Video of Toronto Commies Mourn Comandante Hugo Chavez
Here is a video of the yesterday’s candlelight vigil, which the Toronto lefties held to honour their fallen master Hugo Chavez. Note the fiery speech of the lady from the Communist Party of Canada and listen to the worst revolutionary song ever written, sang by the worst singer who ever lived.
Toronto Candlelight Vigil for the Dictator Hugo Chavez
A bunch of assorted lefties held today a candlelight vigil for the late Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez (thanks Sassywire for the info). When I attend such events, I always recall Albert Einstein’s observation that two things are infinite – the universe and the human stupidity – and he isn’t sure about the first one.
The people gathered in the park were mourning the death of a man, who, though elected, exercised full control over his country. His government didn’t like the free press or anybody else who disagreed with his revolution.
He oversaw a corrupt country where few rights were respected; where a business never had the security to operate safely. Not surprisingly, the economy tanked and the huge inflation ate up the savings of many people.
All those misfortunes had little effect on Hugo Chavez and his friends. The modest colonel, son of teachers, reportedly died a billionaire – his family was $2 billion richer at the time of his death. It is hard to believe that he saved the money from his salary. He also provided the discounted oil supply to Cuba, which prevented the old vampires Fidel and Raul Castro from turning into dust.
All that didn’t find its place in the speeches of the Toronto revolutionaries. One could’ve thought that they were talking of a completely different person.
The speakers from different organizations praised Old Hugo as a compassionate, but uncompromising saint, who did nothing but good. All of them condemned the message of the Canadian Government to the Venezuelan people as insulting – they were sincerely outraged that it didn’t worship the genius of Hugo.
An old lady from the Communist Party of Canada delivered a fiery speech condemning Harper’s government as a bunch of thieves who not only stole the election, but also committed many crimes and robbed the people from their money. She promised a revolution to overthrow them, the kind that Chavez made (you can see her in the video).
Other than the usual ancient Canadian hippies, who don’t know any better and take any leftist ideology at its face value, there were people from other countries. Other than Venezuelan I saw Salvadorian, Ghanaian, Cuban and other flags, including the flag of Farabundo Marti, the guerrilla organization from El Salvador.
And that was the saddest part, because there were many people from South America. After the rally, all of them would return to their houses and apartments, paid either by the social services or the money they make from working for somebody. They won’t starve and nothing will disturb their mundane existence in Canada. The “horrible” and “murderous” capitalist system, which all speakers condemned, will ensure their carefree life.
At the same time, many people in Venezuela and Cuba would go to bed hungry thinking how to escape from the incredibly “successful” societies that the genius of the Castro brothers and Hugo Chavez built. And for some reason the revolutionaries chose to come to Canada instead of helping Chavez to build the perfect socialist society.
I agree with Einstein – the human stupidity knows no limits…

A Madhouse Called York University
Imagine a place of higher learning, where a student shares publicly her dream to open Toronto’s first masturbation bar… where a Jewish cheerleading team captain with a goatee and dreadlocks runs for a student office on the platform of providing cheap halal burgers… where a multicultural flag display includes the flag of a notorious terrorist group… where Israeli apartheid anti-Semites (oops, “anti-Zionists”) rally to kick out the crime-investigating police from their campus…
This is not an outtake from a bad Andy Warhol movie – it’s the reality of York University (YU) in Toronto. If it wasn’t that far from downtown, I would’ve visited it more frequently – a few hours spent there provide more material than OISE does for weeks.
As usual, I went there because I was notified of an event I couldn’t miss. It was a People’s Forum on Campus Safety, which sounds great – safety should be our concern. There had been a series of harassment incidents on the territory of the university (as far as I can recall from the news I’ve read). Oddly enough, one of those crimes involved Korans thrown into garbage bins and it caused a strong reaction:
“Students are appalled at this incident of Islamophobia on our campus and strongly condemn such hateful acts,” said Safiyah Husein, Vice-President Equity for the York Federation of Students. “Islamophobia on campus, like all forms of hate and discrimination, compromises the ability of students to work, live and study in a safe and inclusive environment.
I am not aware for how long had Ms. Husein lived in Canada, but in our country destroying a book is not a crime. (Besides, in many countries Muslims have destroyed Korans as a provocation.) She probably condemned the act from the point of view of sharia, the barbaric Muslim law, which punishes by death every act of blasphemy. She should be reminded that sharia is not the law of Canada, although looking at the YU campus, which looks more like Saudi Arabia than Canada, the introduction of sharia is probably imminent.
But this won’t be York University, if even the serious crime issues aren’t twisted in an unrecognizable way. In their e-mail, the organizers stated:
In order to challenge violence on campus, we must address the systemic causes of violence – including misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, racism, poverty, war, and ongoing settler-colonialism on First Nations land. Increasing police presence is at best a “band-aid” solution to a broader social problem.
Only a bunch of campus morons can look at a crime and turn it into a Marxist laundry list of social vices. I am “sure” the thugs who did the harassment are deeply scarred by the foreign wars and colonialism of Indian land (one must be excessively stupid to believe that). I am also sure that some Indian tribe somewhere claims the YU compound as its land and those progressive people can easily decolonize it by packing their shit and moving away.
They even want the only entity capable of solving the crimes, the police, to leave campus:
Increased police presence on campus has actually led to many students feeling unsafe at York University. Police are not the answer to addressing the serious concerns of gender-based violence. Racial profiling has been a common practice by police in low-income and racialized communities, prompting the ‘carding’ of many black male students and community members at York University. Women and trans people are not safe with cops on campus! Racialized students are not safe with cops on campus! Free Speech is not safe with cops on campus! We want to hear from you – the students and community members of York University!
Don’t forget those people are getting college education, not a Black Panthers crash course in oppression. Their stupidity is inexcusable. The last incident happened on December 5 – two men in a van abducted somebody from the campus. I wonder how the fighters against “transphobia” or any other made up words would’ve prevented that. An armed cop or a security guard could’ve been the only successful deterrent. It is easier to understand that insanity when you see who organized the event:
A coalition of student and community groups and organizations – including Justice Is Not Colour-Blind (JINCB), York University Black Students’ Alliance (YUBSA), Ontario Public Interest Research Group (OPIRG) York, the Centre for Women and Trans People (CWTP), CUPE 3903 Trans-Feminist Action Collective, the Graduate Students Association at York (YUGSA), and Students Against Israeli Apartheid (SAIA) York – invite you on February 7 to a People’s Forum on Campus Safety.
YUBSA or the York United Black Students’ Alliance as they identify themselves on their webpage, are
“a pan-Africanist organization that services all students and people at York University and the wider community that adhere to the racial identity of “Black” despite their nationalistic identities.”
One of the perks you get when you join is “The Black Card”:
“Available to all members, Comes with a free YUBSA t-shirt, Discounts at local Black businesses.”
So this is a race-based organization, where you get discounts based on your race. What if one of the business owners is white and the other black, do they get only half the discount? Isn’t this… how should I put it mildly… blatantly racist? O, I forgot, only white people can be racist.
Canada is of concern only if it can be pictured as a racist country. At the event they made a point of displaying only the pan-African flag.
Among the organizers we find CUPE 3903 Trans-Feminist Action Collective. One of their activists, a “co-chair” (do they have a “co-table”?) is Johannah May Black, a Ph.D. student in Political Science (what else?). He/she is also a part of Students against Israeli Apartheid.
In one of his/her tweets she/he shares an opinion about a book on the “Israel lobby”:
His/her indignation caused by the “powerful Jews”… sorry, “Zionists”, is impressive. I want to point out something here – in Tel Aviv you can see the homosexual flag in many places, there are also many people with the “fluid gender” gay-parade-freaky look probably similar to those united in the “Trans-Feminist Collective”. Nobody bothers them. However, the left-leaning “Lonely Planet” guide I used during my trip sternly warns that any homosexual activity is prohibited in Gaza and the PLO-controlled territories. A gay parade specimen won’t last more than 20 minutes in those Arab lands (a tranny even less). Yet the militant homosexuals in Canada keep blackmailing the only country in the Middle East that gives them rights. Are they that dumb? Do you really need an answer?
The event itself matched the insanity displayed in the e-mail from the organizers. The Vari Hall lobby was decorated with a huge sign inviting the cops to get off campus (shown in the pictures above). Next to it I saw another sign, just as big, announcing “Students Against Israeli Apartheid: Free Speech on Campus”:
A smaller sign demanded termination of racial profiling:
Everybody who came for the event was handed a small leaflet outlining the position of the organizers. Other than repeating the point for addressing the “structural causes” of violence, it also had some practical suggestions:
“Police on campus, security newly armed, and 24/7 surveillance systems perpetuate fear mongering and criminalization.”
No, dimwits, surveillance is the only way to catch the people who attack your lesbians and trannies.
On the other side of the leaflet we are introduced to the police atrocities on YU campus. The most recent cases include black male students being “carded” by the police (no examples given). The next case is the famous statement by a police officer that girls should not dress like sluts to avoid rape. That was three years ago! And looking at the hijabs and niqabs at YU, the place is safe from horny males, because slut dress is out of YU.
The last example goes back to 2005 when peaceful protesters at Vari Hall were arrested and beaten by the police. I would appreciate it if any SANE reader gives me more information on that case.
Additional indication of the nature of the event was the tiny stand of the peddlers of communist “Truth”:
One of the booklets they were handing out contained an article proposing a Marxist approach for resolving the hockey strike by taking the working class game away from the greedy capitalists.
The crowd wasn’t that big – probably about 40 people. Hijabs and angry black t-shirts dominated the landscape. The notorious kaffiyeh scarf, made world-famous by the camel-faced terrorist gnome Yasser Arafat, was prominently displayed on the necks of most people.
The megaphones they used were not that good. Neither were the speakers – a weird gallery of angry Arabs, Malcolm X look-alikes and unidentifiable persons.
Somebody from the “trans-collective” spoke against sexual assaults and pointed at patriarchy as their cause. Sorry, I couldn’t figure out whether it was a man whose gender “flowed” into a new Chaz Bono or a woman who was “born that way”:
A very articulate gentleman from the communist group threw the police into a lake of fire and brimstone. He gave some examples, without going into details, like a case where the police beat to death a “Filipino youth” (where, when?). He also noted angrily that in Mexico police are not allowed on campus at all. (Great, that’s why in Mexico if you argue with the wrong people you can lose your head, literally.)
They kept calling people from the audience to talk about cases of police brutality, but nobody could come up with a convincing, Dr. Goebbels worthy propaganda story. After over an hour of gabbing and chanting without any tangible result, the forum ended with many people excited about its success.
Then I took a walk around the university trying to find a place where I can eat a meal with pork. It wasn’t an easy task because most of the restaurants at YU serve halal food. That allowed me to see what is being promoted on the premises.
I was delighted to see my MP Olivia Chow on the front page of the local paper – Excalibur.
Not far from the forum’s location the Muslims had a table with their own propaganda literature, inviting everybody to explore the fascinating world of the Islamic cult.
Not far from their table a saw a poster advertising a course in Creative Sexual Exploration for Women:
“Workshops include discussions and activities on topics such as sacred-sexuality, self-love, safety, presence, holding space, boundary setting, flow in sexual orientation/gender, tantra, toys and kink. Each week a topic is briefly presented then women are encouraged to explore how it resonates with them through activities in visual, theatrical and movement arts.”
Are kink and safety compatible? Does the course welcome preoperative trannies, who see themselves as women? No answer to these questions… I am sure the course is a hit among the hijab crowd.
Another conference promised to enlighten us about the ideas that can change the world. It must be valuable, because the evil entity OISE is sponsoring it. Placing on the poster the face of the undead communist vampire Angela Davis surely adds more credibility to that OISE event.
The retards from York International Socialists (even dumber than Angela) were planning a discussion about racism, planning to derive it from the evils of capitalism.
A bunch of Somali and Ethiopian students were preparing to ponder the question about their identity. “Who are we? What does it mean to be an East African in Canada?” Here is a suggestion – why don’t you ask what you can do about Canada, the country that took you out of your hellholes?
The higher-level lefties had their own displays. I saw a few small posters (authorized by the university) in which masked people shared their dreams about future professional realization.
I mentioned in the beginning the lady who sees herself in 2027 as a successful owner of Toronto’s first masturbation bar. I am sure that would be another winner among the hijab Muslims.
Another fine lady, who is going to graduate in 2015 in the field of business and economics, plans to travel across Canada in 2020 while doing some dumpster diving. I think this is a realistic vision of a person’s future when she holds a degree from York University.
There is also some kind of a student election campaign going on at YU. I saw many little posters promoting the candidates, all of them with the standard header “Unity our Goal, Diversity our Strength!” Another empty slogan, a relic from the times of the dying communism. The hijab and the beard looked to be dominant attributes of the candidates (not always at the same time).
Here are a few samples (I am not going to charge them for the publicity). Below is Huda Alsarraj, probably a Syrian Arab, because she lists among her credentials a membership in the Syrian Revolution Club. Probably Osama is the spiritual patron of the club, because there is no other reason for a pretty young girl to dress like a widowed Russian babushka from Novosibirsk.
Harry Warshaw was one of the very few white males running for office. As a Jew and a beneficiary of the secret illuminati perks (which only the Black Card holders and the Israeli Apartheid people can see), he is a difficult case. He has the advantage of having been cheerleader captain. (Weren’t cheerleaders supposed to be girls? Forget it, that’s York University, Jack.)
A powerful element in his platform is the promise to fight for cheap halal burgers – only 2 bucks!
I am still not sure if this would help him win.
I was pleasantly surprised to see my old pal Mariam Hamaoui on one of those posters. The rich experiences she listed modestly omit some of her important endeavors. She was very actively involved in defending and promoting the cafeteria mosque (a.k.a. “mosqueteria” at the Valley Park public school), where Muslim fanatics separated students by gender and menstruation patterns. I wonder how this fits into the “unity and diversity” paradigm peddled by York University.
She has also been a staple at most Jew-hating events I have covered.
I am sure if she mentions those credentials, she will win by a landslide. After all, that is York University…
So that’s it, folks – York University in all of its usual glory. Though spending a few hours at that place provides superb entertainment, when you think about all those people, things don’t look that funny anymore. It is hard to comprehend their total lack of connection with reality.
Of course, there is no law in Canada stopping somebody from being an idiot. The trouble starts when you realize that those idiots will graduate. They’ll provide the pool from which the new human rights inquisitors and ignorant educators are going to be picked. They’ll be the new Barbara Hall, Jennifer Lynch and other similar personalities, who shall remain unnamed.
Well, that’s not funny anymore, it’s scary…

How the Retreating Commies from Occupy Toronto Killed St. James Park
Last Wednesday morning the stinky bums from the Occupy Toronto movement were finally kicked out of St. James Park. Yet in a way that wasn’t a joyful event – looking at the park, you can’t help but notice the devastation they brought to the place.
Like a group of devoted communists forced to retreat, they used the “scorched land” tactics. They turned the once beautiful park into a mud-covered field with the delicate stench of urine still floating in the air.
Over a month ago, the day the occupation started, the leftist press was cheering the “great” cause. Here is one of the clean fellas, who showed up that day, bringing in the noble message: “STOP KILLING OUR ENVIRONMENT FOR $$$” (notice the lush grass):
Most of those who started, quickly moved away, but the bums, who finished the occupation killed the St. James Park environment for free. That’s not exactly true, CUPE and other unions financed them, so there was some union $$$ involved in the destruction. Here is how the park looked on Wednesday afternoon when the tents were gone:
I don’t know about you, but can you entrust the “saving of the planet” to a bunch of pathetic losers, who are neither willing nor able to protect even one park?
The eviction started early in the morning and some of the media reported that it was going on in a civilized way. Judy Rebick, one of the ideologists of those Marxist loons, showed up there and was caught on tape discussing the eviction (h/t BCF):
You can’t get more pathetic. She talks about a gazebo and a yurt as a centre of resistance, yet she sounds like Trotsky discussing the battle of Tsaritsyn (the future Stalingrad). Make no mistake, if given enough power, people like her would really turn as violent as Trotsky.
By the time I went to the park in the afternoon, all of the tents were gone. Some TV stations already reported about the needles and syringes found in the areas where the tents once stood. It wasn’t a surprise – you should’ve been blind not to notice that so many of those occupiers were junkies and drunks.
However, following the brilliant strategic advice of Judy the war theorist, the few remaining junkies still held the gazebo and one of the yurts. There were probably around 200 police officers still dealing with the situation. The unionized city workers were collecting the piles of garbage left by the bums.
The gazebo was occupied by the mindless drummers, who kept drumming, while surrounded by a police cordon:
The last remaining yurt’s defence was placed in the hands of the anarchists of the Black Bloc, the elite force of the occupiers. Since in this situation the Bloc couldn’t apply its usual tactics – breaking windows, beating up people and burning cars – they had to be satisfied with a more modest resistance. They put some incoherent idiot with a black flag at the top of a wooden scaffold. The guy was probably high or drunk, because he lost his balance a few times.
A few of the scary “Mohawk Warriors” were still there. They didn’t have the protection provided to them in Caledonia (where they can beat up elderly people), so all that they could do here was to wander around aimlessly:
And of course, Big Sister was there as well (I wonder what she had in that container):
Some of the remaining junk piled near the border made the place look like a first-class Romanian gypsy camp:
After long contemplation, the police finally decided to act. First, they went to the gazebo, escorting the city garbage collectors, who were supposed to clear the area.
The drumming psychopaths did nothing to stop them. I think they were too intoxicated to notice the invasion. Otherwise, it would have made for a great PR spectacle: “O City workers! We fought for you! Why do you destroy our sanctuary?”
But nothing like that happened. It was funny to watch the unionized workers rip the Ontario Federation of Labour sign from the gazebo:
After everything was said and done, the gazebo came back to its (almost) original, with a very few nuts remaining inside:
At approximately the same time, the rest of the police force prepared to deal with the scary anarchists:
After warning the junkies, who didn’t want to leave the yurt, the police went in and arrested them one by one. They even had to carry one of them, because he didn’t want to walk. Here is an anarchist being arrested:
The yurt was slowly emptied among the screams and squeals of the remaining nuts. However, when the police van tried to leave the park, Alinsky’s disciples quickly regrouped and formed a wall in front of it:
All of them were there – the Ice Queen, the punk, the weird priest, the Indian who screamed that kicking them from the park was the same as stealing his land, etc.:
At certain point, one of the hardcore junkies climbed a tree (breaking quite a few twigs in the process) and started yelling and screaming to make his point, while hanging upside down. I have no idea how he survived:
Two other guys followed him up the tree. In the end the things got so heated that another idiot had to be arrested:
Finally, the police cleared the way and the van was able to leave:
While all that was going on, a large crowd of bystanders were watching and talking. Being one of them, I shared my opinion with a guy next to me about what a waste of time and money the whole thing was. I was unexpectedly attacked by a girl with purple hair, heavy makeup, fishnet stockings and cheap jewellery, who screamed at me that I was a total asshole, who has no idea how important the protest is. Making a mental note not to provoke in person mentally ill people (whose fashion accessories are made in the People’s Republic of China), I retreated toward the street following the van.
As soon as the van reached Adelaide Street, it was faced with another wall of anarchist junkies:
This blocked completely the traffic of Jarvis and Adelaide for the next several hours. (For the people who don’t know anything about Toronto, the traffic there is usually heavy.) I am not sure if the next move of the police was planned, but they opened the van and released the arrested idiots:
Of course, they issued tickets and photographed them, but I still don’t know why they let them go. That was taken as a huge victory. One of the protesters present kept yelling at the police: “Thank you, officers for f****** me in the ass!” (even though, to the best of my knowledge, no such activity took place). It’s unbelievable how much verbal abuse are the police supposed to take without saying or doing anything.
Meanwhile, back in the park, the city workers were removing the last remains of the yurt, with the police officers standing nearby and taking all the insults from the remaining idiots.
After the circus finished, while walking back to the subway station, I kept pondering the question, which Jerry Springer always asks in the end of his show: “What did we learn today?” Yes, it was a legitimate question, considering the fact, that everything that happened during the occupation was worthy of the Jerry Springer show.
Here is what we learned: we live in a democracy, which is strong enough to allow a gang of parasites, who have never worked or can’t find jobs because of their useless degrees, congregate in a public park without clear demands, other than the vague desire to destroy the current system, live there for over a month demanding (and receiving) vegan and gluten-free food, bananas, kiwis and oranges, and smoke or inject all the dugs they want.
Is this good or bad? Well, if you think that hundreds of police officers worked overtime for over a month to protect those idiots; that the unions spent hundreds of thousands of dollars stolen from the dues paid by their members to feed the junkies; that the park was destroyed and it would take months of work by union workers and hundreds of thousands of dollars to restore it, it looks like the unions were the only entities that benefited from that show.
And of course the bums got free food and drugs for a month…
And who was the loser? The taxpayer, of course… But that’s nothing new. In Ontario the taxpayers always lose…

Burned Paper, Trash, Dyke Chaplains, Jolly Tranny, Sacred Fire, and Brian Lilley at Occupy Toronto
It was a rocky week for the occupiers of St. James Park. After the eviction notice issued by the city was challenged in court last week, on Monday Judge Brown finally made his decision to get rid of the squatters.
During that week, the forces, which tried very hard to present the movement they created as a spontaneous club of rainbow-loving hippies, dropped the charade and got more involved. Yes, we knew all along that the unions and the powerful lefty elites were behind it, but it was nice to see them admitting it.
Tuesday last week, after the eviction notices were issued, the notorious CUPE stated its intention to fight the removal. In a tweet they said:
Then the very, very scary group of the hacking misfits, Anonymous, threatened the City Hall:
We are still waiting for their devastating wrath…
The dyke city councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam also released her own brand of wrath. (Hey, Barbara Hall, am I allowed to use the word “dyke”? I guess I can, if the lesbians are using it).
Then she tried to shame the city government (of which she is supposedly a part):
She even enlisted in her campaign the wisdom of the masses:
While that campaign was underway, representatives of the trade unions requested a court intervention to stop the eviction. I visited the place on Monday afternoon, after the eviction order was upheld. The mainstream media, sensing the coming crackdown, had already sent their vultures to cover it:
Other than the usual psychotic atmosphere, you could feel creeping desperation – the squatters were frantically trying to make themselves look better.
I saw them display a quote from the Criminal Code, which deals with interruption of peaceful gathering with religious or benevolent purpose:
It was a funny sight when you consider how those people rejected the judicial system of the “capitalist state” and ignored the many laws they violated while occupying the park. But hey, that’s Lenin’s way – exploit the weaknesses of the “bourgeois democracy” until you destroy it.
Under the threat of eviction, they miraculously turned to Christianity. During my previous visits, the only references to religion were the Friday Muslim prayers and the Muslim propaganda stand. But now – lo and behold – the occupiers had chaplains, although all of them were lesbians from the United Church. That trick is easy to figure out, because in case of eviction the occupiers considered taking refuge at the nearby St. James Cathedral.
Here is one of them preaching in full attire, even with the homosexual rainbow included:
Next to her is that weird guy, who appeared in Ezra Levant’s first field report from the park. That’s a microphone taped with duct tape to his hand (he must be some kind of an Alinsky cyborg). During the sermon he fell into ecstasy, which was not shared by the people around:
At the steps of the cathedral I saw another smiley lesbian chaplain, with a woman-minister standing next to her:
It was nice to see with them the jolly tranny, who impressed me with his/her dancing the first day. Something was missing in him/her under those man’s clothes.
Thinking of that religious conversion, I wondered how it complied with the atheist beliefs of the several communist parties, which camped in the park. Even the anarchists from Black Bloc displayed their contempt for religion at their little shop (“NO GODS, NO MASTERS”):
On the other hand, I don’t know how that big demand could co-exist with the little sign they displayed as well: “Please DON’T HURT THE YURTS”
Such a pansy-type statement was sure to hurt their image. Anyway, there were some signs that doomsday was coming. I saw a few people taking out stuff from the yurt near the kitchen:
Other tents were fully removed, but the garbage and filth they contained was still haunting the park:
Of course, nothing could beat the horrible smell from the kitchen trash that probably hasn’t been taken out for many days:
It was a pleasant surprise to see the same weird people all over again. Here is Mr. Dirty Pants, whom I have been following from the beginning (you can see him in my previous posts):
He wears the same pants, jacket and shirt he did on October 15 (the day they occupied the park). I don’t even want to think about his underwear. (Hey, HRC, is it discrimination to say somebody’s wearing dirty clothes?)
Then I saw the scary ghost of the lesbian future:
It was nicely complemented by the crazy preacher at the top of a tree:
And how can you miss the annoying drummers, one of the main reasons why the occupying idiots are hated so much:
An occupation won’t be complete without the Indians and their sacred fire. It was definitely there. The week before, the furious occupiers complained about the city’s disapproval of the fire. They tweeted that the Fire Marshall had no problem with it:
If what they say is true, we are totally screwed – obviously there is a separate law for Indian fire. If I start a fire in a public park, I’ll be arrested, fingerprinted, and fined.
I approached the tent with the sacred fire trying to see what was going on and take a picture. The problem was that there were two girls, who stared at me and followed every one of my moves. (It didn’t help that I was coming from a luncheon lecture of the Canadian Ambassador to Japan Jonathan Fried and probably was seen as an overdressed representative of the 1%). As soon as I took out my iPhone to take a picture, both of them chased me screaming: “It’s a first nation sacred fire, no pictures, no pictures!” which was followed by a string of words I can’t repeat here.
As I was escaping their fury, I spotted Brian Lilley from SUN TV.
His gloomy appearance didn’t show much of excitement for being among the young people, who are the future of our nation. And I don’t blame him, when you go through the pictures above, you know why he may feel like that. My consolation was that his cameraman was shouted at as well by the two Indian girls when he passed the sacred fire.
The restraint the officers showed was amazing (I don’t know if their hijab squad would’ve been able to deal with those insults).
To demonstrate their complete contempt for authorities, the occupiers decided to burn the eviction notices, which the city served them earlier, in front of the police:
That was really sad to watch. They obviously thought they were reliving the times of Jerry Rubin and Abby Hoffman, when the hippies used to burn their draft cards. But as their idol Karl Marx said once, history repeats itself first as tragedy, second as farce. The 1960’s hippies, whom those losers emulate, had a good reason to avoid draft – it could’ve killed them. The 2011 occupiers just wanted to stay in the park doing nothing, drinking, getting high, and eating at union expense.
We live in a sad world…

Gluten-Free Food for the World Revolution
As I mentioned before, every visit to the Occupy Toronto camp is a source of endless entertainment. I’ll really miss them when they get kicked out or the unions stop paying for their food.
Talking of food, here is a nice picture of a billboard near the kitchen area. It gives you a deeper look into the culinary tastes of the revolutionary army, which is determined to transform Canada:
That looks like some kind of a food wish list designed to appeal to the good hearts of the suckers, who provide free food.
So what is needed most urgently? Fruit, of course – banana, kiwi, orange! Ain’t that sweet?
Bananas are imported from poor Central American and African countries, which are exploited by evil imperialists like United Fruit. Those globalist companies keep the banana producers in poverty. Banana republic is one of the favourite Marxist terms. Wouldn’t it be more appropriate to boycott the banana importers?
And what about kiwis and oranges? Did the occupiers forget the massive carbon footprint, which the transportation companies leave when importing them into Canada?
Obviously, helping the local apple farmers is too boring. And I thought that they were the 99% as well.
They didn’t forget the ultimate food symbol of the progressives – the granola bar. They even combine it with soymilk. Don’t they know that the soybeans are the ultimate politically incorrect food source? Countless enviro-fascists keep reminding us that the soy is a heavily genetically modified plant.
The special needs are not forgotten either – they want diabetic, gluten-free, and vegan food as well.
And in case somebody thought they went too far, they are quick to add – LET’S AIM FOR ZERO CARBON FOOTPRINT, NO DISPOSABLES. Does that mean that they eat the bones, the plates and the forks?
Those nice people even plan to build a solar power generator – they are very smart, with “some college” education so they know it will work perfectly in the rainy and foggy Toronto in November.
Maybe all these demands are normal and a part of the revolutionary struggle?
I am sure Che Guevara worked closely with the food suppliers of his gang in Bolivia to ensure the right balance of vegan and gluten-free food.
And when Lenin was hiding in countryside during the summer of 1917, he surely had granola bars and soymilk delivered to him.
I just wrote that meaning it to be sarcastic, but I realized that the occupiers are not a very bright bunch and may think it is true. No, it isn’t. Lenin and Che were too preoccupied with their sinister plans to care about food.
On the other hand, the billboard is just another proof of the real nature of the “occupy movement”. We have a large group of lazy people, who lie in their dirty tents smoking dope and drinking. As an entertainment, they draw silly signs and drum mindlessly.
At the same time, they have the nerve to demand special food, some of which contradicts their own principles. They don’t even want to work for the food, expecting somebody to deliver it to them for free, because they are such “noble souls”.
Message to the union bosses: For weeks, you have been spending your members’ money to feed the occupy losers. You are not getting your money’s worth. Those lazy bums are not going to advance your “revolution”. It’s time to cut your losses…

Free Mental Health Care for Occupy Wall Street Now!
I was browsing the website, which hosts pictures with the individual demands of the Occupy Wall Street protesters, looking for intelligent life. Among the misfits demanding money, jobs and compensation for degrees in lesbian studies, transgender penguin husbandry and what not, I came across the following picture:
The couple demands “adequate mental care”, stated on a sign ending with “love rage liberty”. They both looked like people who could benefit from an extended stay at a mental institution. And I definitely agree that they are the 99% (of their movement at least).
Then I saw the video of an angry guy, who sent an ultimatum to the Oakland police:
He is definitely very specific. His stern warning should be taken seriously, because he owns a pair of handcuffs. He knows how to use it to arrest all the officers from the Oakland police department. You can’t see his face clearly, because his mom doesn’t allow him to use bright light bulbs in the basement.
After writing quite a bit about the movement and being accused of being heartless and insensitive, I think I found a common ground with it.
I see that those people (and a few others in Occupy Toronto) are in an acute need of qualified psychiatric help. Therefore, I am willing to support any petition or request for placing those folks in a mental asylum. That would be better for them and even better for us.
I suppose that now I deserve to be called compassionate by the movement.

Occupy Toronto, Week Two – Filth and Islamism
Last Saturday I went again to the Occupy Toronto camp at St. James Park. I should admit that I find those trips very entertaining and I wish I could go there more often, but unfortunately, I have to work for a living.
The new addition, which you notice as soon as you enter, is the huge number of portable toilets. Probably the cleaning is not a part of the maintenance agreement, because the stench coming from them is unbearable. After surviving it, you would find the smell of urine around some of the tents almost pleasant.
There was mud everywhere – the grass has been completely destroyed.
To improve the situation, somebody threw around a large amount of hay. If you have been to a farm, that’s what the farmers put in a stable or a pigsty to remove more easily the filth. It was amusing to watch how the revolutionary camp turned into a pigsty.
Parts of the “dwelling” looked like a poorly maintained gypsy camp, the kind you could see in rural Romania years ago:
As you can see above, the people there look even more destitute. At least they can get free food, while those who possess “superior consciousness” (Lenin) keep preaching:
I spotted again a gentleman (below, with the glasses), who appears to be a big shot in the movement. I saw him first leading the crowd during the first great march two weeks ago. On Saturday he was wearing exactly the same clothes he wore two weeks ago (I’ll leave it to you to make your own conclusions on whether this is good or bad).
Like in every situation in society where things are cracking and breaking, the Islamists were quick to get their foot in the door. They set up a mini-booth trying to preach their cult to the foggy minds of the revolutionaries:
One of the guys gave me a dirty look while I was taking the picture. He must have seen me somewhere… Just like the last week, they had Friday Muslim prayers, but this time led by a bigger Muslim shot – Shaykh Faraz Rabbani:
I am not sure how that Muslim invasion co-existed with the two Iranian communist parties camping there:
I guess both the communist and the islamists find a common ground in attempting to screw the people who still pay taxes in Canada. The dogs could be a more serious problem (there are plenty of them now):
At the “sign factory”, they had on display a puzzling statement:
“SPECIESM = RACISM AGAINST SENTIENT BEINGS
THE TORONTO STOCK EXCHANGE (TSX) IS TRADING ANIMALS’ LIVES AWAY FOR PROFIT. THEY ARE THE SLAVES OF THIS SOCIETY. THIS IS WRONG.
FREE OUR FELLOW EARTHLINGS.”
Did they mean the Pork Belly Futures? Other than that, I refuse to analyze that schizophrenic text. With each visit to the Occupy Toronto camp, I am getting more and more convinced that those people should be provided with all the mental health care they need, absolutely free of charge.

Economic Wisdom from the Occupy Toronto Asylum
I am rooting for that movement. I really am! The conventional wisdom says that we should trust and support the young, because they are our future. The young are willing to outline our future, but a major element missing from the occupy movement was an economic program. After all, those young people want to change the world – it would be difficult to understand them, unless they have a very particular guidance about economics.
Fortunately, my waiting is over – yesterday I saw in St. James Park the poster I longed to see, which determined the wealth redistribution mechanism.
Because of my lowly capitalist upbringing, I had some problems figuring out the scheme. I asked around the camp if they could get me the author but nobody was un-stoned enough to explain who placed that sign.
I’ll try to do it myself. Here is the program:
In case your browser doesn’t display the picture, here is the complete program:
“The # of world billionaires:
In: 2001 497#
2006 946
2007 1125!
The cumulative wealth of
These billionaires:
In 2007: 4.4 t.$, in 2001: 1.5 t.$
Total sum required to meet
Basic human needs 4 ten years:
80 b. $ * 10 years = 0.8 t. $”
I suppose I’ll need the help of my readers to get that math. As a person who grew up under the power of the Marxist Dialectical Materialism, I remember that the Marxists tried very hard to introduce Dialectical Logic, where every one of the Aristotle’s syllogisms was supposed to have many meanings.
I suspect that the young occupiers (or their stoned old mentors) are trying to introduce a Dialectical Mathematics.
So, they state that in 2007 there were 1,125 billionaires in the world. All the wealth they owned was worth $4.4 trillion. Then, my friends said that the total sum required to meet basic human needs for a year is $80 billion.
OK, I might still be the dumb person who thinks in the terms of the Aristotelian logic, but that statement is totally false. A few days ago the earth’s population reached 7 billion. If you divide $80 billion among the people of the earth, everybody would get $11.42. This amount won’t cover the food expenses of a hamster for a month, let alone the needs of a human for a year.
Obviously, this doesn’t work. Then let’s say we become more aggressive. Why don’t we distribute fairly ALL of the billionaires’ wealth? $4.4 trillion divided among 7 billion people would equal $628. Wow! What a difference – every earthling would get that amount without knowing what to do with it.
The trouble is that most of the money of the rich is invested in businesses – if you want to get their money, you must sell the shares. But if everybody’s wealth is confiscated, there’ll be nobody to buy the shares owned by Bill Gates, the Waltons, Warren Buffett or any other evil capitalist.
The simple truth that eludes the delusional lefties is that you need somebody who is involved in developing a business – capital is not money hidden in your back yard, it is an investment which makes sense as long as you can get return. If you steal that capital and give it to a bunch of fleabaggers, the only result would be that they’ll get more dope with that money, but since the person who had the ability to make that money grow has been eliminated, that would be end of the welfare cheques destined for that junkie.
OK, kids, back to the drawing table! (Not that your retarded minds would create anything useful).

The Sad Camp or “Occupy Toronto” a Week Later
Last Saturday was exactly one week from the start of the mighty movement organized to turn Canada’s economic system upside down. On my way to the St. Lawrence Market I decided to visit the revolutionary camp in the St. James Park, excited to document their progress.
It was late afternoon and I didn’t see many people, except the hardcore professional protesters. After I posted about the initial march, a commenter, who went under the name “worker”, chastised me for not being able to notice the mass outpouring of support for the movement from the proverbial lawyers and doctors. He even called me “charlatan” for hiding that “fact”. It’s true that the unions managed to bring enough clean people to create the illusion of mass movement.
A week later, however, they dropped all pretences. It’s no wonder – union members still have to work to make a living and pay the union dues. Only the usual suspects could live for a week in a dirty tent.
Later I learned that the same day a large number of the happy campers marched on City Hall with the support of the NDP freeloader-in-chief Olivia Chow. I am sure Taliban Jack was benevolently smiling down on them from some corner of the communist heaven.
The camp was a sad picture, dull like every entity created by leftists, who despise fun and laughter (in that respect they are no different than the Muslim fanatics). However, the lack of people provided the chance to read all the important messages they displayed.
The gazebo in the heart of the park was quite messy, proudly showing the revolutionary contempt for order. From the inside, an individual with shaved head (hard to say if it was male, female, or trans) was yelling something incoherent. It could have been either a lecture in transgender political economy or rambling of a mentally disturbed person. I guess I shall never know.
This time they had their demands written on cardboard and neatly displayed on the fence. One of them was “FREE RELEVANT EDUCATION”.
I suppose spelling is not a part of the free relevant education, because in sign at the entrance of the park they cheerfully urged the visitors to come and “OCUPPY”:
A walk through the park revealed their further ideas of “relevant education”. They had a tent branded “Free Skool” (school is probably capitalistic spelling). Its schedule provided a taste of what our education system would look like after the occupiers take over.
Early on Saturday you could attend a lecture on “Environmental Justice 101”. What exactly is that? Some kind of an environmental sharia, where they’ll cut off your hand if you use a plastic bottle?
Next you could attend a workshop on “Silk-screening”, without a doubt a very competitive and important skill (never mind that only Andy Warhol made that skill pay). Then there was more art education: “Re-cycle Paper Arts-intro”. With all the junk lying around, they could’ve used that lesson.
The heavy revolutionary education was reserved for the end of the day. A two-hour session on anarchy -“Anarchy Q+A” - was sure to make you a hardcore loser. Then to provide a good fight, they had a “Gender Oppression Discussion”, but only women and trans were allowed to participate. It was discriminatory to all the guy misfits, who joined the camp to get laid; if allowed to take part, they could display their self-hatred hoping that the militant feminists may take them to their tents.
Early the next day (10 a.m. is early in their world), they offered a course in “Consensus 101”. Why not? Being a revolutionary sheep is much better than having individuality. Then you could get even deeper into anarchy with “Demystifying the Black Bloc” – I suppose it’s already clear who runs the show in the camp.
After an interlude in American Sign Language, they get even more indoctrination: “What Should We Demand in the Short Term? Toward Economic Democracy”. I thought they already knew what they wanted…
That’s basically a curriculum in bullying and mooching, which doesn’t make a person better adjusted to society. Could you notice the OISE long shadow in those “subjects”?
Logic was another subject thrown out of the window of the “Skool”. Two of the demands were “WAY LESS CONSUMPTION” and “ACCESS ABUNDANCE”.
How could you demand both at the same time? If we consume less, there will be much less access to abundance (and somebody must distribute goods to ensure less consumption).
Then they want “A SYSTEM SYMBIOTIC WITH THE EARTH’S CARRYING CAPACITY” and “HEALTHY FOOD FOR ALL”. This looks like it came directly from David Suzuki’s ramblings, but it still doesn’t make sense (does he ever make sense?). According to most environmentalists, the Earth is already overpopulated, so a symbiotic system is hard to achieve without exterminating a good part of the humans. I know that Hitler and Pol Pot worked in that direction, but apparently the environmentalists need to do more. How can you ensure healthy food for all under those conditions?
Then comes the mother of all demands: “TO WORK FOR A PURPOSE NOT A LIVING”. Only a person who has never had to support a family can come up with such a silly slogan. Unfortunately, that’s how things work – people are willing to pay for what you are doing or providing for them. In most cases, your high purpose doesn’t transform into cash. The reality in the communist countries was exactly the same (with exception of KGB and party bureaucrats, who were paid to maintain the lie of the high purpose). If those noble revolutionaries want a high purpose, they can go right away on a salvation mission in Africa.
The slogans scattered within the camp were not much better. They supported the “Robin Hood Tax”:
In the area called “Sign Stop” there were even more demands:
“CAPITALISM = WAGE SLAVERY!” (Under communism wage slavery is much, much worse, without the option to protest).
“LET’S FORM OUR WORKER’S COUNCILS!” (It’s nice you use Lenin’s mouldy slogans, but there are hardly any workers among you).
“SPAIN FEELS THE SAME” (As it gallops toward its bankruptcy).
“CARBON TAX NOW – TAX WHAT U BURN NOT WHAT U EARN” (A semi-literate demand, the tax always comes what you earn).
The campers even had a “WOMEN’S SAFE SPACE”.
What is that supposed to mean? That in the other parts of the camp the women are fair targets? And how does that agree with the “equity” concept? They say under capitalism women were considered weaker creature deserving protection. I thought the purpose of the militant feminism was to show that women are exactly like men, less a penis. Then why do they need a safe space in a camp full of fellow revolutionaries, whose morals are superior to the bourgeois ethics?
Near some of the tents, people displayed their life philosophies. Like this one for example: “MEDIA+CORPORATIONS DON’T KNOW WHO I AM. THEY CAN’T TELL ME HOW TO DRESS, HOW MUCH I SHOULD WEIGH, HOW MY HAIR SHOULD BE OR HOW TO HATE! I’M HUMAN, I’M ME! STOP TELLING ME HOW I SHOULD BE!”
You don’t need to be a psychic to see that most likely this is a girl, who secretly loves McDonald’s (and it shows in her weight), has purple hair and doesn’t get along with anybody around her. However, that can’t be her fault! It’s all corporations’ fault! Corporations sell goods that people are willing to buy, they don’t force you to do anything – if enough people dislike the ad images and stop buying, those companies would go out of business. Only a person who totally lacks individuality and ability to think for herself could keep whining about the images “imposed” by the media (but that describes the majority of those pseudo-rebels).
There were even worse cases, like this woman who wanted to arrest Harper for supporting Israel and denying the “Native Holocaust” at the same time:
I guess the military fatigues dress she was wearing was a preparation for the coming guerrilla struggle against the evil Cons.
Another odd thing was that almost all tents were made from plastic materials, derived from oil. And as we all know, oil extraction is one of the ways the evil corporations rape the planet. Just one of the many inconsistencies…
Of course, one of their leaders was there (sorry, don’t know her name), discussing with a comrade the future tasks of the movement.
In one of their propaganda videos (released to embarrass Ezra Levant), she passionately made the case for bringing to Canada the population of Tuvalu and the Maldives as environmental refugees with the right to vote. The Maldivians could even bring their sharia law with them. She was two late – that idiotic idea came from Al Gore in 2005, who predicted that by 2010 there will be 50 million refugees from the island countries totally submerged under water. As with everything with the man-made global warming scam, the prediction didn’t come true. But obviously such news doesn’t travel fast to the Occupy Toronto camp.
Only the Media tent was brimming with activity. How else could it be? Lenin and Dr. Goebbels always maintained that the propaganda about a movement is just as important as the movement itself.
Sorry for the long post, I am not sure if that was a pleasant walk for my readers.
However, it was important to show the ideas of the movement exactly as they appear in the camp. The occupiers have very ambitious plans for Canada. They want to remake everything in the country. That’s why it is important to understand their philosophy.
I hope you understood by now that they have no philosophy. They are a bunch of confused people, who have collected meaningless and outdated slogans, which contradict each other. It is laughable to claim that those people have a mass following. However, under the right circumstances (especially in the USA), such people could be used as foot soldiers to do the dirty work of a politician with dictatorial ambitions. That’s what Lenin did in 1917, that’s what Hitler achieved in 1933, that’s what Obama may like to do in 2012, if the US economy collapses.
That’s why ignoring what is going on around us is never a good idea…

Commies, Nuts, Jew-Haters and Leprechauns Occupy Toronto
Most of the mainstream media were present at the march, which started at the Toronto Stock Exchange and ended in St. James Park. I am sure the majority of them will present the event as some kind of a popular revolt, while in reality it was dominated by an odd collection of weirdos and misfits.
Together with a few students, you could see the aging hippies and lefties, a fixture at every imaginable protest, the Israeli Apartheid Week crowd, the Black Bloc, the Mohawk Indians, the postal workers union, CUPE, a huge number of assorted communists and socialists and quite a few mentally disturbed people.
It was not clear what they protested against – the main events of the crisis took place in 2008 so they were 3 years late. There was no mortgage crisis and no bank bailout in Canada. Some large companies received quite a lot of cash and their unions were major beneficiaries. It was strange to see the postal workers union and CUPE protest, when you think that they are guaranteed obscenely high wages stolen from the taxpayers. Even more strange was to see with them many people who don’t seem to work, both protesting the abstract “corporate greed”.
Another striking thing was that none of the participants carried a single Canadian flag. Well, there was one, but it was desecrated, painted over with some message. Actually, that wasn’t so unusual. Marx once said that the “proletariat has no homeland”. Those misfits don’t give a damn about Canada and are more
than willing to accommodate every barbaric culture and custom.
Here are some picture highlights, which Toronto Star and CBC would probably avoid.
The notorious Black Bloc was present, with their black anarchist flags. It was disappointing, because they didn’t break anything, but they’ll have enough time over the next month to correct that mistake:
There were many Palestinian flags carried during the march. It was odd, because it’s hard to link the Palestinian cause with the protest against “corporate greed” in Canada. Unless, of course, you want to get into the picture the blood-sucking Jewish bankers invented in the Muslim mythology:
Yes, must have been the latter – when we reached the park, I saw that the bearers of the flags were the folks from the Israeli Apartheid Week (I saw most of them earlier this year). The blonde girl in the middle, who smiles at my camera, is Vivian, the main organizer of that Jew-hating fest at the University of Toronto.
And what lefty event could leave out the native thugs with their Mohawk Warrior flag? It was the same flag that flew over Caledonia when they were beating and terrorising the local people.
As I mentioned before, the unions were there as well. It was such a delight to see Che Guevara next to the flag of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers – a match made in hell.
Near the park we saw the large group of CUPE and specifically the flight attendants chapter. Those greedy stewardesses, who threatened a strike, caused me money and frustration when I had to rearrange my trip to Japan last month. It’s ironic to see them protest “corporate greed”.
And here are the leaders of the march:
The signs they displayed showed beyond any doubt that the protest wasn’t spontaneous reaction of the “working people”. It was an event organized by the far left – anarchists, socialists, and communists. There were plenty of communist flyers, pamphlets and newspapers handed out as well.
Such events also attract their fair share of creeps and weirdos. They are welcomed, because as Marcuse used to say, the marginalized misfits will be the driving force behind the new revolution.
Here is a guy, who has a radical solution – just arrest the rich:
Then I saw another creep (with a scary look in his eyes) who was even more radical – just kill the rich:
The creature below claimed to be in a sexual relationship with the government:
And what better way to parade your stupidity around than having a revolutionary tattoo on your back?
The next weirdo was too much – a woman dressed like a hybrid between a clown and a police car protesting police brutality. Here she talks with a Palestinian activist:
And here she is looking at me:
The protest movement even managed to attract a revolutionary leprechaun:
The “Anti-Poverty Engineer” pleaded that we should abolish interest rates, according to the teachings of Jesus, Mohammed, and Nehemiah (if he moves to Saudi Arabia, his wish will come true):
Then I saw the charming dancing tranny:
In case you think everybody was that scary, I should show you this beautiful dog, which was one of the few normal creatures present:
The beagle below wasn’t that lucky – he had to work for his owner’s psychotic cause. (Doesn’t that qualify as animal abuse?)
That was what I saw. Presenting this circus as a mass movement aimed at reforming our society (as the mainstream media do) is a crime against reason. However, if those misfits are organized by a sinister leader, they can turn into a deadly force, capable of destroying our civilization. If you remember, that’s what exactly Hitler did – in his first speech as a Chancellor he specifically said how he was going to fight greed.
People in this country should wake up to the reality – leaving misfits who contribute nothing influence the policies of our government is a recipe for disaster.

The Occupy Toronto Loons Ready to Strike
Tonight I had the misfortune to attend the initial assembly of the Occupy Toronto movement. That is the Canadian version of the Occupy Wall Street madness. It was not announced anywhere, but I happened to pass by that crowd. I didn’t have my camera, so I had to use my iPhone to take the pictures (please excuse the bad quality).
The meeting was taking place on Bloor Street, on the lawn between OISE and the Medical Building. For those of you who are not familiar with Toronto, OISE is the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, a Marxist cesspool which spits out graduates willing to change the Canadian education system. This is the place from which the anti-Semite Jenny Peto came, this is the source of the claims in the educational guidelines that only white people could be racists. Dalton
McGuinty’s program for homosexual indoctrination of the elementary schools came from here as well.
It’s no wonder that they are involved in the Occupy Toronto scam. Most of the people present were the usual collection of students, failed artists, washed out
lefties and hippy leftovers from the 1960’s. Over 99% of them were white. Maybe somebody will be able to identify them and their organizations.
There was nothing spontaneous about the gathering. They acted in exactly the same disturbing way as their colleagues in New York – including the silly sign
language gestures, the “amplifying” of the voice of each speaker, repeated by many people (there was no synchronization in their voices so it was hard to understand them).
From what I caught, their discussion involved the organization of the protest, supposed to take place near the Toronto Stock Exchange near Bay St. and King St.
Tomorrow they plan to have a marshals’ training at OISE. There were also statements that everything was supposed to be peaceful, but if they were provoked by the cops, they were going to respond accordingly.
Some guy was concerned about how they were going to spend the winter, but they calmed him down that everything would be taken care of.
Loud applause (mostly in sign language) followed the statement of a guy who introduced himself as a spokesperson for the unions. He said that the unions are firmly on their side; they will send representatives and provide signs. When asked which unions are doing that, he replied that the main one is CUPE (the public employees union) and somebody in the crowd added that the TTC union will be involved as well.
Obviously, they don’t even pretend to be a spontaneous and independent movement.
There was at least one mentally ill person attending – with dirty hair and even dirtier pants, he is a fixture in many free progressive events. Despite his condition, he was very active, asking questions and fully versed in their bizarre sign language gestures. I suppose you can spot him in the picture.
There were quite a few representatives of the press, like CP 24 and especially CBC. The CBC reporter looked very familiar and I realized I have seen her before. When last May Mark Vandermaas and Gary McHale from Caledonia came to Toronto to protest the native occupation of a part of High Park, CBC sent that woman to interview them. She was very obnoxious and hostile, trying to intimidate them, but tonight she didn’t show any of those qualities. Obviously,
she loves to attend occupations.
The invasion of the losers finally reached Toronto. I hope we will have some wholesome fun with them over the next few weeks.

Margie Gillis – the Pathetic Dancing Hack
There was an interview on Sun TV a few days ago during which Krista Erickson interviewed the dancer Margie Gillis.
I shall admit that I have never heard of her before. Usually, when I see on TV an art person I am not aware of, I feel embarrassed to have such a lapse in my art education.
However, in this case I don’t feel embarrassed – after I watched the talk I felt proud that my mind wasn’t cluttered with the fact of Margie’s existence.
The whole interview revolved around the issue of art funding. Krista vigorously attacked the concept of art grants, while Margie tried to show how important her art was, how good it was for the “collective” (a wonderful Marxist term) and why we, the people who don’t understand her high purpose, should keep paying her.
In the times preceding YouTube, she might have been able to get away with her insane views, but now, my first action after the interview was to find a clip with a sample of her dancing. Here is a typical sample called Voyages Into the Inner Landscapes:
Do you see what I see? I see nothing (other than butchering one of Leonard Cohen’s masterpieces).
Don’t get me wrong – I love the art of dance. Whether it is the ballet of Maya Plisetskaya and Karen Kain or the dancing of Michael Jackson or the choreography of Bob Fosse, the art deserves admiration because of the talents, efforts and creativity of the artists involved.
And I can tell that Margie has neither the talent nor the creativity of Maya Plisetskaya or Michael Jackson. Her style of “modern” dance is a very transparent attempt to hide her inability to dance behind a façade of “expressed emotions”.
And herein lies the secret of her desire for government art subsidies – all of the artists I mentioned above are obviously so talented that even an ordinary person would notice the fact. They have never had the problem of attracting enough people who would pay some of their hard-earned money to see them.
Margie’s case is completely different – she is so horrible that hardly anybody would be interested in her gymnastics and her up and down leaping. Unless, of course, someone is willing to subside the tickets for her performances and pay the travel expenses to foreign countries, where she would be promoted by the
Canadian embassy as a “great Canadian artist.”
That someone is our government, but since the government produces very little of the money it gives away, it is obvious that they must use our tax money to help Margie out.
If it was only about her, I would’ve swallowed my pride to say that it’s not a big deal. However, the art grants are a multi-billion industry where the money goes to support thousands of talentless hacks who don’t have even the slightest idea what art is.
Margie’s arrogance and sense of superiority shown in the interview are the common attitude of those hacks – they are so used to their entitlement, that they act truly surprised if anyone dares to question the free money they get.
It’s a total racket – the money is distributed according to the opinions of those hacks’ peers, so the legalized theft of public funds that goes to people who
have no abilities whatsoever, is bound to go on forever. If the governments finds the courage to cut off the funding for horrible art (like the case of the play, which glorified terrorism), the artsy-fartsy hacks whine, cry, curse, hiss and condemn everybody involved as heartless censors, who are trying to destroy
the “glorious Canadian art.”
So here’s my question for Mr. Harper – if you so badly want to subsidize Margie’s horror named art, why don’t you find another source of money that would leave the taxpayers alone? Most of the artists here don’t do anything most of the time anyway, they can simply start a co-operative that does something useful. The money generated would be more than enough to support all artsy types in Canada.
It has been done before – Chairman Mao, the idol of the Western art community, sent many artists to work in the fields during the Cultural Revolution. If that was good enough for the Chinese artists, it should be good enough for the Canadian as well.
