Torontonians Walk with Israel – 2013 Edition (with Video)

Today many Torontonian Jews and their supporters took part in the annual Walk with Israel event. Despite the unusually cold weather in the morning (damn global warming!) thousands of people showed up at Exhibition Place to march in support of Israel.

People from different organizations, including the Israeli Consulate, came to participate in the event. A big surprise was the presence of the Premier of Ontario Kathleen Wynne. I wonder how she is going to explain that fact to her loyal Muslim constituents. After all, it is her electorate that runs the notorious mosqueteria in a public school.

The walk was quite long – it continued for about 4 hours, with occasional stops for pretzels, water and dancing. It was well organized, practically without problems, except for small confrontations with a few anti-Semitic idiots (that will be the topic of another post).

All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience, which people definitely liked. You can see that for yourself – here is a short video, which shows the highlights from the walk, with dances, music, talks, and of course Ms. Wynne:

Thank you for covering this joyous event. This year, I was there in spirit only. Hopefully next year, I can be there in body as well.

    Long live Israel!

You are right. The way Daniel Pipes presented the situation, now we have to take care of the tiny minority of moderate Muslim and protect them from being killed. There was no proposal about how to change the aggressive nature of Islam. By the way, you nailed it by asking one of the best question about the “prophet” warlord.
