The Gypsy War against Ezra Levant and SUN News

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

Yesterday a Toronto Gypsy organization held a rally against Ezra Levant and his employer SUN News. They demanded that Ezra be fired and the SUN “must-carry” application be rejected. It was a serious event, because the organizers enrolled a few “heavyweights” – Borys Wrzesnewskyj, former Liberal MP, and Bernie Farber, head of the now defunct Canadian Jewish Congress.

Although the reason for the rally were a few statements about Gypsies (for which he already apologized), the speakers used the occasion to blackmail the TV station even more. We learned that they spread systematically hateful speech about the Muslim, black and Spanish communities. No evidence was presented, but the participants didn’t need it – they just enjoyed the speakers’ vitriol and the role of an offended minority, which wants more control over the media they don’t run.

You can see the highlights in the video, but I would like to add a few notes to make the issues they covered more clear.

Frankly, they lost all credibility as soon as I read the press release:

Though Mr. Levant has formally ‘apologized’ for his on-air comments, only after intense legal and public pressure, the Romani community rejects the apology because Mr. Levant has continued to use the discriminatory term ‘Gypsy’ in reference to our community.

What is wrong with the word “Gypsy”? It has been used for many centuries in the English language and the other European languages have their own words for that ethnicity. Why should they impose on us the word “Roma”?

In German a person from Germany is called “Deutsche”. The Spaniards will call him “aleman”, Russians and Bulgarians – “ghermanetz” or “nemetz”, the Turks – “aleman”, etc. etc. And I have yet to meet a German who is offended that the Americans won’t call him “Deutsche”.

Why should it be any different for the Gypsies? Changing your name doesn’t change your nature.

gypsy-demonstration-against-ezra-levant-1

Besides, the word has been used by CBC, a few years ago they showed a documentary about the Gypsy crime in Western Europe called “Gypsy Child Thieves”.

It showed an unflattering but true picture of the problem. Where is the outrage against CBC? Many of the channels, which the Canadian Gypsies like more than SUN, run shows like “My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding” and “Gypsy Sisters”. Shouldn’t they be condemned as well?

On top of that, the musicians who played at the rally came from the band “Gypsy Rebels”. Can you be any more hypocritical?

That showed the real intentions of the rally – to attack and destroy SUN TV by all means possible because it doesn’t conform to the sacred principles of political correctness.

Gina-Csanyi-Robah

Gina Csanyi-Robah

Gina Csanyi-Robah, Executive Director, Roma Community Centre started with a fiery speech calling for Ezra’s dismissal. She complained that Ezra’s statements made the other Canadians “not like” the Gypsies. Then she added that he and others have attacked in a similar way the Muslim, black and Spanish communities. Of course, she didn’t bother to provide any evidence.

gypsy-demonstration-bernie-farber-Wrzesnewskyj

Borys Wrzesnewskyj and Bernie Farber (far right)

Bernie Farber was apparently chosen to play the good cop role. On the surface his soothing voice promoted tolerance toward Ezra and SUN. They apologized and we have to respect that. But then he said that words are just words. They have to do more – to show that they mean it.

The proposals that Bernie had in mind meant placing SUN TV under Gypsy control. Ezra must be re-educated by meetings with the Roma community to understand how wonderful they are (just like the intelligentsia and workers in Mao’s China). Additionally, SUN must hold regular consultations with the leaders of the Gypsy community, and take into consideration their point of view. The license of SUN (similarly to the previous case of the Arabic Al-Jazeera) should be on hold for six months until they prove they are good and don’t disseminate hatred.

It’s hard to believe that Bernie is serious, but apparently he is. What he says means that the media must be put under the control of every imaginable ethnic or other type of minority group, which could be potentially offended. This is exactly what the Muslims who tried to sue MacLean’s and Mark Steyn wanted – editorial control under the guidance of their bloodthirsty leader Mohammed Elmasry who on the old Micahel Coren show stated that every citizen of Israel is a fair target for assassination.

Borys Wrzesnewskyj started with the cheerful observation that Canada is the best country in the world, because here we celebrate multiculturalism. His parents came here to escape totalitarianism. We have to keep the harmony. As a person, who has shattered that harmony, Ezra is worse than a thief, because what a thief steals can be returned, but what Ezra said can’t be repaired. He must be sued and fired. Before, the hate speech in Canada was practiced by people like Zundel, now we have the same hatred on the airwaves spread by Ezra.

After such ridiculous words, it’s hard to believe that Borys was a Member of the Parliament. But even in that position he managed to propose insane ideas, which cost him his job – in 2006 he said that de-listing Hezbollah may help negotiate peace and lost his post as the Liberal Party’s deputy foreign affairs critic for saying it.

gypsy-demonstration-against-ezra-levant-2

There is nothing wrong with having stupid ideas. The tragedy begins when people like Bernie, Gina and Borys are allowed to be in charge (and they well may be after the Supreme Court decision in the Whatcott case and the rise of Justin Trudeau). Then we may switch into a totalitarian mode, where every criticism of a minority, no matter how justified, will be sufficient to prosecute anybody for their opinions.

cbc-justin-trudeau

CBC, Justin Trudeau – it’s clear who runs the Gypsy show

Is this the Canada we want?

Ezra’s monologue about the Gypsies might have been poorly worded, but it raised issues, which should be discussed, because the Gypsy crime threatens all of us. Of course not all of them are involved in it, but the problem must be addressed, despite the attempts of Gina, Bernie, and Borys to pretend that such a thing doesn’t exist.

Let’s examine briefly that reality. The claim that all Gypsies in Europe are discriminated is an exaggeration, just like Ezra’s words that most of them are involved in crime.

Gypsies who get education or work are not discriminated. And they have many opportunities – scholarships and subsidies for such minorities are provided in all countries of the European Union. The trouble is that a large part of the Gypsies are not interested in education.

Of course, there are many successful Gypsies.

azis

Azis

The freaky guy in the picture, who generously exposes his ass to the audience, is Azis – the most popular and highest paid entertainer in Bulgaria. His singing style is “chalga” – a horrific hybrid between the Bulgarian version of the French chanson and quite repulsive Arab music. Although chalga is popular only in the Balkan Peninsula, Azis makes millions of Euro every year.

The most interesting fact about him is that he is a homosexual Gypsy transvestite. In a country like Bulgaria this means three strikes against him, yet no Gypsy activist could claim that Azis is discriminated against.

chirkov

Prof. Alexander Chirkov

This is Prof. Alexander Chirkov, a prominent Bulgarian heart surgeon of Gypsy background. A few decades ago he did the first heart transplant in the country. Surely, he can’t match the income of Azis, but his ethnicity never stood in the way of developing his talent.

Neither of both has complained of being Gypsy. There are many other Gypsies in Eastern Europe, who have studied and have skills, which let them get good jobs. Nobody is discriminating them. Many of them can come to Canada by applying in the regular way and that’s why we never hear about them.

The problem are the rest who have been coming here as refugees from Europe. As the Canadian records show, well over 90% of them are frauds.

That’s common sense – if there are any genuine Gypsy refugees from Hungary, Bulgaria or Romania (all members of the EU) they can go to over 20 countries in Europe to claim asylum. Most of those countries are controlled by compassionate bleeding hearts and the trip will be much cheaper (a train ticket from Bulgaria to Norway costs peanuts compared to an airplane ticket to Canada). Every citizen of the Union can travel freely. However, even Sweden and Norway, which accept even the worst terrorist garbage, don’t consider Gypsies legitimate refugees.

It is much easier to go to Canada, where most people are ignorant about the European realities, and game the system.

Yes, there are significant differences between the traditional Gypsy culture in Eastern Europe and the West. The Gypsies have lived there for over 600 years and are still not integrated. It seems that something in their nomadic culture is preventing that. It’s true they have been discriminated, but the Jews had been treated the same way and despite that they prospered.

Of course, some Gypsies (like those in the rally) have the strength to break up with that culture, but many more don’t want.

“Block 20” – Gypsy apartment building in Yambol, Bulgaria

blok20

Close-up of the same building

These are not pictures from the Syrian war – they show an apartment building built with the good intentions to provide affordable community housing to Gypsy families. It took them about five years to break the windows, destroy the walls and sell the metal parts for scrap. The garbage is thrown from the windows.

Eventually the apartment building had to be condemned and demolished. I had hard time understanding the reason for that horrible behaviour. It’s not the poverty, because Bulgarians and Turks could be just as poor and still take much better care of their homes. It looks like the nomadic indifference to property plays a role here.

The 11-year old Gypsy mother

In 2009 another Bulgarian incident received world-wide attention. An 11-year old Gypsy girl gave birth – just another type of multicultural diversity, which soon we will celebrate in Canada:

Kordeza Zhelyazkova, from Sliven in Bulgaria, was still wearing her wedding dress and tiara as she was rushed to hospital, where she gave birth to 5lb 8oz Violeta.

Proudly displaying her baby, she told reporters: ‘I’m not going to play with toys any more – I have a new toy now…’

Kordeza said: ‘I didn’t know I was pregnant until my grandmother saw I had put on weight. I just thought I’d eaten too many burgers.’

Her grandmother Dida, 55, said: ‘It’s normal for our girls to have babies young. It’s our tradition. But I didn’t want it for my Kordeza – I felt she was too young.’

The child is her new toy – that explains what kind of a mother she is going to be. The frightening thing is that this is considered normal in the Gypsy culture. As of her rapist… uh… husband (19 years old), as a Gypsy he got away. Any Bulgarian, Turk or Armenian would be charged with rape and pedophilia and spend considerable time in jail, but her husband wasn’t.

Such cases are normal among the uneducated Gypsy population. And so is theft and violence.

And yet the Gypsy crime is ignored and information about it suppressed. In 2011 the Bulgarian nationalist party Ataka (Attack) published a 32-page booklet about that type of crime. The “human rights” organizations immediately tried to charge them with hate crime. The prosecutor concluded there was no case, because the whole booklet consisted of clippings from newspaper crime chronicles.

That is the problem – many Soros-funded organizations prevent real measures and encourage leniency regardless of the severity of the crimes. The “Roma integration” funding is a huge business, which provides comfortable living to countless bureaucrats and activists and just as many Gypsy kings and queens, with nothing to show for it.

Ironically, the time Gypsies came closest to integration was under communism. The Gypsy kids were forced by the police to go to school, despite their parents’ desire to pull them out. The majority of the Gypsies were employed, because of the 100% employment rate (based on the principle 5 do the work of 1). That was possible only because the communists had the absolute power to do whatever they want.

After the collapse and the destruction of the economy if Eastern Europe, the democracy is powerless to make the Gypsies part of a stable social structure.

These are the problems that we should discuss openly in Canada, because those people want to come here. Why do the Canadian Gypsies want to silence that discussion?

In the current Canadian reality, created by the likes of Gina, Bernie and Borys, I can be charged with hate speech for just pointing out those inconvenient facts.

Even in Europe they can’t cover up the reality anymore. About two years ago France deported thousands of Bulgarian and Romanian Gypsies, who built camps on its territory. Now Great Britain desperately tries to keep Bulgaria and Romania out of the Schengen agreement of free movement to avoid the possible flood of freeloaders. The next mass wave of “refugees” to Canada will be from those countries.

The Canadian Gypsies may be well established and law-abiding, but most of the newcomers are not. Those who have the skills can already apply (Canada doesn’t discriminate against anybody), the rest will come here to milk the system. Toronto paved the way by turning the city into a sanctuary city for criminals.

In the end of the event Gina Csanyi-Robah angrily yelled that the “Roma” deserve better. No, Gina, all Canadians deserve better – telling them lies and exploiting their gullibility is not a good way to make friends.

Justin Bieber and the Native Freeloaders

indian-scalping-justin-bieber

“I should’ve kept my mouth shut.”

I don’t like Justin Bieber. Not as a human being (I have no idea what kind of a person he is). I just could never stand his whiney little girl’s voice. That voice made him an undisputed idol of millions of whiney little girls and their equally whiney moms. Having such a base made any criticism of his “art” a dangerous endeavor.

So, when the Canadian Indians attacked him, I thought that would be the end of his squeally reign of terror. Unfortunately, after reading the details, it turned out the anger was caused by different reasons.

In an interview for Rolling Stone, among many other things he stated:

“I’m actually part Indian. I think Inuit or something? I’m enough percent that in Canada I can get free gas.”

Yes, he is not very bright, Indian and Inuit is not the same thing. He could’ve used the word “Eskimo”. However, the free gas bit was what made the natives mad. I suppose it was his lame attempt at a joke.

But, as it always happens when the Indians want to exploit somebody’s faux pas, they blew up his words out of proportion. They made him sound like an evil white settler, who attacked the docile natives.

High native officials had the following to say:

“These kinds of remarks are another example of what Aboriginal Peoples in Canada struggle with every day. It promotes the misconception that we are somehow getting a free ride. This simply is not the case and we are concerned that many people may believe what he said.”

That was from a statement of the National Chief of the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples Betty Ann Lavallee and vice-chief Dwight Dorey.

Of course, many natives (who work) don’t get a free ride, especially those outside of the “reserve system”. However, the Indian Act industry is a totally different picture. Let’s start from the organization, which condemned the girls’ idol. What exactly is “The Congress of Aboriginal People”, which has a national chief? I’ve never heard of it. What is the difference between it and “The Assembly of First Nations”?

It’s not that hard to guess the answer – it’s most likely one of the numerous organizations created to siphon off the billions of dollars provided every year by the Canadian taxpayers. The money disappears like in a black hole without any accountability. Isn’t that a textbook example of a free ride?

Even the Canadian courts help to maintain that corrupt system. The chiefs in Attawipiskat managed to turn into nothing over $90 million provided for development of their reserve. Even David Copperfield can’t perform such an elaborate trick. Yet recently a Federal Court declared it was wrong for the government to send an auditor to that reserve. Apparently, the stealing can continue with the court’s blessing. Isn’t that a free ride?

Everybody knows that the Indians don’t pay taxes on the reserves. That doesn’t give them free gas, but they get a substantial discount. The same applies to the stores they operate there, which often offer goods far below their retail value. Theoretically, only holders of a Status Indian Card can shop there, but it is a poorly hidden secret that they’ll sell to every outsider, who shows up there. Neither the mainstream media, nor the police, nor Revenue Canada have the guts to stop that.

The cigarette smuggling industry on the reserves is notorious. The natives often operate illegal tax-free smoke shacks outside of the reserves (like in Caledonia) and the police have never done anything to shut them down.

And those goodies are just the icing on the cake of the billions in subsidies, grants, transfers, and handouts that the reserves get. Of course, the money often doesn’t reach the people at the bottom, but nobody in the government or the band councils wants to disturb that nirvana of corruption. And those, who dare to criticize the situation, are immediately labeled racists.

Justin Bieber was treated like an ignorant kid, who “doesn’t know the facts”. The Indians spared him the racist label, but they still want an apology.

The vitriolic reaction shows that even an ignorant person can say something that’s true. Bringing out that fight over spending in the open makes Bieber little bit more likable.

Canada, Stop Wasting Money on Phony Refugees

Thanks to the idiotic immigration policies created by Pierre Trudeau, affirmed by Brian Mulroney and Jean Chretien, and followed by Stephen Harper, Canada has become a favourite target of crooks who present themselves as “persecuted” refugees. Our country is a number one in the list of gullible countries, which would take in every shyster with even the most outrageous claims.

The crucial reason for that reputation is not difficult to guess – the generous benefits provided to everybody who puts his or her foot on Canadian soil are more than enough to spur those people into action. Because of the 1985 Charter decision of the Supreme Court, we now must treat every invader at the same level as the lawful Canadian residents.

As a result, those questionable claimants are treated better and get more benefits than the ordinary Canadians, who are forced to foot the bill with their taxes. The refugees receive free dental care, prescription drugs, eyeglasses and other goodies. If we need those things, the rest of us must pay thousands of dollars and the only consideration we get from the state is a tiny tax deduction.

Everybody can take advantage of that generosity – from Tamils who were able to pay up to $50,000 to smugglers to get them into Canada to thousands of Hungarian gypsies, who come here with phony histories of persecution.

Well, finally the government found the courage to take action. It proposed to cut those extravagant expenses, leaving only the most essential health care. It looks like everybody should support those measures, especially in times when the occupy movement kooks constantly whine about the lack of jobs and high tuition fees.

But those people are not known for their rational thinking. That became clear when their political representatives in the NDP and the Liberal Party opposed the limiting of the health care expenses for refugees.

There is nothing surprising in that – during the previous Parliament Olivia Chow introduced a private bill to eliminate the “discrimination” of new immigrants based on health condition that could be a burden on the country.

Bob Rae, the leader of the liberals, is a very rich man. I am sure that if he teams up with Olivia, they can pool enough money into a fund, which will cover all the free dental care for all phony refugees.

Yes, I am dreaming. I know that the socialists are very generous distributing other people’s money while they jealously guard every penny of their own money (which in most cases is stolen from the taxpayers anyway).

If you are not familiar with the proposed changes that would introduce some sanity in the refugee system, here you can get more details.

If you agree with the idea that you can spend your own money in a better way, than giving it away to international fraudsters with the help of Bob and Olivia, you may let the government (and Minister Jason Kenney in particular) know that you agree with the changes. Here is a link to a petition you can sign:

http://www.jasonkenney.ca/petition/

It is hard to believe that somebody would attack a proposal that respects the Canadian taxpayers, but that’s the reality in our country, where the lefties are a dominant force…

Canadian Flag Defaced at York University

Yesterday I went to York University to cover the lecture of Dr. Mordechai Kedar.

On my way down from the third floor of the student building, where the event took place, I noticed the flags hanging all over the stairs.

That must be some kind of a happy multicultural event, because I could find the flags of even the most obscure Polynesian islands. However, when I looked closely, only one of the flags didn’t look quite right. Here you can see what I mean:

york-university-defaced-canadian-flag-1

Did you notice the Canadian flag? On top of the maple leaf they pasted an Indian with a tomahawk. And here is a close-up that may help you see better:

york-university-defaced-canadian-flag-2

Can you recognize the Canadian flag?

Not only has been the Canadian flag defaced, but it has also been put in the company of banners that don’t belong to any country. Below are the “Six Nations” flag, another one that I don’t know, and finally the notorious “Mohawk Warrior” flag, which is the symbol of the native militancy. Many people have been assaulted by aboriginal criminals under it.

If the organizers wanted to make a point about “oppression”, they could’ve pasted a Tibetan on the Chinese flag above, but none of the other banners displayed was treated like the Canadian. Even the Israeli flag was intact (although at a previous event they conveniently “forgot” to display it).

I understand the position of the York University administration and its student union. They despise everything that doesn’t advance the cause of the Arab terrorism and the socialist transformation of Canada (that’s why they invite terrorist admirers like George Galloway).

However, we live in Canada; the Canadian people make major tax contributions, which allow places like York University to function. I am not aware of any Indians with tomahawks who have contributed money to anything.

Doesn’t our national flag, which symbolizes our country, deserve at least a little respect? I know that York University is a multicultural place, where “Canadian patriotism” is a dirty expression and the main priority is to accommodate the hijabs and provide halal meat for everybody.

Still, it is hard to believe that the place could sink to such a new low…

Shafia Monsters Found Guilty of First Degree Murder

Video h/t BCF

This Sunday afternoon the jury rendered their verdict in the Shafia trial. After long deliberation they found all of the defendants guilty. Thus all three of them – Mohammad Shafia (father), Tooba Mohammad Yahya (mother) and Hamed Shafia (their son) were convicted on four counts of first degree murder.

It was a bittersweet victory, because on one hand the murderers were punished, but on the other hand that’s not going to bring back the three girls and their stepmother whom they killed. It is nearly impossible to comprehend the motivation of those subhuman monsters who killed people from their own family.

Although we have had other “honour killings” in Canada, this one was one of the most shocking demonstrations of the crime, which is common in the countries where the fanatical Islam rules. However, instead of getting away with it, as it is the custom in the Muslim countries, the Shafias found out that in Canada we still find such crimes disgusting and punish those who commit them (at least for now).

That sentiment was very clearly stated by Justice Robert Maranger when he sentenced those animals:

“There is nothing more honourless than the deliberate murder of, in the case of Mohammad Shafia, three of his daughters and his wife, in the case of Tooba Yahya, three of her daughters and a step mother to all her children, in the case of Hamed Shafia, three of his sisters and a mother.

“The apparent reason behind these cold-blooded shameful murders was that the four completely innocent victims offended your twisted notion of honour, not of honour that is founded upon the domination and control of women, a sick notion of honour that has absolutely no place in any civilized society.

“For these crimes, for these murders, the sentence is mandatory as set out in the Criminal Code of Canada, imprisonment without eligibility of parole for a period of 25 years and that’s the sentence of the court for each of you.”

Another thing so hard to understand was the total lack of remorse for the crime. The defendants didn’t admit anything and were defiant in the conversations among them recorded before they were arrested. Papa Shafia obviously justified the murders on one of the recordings:

“No, Tooba, they messed up. There was no other way. Tooba, for the love of God, look at what they did. No, Tooba, they were treacherous to both themselves and us. For the love of God, Tooba, damnation on this life of ours, on these years of life that we lead.”

“Even if they come back to life a hundred times, if I have a cleaver in my hand, I will (them) to pieces. Not once but a hundred times. As they acted that cruel towards you and me, for the love of God, what had we done (to them)?: We had excess had we committed that they … undressed themselves in front of boys?

“If we remain alive one night or one year, we have no tension in our hearts, (thinking that) our daughter is in the arms of this or that boy, in the arms of this or that man. God curse their graduation! Curse of God on both of them (Zainab and Sahar), on their kind. God’s curses on them for a generation.

“May the devil shit on their graves! Is that what a daughter should be? What a daughter be such a whore?’’

It looks like fanatical Islam is really a dangerous mental condition.

As a closure, the victims Zainab, 19, Sahar, 17, the 13-year-old Geeti, and Shafia’s first wife Rona Amir Mohammad, 52, will get a commemoration plaque at the place where they died.

Now that the criminals are going to spend at least 25 years each in jail and the victims had finally received justice and peace, we may ponder the question Jerry Springer usually asks in the end of his show: “What did we learn today?”

I wish I could say that the whole country stood firmly against the militant Islamism in support of the victims, but I can’t.

Today CBC managed to find a few scumbags to interview, who tried to raise the issue about how the Shafias would’ve been treated better, if they belonged to another religion or nationality.  Our disgraceful national broadcaster even placed a poll on its website asking its readers if they find the verdict just. To be fair to the readers I should say that at the time of this writing over 93% found the verdict just.

You may think that among politicians, who are supposed to the conscience of the people, the “honour” killings would be unanimously condemned. Yet when last year the Government of Canada called those killings “barbaric” in a study guide for would-be Canadian citizens, the Liberal MP Justin Trudeau objected to the term and demanded “responsible neutrality”.

It is hard to believe that an MP could be that clueless and stupid, but the metrosexual d’Artagnan obviously is determined to sell Canada’s values in interests to accommodate even the most savage customs of the people who might vote for him.

Then the foot soldiers of those treacherous politicians strictly follow what they are told. Last week we had an interruption of the trial due to a bomb threat.

In the video above you can hear how the prosecutor is being interrupted and heckled by people who are angry with the verdict. Although we can’t see them, judging from the fluent English they speak, it’s safe to assume that they belong to the gangs of leftards and union scumbags, who would attack anything that is even slightly beneficial for Canada. These are the people who go out of their way to bring back from Guantanamo that despicable piece of garbage named Omar Khadr. They are the ones, who each year plaster hundreds of posters calling for the release of the Muslim cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal.

And even more important – did the countless social workers and school counselors learn anything from the Shafia girls’ deaths? You know, they are very determined when they try to force a tranny club on a school. It became clear at the trial that the girls desperately needed help and there was nobody who could provide it.

Did you expect anything else? They were aware that they had to be culturally sensitive to the traditions of the Muslim culture, even though those traditions include treating women like garbage. But hey, diversity is worth much more than the lives of a few girls.

Many commentators today claimed that the trial showed how Canada handles successfully the challenges of multiculturalism. I am not that sure about that. With people like Justin the metrosexual and the lefties it is just a matter of time before our basic principles of fairness and justice become the target of “reforms” in the name of accommodating the “rich mosaic” of weird cultures, which are flooding our country with the understanding that they don’t need to adapt to us.

If we are ever able to stop people like those, we would finally have something to brag about…

Tamil Tigers Party at Queen’s Park (with the Help of McGuinty and Occupy Toronto)

tamil-tigers-rally-queen's-park-2

Tamil rally at Queen's Park, Toronto

On my way to the Occupy Toronto camp last Saturday I passed by a large Tamil rally at Queen’s Park. I should explain to the readers who are not Ontarians that Queen’s Park is the place where the Ontario Parliament is located.

Being a person who never misses the opportunity to improve his knowledge about the rich tapestry of our multiculturalism, I stopped to soak up more of the diversity the Tamils were offering. That was a rally demanding Tamil self-determination. The demand was displayed in the banner on the stage, which was supposed to be the main message supported by the Occupy Toronto folks who showed up to express their full support for the cause. Apparently, that was the reason why Jim Karygiannis, a Liberal MPP, was there as well.

However, the very first impression I got was that the whole thing was organized to promote the Tamil Tigers, a very well-known terrorist organization, which is supposedly illegal in Canada. The participants were proudly displaying hundreds of the organization’s flags. To make absolutely sure what their intentions were, activists were handing out thousands of large-size photographs of the Tigers’ notorious leader Velupillai Prabhakaran.

tamil-tigers-rally-queen's-park-3

The flags of the Tamil Tigers, proudly displayed

tamil-tigers-rally-queen's-park-4

Respect for the terrorist leader

Prabhakaran was marketed in the pictures as the “Tamils’ Leader”. OK, the stinky losers from Occupy Toronto are ignorant, and Karygiannis doesn’t care which multicultural bunch he supports, but the rest of Canada must be aware that Prabhakaran was one of the most despicable creatures who ever lived. He was a terrorist responsible for the death of tens of thousands of people.

He belongs in the same circle of hell where Lenin, Stalin, Hitler and Pol Pot reside. He killed many more people than Osama bin Laden. He has had warrants against him issued by Interpol, he had been sentenced by various courts to death or 200 years of prison.

Yet the Tamils in Toronto, to whom Canada provided hospitality, shelter and welfare payments, chose to worship that sorry excuse for a human being.

The funny thing was that none of the Tamils or the other people present questioned the legacy of that terrorist. I asked one of the blocks handing out the pictures who that guy was. He replied with anger (as if I had stolen his dessert) that this was their revolutionary leader. Being the only white person in this part of the crowd, I found it wiser to retreat. (Note to the Tamil activists – you look always nasty and angry and you are quite unlikable. If you want anybody to take your tripe seriously, adopt some PR strategy that fits the West. Just ask the Tibetans, they know how to handle those things).

Another “pleasant” surprise was to see Krisna Saravanamuttu at the rally. He was one of the speakers introduced as the spokesman for the National Council of Canadian Tamils. Well, I have not so pleasant memories of that individual. Previously he was the president of the student union at York University. Last year he was one of the organizers of an event where George Galloway spoke (which I covered).

Galloway is a vicious anti-Semite and a material supporter of Hamas, a Palestinian terrorist organization for which he raised hundreds of thousands of dollars. Because of that he was totally disgraced as a member of the British Parliament and ended up as a participant in Big Brother and correspondent for Press TV, the station run by Iranian Muslim fanatics.

Obviously, this is the type of person Krisna admires. During the event, there was a large group of Jewish students protesting Galloway. At certain point, Krisna infiltrated the group with a gang of Muslim students and tried to start a fight (an I have the pictures to prove it), but fortunately the police escorted them out.

At this rally Krisna supported even worse terrorist group than Hamas – the Tamil Tigers, but that wasn’t a problem – he is used to doing that. He and the angry Tamils with the flags and Prabhakaran’s pictures were a perfect match.

And that brings me to my main point – the pathetic condition of Canada caused by the insane politics of multiculturalism. Here we have thousands of people, who escaped Sri Lanka to get away from the violence incited by their own organization, the Tamil Tigers. And yet, when they came here they continued to support the same terrorists.

When in 2009 Prabhakaran and the top of his gang were finally exterminated by the Sri Lankan army, the Tamils organized noisy protests all over Canada. In Toronto, over 2000 of them blocked a major highway for several hours. None of those criminals was ever arrested.

tamil-tigers-rally-queen's-park-1

Even more flags...

They wanted Canada to get involved in their stupid civil war. Of course, we had politicians who were eager to deliver to get a few more votes. In a press release issued at that time, NDP stated:

“With the end of the Sri Lankan civil war in 2009, New Democrats urged the Conservative government to take the lead with the international community to help rebuild the country. Specially ensuring the protection of all civilians, full access for humanitarian workers and media, and initiate internationally mediated efforts aimed at achieving a durable political solution to the conflict in Sri Lanka.”

What a great solution! To stop the Tamil protests and prevent illegal immigration (you probably remember the rusty boat with phoney Sri Lankan refugees that arrived last year) we must spend billions of dollars to “rebuild” a third-world shithole. And it never occurred to NDP that all the money will be stolen by local Sri Lankan crooks (it’s not a secret that in those third-world countries they laugh at the Canadian gullibility).

That’s the reason why that swindler Jack Layton was so highly regarded by the Tamils and other third-world freeloaders.

Am I the only person in Toronto who finds this horrifying? There were nearly 5,000 people gathered in front of the Provincial Parliament waving flags of a terrorist organization and carrying portraits of its leader and nobody in the press condemned that. What’s next? Nazi party and KKK rallies? O, that would not be politically correct – in Canada only dark-skinned people are allowed to openly support terrorism (the anti-Semites from the Iranian Muslim organization called CASMO were allowed to do the same two months ago).

I’ve never hidden the fact that I am an immigrant. I came to this country for a very particular reasons – I expected to live in an environment where the individual rights are respected, where a murderous organization can’t be promoted openly. Yet, what I see now is that in the name of multiculturalism, a barbaric terrorist organization is openly supported with the help of the provincial government and the Occupy Toronto lunatics.

The latter would support anything, even a monkey convention, to get more exposure for their dying cause, but I expected more from the Ontario government. If the Tamil extremists are encouraged to do that, what would their next step be? Bombings? Resurection of the Tamil Tigers here and in Sri Lanka? Killing everybody who is against their cause?

And this is a message for the Tamils – nobody in Canada gives a damn about your civil war and anything that happened while it was going on. If you are so eager to resolve your issues, don’t get us involved. You can buy the rusty steamer on which your fake refuges arrived last year and go back to Sri Lanka. Once you reach it, you can rebuild it, fight against anyone you want, but just stay there. Nobody cares about your country’s problems. Why stay here, if your only use for Canada is to force it into your bloody civil war?

And this is a question for every Canadian, for whom this country still means something: isn’t it time to scrap completely the refugee program, which fills Canada with hostile people, who would never see it as their homeland?

Salim Mansur in Toronto: The Failure of Multiculturalism

salim-mansur-raheel-raza-toronto

Salim Mansur and Raheel Raza last Sunday in Toronto

Salim Mansur was in Toronto yesterday to give a talk on his new book Delectable Lie: A Liberal Repudiation of Multiculturalism”. The event was organized by Forum for Learning (presented by Raheel Raza) and the International Free Press Society (IFPS).

He is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Western Ontario (in London). His specialty would raise a big red flag in the minds of many people. The political science departments usually are swarming with delusional “scholars” who, instead of doing real research, use their positions to spew whatever leftist dogma they have been indoctrinated in.

Prof. Mansur stated in the very beginning of his remarks that his major premise about multiculturalism is that it is a lie, without any basis in reality or philosophy. His position made the mainstream media wary; they tried to avoid any coverage of his views. He had the hardest time in the “Republic of Toronto”, which is like a different country, where McGuinty and his people could get re-elected, while losing elsewhere in Ontario. The major papers (Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, and National Post) refused to touch the theme in any way. At the same time, he got offers for discussions and meetings from many different parts of the country.

He has been working on that issue for years, but the final push came after a Maritime think tank commissioned from him an essay about multiculturalism. When he tried to put all his findings into the essay, he found out it was impossible to cover the topic in such a short paper. The think tank asked him to present the essay and told him that if there is anything extra, he should put it into a larger work. That’s how the book was born.

From that point of view, Mansur is a rare bird – although he is an Indian Muslim, who came to Canada in 1973, he didn’t go the easy way of spreading propaganda on “racialization”, “oppression”, “minorities issues”, etc.etc. , as the Canadian elites expect somebody like him to behave. He chose to do real research of real problems. That made him a real scholar, but getting out of the Liberal Party box didn’t play well with the establishment.

In her introduction, Mary-Lou Ambrogio, Vice-President of IFPS, specifically mentioned that – Mansur has never been politically correct. He was one of the first scholars in Canada to write about the radical Islam after 9/11 and he is also a columnist for Sun Media. It’s no wonder that he receives hate mail. The controversy followed him when he tried to publish his new book. Although it was well researched and covered very real problems, many Canadian publishers were afraid to get into an open discussion of multiculturalism.

It didn’t help that Salim Mansur refused to change or soften his positions to make the book less controversial (from their point of view). That’s why the IFPS firmly stood behind the book and sponsored its publication.

Then Raheel Raza made an introduction to his views by reading a column he recently wrote about multiculturalism.

The concept of multiculturalism is supposed to make us feel good, so the elites, in the name of stability, don’t want to allow any criticism or even discussion about it. The legislation on multiculturalism was imposed on us first by Trudeau and then by Mulroney without any discussion. If it were put up for a vote, it would’ve been most likely defeated.

The government never bothered to present any factual or conceptual justification for it. All the government-issued documents on the topic are just fluff – you can read in them about “celebrating differences”, “diversity” and many other empty phrases, but you’ll never find any explanation of the context or necessity of
multiculturalism.

Salim Mansur wrote his book to fill that gap. He thought it was important to explain the meaning of “liberal” used in the title. He is a firm supporter of the small-letter liberalism, a concept, which advances the individual freedoms, developed by Adam Smith, Tocqueville, and many other thinkers. That’s opposed
to Liberalism with a big letter, which hijacked the word, but is using it to endorse a political party system, which defends collectivism and a powerful state.

Multiculturalism disposes of the individual rights and freedoms and puts in the centre of its values the groups united by different cultures, claiming that all those cultures are equal. That is a totally false claim. Canada is great not because of multiculturalism and diversity, but because it is a liberal democracy, where the rule of law guarantees the freedoms of the individual.

Cultures are not equal, never have been equal, and never would be equal. It would be absurd to claim that the culture of the Huns was equal to the Roman culture (even in its years of decay). The same applies to the Islamic culture and the Western democracies.

The individuals are those who should be equal in the sense of being treated equally. The classical liberalism is all about the individual rights.

It’s absurd to equate cultures, but that’s what multiculturalism does. In doing so, that doctrine aims to destroy free speech, because it is hostile to criticizing any cultural differences.

The issue of immigration is the most acute public policy issue affected by multiculturalism. That became a pressing issue after in the USA they adopted the Open Immigration Act (in 1965), which was mirrored in Canada a few years later.

Decades before that, immigration was much more difficult. Due to the more primitive means of transportation, it required a significant commitment and expenses. Once people arrived in their new countries, they felt grateful and did their best to fit in and contribute. They embraced the culture of the USA and Canada and adapted quickly, considering themselves Americans or Canadians, without hyphens.

Now conditions are very different, changed by the revolution in transportation. Moving around the globe is much easier. The situation creates new problems – the old immigrant mentality is being replaced by the migrant worker’s point a view. The migrant workers always consider themselves temporary guests, who don’t plan to change their ways. The new immigrants are under no pressure to become Americans or Canadians, on the contrary, they are even encouraged to “celebrate their culture” and isolate themselves in the new country, no integration is required. Eventually, that leads to fragmentation of our society, where those ethnic islands are protected by government legislations and human rights commissions.

This is a very touchy issue, but we will have to face it. While the elites ignore it, the ordinary people are very well aware of it. Then Salim Mansur said that when he came to Canada in the 1970’s, he was attracted by the liberal democracy and the protection of individual rights. A few decades later, he sees the country divided, with a government and media that don’t allow discussion of the differences. And that’s not a good sign – when people’s thoughts and grievances are bottled up and suppressed, they tend to explode in unpredictable ways. We should avoid that.

During the Q&A session, Prof. Mansur had the chance to express his strong opinion about the Human Rights Commissions in Canada. It’s disgraceful that they want to control free speech through Section 13 (1). Canada is one of the most developed and important countries in the world. There is absolutely no reason to have in our democracy a gag law enforced by the unelected members of those commissions.

He recalled a talk he had with the rights lawyer Allan Borovoy years ago. Borovoy told him that when the human rights commissions were established in the 1960’s, the idea was to defend people from real discrimination by employers and when looking for housing. The commissions were supposed to be alternatives to courts, which provide conflict resolution at much lower price. Now they have deteriorated to the point where they try to censor media and curtail personal freedoms.

You can’t have a commission protecting your feelings – if you don’t want to be offended, don’t listen to that radio station, don’t read the book or the magazine, etc. Nobody can be legislated into liking somebody else. The Human Rights Commissions are kangaroo courts. He ironically remarked that despite his confrontational position, HRC is afraid to go after him because he is a brown guy, while the white people like Mark Steyn and Ezra Levant are considered a fair target. With so much evidence about the destructive role of the commissions, we must hope that the government will finally take the long-promised action against them.

Overall, that was a great presentation. I suppose that for as long as people like Professor Salim Mansur, who are not afraid to voice their opinion, are not silenced, our country has the chance to remain a real democracy.

Swedish Teen Gang Loots Ottawa Store

Didn’t see any Swedes? Oops, it’s my fault, I didn’t want to put any video without the obligatory white man guilt admission. After all, you can get away with any slanderous statement against white people.

Yes, you can see a large crowd of black kids (most of them probably Somalis), but according to some of the comments to the Toronto Sun article, where the video appeared, if you look carefully, you can see towards the end three white guys. Of course, that’s great – the white boys must have inspired the little black scumbags to attack the store.

To be frank, if it wasn’t for SUN TV, we would have never seen the video and would’ve been left with the impression (like they say in France) that the attack was conducted by unidentified “youths”. Amish, Mormons, Mennonites? Who knows…

The Ottawa police have the same vague opinion about the perpetrators. Such mob attacks are usual in Ottawa. On June 17 this year a gang similar to those
lovely kids, swarmed and beat up an Ottawa man leaving him unconscious for several hours. Eventually, he suffered from broken skull and hearing loss. The
article in Ottawa Sun where the case was reported, mentioned numerous similar cases.

Yet the opinion of the police is that the perpetrators are some kind of unidentified space aliens, for this is the warning they issued:

Personal Robberies and Swarmings

The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit recommends the following safety tips concerning personal robberies and swarmings:

Be alert to your surroundings and avoid isolated areas, in particular after dark and when withdrawing money from ATMs;

Travel with multiple friends whenever possible;

Be wary of inadvertently displaying possessions such as cell phones and personal music devices; and,

Let someone know where you are going and when you can be expected home.

Should you become a victim of a swarming or personal robbery, the following steps are recommended:

Do not resist your attackers, they may be armed and this could lead to serious injury or death;

Try and memorize their faces, clothing and licence plates if they leave in vehicles;

Call 911 as soon as possible, or if you are around an OC Transpo facility look for an emergency call box; and,

If you are a student and are robbed at school or by someone from your school, report the event to the office and to the Ottawa Police Service.

Hey, that’s perfectly fine – if you identify those little black punks, you would interfere with our generous multicultural program that is guaranteed to let any
minority do whatever they want as long as it is directed against “The Man.”

That scheme has been in force in the USA for many years with predictable results:

Recently, editors for the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, and the Chicago Tribune have all publicly admitted to censoring black crime. They all said they justified it to protect blacks from being stigmatized. In his recent undercover videos, LA Lawyer Ben Shapiro recorded the creator of the TV show COPS stating the same thing.

All have decided that political correctness is more important than public safety.

No one has ever claimed that censoring information about crime makes the public safer. So why are major media bosses justifying all of this censorship? It is time to put public safety above political correctness and confront crime as it happens.

If media, police, and politicians do not openly and honestly confront the growing trend of brutal black on white crime things will only get much worse. It will also severely poison race relations in this country. Censorship is never justified when it puts the public in danger.

If you look again at the video, you’ll see that most of those little pieces of garbage laugh when they are grabbing merchandise and running out of the store. The whole exercise is fun for them. Why not? They feel like little Robin Hoods who stuck it up to the evil exploiter who owns the store.

And that’s the point of this post.

The times when Canada carefully selected the immigrants coming to our country on the basis of the potential contributions they could bring here to improve their own lives and the lives of everybody else are long gone.

Now Canada, under the pressure of the corrupt UN, accepts all kinds of backward people from third world countries. That wouldn’t have been a problem if we had an integration system that made sure the immigrants adapted to our country.

That’s not the case – the social services and schools are dominated by lefty dimwits, who go out of their way to make sure that the newcomers remember that they can demand whatever they want. After all, according to the lefties, all immigrant crimes could be excused because of the “colonialism”
that ended over 60 years ago.

So we have scores of refugees from a failed continent (there isn’t a single successful African country), where lawlessness is the normal state of the society. Killing, robbing, and looting are the only entertainment available. And thanks to our socialists, those people are allowed to keep their vile ways, instead of adapting to our civilization.

And everybody, who tells them that they should respect that little thing called “law”, is branded a “racist” and chased by the Human Rights Commission hounds.

Yes, it’s much easier to collect welfare and steal instead of working. It’s nice to punish the horrible white colonizers. In this particular case, the small problem is that the store owner’s name is Mohammed, a Muslim and probably a minority himself, and he doesn’t fit into the colonialism paradigm.

But as Lenin would say, we must look at things from a dialectical point of view – although Mohammed is not a colonizer, he still operates from within the dreaded capitalist system, and thus he must be punished. Instead of “exploiting” people he could’ve collected welfare cheques and provided manpower to the poverty activists’ demonstrations.

My crystal ball tells me that thanks to our government, police and progressives we will be enjoying hundreds more of those third-world-people committed lootings and swarming for many years to come.

Congratulations, Canada! Enjoy your diversity!

Baby Steps toward Peace in Caledonia

Caledonia-Reconciliation-Rally-June-19-2011-15

The Caledonia reconciliation rally on Sunday

Yesterday two organizations, which work for achieving justice and peace in Caledonia (Caledonia Victims Project and CANACE), organized an important event. There were two parts to the event. The first one was Father’s Day BBQ with a lot of food and music. Two hours later came the serious part – a rally for peace and reconciliation, with a plan to place a small monument at the place, where the dispute started long time ago.

Signs at the entrance of the farm

If you haven’t been to Caledonia, it is hard to understand what was going on in the town. It took the mainstream media quite a while to wake up to the events, while the lefty slanderers are still trying to distort everything related to the conflict.
I thought how to explain everything in a very concise way and couldn’t find anything that symbolizes the events better than the Caledonia smoke shack. It is located near the farm where the BBQ took place, on the left side of the road to Port Dover.
It is a real shack operated by natives, where you can buy tax-free cigarettes at VERY low prices. All the major brands are available, they are all factory-made and there’s no cigarette factory to be seen around the shack. On the other hand, it is hard to believe that the owners would buy smokes at regular prices and sell them to everybody out of the goodness of their hearts. Some discounts of that kind would be available only on reserves to holders of a Status Indian cards.
But that’s not the reserve – the shack has been built without permission on land owned by an electric power company. The “enterprise” is illegal from every conceivable point of view, yet it has been allowed to operate undisturbed for many years.
Now, imagine that an artist puts a table on a Toronto street to sell jewellery she made – how long would it take before she is ticketed, fined, and chased away? That’s the double standard, which caused the tragic events in Caledonia. The smoke shack is just a symbol, the reality was much worse.
The BBQ was the fun part, with Gary McHale operating the device efficiently and making sure everybody had enough hotdogs and corndogs. Stuart Laughton played some great music with his guitar.

People from Caledonia and other nearby places attended. There was even a group of Jewish supporters of the cause from Hamilton.
Even the media were represented – a lady who manages a local network of radio stations, who drove a long distance to attend. There was a CBC radio reporter, who conducted several interviews and she actually listened to what the guests had to say.
Caledonia-Reconciliation-Rally-June-19-2011-3

The CBC reporter at work

This was in a stark contrast to the CBC reporter at the High Park event, who spent most of her time arguing with the interviewees.
Despite the fun, that wasn’t a happy-go-lucky event. Many of the guests had gone through events that they’d rather forget.
Everybody had a story to tell and I learned many facts, many of them strange and shocking. Lawlessness dominated Caledonia for years with the silent approval of OPP when a gang of native militants occupied a part of the town.
They showed me the power station into which the extremists drove a truck, set it on fire and caused damage that deprived the area from electricity for weeks. Then there was the place on the highway where the same people dug holes in order to stop the traffic.
They also erected barriers and checkpoints and acted as a police force, frisking everybody and even introducing curfews. I heard about the two police officers, who got lost and were detained and tied by the militants and their vehicle destroyed. They were released after negotiations and none of the native perpetrators was ever prosecuted. The media covered up the case completely.
I met Jeff Parkinson, a cameraman, who at a previous rally had been attacked, beaten and left with brain damage. His camera is always on at the events to make sure that everything is recorded to prevent blackmail and false accusations (and there had been plenty of those in the past).
I also met Doug, an outspoken and energetic fellow who knew everything about the conflict (he reminded me of Dale from King of the Hill). He expressed his position vividly through the cartoon art on his truck, which shows what Dalton McGuinty, Julian Fantino and OPP did to Caledonia (better see the picture, since I can’t mention that activity here).
Caledonia-Reconciliation-Rally-June-19-2011-23

Doug has a clear message to McGuinty, Fantino and OPP

He told me how everybody lived in fear for years. The free reign that the militants were given by the Ontario Government, affected not only the local people but also the natives. There was a case where a native university student in Toronto condemned officially the lawlessness and her parents’ house on the Six Nations reserve was torched by somebody.
Then there was the lady who shall remain unnamed for the sake of her privacy. She still needs medications to cope with the consequences of the horror that her family had to endure. They lived near the disputed area and were harassed repeatedly – the occupiers often spent all night playing loud music near the
house (they didn’t need to go to work the next morning). The family was searched regularly by the thugs. They were even told to remove the Canadian flag or else something bad may happen to their house (they removed the flag to stay out of trouble).
In the beginning, she used to call the police for help, but they never showed up, afraid of confronting the thugs. Once she called to complain that they wanted to frisk (or rather grope) her 21-year old daughter, who lived in the house. The best that the police officer on the other end was able to come up with, was to ask her why her daughter still lives in her parents’ house.
Ironically, her son works for the OPP, but she didn’t tell me how he felt about that. Her daughter was planning to join the OPP, but after all that she went through, she couldn’t do it.
The whole situation looked so surreal to me – it was impossible to comprehend how something like that can go on for years in the 21st century in one of the leading democracies in the world.
The things are changing, but slowly, and the fear is still there. After many years, the mainstream media finally realized that there was a problem. Then came the activism of Gary McHale and Mark Vandermaas. Then Christie Blatchford’s book Helpless came out – it put that injustice in the national spotlight.
The local movement for justice is entirely based on the principles of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King. All they want is to get the attention of the government and rectify the consequences of many years of lawlessness. Yet they are those who get beaten and assaulted by the other side. I already mentioned Joseph. Many others have spent time in hospitals or under arrest at police stations. A few months ago Gary McHale was assaulted by a trespassing union activist on private property, yet McHale was the one to be arrested and charged. The case was so ridiculous that even the Crown realized they’ve gone too far and dropped the charges.
At 2 p.m. we were supposed to go to the disputed area to erect a small monument calling for reconciliation. Almost every such event in the past has ended with assaults and arrests of the peaceful protestors.

They anticipated the same to happen today. Just before leaving, Gary McHale gave short instructions – don’t respond to verbal insults or physical assault, just notify the police who’ll be present there.

Gary McHale explains how the protestors can avoid being beaten...

We drove to the place. There was already a not very friendly crowd assembled there. The majority were natives. The lefty loons from the city, who usually made the bulk of the protesters, were underrepresented today. The police cars (mostly unmarked) were everywhere, they even had some concealed at Canadian Tire’s parking. The police officers vastly outnumbered the participants on both sides.

The opposite crowd got more hostile, but that showed only in smirks, sneers and whispers. At the same time, two guys who were deep inside the occupied territory started yelling insults (you can see one of them in the picture below). Since they were at a way too safe distance, it was hard to comprehend all of the insults, so their efforts didn’t bring much of an effect.

Later we learned that it took the police many hours of convincing the occupiers to behave in order to create that resemblance of peace.
The whole experience was very excruciating and unpleasant. The hostility left a real bad taste. However, when we went back to the farm, Mark and Gary were ecstatic. They considered the event a miracle and a historical achievement – for the first time during one of their demonstrations nobody was beaten,
assaulted or arrested.
It’s hard to share their excitement, but I could imagine how bad it had been before, if today’s event looked better. Obviously, here you can advance only with baby steps and must be really persistent to achieve any progress.
I want to end with something that Doug told me during our long talk. He said that there were many different people on the reserve – some look native, others are whiter than him. He knows many of them, they attended the same schools and chased the same girls. Whenever one of them tries to bring up the colonial past as an explanation for all problems, he answers that it’s not worth it to get all wound up over issues that have happened long before both of them were born. All that matters is what we can do here and now to resolve our conflicts.
And I agree with him – we need to resolve our conflicts by treating everybody equally. As citizens of Canada we have exactly the same rights and responsibilities. Isn’t it time to take them seriously for the benefit of ourselves and our country?
Maybe that would be the way to make the illegal smoke shack disappear…

Toronto Police Video Promotes the High Park Burial Ground Hoax

… Snake Mound in Turtle Island (If you are confused, read on)…

Last week I wrote a post about the protest at High Park against the Aboriginal group, which built a camp with the support of the City of Toronto. I didn’t expect that short piece with pictures to cause such a heated debate. Within the comments section, fierce arguments and fights took place.

I received a few threats and was even informed by one of the posters that the police were watching my little blog. Nothing wrong with that – that’s what the blogs are for, people should exchange opinions openly. It’s the best way for the public to decide what is right.

The gist of the post was that I and many other people don’t like that a part of High Park was fenced and restricted to be used by one specific ethnicity and no other people were allowed in the area. It somehow slipped the City officials’ minds that the park was a public property.  Shouldn’t be that considered  apartheid”? (No, the lefties use that word only when they want to do some Jew-bashing.)

The whole commotion started with the statement of an Aboriginal group that the area was an ancient Indian burial ground desecrated by the bike races taking place there.

That version of the events was refuted quickly – an article in Toronto Star, quoting archaeological research and another Aboriginal group saying the whole thing was a hoax. The group was very critical about the actions of the occupiers. That’s a serious statement – Toronto Star is a left-wing paper, where even Haroon Siddiqui and Heather Mallick are considered serious columnists. If there was the slightest option to make the burial ground look real, they would have done that, instead of questioning the claims.

I was accused by other posters that I was lying about the occupation and the flag. At the time I had only my witness account and a few pictures, but that was not enough for those people.

Now I have a God-sent video, officially released by the Toronto Police, which shows what happened.

You can watch it here.

Fascinating, isn’t it? And it can’t get more official than that.

I had no idea we had an Aboriginal Peacekeeping Unit. What is the difference compared to the ordinary police? Is the unit supposed to deal with Aboriginals gone wild or with other races gone wild on Aboriginals? Are there any other peacekeeping units? White Peacekeeping? Chinese Peacekeeping? We could have definitely made a good use of a Tamil Peacekeeping Unit. (Do you remember the highway protest?)

The video proves beyond any doubt that the police did proudly support the burial ground hoax. It started with the notorious flag of confrontation (now you can’t deny it wasn’t there).

As a side note on the flag issue, let me say that I was referred to a very interesting work by Kahente Horn-Miller, titled The Emergence of the Mohawk Warrior Flag, which was presented as an MA thesis at Concordia University in August 2003. If we ignore her shaky theoretical ideas, which are supported in part through the writings of Ward Churchill (a disgraced professor, plagiarist and fake Cherokee), the anthropological facts she includes are valuable, because Ms. Horn-Miller comes from the community, where the flag was created in 1980’s.

On pages 94-95, she states the following about the flag’s symbolism:

“The Warrior head depicts a traditional Mohawk hairstyle. Warriors often shaved or plucked their hair leaving only a scalp lock. The hair at the back of the lock was left long. This scalp lock was a challenge to the enemy to get the scalp if he could. The hair in the back was left long so that it could be held while removing the scalp.”

That’s quite gross, but it clearly shows that the image symbolizes war and confrontation. There is nothing peaceful about the flag. She confirms that impression a few pages later, on page 112:

“The Flag first came to international prominence in the summer of 1990, during the Oka standoff at Kanehsatake. There, it flew alongside other Indigenous flags and the symbol of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Hiawatha Belt depicted in flag. Since that time, the Flag has shown up all over the world and continues to represent for many unity and resistance. These concepts from the basis for various events such as Ganiekeh, the Oka Crisis, Ipperwash, Gustafsen Lake, and the Lobster Dispute at Esgenoopetitj (Burnt Church). Upon cursory examination, they appear as simply Indigenous people unified in resistance against the Canadian state. As such, they are different times and places but similar events. They are all Indigenous response to loss of land and resources by a show of strength and a call for assistance from supporters.”

So beyond any doubt, the flag represents “resistance against the Canadian state”. Using it at High Park means that the events that took place there can be ranked at the same level as Oka and Ipperwash, so the intentions of the Aboriginals were very clear. The issue was a confrontation with the Canadian state. It still boggles my mind how you can deny the legitimacy of the Canadian state and at the same time collect billions of dollars in welfare payments from it.

There is nothing new here, occupations like this one are “normal”, the new twist is that the police are practically promoting it.

The guy with the funny hat, who appeared in the beginning of the video, stated that this was a sacred ground (he called the place Snake Mound). There is no
evidence for that whatsoever, but if the “Seneca Wolf Clan” from Hamilton says so, the police go with that. Don’t the Toronto Police do their due diligence
when associating their name with such claims?

And what was the deal with the man wearing the Calgary baseball cap and the “Deer Police” shirt? Is that a police unit, which handles deer or a unit in which deer serve as police? Little bit of extra information wouldn’t hurt.

To make the events look more official, they opened with a sacred ceremony, which involved starting a fire. Correct me, if I’m wrong, but isn’t starting a fire
at a random place in a park against the law? If I start a fire in the same way, I’ll be chased with a gun and fined through my nose. Why did the police and the
parks authorities bend the law to accommodate a specific ethnicity?

And what about the unions? All the work in those parks is done by highly paid union workers. If Rob Ford brought in a few guys willing to do the rejuvenation job for free, the unions would be up in arms about the issue. They’ll be picketing City Hall to condemn the heartless anti-worker agenda of the Mayor. Yet in this case, we didn’t hear a peep from the unions. The Aboriginals said that they were going to restore the area; doesn’t that deprive the workers from work? No need to ask – the unions are more than willing to sacrifice the workers’ interests just to show that they can “stick it up to the Man.”

The sad truth is that both the police and the parks department are afraid of the Indians – they can either create a big fuss by bringing more people or file discrimination complaints. That’s why they don’t oppose them, thinking that if they appease them, the issue would somehow go away. It won’t. Needless to say, this a double standard that benefits one ethnicity – if a group of white or Chinese people build such a camp based on weird claims, they’ll be arrested before finishing their explanations.

The police shouldn’t do such things, they are not supposed to take sides.

For example, an American writer wrote in a comment to my previous post that she was helped by and even spent time with the Aboriginals in their High Park camp and saw the bones and arrow heads they dug out (the whole scene sounded like an East German western with Gojko Mitic). Obviously, those events exist only in her disturbed mind. Further she added that unlike Indians, white people would’ve helped her only if she was a young girl, whom they can use sexually. This is a disgusting racist remark, but she can say it at my blog (as long as she doesn’t address it to a specific person) in the name of free speech, then I can confront her with my own opinion.

But she is an individual, whose words don’t affect many people.

On the other hand, the police as a government organization don’t have the right to free speech and opinion. Their purpose is to uphold the law and apply it
equally to everybody.

It is appalling to bring into the park a group of people who don’t live in Toronto (they came from Hamilton) and don’t pay taxes and give them jurisdiction over a piece of it on the basis of false claims. If they have any demands, they must prove them in the court of law, with real evidence, not myths and fantasies.

What if they show up at Sky Dome and declare it an Indian cemetery? Are the police going to let them in and make another video? In Caledonia such an “innocent” small occupation turned into years of abuse of the local taxpaying population, silently and sometimes vocally supported by OPP and the Ontario Government.

The job of the police is to keep order, not to perform community bonding PR stunts. It was nice they didn’t do that last years during the G20 protests – instead of appeasing and accommodating the thugs and criminals, they arrested them (although they should’ve acted faster).

They at least should have checked the facts – such a measure would’ve shown immediately that they were dealing with a hoax.

So this is a question for the officers involved in making the video – Constables Tony Vella, Scott Mills, Kim Turner and everybody else who authorized it– for
how long would the police promote marginal groups out of fear that they can make more noise and at the same time ignore the ordinary taxpayers who just
have to shut up and pay? Don’t you owe the public an apology or at least an explanation?

The park should be accessible to everybody, without any conditions.

The Ghosts of Caledonia’s Past Haunt Toronto’s High Park

In mid-May a bunch of Indian thugs occupied a part of High Park in Toronto under the pretence that it was their ancient burial ground. Their excuse was that the bikers, who were conducting their (illegal) races in the area desecrated the “cemetery”. The mainstream press reported the incident and the City Hall provided the occupiers with a portable toilet and a tool shed for the shovels they were supposed to use to restore the grounds.

The newspapers quickly found out that the cemetery excuse was a hoax. However, nothing more would have happened, if the activities of that group – Red Power United – didn’t attract the attention of the alternative press. This is a criminal and racist group of Native extremists, who try to accomplish their goals through intimidation and terror.

Those events eventually alerted two organizations, which have been fighting the Native bullying for years – CANACE (Canadian Advocates for Charter Equality) and Caledonia Victims Project. They have stood for the victimized and terrorized citizen of Caledonia (Ontario) who suffered from the intimidation of Indian criminals supported by the Ontario Government and the Ontario Provincial Police.

One of the most amazing facts about their respective leaders – Gary McHale and Mark Vandermaas – was that they were arrested not so long ago for raising the Canadian flag in Caledonia. This is such a unique case, that they should report it to the Guinness Book of World Records – I have never heard of a situation, where the regular police of a democratic country would arrest two law-abiding citizens for raising the official flag of that country. Even the barbarians in Saudi Arabia wouldn’t do something like that.

The organizations scheduled a protest against the occupation for Saturday, May 28. It was supposed to start at the Grenadier Restaurant in High Park from where the participants were to walk to the occupied area.

toronto-high-park-occupation-protest-1

The event is going to begin soon.

There was something ominous in that event – the arrival of those people in Toronto reminded me of the appearance of the ghost of the Christmas future in “Christmas Carol” with the premonition of something bad happening, if we don’t listen to them. The only difference being that the bad things would happen not to the evil Scrooge, but to the hapless Bob Cratchit (Toronto is much closer to his character).

Of course, the mainstream media didn’t miss the event. A reporter from CBC (who looked native) showed up shortly after 2 p.m. and interviewed first Mark Vandermaas and then Gary McHale. The interesting thing about her was that she tried very hard to spin the protest into something insignificant – she said that the case was exaggerated, there was only an overnight stay by the Natives and then they were replaced by volunteers to repair the grounds.

toronto-high-park-occupation-protest-2

A CBC reporter interviews Mark Vandermaas

I wonder if she received her education at the Pravda University of Journalism, but the truth is different – several days after the occupation started, I went there and saw the tents and the “Mohawk Warriors” flag with the Natives sleeping. I wrote about that here.

Mark was obviously used to such shallow provocations – he rebutted her points one by one. He pointed out that Red Power United has advocated for years criminal occupation, service disruptions and violence to achieve their goals, even though many Natives don’t support them. He asked what would happen if someone created a group named White Power United – they would be jailed right away. Yet the native criminals have been tolerated by the authorities for years. Why should they be above the law? He also mentioned that on May 23, 2011, Harrison Friesen (the thugs’ leader) posted a video that if the City ignores his demands, he will come back and build a camp in High Park.

toronto-high-park-occupation-protest-3

Gary McHale joins the conversation

According to Mark, the issue is the trend created – in Caledonia the occupation, which brought violence, started the same way, with a very few people starting it and the violent radicals joining later. Gary, who joined the conversation, added that once a precedent is established allowing them to occupy land without reason, they may start occupying residential areas. The reporter didn’t have much to say in response – you can’t manipulate a person who knows the facts.

Aside from the reporters, there were two representatives of the City, one of whom worked for the parks department.

Shortly after the interview, we all walked to the occupied area, followed by a large number of police officers on bikes.

toronto-high-park-occupation-protest-4

On the way to the "occupied land"

toronto-high-park-occupation-protest-5

Still walking...

When we reached the place, I saw that it was still surrounded by a fence, although the tents and the flags were gone. The City people stated that it was needed until the rejuvenation is completed, although initially it was announced that the fence will keep everybody but the Indians from the place (let’s hope that this is true).

toronto-high-park-occupation-protest-6

The fence is still there...

I saw inside two guys with shovels working. However, here is what bothered me – when the “warriors” occupied the place, they were telling everybody that they were restoring it, but they didn’t do any work whatsoever (that’s why I called them “lazy Indians”). A person, who doesn’t like to work is lazy, do you have any objections to that definition?

Today we saw that the two guys finished just about 2 square meters of the ground, the rest was flat and dead as it was before. That’s probably one hour’s work – and I have the bad feeling that the parks department started the work right before the demonstration to show that they are doing something.

toronto-high-park-occupation-protest-8

The fruits of the "hard" work - 2 square meters are done...

toronto-high-park-occupation-protest-9

... the rest is as dead and flat as before.

But don’t worry – I’ll be sure to go back to check if any work is done or if everything is a sham to keep that part of the park segregated.

After listening to detailed explanation from the City guys about they are going to do rejuvenate the area, we all left.

The guy from the City tells us what is to be done.

News 1010 interviews Gary McHale

Upon leaving, both Mark and Gary talked to the police officers – both were pleasantly surprised by the civilized and polite behaviour of the Toronto Police. It was in a stark contrast with what the Ontario Provincial Police forced them to endure.

toronto-high-park-occupation-protest-12

Leaving the place...

toronto-high-park-occupation-protest-13

A friendly chat with the police...

On our way back, I talked to Mark about the situation in Caledonia. There was not much to cheer about. The thugs were still there – now they own the whole lot with the housing development that the McGuinty government bought from the local residents. The Indians demolished all houses and left one where they live. All the utilities of that house are paid by the government.

A few months ago the local residents placed a small monument to commemorate the events that happened. Within minutes, the Indians destroyed the monument and burned the Canadian flag, while OPP were watching.

I can’t help but wonder: how much longer would the Canadians tolerate that double legal standard? A large number of the natives are “professional sufferers” who extort money from us in every possible way with the help of lefty loons.

The federal Ministry of the Indian and Northern Affairs is a huge welfare office, which gives away billions and billions of dollars to kill the initiative in the Natives and keep them in poverty. On the Ministry’s website it is stated that “In Aboriginal communities, Elders are keepers of traditional teachings and language. They are greatly respected for their life experience and wisdom, and members of the community often seek their counsel.” Yet those “elders” take huge amount of the subsidies for themselves. Last year huge misappropriations were uncovered - for example, an Indian chief of a community of about 300 people was getting over $900,000 tax free.

Is there any solution to this disastrous situation? What about treating all Canadians equally under the law?

We can simply abolish that money – wasting Ministry and let all Natives work like everybody else. Or if they want to keep their lands, the courts must decide all land claims once and for all. Once they have the territories, in which they even now consider themselves “sovereign nations”, they should start acting as such – developing their own businesses and agriculture without any welfare payments from us.

Maybe one day somebody in the government would get enough courage to tackle that problem, but I don’t bet on it…

How Muslims Defeated Two Gay Politicians in Toronto

Thank God for free speech in Canada. It still survives, although feeble and bruised from the attacks of shady organizations and unsavoury characters.

Last year, that freedom allowed us to hear the insane rants of George Galloway, last week we heard the anti-Islamic politician Geert Wilders. That’s the beauty of free speech – after you listen, you can make up your mind about somebody’s opinion and argue with them.

The same applies to the views of Jawed Anwar, a prominent Muslim activist and writer in Toronto. Recently he published an article titled   Don Valley West: Liberal Hypocrites Lost the Grip in the online magazine Muslim.ca (h/t BCF & Sanwin).

He writes about the internal struggles in the Muslim community in Toronto over the issue of which politicians they should support. There is no doubt, that’s an important problem.

It turns out, none of the two major parties (Conservatives and Liberals) deserves any support. Harper takes quite a beating from Mr. Anwar as a supporter of the “racist state Israel” and for refusing  to take back the terrorist named Omar Khadr. He even makes sure to express his admiration for Al-Jazeera’s bashing of “Harper’s regime” (it’s nice to know that their vicious Islamic propaganda is readily available in Canada).

The Liberals are not much better – they get their fair share of bashing for starting the “aggression” in Afghanistan and helping Harper to keep Khadr away. However, they are little bit less hated, because many Muslims support the party financially (while, as Mr. Anwar claims, the conservatives don’t get a dime from them).

But when we read further, it becomes clear that there is a certain issue that bothers Jawed Anwar (and probably many other Toronto Muslims) to the point that he is not ashamed to confront it – and that’s the homosexuality of the politicians.

He explained how a few years ago the local Liberal activist Abdul Ingar duped conservative Muslims (men with long beards and women in niqabs) to vote in the provincial elections for Kathleen Wynne, a lesbian, who later became a provincial education minister, even though she couldn’t hide her racism:

“After
capturing and strengthening her throne, Ms Kathleen Wynne, the “Queen” of Don
Valley West, started showing her disliking of “browns” (in Don Valley West, it
is often used to refer to Muslims). “She started racist slur, ‘I don’t like to
see too many browns in my riding’” (meaning Liberal riding posts), said an ex
liberal party memb
er and insider.”

Later on, the same activist supported Rob Oliphant in the federal election, an openly gay United Church minister, who also won.

However, Mr. Anwar doesn’t like what the elected politicians tried to do after they got their positions. He specifically states that the proposed new curriculum in the public school was diametrically opposite to what the Muslims believed in:

“When Kathleen
Wynne became the member of the Ontario Provincial Parliament and education
minister by defeating John Tory who was the advocate of public funding of
religious schools, she tried her best to change the current character of public
school on the path of perversion. She prepared a new curriculum for health and
physical education, before leaving the ministry to join Ministry of Transport.
The new curriculum proposed sex education from grade three, and homosexuality
and trans-sexuality (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit, intersex,
queer) was to be a part of curriculum. Young kids would be taught that you
could have two moms and two dads and all kinds of possible sexual perversion
and relationship and there is nothing wrong in it; it is normal. Moreover,
parents have no right to oppose it… A majority of Muslims are living in poverty
and having several children; they can’t pay enormous fees for private Islamic
schools. Practically, they are forced to send their children to public schools
in all conditions. If they speak against Ms. Wynne’s proposed curriculum, they
will be accused of violating “human rights” and “social justice.” This is the
repressive and authoritarian tendency of Liberal extremists and perverts.”

I agree to a point with the sentiments of the author – the gays are a tiny minority in the society, and even though their rights should be strictly observed, they have no right to impose their lifestyle on others, especially small children (exactly as the heterosexuals have no right to impose their lifestyle on gays).

However, I wouldn’t call that way of life a “perversion”. If a Christian had written what Mr. Anwar wrote in the quote above, he or she would be dragged through the mud by Barbara Hall and her henchmen from the Ontario Human Rights Commission. Yet, I am not aware of anybody condemning Mr. Anwar’s views.

Then Jawed Anwar expresses his displeasure with Ingar’s support for George Smitherman in his run against Rob Ford in last year’s mayoral election in Toronto. And he proudly states that the Muslim community was instrumental in the defeat of the gay candidate Smitherman:

“Last
year when practicing Christians were celebrating Good Friday nationwide, the
top gay politicians of Toronto, under the leadership of Smitherman, were
visiting Masjid Darussalam at the annual inaugural day of “path to piety”
program.” They were invited by Abdul Ingar, on behalf of Masjid Darussalam. Mr.
Ingar announced and requested that everyone meet these “most honorable” people
of Toronto. Mr. Smitherman was the mayoral candidate in the October 2010
Toronto City Election. Do “non-gay” politicians have the same right to do so?
Ask Mr. Ingar (privately when he was not holding the microphone at the Mimbar
of Masjid). And also ask Mr. Rob Ford, new elected mayor of Toronto City to try
to visit here and break the ice. The time has changed now. Despite the Liberal
religious leaders appeal for Smitherman, Muslims of our neighbourhood voted for
Rob Ford. And despite the full effort of liberal riding, MP, MPP, and mayoral
candidate Smitherman’s campaign office, liberal’s darling Muhammad Dhanani lost
the last city councillor election.”

Obviously, Smitherman kissing his “husband” on the lips at public rallies didn’t play well with that segment of the population. After the election I wrote that “homophobia” played a role in Smitherman’s defeat. Now Mr. Anwar proves I was right. Despite the attempts by Smitherman to paint Ford as a pathetic bigot, he himself became a victim of the bigotry of the “multicultural” Toronto, where many ethnicities simply can’t accept a gay politician.

In the end of the article, Mr. Anwar doesn’t forget to mention that Rob Oliphant will be treated the same way (the article was published before the election). He even contrasts the pictures of Oliphant with his “husband” and of the Conservative candidate Carmichael showing women and children. He writes:

“Surprisingly
Rob Oliphant, the Liberal candidate of the Federal Election 2011, was unable to
read the writing on the wall. He is still considering it a soft Liberal riding.
He is so confidently arrogant that he started threatening his opponent voters.
“Never come to my office,” Oliphant responded to a voter at the door of
apartment of 47 Thorncliffe Park Drive, when the voter informed him that he
already voted for another candidate, Oliphant’s opponent. He threatened another
Muslim volunteer of a rival candidate by saying, “I never forget the people.”
So what?”

The editor of the site added a note that Oliphant was defeated by Carmichael by a margin of 639 votes. It means that if Muslims supported Oliphant, he would’ve been elected.

So here we have it – the “rich multicultural tapestry” of Toronto somehow can’t find a place for gays. How much longer would the “queer community” pretend they don’t see anything? Their rights are guaranteed only in the civilized countries in Europe and North America, yet they keep fighting the West for the sake of people who’d rather see them dead.

Their stubborn support for the bunch of anti-Jewish losers called “Queers Against Israeli Apartheid” is a great example of that suicidal behavior. Multiculturalism is not good, especially for gays.

As you can see, Mr. Anwar openly states that Muslims helped defeat two gay politicians solely because of their sexual orientation. That’s as “homophobic” as it could get. Many other people, like me, voted against Smitherman, because he is an incompetent buffoon who as a health minister managed to squander hundreds of millions of taxpayers’ money (although he didn’t forget to play the “gay card” after he lost).

And the most disturbing fact is that multiculturalism is already capable of reshaping the politics in our country for the worse. How long would it take before the Muslims increase in numbers to the point where they can change laws? At that point the funding of the gay parade would be the least of the problems of the “queer community”, they might be forced to fight the drive to outlaw homosexuality. And they would come back whining and crying for the support of the conservative West. But it would be probably too late for everybody…

Muslims Anxiously Awaiting Polygamy’s Legalization in Canada

Just when you think that Canada’s multicultural mess can’t get any worse, something new always comes up. The case in question this time are the court proceedings going on in Bountiful, British Columbia. The judge must decide whether the small rogue Mormon sect there has the right to practice polygamy.

If you think that this is an exotic story worthy only of an HBO show like Big Love, about Bill Henrickson and his three wives, think again.

The trial is anxiously watched by an influential part of the Muslim community in Canada, which desperately wants to make polygamy an integral part of the Canadian life.

polygamy

Canada’s bright polygamous future

Winnipeg Free Press, which made the story public (with information from The Canadian Press), quotes an interview with imam Aly Hindi and he is not ashamed or concerned about his opinion at all:

Aly Hindi, an outspoken imam at Salaheddin Islamic Centre in Scarborough, Ont., said there are more than 200 polygamous Muslim marriages in the Greater Toronto Area alone. The figure is impossible to verify as polygamy among Muslim and other immigrant groups in Canada is often shrouded in mystery.

Hindi believes banning polygamy is harmful to women.

“If the three adults — the husband, the first wife and (the other) women — have consent, I don’t think the government should interfere in this,” Hindi said in a telephone interview.

By disallowing polygamy, the government is encouraging affairs, he told The Canadian Press.

“This is unjust law drawn by men who do not want to carry responsibility for the second woman,” Hindi said.

Hindi would not say how many polygamous marriages he has officiated at, but he did say that he has witnessed marriages where both women celebrated the relationship, contrary to popular views of polygamy.

Advocates say polygamy is justified in the Qur’an and the Prophet Muhammad himself is often cited as an example of being able to marry more than one woman. According to Surat al Nisaa, the “Book of Women” in the Islamic holy book, it is permissible to marry up to four women.

So we have here a “cleric” who openly admits that he and other Muslims in Canada have broken the law. Since when the ramblings of a medieval desert war lord supersede the Canadian common law, which guarantees equal rights to all individuals? Read the rest of this entry »

Free Speech Bashing Party with Senator Poy, Haroon Siddiqui and the Equity Guys

An event named Race in Media and Higher Education: a Town Hall took place on February 15 at OISE, Toronto’s Mecca of political correctness. It was organized by OISE’s anti-racism units, the University of Toronto student union, Chinese National Canadian Council, some trade union and other questionable organizations.

Frankly, before I arrived, I thought that was some kind of a general discussion on race. I was surprised to find out that it was a witch-hunt gathering specifically organized to attack two publications’ right to free speech, namely MacLean’s magazine and Toronto Star for publishing “racist” articles. I would never thought I live to see the day when the lefties accuse Toronto Star of racism (after all that rich rag would publish any Canada-bashing materials to appease the “vulnerable”).

The event could’ve been dismissed like any other OISE loon meeting, if it weren’t for the presence of Vivienne Poy, who is a Senator. The fact that she supports that had a chilling effect on me. After all, she is a federal politician.  It reminded me of the public meetings at my university in Europe when it was necessary to condemn and destroy somebody, who dared say something that differed from the Party line.

The only consolation, which prevented the event from turning into a horror show, was that Olivia Chow somehow missed it.

The organizers had prepared all the props necessary for a successful campaign as required by the rules of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution. They had red buttons with slogans: Too Asian for MacLean’s and Too Asian for Rogers (only $2 each). You could see on the table the little paper envelopes, which Chinese use to exchange money for the New Year, but with the same buttons inside.

too-asian-for-macleans

Anti-capitalist buttons for the Red Guards

chinese-money-bags-of-hate

Even more buttons inside

anti-macleans-postcards

Anti-MacLean's postcrads

And the most important prop was a petition, ready to sign. It listed MacLean’s’s sins, which included not only the article Too Asian, but also the Muslim case (which involved Mark Steyn) and the recent Quebec article.  That’s a really well organized attack of the usual bunch of whining organizations.

As a retribution, the petition wanted from the government to stop any funding for MacLean’s. For some unknown reason, Toronto Star wasn’t mentioned in it.

petition

The anti-MacLean's petition

For the record, I read that “controversial” article. It discusses some real cultural differences and if anything, it is denigrating to the white students, who are presented as discouraged by the high achievements of the Chinese students. You must be a really petty and vindictive person to find racism in the article.

The meeting was opened with a blessing by a U of T professor, who was native. She lit up some incense and started talking waving around a feather. Is this the fashionable thing to do among the lefties?  An Indian did the same thing at the Arizona shooting victims memorial, which Obama attended as well. She said she did for cleansing and bringing in peace, especially for her ancestors from the Mississauga lands. She had a long laundry list of entities, creatures and spirits that she had to thank. Mother Earth and the water, the grass and the plants, which help us, the birds that fulfill their obligations… There were special thanks for the eagle that provided her feather… Thanks to the sun for giving life, to Grandmother Moon who regulates the waters and gives us children.

native-ceremony

Thanking everything that is visible or invisible

It’s beyond me how the “progressives” who denigrate any religion (except Islam) can seriously promote that rambling. But I guess that’s the catch – if you say something against it, you’ll be labelled a heartless anti-Native bigot.

Then the chairman (or chair?) of the gathering, a guy with a shaved head whose name I didn’t catch, said that the issue to be discussed concerned two articles – the MacLean’s magazine’s and another one in Toronto Star. Apology was not enough, the protesters wanted from the culprits to make changes in their way of work to ensure fair reporting. Many organizations (mostly Chinese and other Asian) as well as students have condemned the articles for their racism. According to him, these were not the first transgressions of the Canadian press. Muslims were targeted before by MacLean’s. The Native community was accused of smuggling cigarettes and their peaceful protest in Caledonia was presented as something horrible. (Don’t they smuggle tax-free cigarettes? There are many people who buy from them. As of the Caledonia, you must be really thick to deny that a bunch of armed Native thugs terrorized the working people there for months with the silent approval of the police; the same people who pay for the Native welfare cheques!).

race-in-media-panel

The MacLean's death panel

Then he presented the “tribunal”: Vivienne Poy (a Senator appointed by Chretien). She is from a powerful Chinese Canadian clan (related to the former Governor General Clarkson), just like the powerful clan of Jack, Olivia and their son. The next was Haroon Siddiqui, Toronto Star’s resident Islamist. In the list of his achievements they mentioned that she got an award for work on redefining of the Canadian identity (wonderful!).

Then came the “equity guys”, the last three panellists were involved in different ways in the multi-culti forces: Jill Matus, Vice Provost Students, University of Toronto; Rinaldo Walcott, Chair, Sociology and Equity Studies, U of T, and Danielle Sandhu, Vice President Equity, U of T Student Union.

It was important to listen to Senator Poy’s words, because that’s probably what the position of the Liberal Party on freedom of press is. Here is what she had to say.

senator-poy-and-others

Senator Vivienne Poy

MacLean’s doesn’t represent the Canadian media at large; it works only for the right-wing segment of the population. She received many angry letters protesting the article, mostly from Asian people (she didn’t say how many). Instead of bridging the differences, the magazine tries to introduce division into the society.

Is this a free speech issue? No, because there are limits, not all speech is acceptable. Promoting division is not what the Canadian journalism is all about. Canadian journalism is less sensational than its American counterpart and we should keep it that way.  She supported her observation with a quote from Michael Moore. In his documentary “Bowling for Columbine”, he compared the very crime rate of Detroit with a virtual lack of crime in Windsor. He concluded that Canada has fewer crimes because of the better media.

The Attack of the Hijab Hairdresser

This is how a performance of the National Ballet of Canada would probably look in the future after an extensive training in multicultural sensitivity conducted by the Human Rights Commission and whichever Muslim organization handles the sharia compliance. If you don’t believe me, please read on…

islamic-sharia-compliant-ballet

Human Rights Commission approved ballet

It’s official! The hijab is the most powerful weapon for wealth redistribution available in Canada.

Few days ago we covered the case of Maxcine Telfer who was fined $36,000 for disagreeing with the weird hijab that one of her Muslim employees wore, even though the employment continued for only 6 weeks. If it wasn’t for the upper court decision on appeal, she would have lost her house to satisfy the “human rights” sadists.  In that post we predicted that the hijab would become a nice tool of money extortion, liberally applied by Muslim fanatics.

That was like a psychic prediction, which almost immediately came true. Now we have a Muslim hairdresser who is going to sue her employer on the ground of the mighty hijab. The ominous parallel to the previous case is that she was employed for 6 weeks before she attacked her hair salon where she worked.

The details of the case in the news piece that announced it are quite sketchy, but anyone who has dealt with the human rights commission horror can form an opinion.

A Muslim woman named Mehwish Ali was dismissed from her job as a hairstylist at a Pickering (Ontario) salon after 6 weeks of work (that was part of a three-month probation period).

According to her story, she was let go because few days before the dismissal she wore a hijab at work for a first time. The company owners, Mylene and Rob Facchini, told her that the scarf wasn’t consistent with the nature of the company, which was supposed to promote hair styling. Read the rest of this entry »

Ontario Human Rights Inquisition on Trial

The Ontario Human Rights Tribunal is under attack. This time the hit didn’t come from its disgruntled victims, it was delivered by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. The court shredded into pieces a recent decision of the Tribunal, which would have left a hard working woman homeless. The HRT and HRC are usually called kangaroo courts, but after this case using that name would be an insult to all kangaroos in Australia.

There are three main characters in this tragic case, which was eventually brought to the attention of the upper court: the accuser Seema Saadi (a Bangladeshi Muslim), the accused Maxcine Telfer (a Black businesswoman), and the adjudicator Faisal Bhabha (Muslim). It is important to mention the race and religion of the participants, because they are at the bottom of that travesty of justice.

Ms. Telfer was running a service (financed by the government), which helped immigrant women to settle in Canada. She hired Ms. Saadi, who apparently was a devout Muslim. Six weeks later she let Ms. Saadi go for a cause. The latter filed a case with the tribunal citing discrimination on the base of race and religion, with main arguments based on the microwave policy and the dress code. She was reprimanded for using the microwave in the office to warm up foul smelling food (requirement that was applied to everyone). While she wore most of the time tasteful outfit compliant with her religion, one day she showed up in short skirt, strange anklet and leggings and even weirder hijab.

Since that was an organization promoting ways for immigrant women to fit into the Canadian society, Ms. Telfer disapproved of Saadi’s outfit.

Once the case reached the tribunal, the real fun began. As it is the custom, all of Saadi’s legal expenses were paid by the taxpayers. Telfer couldn’t afford a lawyer and had to represent herself. Just like most of us, she had very little knowledge of the legal procedures and the adjudicator Faisal Bhabha brilliantly took advantage of that. A key witness for Telfer couldn’t appear at the hearing because he had a family emergency, she tried to present a written testimony from him, but it was rejected. Bhabha never told her that she could get an adjournment of the case until the witness is available.

In the end of all that, she was found guilty and ordered to pay $36,000 to her accuser (great pay for 6 weeks of work). Since not many people have that much cash lying around, she was unable to come up with the money. At certain point the tribunal lost patience and tried to confiscate her house to cover the fine from the proceeds after it is sold.

Out of pure desperation, Telfer decided to appeal to a higher court, incurring even more legal expenses (over $10,000). The appeal was successful, the court reversed the tribunal’s decision and ordered Saadi to pay Telfer’s legal expenses. The tribunal said that they will make the payment for her.

It’s admirable that Maxcine Telfer was successful. If a white man was in her position, his house would’ve been sold long time ago letting him with the only option to reflect on his misfortune while waiting on the welfare line. And his accuser would be chilling out on a Bangladeshi beach (if sharia allows beaches).

The higher court decision provides a rare glimpse into what is going on within those sinister organizations called “Human Rights” commissions and tribunals. Probably not many reach the level of Telfer’s hopelessness that could motivate them to fight.

For those who care to learn from history, there is a striking similarity between the methods of those commissions and the medieval Inquisition. There is a book called The Malleus Maleficarum, which in the Middle Ages was the main manual on how to hunt and identify witches. It was written by two monks, apparently sexually deprived fellows with a taste for sadism.

One of the most “effective” methods to tell if a woman is a witch was to tie together her wrists and ankles (as it is shown in the contemporary picture below). Then the woman was thrown into a river. If she managed to come to the surface, she was definitely a witch and had to die at the stake. However, if she drowned, that was an evidence of her purity and innocence. Yes, it’s a tough lose-lose situation.

witch-probe

Do you see any difference between the poor “witch” and Maxcine Telfer? Telfer was tied and prevented from proving her case and eventually sentenced. In order to swim to the surface and get justice, she had to spend thousands of dollars. She was losing in both situations. (The HRC’s Malleum Maleficarum is the Abridged Policies and Guidelines of the OHRC, you can find them in the Annotated Ontario Human Rights Code by Adelyn L. Bowland. Once you read that text, you will understand why practically nobody has a chance of winning if accused). Read the rest of this entry »

Feng Shui Multiculturalism

The Canadian multiculturalism has delivered another blow on common sense. It was announced few days ago that the University of British Columbia has put on hold the plans to build a hospice on its campus. The reason for that were the objections of a group of Chinese people, who live in condominium building nearby. They believed that a building full of dying people will disturb the feng shui balance – their daily lives will be put in disarray due to the negative energy emitted by the hospice.

This incident may look insignificant, but it is symptomatic of the level to which our country has descended since the time when the philandering Mr. Trudeau shoved multiculturalism down Canada’s collective throat. At the time the issue wasn’t discussed widely, maybe people thought that he was opening the country to the best and brightest of the world cultures. Instead Canada was flooded with bizarre believes, which according to the dogmas of multiculturalism must be treated as equal to the Western culture.

In this case, according to the press, the Chinese condominium residents probably had two reasons to do what they did. The first one was the fear of dropping property values. Reportedly each one of them paid over one million dollars for their condominiums and they won’t be able to get that much when reselling them to the next sucker. But since you can’t count this as a legitimate reason, they played the multicultural card. Whatever the real reason, their behaviour is beyond appalling: to deny dying people a facility for your selfish reasons doesn’t put them very high on the scale of morality. If the developers were proposing a strip club or an Irish pub they might have had a legitimate objection, but to oppose a hospice that will be guaranteed to be quiet is really low.

But that’s the way the Chinese parvenus act: after making their money by selling substandard junk to the West produced by child labour or severely exploited workers, they think that the money they have gives them a free pass to do whatever they want. In China they would’ve dealt with the issue in a simple way by just making the demand to the local authorities who are dependent on them. Since China still hasn’t bribed enough politicians in Canada to follow the whims of those “Canadians”, they put into play the most stupid and primitive elements of the Chinese culture.

The funny thing about their demand is how they defended it. The Globe and Mail in its coverage of the case quotes a certain Ms. Janet Fan, apparently a spokeswoman for the group, who says: “It is all about cultural sensitivity. We came here as new immigrants with our own belief system. And in our beliefs, it is impossible for us to have dying people in our backyard.”

I want to stop for a minute and think about that statement. Saying that the woman is viciously arrogant would be an understatement. She and the people behind her can serve as a poster child of the essence of multiculturalism and what’s wrong with it: a group of low-life opportunists come to Canada with the goal to exploit it misguided tolerance with a primitive, stone-age worthy belief and they have absolutely no intention to adapt. The stupid Canadians must accept their belief, no matter what.

Feng Shui is a primitive superstition with no basis in reality. The fact that millions of people in China believe in it doesn’t make it more valid. And the fact that enterprising swindlers are selling it to naïve Canadians through the Learning Annex or the web doesn’t add more credibility either. After all, don’t forget that many millions in medieval Europe believed in witchcraft and you probably remember what was the result of that.

My first encounter with feng shui was long time ago when I used to work for a small hotel in Toronto owned by a Taiwanese family. They were Canadian citizens, but lived in Taiwan just like many other “Canadians” who live in their respective countries and remember Canada only when they need something from her. At least the Taiwanese family was paying taxes on their Toronto property.

One day we found a large kitschy painting in the hotel’s storage room.  It showed a picture of a river flowing toward the observer. We decided to hang it in the lobby facing the front door. The next month, the owners came from Taiwan for their regular visit. Upon entering the lobby and seeing the picture, the matron of the family started to yell something in Chinese. The Chinese girl who worked there explained to me that according to feng shui, water flow meant money. And by pointing the flow toward the door, we let the money go away. The picture must be facing the front desk where the money should go.

We moved the picture within minutes. Did it change anything? Not at all. And I didn’t need feng shui to tell you why. The hotel was run on a shoestring, with repairs done only if absolutely necessary, after finding the cheapest possible company in Chinatown. It was no wonder that we couldn’t charge any decent price for the stay.

You may say that the westerners are no better with their astrology and palmistry, but can you imagine how the authorities will treat anybody here who tries to justify his or her objection to something through astrology and palmistry? They will laugh them out. Yet they cave in when feng shui is used as a reason even though it is exactly as stupid as astrology and palmistry.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but weren’t the universities supposed to be temples of science and truth created to destroy the darkness of ignorance? Why then the University of British Columbia backed off under the pressure of an ancient superstition? Where they bribed by them? The answer is simple: if the condominium Chinese had gone to complain to the Human Rights Commission, it would have cost the university a big chunk of money.

Those commissions act exactly like the medieval inquisition, upholding the most bizarre beliefs and actions and charging institutions, businesses and individuals thousands of dollars just because they dared to oppose those beliefs.

Of course, the university should know that they may have a chance of winning because in the reverse discrimination scale of the Human Rights Commissions, the rich Chinese don’t have a very high status. They are not deprived enough, even though they are higher than the whites.

If the hospice was designed for overweight white Christian men with Anglo-Saxon names who have voted for Harper and they are dying of diabetes, there will be no chance of winning. The dying will probably be shipped in cattle trucks to the deepest rain forests of British Columbia to die in obscurity.

However, if the hospice was to be used by lesbian Haitian converts to Islam, who are dying of AIDS, the commission may decide that the luxury Chinese condominiums nearby are a far better option to house them.

That’s not funny. Things in our country have deteriorated to the point where the traditional Western culture is pushed systematically into the sewer of history and the quasi-cultures that are trying to take over have to fight with each other to establish supremacy.

Actually it will be funny for the Westerners to watch how those “cultures” devour each other. Many Muslims can firmly state just like Ms. Fan that they came to Canada with their own “belief system”. How long would it take before the Muslims demand shutting down Chinese restaurants, because the fumes of the pork cooked there offends their cultural sensitivity? And since they also have a strong belief in their righteousness, their demand should be granted. The anti-pork belief is as stupid as the feng shui belief so it will be hard to decide which stupidity is superior from the viewpoint of political correctness.

From the same point of view, an African witch doctor may ask for the same license as a Western medical doctor. That will be easy to justify: the Western doctor is a servant of “big pharma” who poisons his patients with useless chemicals, while the witch doctor is an oppressed shaman close to nature who mobilizes the natural forces to cure people (and he fights colonialism as a side business).

Isn’t anybody bothered by that monstrous travesty of justice?! Using primitive beliefs to fight dying people is a disgrace to that part of the Chinese community, which is involved in this incident. Where are the educated Chinese scientists and engineers to condemn what happened? It is natural to think that they would be above the superstitions. Their silence implies that they are not against the attack on reason. They probably feel comfortable when the culture that created the country they were willing to immigrate to is destroyed as long as their homeland’s superstitions are doing the job of destruction.

And what about the politicians? Olivia Chow, the most prominent Canadian politician of Chinese background hasn’t said a word either. Last year she went out of her way to confront the statements of the CSIS director Richard Fadden and even managed to censor his book, in which he stated that China is spying on Canada.  Everybody knows that China is doing that in many countries, including here. China maintains spies in all industrialized nations.

In her propaganda materials that she sends me often (I am her constituent), Olivia champions the cause of the underprivileged. Here is her opportunity to take the side of the dying people against the arrogance of the rich Chinese parvenus. Is she going to do it? Of course she won’t, if she keeps silent, she will keep getting those donations and would never be deprived of the precious Chinese votes.

Her son (or stepson or whatever) Mike Layton recently joined the family NDP business as a Toronto councillor from Trinity-Spadina. His first action in his new position was to waste the council’s time by involving it in a harassment campaign against MacLeans Magazine for publishing an article that supposedly offended the Chinese.  That is the second attack against the magazine after the Arabs sued it few years ago. Obviously, the multicultural police don’t like any objective discussion. Jack and Olivia must be proud of him for maintaining the family legacy of fighting against our country’s traditions.

Maybe we should remind those feng shui enthusiasts that it is not acceptable in Canada to justify your greed and arrogance with superstitions (at least for now, until the Human Rights Commission outlaws reason and logic). And as for the Layton-Chow family, they should be aware that their Chinese masters are not the only people who live in the Trinity-Spadina area. Catering to greedy parvenus who think that they can turn Canada into a miniature China is not a political strategy that will ensure the family’s political future, unless the thinking Canadians lose their minds.

Opening the door to that insane Chinese superstition will definitely bring a flood of even more insanity coming from many other parts of the world, which will eventually obliterate everything that our country stood for.  But probably that’s the not-so-deeply hidden plan of multiculturalism.

Indian Chiefs “Earn” More Than Canada’s Prime Minister

According to recent information obtained by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation it turns out that many aboriginal politicians in Canada make substantial amounts of money (news here).

The statistics shows that 222 Indian chiefs and counsellors all across Canada receive more money than the Premiers in their provinces. And with 82 of them, the situation is even rosier – their income exceeds the salary of Stephen Harper.

If you think that the information was readily available and transparent as is the case with the other politicians in Canada, you will be wrong. The most interesting thing about the numbers is that it took the Federation over a year of repeated requests to get the salary amounts from the Department of Indian Affairs.

It’s no wonder, because bringing that information to the public hurts the traditional image of the Natives of Canada as perennial martyrs who still suffer the White Man’s evil.

In a very blatant example of misuse of money, a certain chief in the Maritimes, who presides over a community of 304 people, has received $978,000 tax free. Read the rest of this entry »

Should the Whites Feel Guilty about the Aboriginals in Canada?

In July we published a story about a Canadian white woman who was denied a government job because of her race. It was an appalling case of discrimination, which would never make it to the Human Rights Commission. Few days ago we received a letter from a reader, which made some great points about that post.

Since those are issues that need to be discussed in public, below we show the full text of the letter, followed by our comments. The only change made was to omit the reader’s name in order to protect his/her privacy:

I was reading the post from July 26th, 2010 entitled “Get Lost Whitey” by admiwrath and I had the following response. You want to discuss institutional racism? Have you even considered the consistent marginalization of aboriginal peoples in this country is the ultimate example of this practice? Maybe before you start complaining about the hiring practices of the Canadian government you should consider why it is that you are here in the first place.

Where ever you are in Canada right now, you are on stolen land. This land was stolen from aboriginal people through a completely absurd treaty process which was forced upon First Nations. Or perhaps you think this sort of blatantly racist treatment of aboriginals in Canada is relegated to the history texts. Not so, my friend. Many native communities have inadequate infrastructure: poor and over-crowded housing, over 100 reserves are on a “boil water” advisory or are without basic sewage and electricity. Aboriginal health is also generally poorer than that of the average Canadian: higher infant mortality rates, lower life expectancy, tuberculosis rates 8 to 10 times higher than the rest of Canada.

Many reserves also lack proper educational facilities (see Attawapiskat or Kasheshewan, Ontario). In fact, 1 in 4 First Nations children live in poverty compared to 1 in 6 children in Canada. Overall, the average Canadian gets services from the federal, provincial and municipal governments at an amount that is almost two-and-a-half times greater than that received by First Nations citizens. If you really believe that whites are somehow being treated unfairly, perhaps you should read the article, “White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack” by Peggy McIntosh, followed by “The Color of Supremacy: Beyond the Discourse of White Privilege” by Zeus Leonardo.

If these are not your thing, try researching the UN Human Rights Council’s condemnation of Canada’s treatment of aboriginal and other marginalized people. Canada was one of 4 nations which refused to endorse the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (the other 3 being Australia, New Zealand and the US…all of whom have substantial indigenous populations and essentially the most to lose from giving aboriginal people the same rights as everyone else). Now, do you really think that the government’s hiring practices are unfair? Don’t aboriginal people deserve some sort of leg-up after centuries of devastation? Just a thought.

C****** from Ottawa

Dear C******,

You make some excellent points, which need to be discussed openly for the benefit of the Canadian public.

I am not complaining about the government hiring practices per se. What bothers me is that the government ignores a document called Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Supposedly, it was introduced to ensure the equal treatment of all Canadians, yet the Left with remarkable ingenuity violates the Charter by introducing more and more minority right, for which the silent majority is supposed to pay. Sudanese Muslim to Sue Canada for $27 Million

Just when I thought that things were getting boring in the Canadian “legal land” after the ridiculous lawsuit for $45 million filed by a woman arrested during the G-20 riots, something just as ridiculous came up. On September 1st it was announced that a Sudanese Muslim was allowed by the Federal Court to sue the federal government and the Foreign Affairs Minister for $27 million. Abousfian Abdelrazik  is demanding that amount because the accused allegedly violated his right to freedom and security.

Abdelrazik (a Canadian citizen since 1995) was stranded in Sudan for 6 years, where he went in 2003. Shortly after his arrival he was arrested by the Sudanese government and spent 11 months in a local jail. After his release, he was arrested again and spent another 9 months in jail. He claims that he was tortured while imprisoned. During his imprisonment his Canadian passport expired and later he found out that he was put on the UN no-fly list, so he wasn’t able to travel. Canadian Idol Reject Turns into a Terrorist

Canadian authorities just made arrests in Ottawa. According to the information released officially, the people they arrested are going to be charged with terrorosm. For the outraged lefties: this was a result of a lengthy investigation.

It turns out that one of the suspected terrorists was Khuram Sher, who was a contender on Canadian Idol.  Here is his performance:

What a performance! The Canadian Idol judges were so insensitive. Although he didn’t show exceptional musical talent, he should have been approved due to his marvelous Taliban uniform.

That should be a lesson to Canada:  if you offend any weirdo (especially if it’s deserved) they may turn against you and you will be blamed for that.

And for the lefties who support cultural diversity: why don’t you take your case to the Ontario Human Rights Commission? The Ontario Inquisition will be more than happy to take the case of a singing  Taliban and convincingly show that he was discriminated due to his attire (of course, the singing ability doesn’t matter to them).

Campbell Soup Canada – Proudly Halal

In a flyer for a major Toronto supermarket chain (distributed in the downtown area) Campbell announces that it proudly offers halal soup and other halal products:

campbell-halal-products

Isn’t that great? So what about the other non-halal products? It seems now that you have to stack a pile of them, because they may be on their way out:

campbell's-bean-bacon-soup

Seriously, if a food company makes halal products, isn’t it “haram” if it produces pork-based food? Or will it gradually get rid of them? How is this issue resolved from the sharia point of view?

Do the companies like Campbell in Saudi Arabia show solidarity and make bacon soup? Or probably, as usual, the West is showing its limitless tolerance without expecting any reciprocity…

Harper Finally Takes a Stand against the Tamil Smuggling

After several days of silence, Prime Minister Stephen Harper finally expressed his opinion. At a press conference in Mississauga, ON, he acknowledged that the Canadians are concerned about a whole boat of people who enter the country ignoring the regular immigration channels.

His stand is much better than the position of Count Ignatieff and “Taliban Jack” Layton, who would let in anybody who shows up at the border for any reason just not to spoil the Third World’s impression of Canada as being the most generous dumping place in the world. Read the rest of this entry »

Welcome to Canada, Tamil Tigers!

A ship carrying 490 Tamils, among which smugglers and possibly people linked to the Tamil Tigers, a known terrorist organization, had no problem arriving in Canada last week.  Now we have another batch of freeloaders, who for a long while will be getting free food, free housing, and free healthcare. The government showed us once again that illegal migrants’ interest come far above the interests of its citizens and the people who wait for years to immigrate to Canada. What were they thinking??? Conference on Political Islam’s Effects: Polygamy, Niqab, and Honor Killing

A Conference on the effect of globalization of political Islam on women’s rights, in question with polygamy, neqab and honor killing took place in Toronto today, organized by the International Campaign Against Sharia’s Court in Canada. The speakers raised disturbing issues about blatant violations of individual rights in Canada in the name of multiculturalism and freedom of religion.

Your Friendly Multicultural Exploiter

Recently Toronto Star ran a story about the labour conditions in Toronto’s Chinatown. Their main example was a woman, who came from China in 2006. Apparently, she didn’t start work until this year, because she was raising two young children. She didn’t speak any English, so her only option was working in Chinatown.

She found a job at a manicure salon, but then was asked to pay $400 deposit for the privilege to work there. On top of that she agreed to work seven days a week, ten hours a day and receive for that $25 daily wage. Eventually, she had to leave the job due to exhaustion.  Read the rest of this entry »

SHARIA HEALTHCARE IN CANADA

The sharia law has taken another step forward in Canada. The most appalling thing is that this time it has been “applied” by healthcare professionals. In a nutshell, at Kingston General Hospital (Ontario) a new mother with complications from emergency C-section and her baby were forced to move out of a common hospital room so that a Muslim woman would be able to breastfeed her baby undisturbed. You can read the full story here. What added insult to the injury was the fact that the mother was also forced to pay $750 for using the new room. Read the rest of this entry »

Halal Discount!

Great way to save on halal hot dogs in Toronto. At this hot dog cart (just across the street from the Jewish Community Centre on Spadina) you can get halal beef hot dog with pop for only $2.50.

If you are an infidel, you would pay $2.50 for a hot dog plus a $1 for pop, accrding to their regular prices displayed at the other side of the cart. It pays to be a believer.

I wonder for how long would’ve this sign survived, if it read:

“PORK SAUSAGES WITH POP FOR CATHOLICS ONLY, $2.50″

WEARING A TURBAN TRUMPS JOB SAFETY IN THE ORWELLIAN WORLD OF THE ONTARIO HUMAN RIGHTS TRIBUNAL

Several weeks ago “Toronto Sun” reported about another mind-blowing decision of the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal. They decreed that a Sikh security guard, who was required to wear a hard hat during construction work at Home Depot and refused to do so, has been discriminated against.

The incident happened in December 2005, and as usual has been dragged for years. The security guard (named Deepinder Loomba) was asked to replace his turban with a hard hat to ensure his safety while the repair works were done at the store and so was everybody else. Read the rest of this entry »

Get Lost, Whitey! How the Canadian Government Uses Institutional Racism in Its Hiring Practices

It is strange that somebody finally realized that the hiring policies of the Government of Canada are plagued with racism. That’s nothing new. Everybody with even a modest IQ level has been painfully aware of that while applying for any government job.

The strange thing is that the Government finally stated that they plan to do something about it. All that commotion was started few days ago by Sara Landriault. Being a stay-at-home mom she was out of the work force for few years. After raising her children she decided to look for a job. She was interested in the position of an administrative assistant at citizen and immigration, but the friendly multicultural racists from the human resources department had a nasty surprise for her. It turned out the job was open only to aboriginal applicants. Read the rest of this entry »
