host (apparently without consulting the taxpayers).

The problem is that according to the rules of that parade, the host must have a balanced budget for three consecutive years. Without the city financing, they are not going to accomplish that. Next he went to state that the Toronto parade brings in $136 million to the economy, over 600 jobs, and $4 million in taxes.

At this point, Councillor Giorgio Mammoliti interrupted him with a question regarding their preliminary meeting. At that meeting, Alvarez was stated that he can’t guarantee the QuAIA exclusion from this year’s parade, so Mammoliti asked him to state the reasons in public.

Alvarez said that any group that wants to take a part in the parade must register. Since QuAIA decided not to take part, they are not registered. If they or someone like them decide to march anyway, they will be confronted by the marshals and referred to the police. However, if the group appears to be dangerous (probably like the guys with swastikas, this is my remark) or the police are not around, they’ll have no choice but to let them in. That’s why they can’t give guarantees. On top of that, they can’t police of their events during the parade week where QuAIA may decide to show up. When the councillor asked why they don’t just ban that group permanently, Alvarez replied that they cannot censor anybody.

That’s beyond pathetic. It reminds me of the “Seinfeld” episode where Jerry’s Uncle Leo was caught stealing books at Brentano’s and his excuse was “I’m old! I’m confused!” It’s the same situation here – the poor gays cannot oppose anti-Semites, because they are too defenceless.

What a piece of crap! A powerful minority, which successfully persecutes everybody who is against them and aggressively tries to impose the gay agenda in the school curriculum of Ontario can’t deal with a rogue anti-Semitic group. Do you really think that people are that stupid?

If their event really brings in $136 million, why can’t they extract $200,000 from it? If their parade’s management is so grossly incompetent, why don’t they hire some “affluent gays” or real promoters to manage it? If they do that, they’ll be able to get even Charles Manson’s family to march with them without any problems, instead of begging Rob Ford for a few thousands.

Speaking of Rob Ford, not so long ago Toronto’s gay paper Xtra published an article about Ford calling for his rape in order to get him under control. If such an article was about a homosexual or a woman, OHRC’s Barbara Hall and her squads would’ve destroyed the authors and the editors, but the white straight male is a fair target.  A few weeks ago, another rag, Now Magazine (the largest prostitute directory in Toronto), published another disgusting smear about the Mayor.

I am not sure how representative of the gay community are the staffs of those papers. But it seems to me that it is beyond arrogant to come to City Hall and beg for handouts in support of an anti-Semitic group when you treat the Mayor in such a despicable and disgusting way. But of course, homosexuals in our society are far above the law.

So I have a question – if that filth about Ford is acceptable in the gay press, why should we fund any “queer community’s” events? Such behaviour is below the moral norms of even the most savage tribes on earth.

It’s your move now to prove me wrong, dear gay compatriots… Just don’t try the old and tired “homophobia” line, we are dealing with the issue of anti-Semitism here.

Not much is written about Bulgaria in the press. Although a member of the European Union, it is located at its periphery and is one of the poorest countries in the Union. Unlike Greece, it’s still not a member of the euro zone, so it can’t screw the economy the way Greece did.

Despite that, what happens in Bulgaria is symptomatic about how things are going to turn out in the multicultural European paradise. Last Friday the capital Sofia witnessed a bloody clash between Bulgarian nationalists and Islamists (mostly Bulgarian Turks). The Turks are the largest ethnic minority in Bulgaria, with nearly 1 million of them.

Most of them are descendants of the Bulgarians, who were forcibly converted to Islam by the Ottoman Empire, which occupied the country for nearly 500 years. Millions of Bulgarians perished during that occupation at the hands of Turks. A common practice at the time was the so-called “blood tax” – a practice involving taking away healthy little Christian boys. After imposing Islam on them, they were segregated into special barracks, forced to speak only Turkish and prepared to become “enichars” – members of a special military corps, which was used to fight Christians.

Despite the hatred, which accumulated through the centuries, Bulgaria avoided any significant clashes between Bulgarians and Turks during the last century (Yugoslavia wasn’t that lucky with its Muslims). Under communism, religion played very insignificant role, which prevented Islam from taking over the minds of the Turks.

Now things are changing rapidly. After the fall of communism, Bulgaria turned into a quasi-democracy of South American type, where each government can fulfil only one mandate – every time voters are disappointed with the undelivered promises and look for a new saviour party.

The corrupt governments have practically destroyed agriculture, the main source of income for many Turks. To make things worse, a very large part of them grows tobacco, an activity, which is neither sponsored nor supported by the European Union.

That situation makes Turks a fertile ground for spreading Islam. Turkey was the first to take advantage – since 1990’s it has increasing its influence; it is
even sponsoring a Turkish political party in Bulgaria (called Movement for Rights and Freedoms). Strictly, the party is illegal, because the law prohibits ethnic political parties, but nobody cares since that’s not a law-abiding country. Besides that, the Turkish party is just as corrupt as the Bulgarian parties.

The next one to put foot in the door was Saudi Arabia. Its numerous foundations started to sponsor Islamization – they built over 1000 new mosques and started to promote actively Islamic education in the Turkish parts of the country. The results of two decades of work are visible today – many Turks are barely able to speak Bulgarian, which prevents them from leaving the areas of high unemployment and getting decent jobs. Many students rarely go beyond the madrassas sponsored by the Islamic foundations.

All that contributed to the increase of the ethnic tensions. Just like in other European countries, the process materialized itself into the creation of nationalist party – Ataka (Attack).

During the last elections, Ataka won considerable number of seats in the parliament. Since the ruling party (GERB) has a minority government, they depend on the nationalists. Their declared goal is to sever the tentacles of the Turkish and Saudi Islamic influence.

The Friday clash happened during a planned protest of Ataka near the central mosque in Sofia. It was built in the 16^th century. When the Turks occupied Bulgaria, they demolished all Christian cathedrals and churches (in Constantinople only St. Sophia survived to be turned into a monstrous mosque). They imposed a law, according to which a Christian church shouldn’t be taller than a rider on a horse. Christians had to dig deep underground to make churches spacious enough to conduct proper service. Here is a picture of that mosque and below you see an example of an Orthodox Christians church of the same era, which still survives (located a few hundred meters from the same mosque):

 

 

What id Ataka protest? As you can see in he picture, the mosque has a minaret, from which the imam calls for prayers ive times a day. The closet Muslim Obama said somewhere that those calls were ome of the most beautiful sounds he’s ever heard.

I beg to differ – if you’ve had the misfortune to hear those calls, I don’t think you would agree with Obama. They resemble the howling of a mortally wounded she-wolf. What makes it worse is that the mosque uses powerful amplifiers, which makes the howling totally unbearable. That wouldn’t have been a problem in some God forsaken Muslim country, but that mosque is located in the heart of downtown Sofia, near the Presidency and other government buildings. There are no Muslims living in the few residential buildings in the area.

City Hall didn’t do anything to reduce the noise, despite many years of complaints. Ataka’s protest, for which they properly registered and got permission from the city, was against that disturbance. They gathered nearby and one of them climbed a small building adjacent to the mosque (but not part of it) to place a loudspeaker (the pictures below are stills from a report by the Bulgarian news site News.bg).

 

At that moment they were attacked by Muslims supposedly praying in the mosque. For some reason, the pious Muslims were well prepared with knives, rocks and logs (it’s nice to have friends at city hall). In the beginning of the fight, the police didn’t interfere. Only after things got out of control, they started
arresting people, but most of them were nationalists. You can see below one of those arrested nationalist. On the back of his shirt it says: “Erdogan, you owe
us 10 billion Euros.” Erdogan is the current Prime Minister of Turkey and that’s the amount his country agreed to pay in 1923 for its atrocities (not a dime has been paid so far).

 

During the clash many people were injured. One of them was the Ataka MP Denitsa Gadjeva, who was hit with a rock on the head and had to be taken to an emergency hospital with concussion.

The curious result of that was that the next day almost everything was blamed on the nationalists. The notorious Helsinki Committee of Bulgaria (a bunch of parasites sponsored by Soros) formally demanded that the nationalist party be banned.  The District Attorney of Sofia threatened them with charges of peace disturbance.

 

 

 

As I said in the beginning, the whole case is symptomatic of what is going on in Europe. The bloated Union bureaucracy still lives in the imaginary flower world of the 1960’s, where we all are brothers and sisters. According to their recipes, all problems can be solved by giving away more welfare money and
creating more useless office positions to monitor the unruly Europeans.

In that world, all the nationalist parties and movements that have been popping up in different countries are simply creations of a few evil individuals, whom the bureaucrats supposedly can easily scare into obedience through threats and show trials.

It’s beyond belief – they don’t realize that if similar organizations appear in different countries, maybe that’s a symptom of the society’s malfunction. The
clash of different cultures is not going to be resolved by accommodating the most bizarre customs at the price of eroding the traditional European culture.

The creeping Islamization of the Balkan countries is a warning to the sleepy Europe. It has been often said that the Balkans are the powder keg of Europe.
Is the continent going to ignore the fire again and let the keg explode taking down everybody?

There was a time when Barack Hussein Obama looked like a wonderful guy ready to bring happiness and prosperity to everybody. It was in 2008 when he needed the support of every imaginable ethnic or political group, because the outcome of the upcoming presidential election wasn’t clear at all.

Jews were one of those groups. Trying to get their donations and political support, Obama was throwing at them generous promises for unconditional support of Israel, guarantees for the indivisibility of Jerusalem, lasting peace, fair to all sides, etc. etc.

Of course, even then there were lonely voices, which doubted his rhetoric and pointed out his lack of principles. After all, he spent years at the church of
the racist Jeremiah Wright, he got and endorsement from the anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan and he counted a former Marxist terrorist among his friends.

But the desire to have the first politically correct black President blurred the vision of the US voters. And now they are paying for that. It’s not only the horribly mismanaged economy, forced to pay for unsustainable programs, it’s also the disastrous foreign policy.

Case in point is Obama’s Mideast speech this week.  It was strange, to say the least – all those promises to Israel and the Jews made in 2008 are gone. He paints a picture of the Middle East, its problems and their solutions, which is in a striking dissonance with reality.

Obviously, he is urged to react to the so-called “Arab Spring” in a way that would please the “revolutionary masses”. After praising what happened over there as the best thing since the sliced bread, he mentions what measures we need to see applied in those countries:

“We support a set of universal rights. Those rights include free speech; the freedom of peaceful assembly; freedom of religion; equality for men and women under the rule of law; and the right to choose your own leaders – whether you live in Baghdad or Damascus; Sanaa or Tehran.”

Is this some kind of dark humour? Free speech and freedom of religion are totally incompatible with the Muslim tradition. The people of Egypt overwhelmingly support the death penalty for apostasy and total sharia control. The only country where those values were applied to certain extend was Turkey and only because Ataturk practically banished Islam from public life. However, the Islamist government of Erdogan is working very hard to “correct” the situation.

Then Obama makes sure that the previous paragraph shouldn’t be taken too seriously. America need not interfere too much, in fact it must stay in the shadows while allowing the Islamists to do whatever they want: Read the rest of this entry »

Unfortunately, that’s not a Monty Python sketch – it was a very real event that took place today in Toronto. The Arab demonstration was supposed to commemorate Nakba, the so-called “catastrophe” that happened in 1948. According to the mythology, on May 15 of that year, after Israel was founded, the evil Jews kicked out 750,000 “Palestinians” from the Israeli land to have the whole territory for themselves.

 

 

As with many made up events in the Arab history, that’s not exactly what happened. The next day after the independence of Israel was declared, all of her Arab neighbours attacked it from all sides. The Arabs living there were urged by the invaders to leave temporarily in order to make the extermination of the Jews easier.

As it usually happens with people who have nothing to lose, the Jews fought back and won. The Muslims, who were duped into leaving, still reside in camps on the territories of their Arab “benefactors” in conditions not much better than a human zoo. The zoo conditions didn’t prevent them from breeding to the point that their number increased to over 7 million.

At the same time in the late 1940’s as an act of revenge for their defeat, the Arab countries kicked out over 900,000 Jews, who eventually settled in Israel.

Fast forward to modern times – now Israel is a highly developed country with enormous achievements in science (with over 100 Nobel Prize winners) and many branches of industry and agriculture. Most of the Arab countries are still cesspools of ignorance and fanaticism, with one Nobel Prize winner – the terrorist Arafat.

 

 

 

It is customary that the losers scheme to take away what the winner has achieved. This situation is not an exception – not only do the “Palestinians” want their state, but they also want the 7 million descendants to return to Israel. That’s a neat way to wipe out the Jews, destroy their achievements and confiscate everything they have.

That was the purpose of the Arab rally today – to show the world that they want everything and they want it now (although the number of participants wasn’t that impressive). Unfortunately, people on the other side are not dumb. JDL-Canada organized a counter-rally in front of the Israeli consulate on Bloor Street.

The turnout was great – it was nice to see people of different ages, races and nationalities gathered to confront the madness. They made their point in a peaceful, but firm way. The Toronto Police made sure that everything went on smoothly – both demonstrations took place on opposite sides of the street.

 

 

But even they couldn’t predict all the variables – at certain point, near the end of the event, three Muslims crossed the street to start confrontation and possibly a fight. The police quickly interfered to neutralize them. It’s interesting that during the anti-Galloway rally at York University last year, the Muslims attempted exactly the same type of provocation.

 

 

 

If there is a lesson to be learned from the event – it is that not all people are mindless Chomsky zombies, most of us think and remember history. The lefties
can’t dupe everybody into believing their mythology. We know the truth and we are not afraid to stand for it.

 

 

 

Thank God for free speech in Canada. It still survives, although feeble and bruised from the attacks of shady organizations and unsavoury characters.

Last year, that freedom allowed us to hear the insane rants of George Galloway, last week we heard the anti-Islamic politician Geert Wilders. That’s the beauty of free speech – after you listen, you can make up your mind about somebody’s opinion and argue with them.

The same applies to the views of Jawed Anwar, a prominent Muslim activist and writer in Toronto. Recently he published an article titled   Don Valley West: Liberal Hypocrites Lost the Grip in the online magazine Muslim.ca (h/t BCF & Sanwin).

He writes about the internal struggles in the Muslim community in Toronto over the issue of which politicians they should support. There is no doubt, that’s an important problem.

It turns out, none of the two major parties (Conservatives and Liberals) deserves any support. Harper takes quite a beating from Mr. Anwar as a supporter of the “racist state Israel” and for refusing  to take back the terrorist named Omar Khadr. He even makes sure to express his admiration for Al-Jazeera’s bashing of “Harper’s regime” (it’s nice to know that their vicious Islamic propaganda is readily available in Canada).

The Liberals are not much better – they get their fair share of bashing for starting the “aggression” in Afghanistan and helping Harper to keep Khadr away. However, they are little bit less hated, because many Muslims support the party financially (while, as Mr. Anwar claims, the conservatives don’t get a dime from them).

But when we read further, it becomes clear that there is a certain issue that bothers Jawed Anwar (and probably many other Toronto Muslims) to the point that he is not ashamed to confront it – and that’s the homosexuality of the politicians.

He explained how a few years ago the local Liberal activist Abdul Ingar duped conservative Muslims (men with long beards and women in niqabs) to vote in the provincial elections for Kathleen Wynne, a lesbian, who later became a provincial education minister, even though she couldn’t hide her racism:

“After
capturing and strengthening her throne, Ms Kathleen Wynne, the “Queen” of Don
Valley West, started showing her disliking of “browns” (in Don Valley West, it
is often used to refer to Muslims). “She started racist slur, ‘I don’t like to
see too many browns in my riding’” (meaning Liberal riding posts), said an ex
liberal party member and insider.”

Later on, the same activist supported Rob Oliphant in the federal election, an openly gay United Church minister, who also won.

However, Mr. Anwar doesn’t like what the elected politicians tried to do after they got their positions. He specifically states that the proposed new curriculum in the public school was diametrically opposite to what the Muslims believed in:

 

“When Kathleen
Wynne became the member of the Ontario Provincial Parliament and education
minister by defeating John Tory who was the advocate of public funding of
religious schools, she tried her best to change the current character of public
school on the path of perversion. She prepared a new curriculum for health and
physical education, before leaving the ministry to join Ministry of Transport.
The new curriculum proposed sex education from grade three, and homosexuality
and trans-sexuality (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit, intersex,
queer) was to be a part of curriculum. Young kids would be taught that you
could have two moms and two dads and all kinds of possible sexual perversion
and relationship and there is nothing wrong in it; it is normal. Moreover,
parents have no right to oppose it… A majority of Muslims are living in poverty
and having several children; they can’t pay enormous fees for private Islamic
schools. Practically, they are forced to send their children to public schools
in all conditions. If they speak against Ms. Wynne’s proposed curriculum, they
will be accused of violating “human rights” and “social justice.” This is the
repressive and authoritarian tendency of Liberal extremists and perverts.”

I agree to a point with the sentiments of the author – the gays are a tiny minority in the society, and even though their rights should be strictly observed, they have no right to impose their lifestyle on others, especially small children (exactly as the heterosexuals have no right to impose their lifestyle on gays).

However, I wouldn’t call that way of life a “perversion”. If a Christian had written what Mr. Anwar wrote in the quote above, he or she would be dragged through the mud by Barbara Hall and her henchmen from the Ontario Human Rights Commission. Yet, I am not aware of anybody condemning Mr. Anwar’s views.

Then Jawed Anwar expresses his displeasure with Ingar’s support for George Smitherman in his run against Rob Ford in last year’s mayoral election in Toronto. And he proudly states that the Muslim community was instrumental in the defeat of the gay candidate Smitherman:

“Last
year when practicing Christians were celebrating Good Friday nationwide, the
top gay politicians of Toronto, under the leadership of Smitherman, were
visiting Masjid Darussalam at the annual inaugural day of “path to piety”
program.” They were invited by Abdul Ingar, on behalf of Masjid Darussalam. Mr.
Ingar announced and requested that everyone meet these “most honorable” people
of Toronto. Mr. Smitherman was the mayoral candidate in the October 2010
Toronto City Election. Do “non-gay” politicians have the same right to do so?
Ask Mr. Ingar (privately when he was not holding the microphone at the Mimbar
of Masjid). And also ask Mr. Rob Ford, new elected mayor of Toronto City to try
to visit here and break the ice. The time has changed now. Despite the Liberal
religious leaders appeal for Smitherman, Muslims of our neighbourhood voted for
Rob Ford. And despite the full effort of liberal riding, MP, MPP, and mayoral
candidate Smitherman’s campaign office, liberal’s darling Muhammad Dhanani lost
the last city councillor election.”

Obviously, Smitherman kissing his “husband” on the lips at public rallies didn’t play well with that segment of the population. After the election I wrote that “homophobia” played a role in Smitherman’s defeat. Now Mr. Anwar proves I was right. Despite the attempts by Smitherman to paint Ford as a pathetic bigot, he himself became a victim of the bigotry of the “multicultural” Toronto, where many ethnicities simply can’t accept a gay politician.

In the end of the article, Mr. Anwar doesn’t forget to mention that Rob Oliphant will be treated the same way (the article was published before the election). He even contrasts the pictures of Oliphant with his “husband” and of the Conservative candidate Carmichael showing women and children. He writes:

“Surprisingly
Rob Oliphant, the Liberal candidate of the Federal Election 2011, was unable to
read the writing on the wall. He is still considering it a soft Liberal riding.
He is so confidently arrogant that he started threatening his opponent voters.
“Never come to my office,” Oliphant responded to a voter at the door of
apartment of 47 Thorncliffe Park Drive, when the voter informed him that he
already voted for another candidate, Oliphant’s opponent. He threatened another
Muslim volunteer of a rival candidate by saying, “I never forget the people.”
So what?”

The editor of the site added a note that Oliphant was defeated by Carmichael by a margin of 639 votes. It means that if Muslims supported Oliphant, he would’ve been elected.

So here we have it – the “rich multicultural tapestry” of Toronto somehow can’t find a place for gays. How much longer would the “queer community” pretend they don’t see anything? Their rights are guaranteed only in the civilized countries in Europe and North America, yet they keep fighting the West for the sake of people who’d rather see them dead.

Their stubborn support for the bunch of anti-Jewish losers called “Queers Against Israeli Apartheid” is a great example of that suicidal behavior. Multiculturalism is not good, especially for gays.

As you can see, Mr. Anwar openly states that Muslims helped defeat two gay politicians solely because of their sexual orientation. That’s as “homophobic” as it could get. Many other people, like me, voted against Smitherman, because he is an incompetent buffoon who as a health minister managed to squander hundreds of millions of taxpayers’ money (although he didn’t forget to play the “gay card” after he lost).

And the most disturbing fact is that multiculturalism is already capable of reshaping the politics in our country for the worse. How long would it take before the Muslims increase in numbers to the point where they can change laws? At that point the funding of the gay parade would be the least of the problems of the “queer community”, they might be forced to fight the drive to outlaw homosexuality. And they would come back whining and crying for the support of the conservative West. But it would be probably too late for everybody…

It was an amazing evening – we finally got to see and hear Geert Wilders, the controversial Dutch politician and foe of Islamization. Frankly, a few weeks ago, I thought it would be easier to see a UFO in Toronto than Wilders. Maybe this was the first breath of fresh air after the election, showing that we may get used to discussing controversial opinions instead of having somebody protect us from them.

Of course, since the new House of Commons is not yet session, we were deprived from the militant ignorance of Olivia who would’ve tried to explain the evil nature of that man and why we should keep him out of Canada. (Do you remember how she whined last year about Ann Coulter being admitted to Canada while the terrorist supporter George Galloway was stopped?)

Even the protest of the “progressives” was very lame. They managed to get in front of the Canadian Christian College (where the event took place) less than ten people – few anarchist losers with their black flag. What a decline from the last year, when they were proudly beating up people and breaking windows  at the G20 protest.

Four speakers took the stage at the event:  Sam Solomon, Rabbi Jonathan Hausman, Ezra Levant, and Geert Wilders.

Charles McVetty from the Canadian Christian College opened with a short introduction on the importance of Wilders’ message and the danger of the radical Islam in Europe and North America.

The author Sam Solomon talked briefly about how Islam emerged in the Arab Peninsula in the 7^th century. From the very beginning, it has been a doctrine
based on deception and ruthless and aggressive advancement. Little has changed since then – the methods are the same and the target is the Western civilization at large. Only a few people dare to confront that invasion, the rest keep silent out of fear under the shackles of the political correctness. Geert Wilders is one of those who are brave and talk – his message is alarming, but we can’t ignore it if we are to save our civilization.

The next segment was an interview, which Ezra Levant, a SunTV star and nightmare of the Human Rights Commissions, conducted with Rabbi Jonathan Hausman from Boston. The Rabbi was a very interesting personality – an uncompromising fighter against fanaticism and political stupidity, he wasn’t reluctant to speak up his mind openly.

 

He had an in-depth knowledge of Islamic radicalism – as a student, he spent several years in Egypt studying colloquial Arabic and the local culture. He never saw such a vile Jew hatred as in that country (and that was in the 1970’s, before Sadat’s assassination).

Ezra asked him why the Jews in the USA are such leftists. Rabbi Hausman replied that many of them are losing focus and moving away from really important issues. For example, some of the Jewish leaders in Boston have embraced the cause of the transgender toilets, which is bizarre to say the least. In his case, the conservatism came from his ancestors, who emigrated from Russia and had a very realistic view of the world around them. His father was a World War II veteran and before the war he never voted for Roosevelt.

The Rabbi has always supported liberty. He figured out the nature of Islam 30 years ago and never underestimated its dangers. It’s a totalitarian ideology, which seeks complete dominance over the state and everyday lives of the people. Of course, this doesn’t apply to all Muslims, because many of them don’t follow all Islamic dogmas.

The smell test when evaluating people’s opinions on those issues is the attitude toward Israel – if a person supports democracy, women’s rights, etc. and at the same time hates Israel, there is something fishy about their views. Because Israel is the country were all those rights are defended.

That’s the reason he supports Geert Wilders – he invited him to his congregation in 2009 and 350 people showed up to listen to him. Many more who weren’t able to attend sent him letters and messages of support.

In conclusion, he suggested that we shouldn’t be afraid to stand against extremism. We also need to educate ourselves about the views of the Islamists by studying their holy texts in order to be able to debate them.

 

After that Ezra Levant introduced Geert Wilders. He appeared surrounded by his bodyguards, who took positions around the stage.

Wilders started by thanking Canada – today is May 9, the day of the liberation of Europe. Many Canadian soldiers gave their lives in World War II to  liberate the Netherlands. The country would never forget them.

Then he warned that his message was not going to be optimistic – Canada must wake up, Islam is at its gates and many people misunderstand that phenomenon. They think that Islam is a religion like any other. The truth is that it is a totalitarian system, whose purpose is to impose total control over the society through its sharia legal code. The violence against Christianity is common. Mohammed, its founder, is nothing like Jesus, he was an evil and violent man.

It’s absurd to talk about “moderate Islam” – the Islam is one (as even the Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan observed) and there is nothing moderate about it. A particular Muslim could be moderate as long as he doesn’t follow closely the Islamic doctrine.

At this time, the situation in Canada is not that bad, but in Europe the Islamization is advancing in full force causing huge problems – the Islamic lobby is pushing for changes that will introduce anti-Israeli policies, compliance with sharia, etc.

The Muslims in Europe live in compact masses in cities, refusing to adapt to the local culture. Women’s abuse is routine. The hostility against the West is
appalling – an alarmingly high percentage of the young Muslims in England and Germany prefer sharia to democracy.

Wilders considers his duty to unmask that cult, especially its founder – he is about to release a documentary about the life of Mohammed and show his true nature as a terrorist and pedophile. In his Koran he stated that Muslims have more rights that the “dhimmi”. He personally practiced these views by taking major part in the extermination of the Jews in Medina. Now the situation is the same – you can’t wear a cross or practice Christianity in Saudi Arabia.

 

There are alarming facts about the surrender of Western Europe to the Muslim barbarism. In a town in Denmark, Muslim thugs forced a local church to pay them protection money in exchange of not harassing the Christians. After the murder of Theo van Gogh, an artist in the Netherlands painted an angel with a message of peace on the outer wall of his atelier.  The Muslims from the nearby mosque found the painting offensive, complained and the local authorities  forced him to remove it.

That makes the resistance against Islamization important – we can start by showing solidarity with all the victims of Islam. Those are the Copts in Egypt, killed and tortured daily; the Christians of Lebanon, who lost their country. They are also the Jews, the Buddhists, and the apostates of Islam, who had the
misfortune to live in Muslim countries.

Part of that fight is the support for Israel – that country is the only safe haven for Christians in the Middle East. It should be supported by all means, because it is the only democracy there – a small beacon of light in the dark sea of Muslim barbarity. Israel is fighting our fight.

Wilders was sceptical about the current “revolution” in the Arab countries. It will be impossible to achieve freedom and democracy, because the dominance of Islam poisons everything. Islam and democracy are incompatible. If the Muslims ever liberate themselves from Islam, they will achieve a lot. They have talents as many other people in the world, but that backward doctrine cripples them. The example of Israel, a country with a climate similar to that of many Arab countries, with no oil, shows that through determination people can achieve prosperity. Islam is the problem that stops those countries from being
successful.

The political correctness in Europe and North America is also a major obstacle. We need politicians who can act. He gave as an example his own party – the Party for Freedom. The Dutch government now is a minority government. It can’t survive without the support of that party. So under his pressure, the government is working now on legislations to ban the burka, limit the economic immigration from Muslim countries by 50% and strip from citizenship and deport immigrants who are repeat offenders. Although the politically correct politicians are reluctant to tackle these issues, those policies are supported by the majority of the Dutch population.

In conclusion, Wilders proposed four measures that in his opinion are crucial for the success of our struggle.

First, we must defend the freedom of speech. The Muslim lobby is doing everything possible to restrict it (like the persecution of Ezra Levant and Mark Steyn in Canada, Wilders’ own trial in Holland, etc.). We must get rid of the hate speech laws, because they benefit only Muslims.

Second, we should end cultural relativism. We must be proud that our Western culture is far superior to the Islamic culture – this is not racism, it means to admit that the West provides more freedoms and prosperity. The defense of the Judeo-Christian values is essential.

Third, we must stop Islamization. The immigration from Muslim countries should be stopped (with the exception of providing political asylum to the abused minorities from those countries). The criminal immigrants must be deported. Stop the construction of new mosques, close the Islamic schools, because they all spread Muslim radicalism.

Fourth, it is good to be patriotic. We don’t achieve anything by being ashamed of the successes of the Western countries. We can demand the same respect from the immigrants, who choose to move to our countries.

We must stand firmly together against Islam.

After that Geert Wilders answered a few questions and left the stage. His bodyguards swarmed around him and all of them disappeared in the darkness through a side door.

That’s Geert Wilders…  A difficult person, who defies all political stereotypes. You may disagree with him, but you can’t ignore his opinions. Actually, this is not exactly true – Toronto Star, CBC, and CTV have successfully pretended that he doesn’t exist, but they have been out of touch with reality on many other issues.

He belongs to the very rare breed of politician who is not afraid to tell the truth. He talks about things that many people see, but not many dare to discuss openly. In his situation, that has been a double-edged sword. On one hand, he is a successful and popular politician. On the other hand, he lives under the constant threat of Muslim barbarity. Both things mean that he is doing something right.

People like him deserve our total support, if we want our civilization to survive.

In mid-April, JDL-Canada organized a protest against the stubborn decision of the Toronto Gay Pride Parade to include an anti-Israeli organization with poorly hidden anti-Semitic agenda – Queers Against Israeli Apartheid (QuAIA).

The blatant hate promoted by that organization attracted scrutiny, which was not desired by the Pride Parade management. The controversy that the issue caused forced them to cut their losses by changing tactics.

Shortly after the protest, it was stated that QuAIA is withdrawing from this year’s Parade. So far, so good. Many people opposed to that organization took the statement at face value. Bernie Farber from CJC stated that it was good enough and the case was closed.

But can you trust them? At the heart of the issue is the city funding for the parade – it will include over $100,000 in direct subsidies plus several hundred thousand in services by the city (like cleaning). Last year the Pride management made exactly the same promise, the gullible (or pro-lefty) Mayor Miller gave them the money and the parade let the anti-Semites march anyway.

If any other organization had done something like this, they would’ve been sued for fraud, but that obviously doesn’t apply to the darlings of the Human Rights Commission. The new Mayor, Rob Ford, appears to be much smarter and he wants guarantees about the promise – in return he is smeared and accused of “homophobia”.

The final decision by the city is yet to be made, but the Pride Parade is still trying to weasel its way out, hoping that they’ll be able to swindle the taxpayers again.  They let the door open by stating that even though QuAIA would not be marching, they will still organize few events and some of their members may appear at the parade. The people who run the parade are either totally clueless about how to control their event or think that the public is exceptionally dumb.

There is only one problem – the people are watching. That’s why the Jewish Defence League organized another protest on May 6. If you remember the protest in April, the Pride diligently prepared itself to intimidate the nasty Jews – they hired the losers from the Black Bloc to stand in front of their building waving their black flag (what a perfect fit for their hateful agenda).

This time there was nobody in front of their building. The JDL members and supporters showed up and stood there to make their point despite the rain.

 

Meir Weinstein pointed out again the absurdity of the “Israeli apartheid” idea. The whole “BDS” movement aims at weakening and eventually destroying Israel by turning the Jews into a minority in their own country, which would be at the mercy of fanatical Arabs. Trying to create a fake “Palestinian history” by twisting and misrepresenting the thousands of years of rich Jewish history in the Middle East, the modern anti-Semites are giving legitimacy to terrorists.

The idea of apartheid in Israel borders on insanity and it’s far away from reality. There are Arab parties in Israel, who have representatives in the parliament. Israeli hospitals’ staffs consist of Jews and Arabs and they accept patients regardless of their religion or nationality. There isn’t a single place in Israel, where Arabs and Jews are not allowed to mix in public. Arabs serve in the Israeli Army; there is even an Arab General in the army. Israel has Arab judges, including one on the Supreme Court of Israel.

As of the gay issue – Israel is far ahead of its Arab neighbours. Gays are not discriminated against, they even have their own Parade there. They are allowed to serve in the army and are not persecuted at all. On the other hand, they are routinely persecuted and killed by Hamas in Gaza.

 

Of course, these are all facts – and facts are meaningless to the extremists who control the Pride Parade in Toronto. They are ready to hide and distort the truth to promote their anti-Israeli agenda. Somehow they are missing the point that if their dream of wiping out Israel ever comes true, the Muslim barbarians after taking over, will make sure that all gays are promptly exterminated.

I fully understand that no matter how much information I provide those blockheads are not going to change their minds. They justify their hatred as “free speech”. Again, they fail to notice that their opponents have exactly the same right of free speech, especially Jews, who have seen such “speech” turn into pogroms and concentration camps. Yes, they can preach their anti-Semitism, but not on the taxpayer’s dime.

Here is free piece of advice for the Pride Parade. Its organizers claim that the event brings in tens of millions of dollars in Toronto. Then how come they can’t get a piece of that yummy pie? Is it because they are a bunch of capitalism-hating and ignorant lefties, who can’t run even a lemonade stand without piling up a deficit in the thousands? The gay community claims that they are more affluent than other groups – I have no doubt about that. Then the solution is very simple – get those talented people to run the Parade and you’ll make millions of dollars. It won’t be necessary to haggle with the city over one hundred thousand measly dollars. And then you would be able to let anybody you want to march (it would be your money after all), even KKK, because they make a much better anti-Israeli case than QuAIA. I wonder why you can’t get those talented people run your hate fest (it’s actually very clear why).

The bottom line is that your actions always have consequences. If you don’t care about the latter, there are always people who do. Don’t forget it – you don’t own our city…

Last Monday NDP won 102 parliamentary seats in Canada’s national election.  Within hours, the press was flooded with the jubilation of ecstatic lefties, who saw that fact as a sign of a shift to the left in the Canadian public opinion. They didn’t miss to praise Jack Layton for his “visionary” campaign that brought a victory.

As with many events in history, what really happened has very little to do with the picture that is forced upon us. A simple arithmetical calculation shows that out of 102 MP seats for NDP, 58 were won in Quebec. That’s hardly a national surge in popularity. In the other parts of the country the support was flat, with few seats lost in some ridings.

The NDP victory in Quebec was a fluke. Of course, Jack promised the moon and the stars in the French province and even assured them that he would open the Constitution debate. It is hard to believe that his eloquence might have persuaded the voters to follow him. The truth is that for whatever reason they were angry at Bloc Quebecois and voted for the least known party as a sign of protest.

Voting with the feeling of anger is good for the moment – it gives you the satisfaction that you’ve taught the politicians a lesson. However, when that feeling wears out, from the position of the post-anger hangover, you may find yourself in bed with somebody you can’t stand. And that’s what happened in Quebec.

Now Quebec voters are stuck with NDP for the next four years – with Harper’s majority it impossible to call an early election. NDP de facto represents the province, yet few people have any idea about the party’s stand on Quebec’s issues. What’s even worse, with the majority government, they will have even lesser ability to influence the parliamentary decisions.

Let’s face it – Jack Layton and Quebec is not a match made in heaven. Regardless of the opinions about Duceppe, Quebecers benefited greatly from his party. With the constant threat of separation, he was able for decades to beg, borrow, steal, and extort tons of goodies for his province – subsidies, large transfer payments, investments, etc.

Jack doesn’t have that leverage. It will look odd, if he suddenly tries to look like a separatist to get deals for his constituents.

But that’s not the only problem. Despite the leftist euphoria about the NDP wisdom, none in the leadership expected to win so many seats in Quebec.

The objective was to get the 2 bucks per vote that the government pays in party subsidies. Jack’s deep strategy was to find breathing human beings willing to run for his party. Yet those fillers won causing new problems. Most of them never campaigned in their ridings. None of them has any experience. There is a communist (and martial arts instructor), pub manager, few students, some of them don’t even speak French. And the worst part is again the majority government, which means that Jack will be stuck with those people for the next four years.

In the previous parliament, Olivia Chow and Libby Davies were the laughing stock due to their militant leftist ignorance. Now, with the new cadres present, both of them will look like wise elder stateswomen. Not a great future…

What’s even worse, the very far left press is already drooling about how the new NDP radical MP’s will sabotage the House of Commons and Harper’s evil government. That would make things even worse for Jack Layton, because he already promised cooperation in the name of the common interests of all Canadians, instead he would have to spend considerable time policing his caucus.

His situation is difficult because he must also pay back for the endorsements of scores of wacky and dangerous organizations.  Organizations like the Canadian Islamic Congress supported him, because they expected the NDP to confront Ignatieff (considered by them a Jew and neo-con) and Harper (whom they expect to help Israel take over most of the Middle East). How is Jack Layton going to pay back to those fanatics?

Maybe we will see him pushing (together with Bob Rae) to bring back to Canada that vermin, the convicted terrorist Omar Khadr. Or maybe he will give nice positions to his family of terrorists and welfare parasites.

Jack has four hard years ahead of him and we will be watching. Maybe NDP’s unique blend of incompetence, revolutionary fervour, and creative ideas to  steal taxpayers’ money for idiotic causes, will eventually bring the ultimate demise of that party.
