Earlier today I received an e-mail from Philippe Karsenty sharing the news that the Israeli government at last decided to issue a report that the infamous “documentary”, in which an Arab father and son are supposedly attacked and shot at by the Israeli army, was a hoax. The report is a result of the work of numerous experts.

 

 

The movie was one of the numerous “masterpieces” of Pallywood – a prolific propaganda industry, which produces false documentaries and pictures designed to demonize Israel. The al Dura hoax is not an exception – the unarmed father and son depicted in the footage allegedly suffered many bullet wounds and the boy was reportedly killed.

Even a layman could tell that was a fake – the father was supposedly hit by 12 bullets and yet no blood is seen. Unlike other such hoaxes, this one received enormous publicity, especially after being aired by major TV networks, which didn’t bother to explain its inconsistencies.

The well-founded doubt about the movie came first from Germany, but the person, who pursued the issue relentlessly for years was the French intellectual Philippe Karsenty. The reluctance of the French television to admit that they promoted an anti-Israeli hoax brought the issue in front of the courts (the final decision is to be announced later this month).

The struggle for revealing the truth was carried on exclusively by Karsenty, with very little support from government institutions. The Israeli governments are notoriously bad in handling the PR of their country, often missing many opportunities to confront with facts the blackmail against Israel. That gives more power to the clumsily made Palestinian propaganda whose lies are not that hard to refute.

The al Dura case was treated in very much the same way. Consecutive Israeli governments tried to ignore it hoping that it eventually would go away. The only result was that the hoax spread even more and the silence of Israel was exploited by the Arabs as an admission of guilt.

The new development is a welcome change, which shows that Philippe Karsenty’s work finally receives the recognition it deserves.

Leave it to The Guardian to turn Great Britain’s disastrous loss of cultural identity into something that is supposed to be cherished.

In a recent article the progressives who write for the paper take us to the Gladstone Primary School.

This educational institution has a dubious claim to fame – none of its 450 students speaks English as a first language. Most of them don’t even speak English when they are enrolled:

This fact fascinates and repels media commentators. “If you wonder what’s gone wrong with Britain look no further than Gladstone Primary School, Peterborough, where not one pupil speaks English as a first language,” thundered Peter Hill in The Express, without actually explaining why. Is Gladstone Primary a vision of a dystopian future or a triumph of multiculturalism? And what is it like to be a pupil and a teacher there?

The Guardian journalist brings in more statistics to refute that reactionary statement. The fact that the school feels more like a post-war refugee camp than a place of learning is quickly reframed as an exciting challenge:

Across Britain, schools are becoming more multicultural. Just over one million primary and secondary pupils spoke a first language other than English in 2012 compared with around 800,000 in 2007. On average, one in six (17.5%) primary school pupils in 2012 spoke another language at home, up from 16.8% in 2011. The challenges facing Gladstone primary, though, seem particularly acute. About 80% of its pupils are from a Pakistani background: most speak Punjabi but the school’s 20 other languages include Dari, Pashto, Gujarati, Kurdish, Arabic, Lithuanian, Latvian, Russian, Polish, Slovakian, Czech, German and French.

Nothing explains better England’s self-disintegration than that Tower of Babel, hastily built by the politically correct authorities, who never found a primitive culture not worthy of setting foot on the country. The fact that most new immigrants don’t speak English doesn’t appear to be a problem. Social services steal enough money from the taxpayers to take care of the problem.

As of their children, putting them in a school where nobody speaks English guarantees that they won’t adapt. Most of the time is spent trying to learn “sophisticated” words such as “distressing” (and that’s for the bright students):

Not speaking English as a first language could amplify differences of ability within classrooms but in the Year 3 lesson with the thesaurus, pupils are engaged in vastly different tasks, according to their linguistic attainment. While some are learning sophisticated words such as “distressing” those who are currently less proficient in English are sorting words according to their place in the alphabet.

With such phenomenal achievements, it is safe to project that in a few years many of the pupils will be standing next to their parents on the welfare line. Or if they do better, they’ll dedicate their lives to bringing down “wealth disparity” by expanding the sharia courts.

Ms. Parker, the school principal, loves the situation, because she is one of the numerous left-leaning public servants, who are responsible for bringing England down to its current sorry state:

“Although I have socialist leanings, if somebody offers me something that benefits the children, I’ll take it,” jokes Parker.

She has a very politically correct CV, which lists multicultural teaching work in Pakistan. She even went as far as sticking an Urdu sign on her office door. That makes perfect sense – why should the illiterate immigrants learn English when we are ready to bend over to accommodate their ignorance?

No sugar-coating could hide the fact that such a weird place can’t function normally. The reporter grudgingly admits that there is bullying, but is quick to clarify that it’s the same as everywhere (no, it’s not):

If Gladstone has problems, they seem fairly typical of any school. When I arrive, a mother has turned up to discuss her daughter being bullied. (When I ask about racist bullying, Parker says the school addresses any incidents in the same way: “We are very open with children and we believe in restorative justice,” she says.) The repeated Ofsted scrutiny was enormously stressful. “There is no doubt it has a negative impact on staff health and wellbeing, and it wouldn’t be fair to gloss over that,” admits Parker.

I bet it has negative health impact. Otherwise Ms. Parker wouldn’t look as distressed as a Pakistani girl hiding from an arranged marriage.

I appreciate the sincere attempt of the lefty newspaper to convince us that self-destruction should be cherished as a new salvation. And I am sure that neither Blair, nor Cameron, nor the staffers of The Guardian would ever enrol their children in that Pakistani triumph of educational multiculturalism. They’ll be sure to get their kids as far as possible from that destructive environment, which will guarantee their failure. A place dominated by primitive cultures reproduces those cultures.

The progressives know that and their children are safely removed from that environment.

What about the rest of us?

It looks like the Idle No More idiots are advised by mental patients. There is no other explanation for the bizarre sentence delivered in Brussells against the Pope and a few heads of state for”crimes” against the Indians. When you read the motives for the verdict shown below, Dumb Thief Theresa Spence starts to sound like a native Albert Einstein.

This “masterpiece” reads like something that came out of the heads of the fascists from the Canadian human rights commissions. The members who came up with it are not that different: “The International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State (ITCCS) Central Office is in Brussels, Belgium, with affiliate centers in London, Dublin, Rome, New York and Vancouver. The Acting Field secretary of the ITCCS is Rev. Kevin D. Annett, M.A., M.Div. Its legal advisers include members of the Kuala Lampur Human Rights Tribunal, Andrew Paterson, a common law consultant, members of the American and Canadian Bar Associations, and lawyers with the prestigious Center for Constitutional Rights in New York City.”

Here is the verdict which produced by the Kuala Lumpur experts and the “justices” who would feel more comfortable in mental institution than in the “capital” of Europe (maybe we will need to increase the mental health care allowances in Canada’s reserves):

 Brussels:

Pope Benedict will go to jail for twenty five years for his role in Crimes against Humanity, and Vatican wealth and property is to be seized, according to today’s historic verdict of the International Common Law Court of Justice.

The Brussels-based Court handed down a unanimous guilty verdict from its Citizen Jurors and ordered the citizens’ arrest of thirty Defendants commencing March 4 in a Court Order issued to them today.

The verdict read in part,

“We the Citizen Jury find that the Defendants in this case are guilty of the two indictments, that is, they are guilty of committing or aiding and abetting Crimes against Humanity, and of being part of an ongoing Criminal Conspiracy”

The Jury ruled that each Defendant receive a mandatory twenty five year prison sentence without parole, and have all their personal assets seized.

The Court went on to declare in its Order No. 022513-001,

“The Defendants are ordered to surrender themselves voluntarily to Peace Officers and Agents authorized by this COURT, having been found Guilty as charged.

“The Defendants have seven days from the issuing of this ORDER, until March 4, 2103, to comply. After March 4, 2013, an International Arrest Warrant will be issued against these Defendants”.

The guilty parties include Elizabeth Windsor, Queen of England, Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, and the head officers of the Catholic, Anglican and United Church of Canada. The leader of the English Defence League is a controversial person. Tommy Robinson tackles important issues and threats that the media and the authorities in Great Britain are trying very carefully to ignore. He even speaks a dialect, which is often difficult to understand. He definitely lacks the sophistication of Prince Charles, but he also lacks the spineless attitude of the prince, who is more than willing to see the Muslim invasion in Britain as a wonderful sign of diversity. (I hope Her Majesty lives longer than her mother, which would keep that dimwit away from the throne.)

Tommy Robinson is irritating the Left with his work – brutes like him are supposed to spend their nights at the pub, occasionally brawling over football games. They are not expected to embarrass the social engineers by exposing the destruction they brought by flooding their country with illiterate savages, who have no desire whatsoever to adapt to their new country (other than using the free welfare services).

John Moloney has written an excellent article about the clash between the righteous Left and the grassroots movement of Tommy Robinson (h/t BCF). He covers the things from the rational point of view of a person who has a first-hand knowledge of the real problems of his country:

It wasn’t a million years ago that lefties had a torrid romance with the working class. How they loved the overt masculinity, the blunt language and the not suffering of fools. Those lean muscled powerhouses were everything that that ineffectual leftie sophisticates weren’t. They were brave,  they were moral, even noble (though not so noble you’d let them anywhere near your daughters)…

Liberals have now moved on to new romances with women’s groups, ethnic minorities and above all Muslims. The fact that this last group doesn’t seem to like them much in return only adds to the frisson of danger. This group might, just might, be THE ONE. The one, that is , that finally gets down to some serious lamppost danglings…

I took this picture at an event featuring Lars Vilks (the Swedish cartoonist who got into trouble with the Muslims for drawing a dog with Old Mo’s head). It was the first time I saw Lars Hedegaard.

That was a gloomy event – several of the Vilks’s appearances during his tour in Canada were cancelled (citing security concerns). JDL-Canada ensured the safety of the Toronto event, so it could proceed.

Lars Vilks maintained his sense of humour during his talk, explaining how he was beaten by Muslims, how they burned his sculptures and even set his house on fire.

The other Lars (a journalist and historian from the Danish Free Press Society) lacked that artistic cheerfulness. In a somber tone he explained that he had troubles with the Danish law over accusations of hate speech. Apparently, he criticized Islam and its treatment of women in a talk with a journalist who released the recording without his consent.

He was charged under Denmark’s Article 266(b), which has the same vague meaning as Canada’s Section 13 of the Human Rights Code, but unlike Canada, where the Human Rights Commissions grill you, in Denmark the courts deal with the accusation. The point is that to get a conviction, the prosecutor just needs to show that the statement has offended (or might have offended) somebody. It’s irrelevant if the statement is true or not.

After that gloomy evening, both Larses flew back to their countries – Lars Vilks hoping to convince Muslims to be more open-minded and Lars Hedegaard to face the Danish court.

A few months later we heard the great news that Hedegaard has been acquitted – true, on a technicality, because his remarks were verbal – but still that made us proud that the free speech prevailed. That feeling didn’t last – shortly after that the prosecutor appealed the verdict to a higher court and Lars was convicted. Then he appealed and the case went to the Supreme Court of Denmark, which is supposed to make its decision soon.

His whole ordeal shows how ridiculous the hate speech laws are. The Danish law was introduced long time ago to protect the Jews, but more groups and reasons for hate are being added to the point where it simply shuts down any criticism. And in this case, by banning criticism of Islam, the law paves the way for the advancement of one of the most militant religious ideologies in the world today. An ideology, which doesn’t hide its intentions to dominate the world. At the same, time not a single one of the Muslim fanatics, who abound in Denmark, has ever been charged with hate speech.

The Danish Supreme Court is secretive and it won’t allow discussions, however, they allowed Lars Hedegaard to make a statement (you can read it below the way it was published online, h/t BCF).

Whatever the outcome, the fact that in the 21^st century a peaceful scholar is dragged through the mud for daring to criticize a violent ideology is a disgrace for Europe and its rulers.

Response to Charges of Hate Speech

Honourable Supreme Court,

My attorney has presented juridical arguments to the effect that I must be acquitted and I shall refrain from elaborating.

However, allow me to express my quiet bafflement that somebody can claim that it has been my intention to accuse every last Muslim father in the world of abusing his children – particularly in light of the fact that I have carefully explained that it was never my intention to disseminate such an absurd contention.

For precisely that reason, I would have welcomed an opportunity to review the statements I now stand accused of having uttered before they were placed on the Internet. If the interviewer had fulfilled this basic journalistic obligation, I would have demanded that my remarks be corrected so as to reflect my true opinions and the prosecutor could have saved the trouble of dragging me through the courts.

I am even more baffled at one of the claims about my person that has been circulated in connection with this case, namely that I am a racist. I have never been, I am not now and I shall never be a racist. On the contrary, all my life I have opposed racist attitudes, by which I mean hatred towards and denigrating speech about people due their descent, skin colour or other so-called racial characteristics – in other words, antipathy against or ill treatment of people due to circumstances over which they have no control.

Islam is not a race and therefore criticism of Islam cannot be racism.

Islam, which lurks behind this entire case, has been described from a variety of viewpoints. Some say that it is a religion, others that is an all-encompassing ideology that contains a religion, still others emphasise its cultural norms, its culturally transmitted customs and practices. Some even maintain that Islam is so multifaceted that it is impossible to describe it.

But regardless of one’s approach, it must be clear that Islam is not a hereditary human attribute.

If our Western freedom means anything at all, we must insist that every grown-up person is responsible for his or her beliefs, opinions, culture, habits and actions.

We enjoy political freedom and we enjoy freedom of religion. This implies a largely unlimited right to disseminate one’s political persuasion and religious beliefs. That is as it should be. But the price we all have to pay for this freedom is that others have a right to criticise our politics, our religion and our culture.

Islamic spokesmen have the freedom to advocate their concept of society, which implies the introduction of a theocracy governed by god-given laws, i.e. sharia, the abolition of man-made laws and by implication freedom of expression and democracy. They are free to think that women are inferior to men as concerns their rights and their pursuit of happiness. They are even entitled to disseminate such opinions.

I cannot recall a single instance in this country where an Islamic spokesman has been prosecuted for saying that, of course, sharia will become the law of the land once the demographic and political realities make it possible. This despite the fact that we have several examples of, e.g., imams who have openly declared that the imposition of theocracy is a religious duty incumbent on all believers.

In return, these theocrats and sharia-advocates must accept the right of those who believe in democracy, free institutions and human equality to criticise Islam and to oppose its dissemination and the atavistic cultural norms practiced by some Muslims.

It is this right – I would even say duty – to describe, criticise and oppose a totalitarian ideology that I have tried to exercise to the best of my ability.

My speech and my writings have had no other purpose than to alert my fellow citizens to the danger inherent in the Islamic concept of the state and the law.

I have made no secret of the fact that I consider this fight for our liberties to be the most important political struggle of our time.

I would not be able to live with my guilty conscience if – out of fear of public condemnation and ridicule – I refrained from telling the truth as I see it.

And regardless of the outcome of this trial, I intend to continue my struggle for free speech and against totalitarian concepts of any stripe.

 

 

Paul Weston, the leader of the British Freedom Party came to visit Canada. After many meetings and interviews, his last appearance before his departure to England was at the Toronto Zionist Centre, hosted by the Jewish Defence League-Canada. The event was also sponsored by the International Free Press Society (IFPS).

The speakers at those events are usually depressing, because they speak about nasty problems that are threatening us daily. This event was not an exception. The issues that Paul Weston confronts are not fun and if left unattended, they can easily ruin our civilization.

Fortunately, this time there was some glimmer of hope coming from two campaigns that JDL had been working on for some time – the case of Stephane Gendron, a Mayor of a town in Quebec, and Palestine House.

 

In his introduction Meir Weinstein talked about the two victories. Recently, JDL representatives went all the way to Quebec to confront Gendron, who made anti-Israeli and anti-Semitic statements in the public media. As a result of the confrontation, both he and the TV station that hosted him apologized.

An even bigger victory was the defunding of Palestine House, a known centre of anti-Israeli anti-Semitic propaganda, which masks itself as a charity. As I wrote in an earlier post, its funding was stopped on February 14. Other than Mr. Weston’s talk, these events were the main reason for celebration.

However, Bjorn Larsen, President of IFPS-Canada, while introducing Paul Weston, brought everybody down to the ugly reality we face in the Western world. Although Weston leads a registered political party, under the current British laws he can be sued and jailed for his views about immigration and multiculturalism.

When Paul Weston started speaking, he didn’t disperse the dark picture, which Bjorn painted. Right from the start he said that Great Britain had been profoundly changed by the out-of-control Muslim immigration, and according to many people, the situation is close to the point of no return. He warned that Canada is heading in the same direction and it should re-evaluate its priorities, if it wants to survive.

Years ago, in the 1960’s, that immigration was an insignificant problem. The Muslims counted only in the tens of thousands. When Tony Blair’s Labour government came to power, things changed drastically. Blair opened wide the immigration gates to millions of newcomers, most of them from Muslim countries. His purpose was to change the face of Britain and rub the noses of his conservative enemies.

The situation was aggravated by the generous welfare state – it provides everything to people who don’t work. When many unemployable immigrants started pouring in, they knew very well how to get all the benefits they wanted. Over 50% of the Muslim men don’t work, neither do 75% of their women, yet since they have many children, they qualify for very high welfare payments and large rent-free houses.

Another issue was that the Muslim immigration caused an infiltration of England by Islamists. Many of those fanatics openly stated that they see that immigration as an extension of their jihad. Similar view had the late Colonel Gaddafi, who said that the 15,000,000 Muslims in Europe will gradually multiply to the point of taking control of the continent.

Multiculturalism was the ideological justification for those policies. The leftists thought that the world is diverse and the ease of travel creates closer contacts, so welcoming so many different people to the country would make a nice snapshot of the world’s diversity. This is naivety, which is totally unforgivable.

However, another goal of the Left was to accomplish a different type of revolution by using the power of those “minorities”. And they succeeded in the destruction of the traditional way of life – now in London the white children are only 20% of all schoolchildren. 35% of the births come from the new immigrants. More and more cities are dominated by Muslims.

That social engineering, which will have unpredictable consequences, is conducted deliberately by the Left to advance their agenda. The only word you can use to describe it is “treason”.

During the Blair years, the British Embassy in Pakistan was actively involved in propaganda of the benefits of immigrating to England, handing out leaflets and other materials. The process of rejecting an application was made very complicated, so the immigration officers had much easier time approving everybody. As a result, millions of people were admitted to England and most of them should’ve never been let in.

Now Muslims have a very high birth rate, nearly 4 children per woman. Their number doubles every few years. If the trend continues, in a few decades they’ll be a majority in the country. At the same time, the numbers of the indigenous population are dropping quickly.

What makes things even worse is the fact that many Britons (up to 250,000 per year) leave the country permanently, disappointed with its self-destruction, while the Third World immigrants keep coming to England.

The English authorities do everything in their power to cover up the problems. If you criticize their policies, you’re quickly branded a racist and an enemy of multiculturalism, but the fact that the Muslims don’t share the multicultural ideas is never discussed. And when the Muslims outnumber the rest, we will be faced with their aggression.

As of now, there are strong racial conflicts – 40% of the Muslims don’t like the laws in England and want to introduce sharia. Many rejoiced after 9/11 and the London bombings. Just as many dream of the establishment of the Muslim Caliphate. And they hold these views while they are still a minority. What will happen when they become a majority?

A look at the history of Lebanon gives us a grim premonition about the future of England. Until 1970’s Lebanon’s population was predominantly Christian. After the Muslims became a majority, the country plunged into a long bloody civil war, during which many thousands of Christians and their leaders were expelled or exterminated.

Unfortunately, there is no reason to believe that the future of England is going to be any different.

 

 

The Left stubbornly keeps spreading the deception that Islam is a religion of peace. In fact, Islam is an aggressive religious ideology, whose main goal is world domination. It has no tolerance for anything that doesn’t comply with its dogmas. You can clearly see that in the way it treats women and persecutes homosexuals and followers of other religions. No criticism is ever accepted – every critic is attacked, jailed or killed.

We have to take action as soon as possible, but very few are eager to do it. Even the Conservatives don’t seem to realize the problem – they even want to accept Turkey in the European Union.

The Freedom Party is the only force, which has a program to deal with the danger – stop the Muslim immigration, stop building mosques, limit welfare for Muslims and polygamists, etc.

In the 1930’s England bravely fought Nazism. Today the Islamic fascism is taking over the country without armies and guns, because the politicians are giving it up meekly. However, the ordinary people are getting more vocal. Years ago in the online comments after an article about some “multicultural” atrocity, a few people cautiously criticized the incident, while now a similar article brings thousands of angry comments from people, who are fed up with being asked to keep quiet.

Canada should confront the danger boldly without repeating the errors of the Europeans. If the UK and the USA go, so does the Western civilization. A dominant Islam would impose a most barbaric ideology, which will bring us to the dark ages.

After the speech, Paul Weston answered many questions and talked to people privately.

When I came home, before I started to write, I checked the news. In Daily Mail I found an article confirming Paul Weston’s worst fears.

A 7-year old boy in England was branded a racist for asking his schoolmate: “Are you brown because you come from Africa?” The school authorities demanded that his mother sign a school form that he was racist. She refused, but I don’t think the case is over.

Among the hundreds of angry comments condemning the stupidity of the school, there were a few supporting the teachers. Here is one of them:

Any comment perceived to be racist HAS to be logged. The form she was asked to sign would not label her son a racist but state his involvement in a racist incident with a clear and accurate description of the incident, including quotes (the forms usually go out to parents of all involved, including any victim). This is standard procedure. Teachers and school staff are not in the habit of accusing young children of racism, and none of us know the context the ‘quote’ was said in, or any other background information, The LEA gather stats of racist incidents from schools so it would not be in their interest to falsely report racist incidents. Sounds like the parent is blowing this way out of proportion to me,which is ironic since that is what she is accusing the school of.

Sadly, Tony Blair and his retarded sister-in-law, who converted to Islam and is in love with Hamas, are not the only ones, who peddle the multicultural insanity. People like Cal are their trusty foot soldiers. In earlier times Cal would probably be chasing little girls to be burned at the stake as witches. It’s no wonder that the Muslim triumphant takeover of England continues undisturbed.

Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance. That’s what many Muslims claim, supported by their lefty friends. Even President George W. Bush once stated something like this.

Yes, it would have been nice if that was true – we would’ve lived in a beautiful huggy-feely world. Unfortunately, the claim galls apart every time it confronts reality.

Case in point – Switzerland. It was reported that a group of lovely Muslims has started a campaign to get rid of the cross in the Swiss flag. Their argument is that the cross “no longer corresponds to today’s multicultural Switzerland.”

The head honcho of the campaign, one Ivica Petrusic, stated in an interview Petrusic said in an interview that the cross has a Christian background and while the Christian roots of Switzerland should be respected, “it is necessary to separate church and state” because “Switzerland today has a great religious and cultural diversity. One has to ask if the State wants to continue building up a symbol in which many people no longer believe.”

Let’s stop and think what’s going on here. In Switzerland the Muslims are a minority of about 400,000. Yet, as you can see, they think it’s nothing to spit on the national dignity of a great country, which has achieved everything it has with hard work, ingenuity and traditions, which date hundreds of years.

If anything deserves to be called vicious aggression, that campaign definitely should be it.

The campaign becomes even more disgusting, if you consider the fact that most of those Muslims immigrants came from Bosnia and Kosovo. They were accepted on compassionate grounds – through the hospitality of the Swiss government they got shelter, food, and generous welfare payments. And now they are biting the hand that fed (and still feeds) them…

It’s all a result of the Slick Willy’s fight against the Christians in Yugoslavia. For some misguided reason Clinton and his West European friends found it necessary to twist the truth about the civil war in that country.

The Serbs were portrayed as the ultimate villains and the Muslim atrocities were totally ignored. The false propaganda covered up the Muslim bomb provocation on the market of Sarajevo and blamed the terrorist act on the Serbs. That served as an excuse to bomb the Christians. Later on the fake genocide in Srebrenica was added to the arsenal of the anti-Christian propaganda tools.

Later on they applied the same trick in Kosovo. The highly exaggerated number of the people killed in the conflict, was used by Clinton to launch a military attack on Serbia. The atrocities of the Muslim Albanians were covered and it took many years to reveal how the terrorists tortured and killed Serb civilians (cutting off their heads and harvesting their organs).

During both campaigns, USA urged the European countries to accept Muslim refugees. Some (like Bulgaria and Romania) refused, but others (like Switzerland) accepted. Now they are reaping the fruits of their unfortunate decision. Kosovo has been for many years one of the major centres of drugs distribution in Europe. Many of the shady characters involved in the Albanian drug Mafia are now proud residents of Switzerland, raising its crime rate.

The two Muslim countries created with Uncle Bill’s help – Bosnia and Kosovo – are utter failures both economically and politically. The “refugees” who flooded Switzerland have no intention of returning to those hellholes. Instead, they prefer to “reform” their adopted homeland.

This is not the first Islamist attack against Switzerland – last year the country successfully resisted the attempts to start building minarets at the mosques.

I am sure that there are Swiss Muslims, who really want to live in peace and respect the country, which has done so much for them. However, like every totalitarian ideology, Islam requires full submission. There are more than enough aggressive Islamists, who would try to impose their view point on the moderates.

Let’s hope that the Swiss are watching carefully what’s going on. They are a resilient people and have gone through more than enough of adversities. It would be a pity if they, if they allow their country to turn into a smaller version of Saudi Arabia.

Among the numerous boats that are going to take part in the mass provocation against Israel, the French boat occupies a special place.

Unlike most of the other vessels of the Gaza flotilla, which were purchased second-hand, Louise Michel is a pleasure boat with all the amenities necessary to accommodate comfortably the French lefties.

While the American hippies will have to endure a trip in crowded ships, their French colleagues would have enough space to meditate and contemplate over their mission. The communists and socialists from that country have always been classy people, who conducted their class struggle from chateaus and expensive hotels. (Let’s not forget Monsieur Strauss-Kahn who fought for his socialist ideals from $3,000 per night hotel rooms and included sex fights with pretty women in the mix).

Why should the French anti-Semites’ lifestyle be any worse?

There is only one small detail – the money paid for the cruise ship to Gaza came from the 600,000 Euro collected for the enterprise in France. Most of the
people donated small amounts, 5 to 10 Euro, and probably thought that the money was buying medical and other supplies.

It appears that the Gaza Fatland will get very little of that – most of the money was squandered on the ship, which is going to provide a pleasant summer cruise to a gang of lefty French anti-Semites. Although, it is not clear if the pleasure won’t end abruptly, once they reach Israel’s borders.

There’s nothing new here – the common people are supposed to pay and the socialists are supposed to spend the money any way they want.

A sucker is born every minute… That old saying still holds truth.

 

It was just reported that the popular Dutch politician Geert Wilders was acquitted of the hate speech charges against him. That should put an end to his long ordeal of persecution and harassment.

That doesn’t mean that the court fell in love with him or his opinions. They grudgingly admitted that although that wasn’t hate speech per se, his ideas could be considered borderline. Obviously, the European opinion-crashing machine is still operational, although not as well-oiled as before. This victory is just another step in the long struggle against the multi-cultural stupidity and medieval fanaticism in Europe.

There was an interesting comment to Mark Steyn’s article about the issue in National Review (h/t BCF). A Wilders-bashing Dutchman left a comment clarifying that Geert was charged under a hate-speech law introduced in 1935, designed to prevent the Hitlerist propaganda from influencing the country.

I wonder how that law saved Holland from being conquered. Oh, yes, it didn’t – soldiers from other countries, where free speech was never curbed, managed to save the Dutch a few years later.

Let’s hope that the case make the Dutch think more about what could go wrong with their country again, if they chase and abuse the people who dare say the truth.

 

 

A funny thing happened the other day in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The dawn found the dreary Monument of the Soviet Army partially redecorated.

Somebody painted several of the statues in bright colours giving them the appearance of comic book characters. Batman and the Joker were leading the group of attacking soldiers, followed by Santa Claus, Superman, Ronald McDonald, Wonder woman and others. Underneath they wrote: “Keeping Up with the Times.”

It was a nice attempt to bring life into one of the last remaining symbols of the totalitarianism in the country. There was quite a bit of Komar and Melamid’s SotsArt satire in that work. Unfortunately, the art survived for only a day – very early the next morning, the die-hard worshipers of communism’s corpse washed away the paint. The monument returned to its normal nondescript state.

Ever since the communism collapsed, the Monument of the Soviet Army has been in the centre of constant disputes and fights. Its enemies, who want it demolished, say that its existence doesn’t make any sense.

And they are right – the heroic scenes depicted on the monument never happened in Bulgaria. Although officially an ally of Germany in World War II, the country didn’t send any troops to the Eastern or the Western front. Bulgaria didn’t even accept Hitler’s demand to deport its Jews to his death camps. Through the efforts of the King, the Parliament, and the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, the 50,000 Bulgarian Jews were saved.

When the Russians reached the Bulgarian borders in September 1944, the country already had a government, which declared a war against Germany. Nevertheless, the Soviet Union declared a war against Bulgaria.

After the Soviet Army crossed the border, nobody fought them and not a single soldier was killed. The only graves you can find there are those of soldiers who got loaded with too much alcohol and died. There were also a few who were court marshalled and shot by their own units for marauding the locals.

Yet the Soviet Army didn’t return the gesture of friendship. They installed a pro-communist government led by the former fascist Kimon Georgiev, whose views “evolved” just a few months before the invasion. The Communist Party was so feeble and unpopular that it couldn’t provide competent people to form a government.

Within a year from the Russian invasion, over 50,000 Bulgarians (mostly politicians, intellectuals, journalists, etc.) were exterminated. Many others spent decades in the concentration camps built with Russian help, where torture and murders were considered normal.

The Monument of the Soviet Army has always stood like a sore thumb, which symbolizes the communist dictatorship.

It’s a disgrace that over 20 year after the end of communism there are enough deluded people to keep that monstrosity intact.

Not much is written about Bulgaria in the press. Although a member of the European Union, it is located at its periphery and is one of the poorest countries in the Union. Unlike Greece, it’s still not a member of the euro zone, so it can’t screw the economy the way Greece did.

Despite that, what happens in Bulgaria is symptomatic about how things are going to turn out in the multicultural European paradise. Last Friday the capital Sofia witnessed a bloody clash between Bulgarian nationalists and Islamists (mostly Bulgarian Turks). The Turks are the largest ethnic minority in Bulgaria, with nearly 1 million of them.

Most of them are descendants of the Bulgarians, who were forcibly converted to Islam by the Ottoman Empire, which occupied the country for nearly 500 years. Millions of Bulgarians perished during that occupation at the hands of Turks. A common practice at the time was the so-called “blood tax” – a practice involving taking away healthy little Christian boys. After imposing Islam on them, they were segregated into special barracks, forced to speak only Turkish and prepared to become “enichars” – members of a special military corps, which was used to fight Christians.

Despite the hatred, which accumulated through the centuries, Bulgaria avoided any significant clashes between Bulgarians and Turks during the last century (Yugoslavia wasn’t that lucky with its Muslims). Under communism, religion played very insignificant role, which prevented Islam from taking over the minds of the Turks.

Now things are changing rapidly. After the fall of communism, Bulgaria turned into a quasi-democracy of South American type, where each government can fulfil only one mandate – every time voters are disappointed with the undelivered promises and look for a new saviour party.

The corrupt governments have practically destroyed agriculture, the main source of income for many Turks. To make things worse, a very large part of them grows tobacco, an activity, which is neither sponsored nor supported by the European Union.

That situation makes Turks a fertile ground for spreading Islam. Turkey was the first to take advantage – since 1990’s it has increasing its influence; it is
even sponsoring a Turkish political party in Bulgaria (called Movement for Rights and Freedoms). Strictly, the party is illegal, because the law prohibits ethnic political parties, but nobody cares since that’s not a law-abiding country. Besides that, the Turkish party is just as corrupt as the Bulgarian parties.

The next one to put foot in the door was Saudi Arabia. Its numerous foundations started to sponsor Islamization – they built over 1000 new mosques and started to promote actively Islamic education in the Turkish parts of the country. The results of two decades of work are visible today – many Turks are barely able to speak Bulgarian, which prevents them from leaving the areas of high unemployment and getting decent jobs. Many students rarely go beyond the madrassas sponsored by the Islamic foundations.

All that contributed to the increase of the ethnic tensions. Just like in other European countries, the process materialized itself into the creation of nationalist party – Ataka (Attack).

During the last elections, Ataka won considerable number of seats in the parliament. Since the ruling party (GERB) has a minority government, they depend on the nationalists. Their declared goal is to sever the tentacles of the Turkish and Saudi Islamic influence.

The Friday clash happened during a planned protest of Ataka near the central mosque in Sofia. It was built in the 16^th century. When the Turks occupied Bulgaria, they demolished all Christian cathedrals and churches (in Constantinople only St. Sophia survived to be turned into a monstrous mosque). They imposed a law, according to which a Christian church shouldn’t be taller than a rider on a horse. Christians had to dig deep underground to make churches spacious enough to conduct proper service. Here is a picture of that mosque and below you see an example of an Orthodox Christians church of the same era, which still survives (located a few hundred meters from the same mosque):

 

 

What id Ataka protest? As you can see in he picture, the mosque has a minaret, from which the imam calls for prayers ive times a day. The closet Muslim Obama said somewhere that those calls were ome of the most beautiful sounds he’s ever heard.

I beg to differ – if you’ve had the misfortune to hear those calls, I don’t think you would agree with Obama. They resemble the howling of a mortally wounded she-wolf. What makes it worse is that the mosque uses powerful amplifiers, which makes the howling totally unbearable. That wouldn’t have been a problem in some God forsaken Muslim country, but that mosque is located in the heart of downtown Sofia, near the Presidency and other government buildings. There are no Muslims living in the few residential buildings in the area.

City Hall didn’t do anything to reduce the noise, despite many years of complaints. Ataka’s protest, for which they properly registered and got permission from the city, was against that disturbance. They gathered nearby and one of them climbed a small building adjacent to the mosque (but not part of it) to place a loudspeaker (the pictures below are stills from a report by the Bulgarian news site News.bg).

 

At that moment they were attacked by Muslims supposedly praying in the mosque. For some reason, the pious Muslims were well prepared with knives, rocks and logs (it’s nice to have friends at city hall). In the beginning of the fight, the police didn’t interfere. Only after things got out of control, they started
arresting people, but most of them were nationalists. You can see below one of those arrested nationalist. On the back of his shirt it says: “Erdogan, you owe
us 10 billion Euros.” Erdogan is the current Prime Minister of Turkey and that’s the amount his country agreed to pay in 1923 for its atrocities (not a dime has been paid so far).

 

During the clash many people were injured. One of them was the Ataka MP Denitsa Gadjeva, who was hit with a rock on the head and had to be taken to an emergency hospital with concussion.

The curious result of that was that the next day almost everything was blamed on the nationalists. The notorious Helsinki Committee of Bulgaria (a bunch of parasites sponsored by Soros) formally demanded that the nationalist party be banned.  The District Attorney of Sofia threatened them with charges of peace disturbance.

 

 

 

As I said in the beginning, the whole case is symptomatic of what is going on in Europe. The bloated Union bureaucracy still lives in the imaginary flower world of the 1960’s, where we all are brothers and sisters. According to their recipes, all problems can be solved by giving away more welfare money and
creating more useless office positions to monitor the unruly Europeans.

In that world, all the nationalist parties and movements that have been popping up in different countries are simply creations of a few evil individuals, whom the bureaucrats supposedly can easily scare into obedience through threats and show trials.

It’s beyond belief – they don’t realize that if similar organizations appear in different countries, maybe that’s a symptom of the society’s malfunction. The
clash of different cultures is not going to be resolved by accommodating the most bizarre customs at the price of eroding the traditional European culture.

The creeping Islamization of the Balkan countries is a warning to the sleepy Europe. It has been often said that the Balkans are the powder keg of Europe.
Is the continent going to ignore the fire again and let the keg explode taking down everybody?

It was bound to happen, as I reported earlier. The so-called “revolutions” in the Arab countries in North Africa, so far have not brought anything good. Their only outcome is the weakening of the local power, which gave the opportunity to more illiterate people to leave their countries in the hope that they would get advantage of the generous welfare system of Western Europe.

It has been reported that the Arabs who already invaded the Italian island of Lampedusa have have exceeded in numbers the local population. But since the local population is still responsible for feeding those parasites (there is no help from the European Union at this point), that already takes its toll. There are reports that many people gather around the “refugee” camp, which is already full beyond capacity, shouting and yelling at those residing in it.

Of course, the European lefties would brand them “racists”, but what difference does that make, if the definition comes from useless bureaucrats and academics who haven’t worked a day in their lives? The common people who were stuck with those barbarians will be forced to pick the tab for supporting their useless existence.

Germany has already refused to take any of those “refugees” while Sweden is more than eager to take most of them. I wonder how many months it would take before the Swedish welfare state collapses providing carefree existence to to those Muslims…
